We were there Sunday November 10. Some dishes were lukewarm and not very tasty. Main meal service very very slow, more than 2 hours of waiting. For my part, tartare and fish and chips were good.

There were 4 of us...3 excellent dishes. On the other hand, for the fourth this was not the case. Plate of veal liver with overcooked meat bordering on dry and tenacious. We mentioned this to the waitress as well as the chef. No one took our comment into consideration. Too bad...it ruins the reputation of the restaurant. Mistakes in the kitchen happen. But not listening to your customers is questionable.

This is my second time at the restaurant and this time, my salmon tartare was not as good and the service took longer but the restaurant was full, so a little acceptable

Bravo à léquipe, le service était impeccable dans une ambiance festive. Pour 46$ par table dhôte dans un contexte dapporter votre vin, en fonction du bon repas, cest raisonnable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this experience. We pass by often and as it is always busy we decided to try it! For two people who used to be in the restaurant business, we had no expectations! What a beautiful Friday! Bottle of wine in hand, we all felt the air of conviviality! Hugo knows his customers! He is present and ensures that his customers are taken care of. Excellent service! And what about the food. The seafood linguini was excellent! My husband ate the beef tartare; he loved it. Very good idea to have the fried wontons. Duck puff pastry starter; we are speechless! The salted caramel cheesecake wow!!! You have just gained new customers who will come regularly! We have just returned there for a second time and still just as satisfied! The tuna tataki was delicious. Linguini with mushrooms and duck; my husband loved it! Warm welcome. We feel at home. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu. Parking: Large parking lot in front of the restaurant. You can also park on the street. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu available at a very reasonable price.

Very good place for food and atmosphere

I thought the vegetables didnt look fresh. The starter salad had dark green leaves and all softened. For a restaurant at this price it disappoints me a little.

There were 4 of us and we had different dishes and they were all excellent from starter to dessert. The atmosphere is warm and the service impeccable! It was my first experience at this restaurant and I will definitely be returning!

First visit here, on a weekday evening, there are few people. Attentive service but it was long especially towards the end of dinner. There was no waitress in the room for a good half hour if not more. The soup of the day was delicious, the veal liver was unfortunately too veiny, it spoiled the dish. The tartare was very good. Well have to go back to give this restaurant a second chance, there are some dishes that look good on the menu.

Beautiful warm and pretty place, we were pleasantly surprised by the calm despite the presence and proximity of people. The background music was at a good sound. Unfortunately very disappointing evening overall... Starter of salmon tartare good taste but half cooked by the acidity, the salad dressing was however excellent. The ultra-salty flank steak, if at least the sauce would have toned it down. Such a shame for such a beautiful, perfectly cooked piece. Asparagus also way too salty. Beautiful freshness of food. The staff is very, very young. Great interpersonal skills, friendly but no quality assurance, we were never asked if it was good except when picking up the plates. Dessert: too much unnecessary coulis and disappointment for grocery store caramel and chocolate coulis. So we all wont go back, but good potential. Bitter to pay so much to eat bread and a mini tartare of clearly not 90 grams.

Beautiful restaurant, warm welcome but disappointing food. There were 6 of us and only one person was completely satisfied with their choice (warm goats cheese starter, pulled duck linguine). bland and small mixed salad for $10, very salty Caesar salad and flank steak. On the menu it said chicken stuffed with prosciutto, cheese and dried tomato mousse but the mousse was in a small bowl on the side and the sauce was not up to par with a good restaurant. A choice of side dish other than fries (baked potatoes or rice) would have been desirable. However, I see the very positive comments, which is why we are so disappointed, perhaps we made the wrong choices

Restaurant not worth the detour! Cooked tartare, flank steak far too salty and owner visibly frustrated at being told so! It is impossible to ignore the treatment we received that evening. Searching for your customers on Facebook and writing to them privately to tell them that they will no longer be served in your restaurant if they decide to return is unacceptable. Thank you for your blatant lack of professionalism!

This is the place to eat in Varennes. The food is tasty and the service is excellent. There is a gluten-free menu and hot gluten-free bread. It s a BYOB. I highly recommend. Small suggestion: I would have liked to have a waitress assigned to our table 3 times we came and asked if we were ready to order from 3 different waitresses...and who does the tip go to? all together and we share? Restaurant Apportez votre vin, Service courtois, sympathique et rapide. La nourriture était très bien dans lensemble (potage, tartare, linguine au canard et joue de boeuf). Quelques extra intéressants (pain chaud et beurre maison). Jaurais peut être préféré la sauce à part pour la joue de boeuf, mais cest seulement pour trouver quelque chose à dire. Merci!

There were 10 of us celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday in the very pleasant little room, the menu seemed great at first glance and the service was very good, but the experience was spoiled when I received my plate of salmon. I imagined a beautiful steak of grilled and perfectly cooked pink salmon and I received, along with another person in my family, a gray brown salmon which tasted strongly of fish and not at all salmon under a mountain of capers which in this This case fortunately masked the terrible taste of salmon. The others seemed to enjoy their meal with the exception of a flank steak ordered rare which was blue bordering on raw and the duo meal of tartare which left my 16 year old daughter hungry, even though she does not have a big appetite . Very small portion. It was a great evening overall, but for us it was a first and last time.

We booked a week ago for 6 people on Thursday. We called back to change the day to Friday. When he arrived there he had neither our Thursday reservation nor our Friday reservation. And he couldnt even make room for us.

We had booked for Friday at 6:00 p.m. my Maries name didnt seem on the list. The young lady offered us to go outside. I told her, lets see, its been 3 weeks since we booked, she told me, were full. inside and didnt even take the time to check the list properly. We left and I was very angry it was a very important family dinner for me, 10 minutes later she called my Marie back to tell her that he had registered Jule instead of Gilles and she had the no families plus he was too late we were on our way to another restaurant. She really didnt make an effort, very poor customer service.
