Some aspects were good, some not so much. Decor, atmosphere, music, all 5 star. The food presentation 5 stars too. The taste? What can only be described as wedding food. You know the taste so generic and undefined that no one could say it was bad but when asked what it tasted like...water with a hint of air comes to mind. The most flavorful item was the creamy tomato soup.
The place has a good vibe, the steak was very good, but terrible presentation, my plate was spattered with oil/butter which made it looked dirty, the waiter should have never served that plate to a client, also only the steak on the plate, nothing else, the fries were cold had to be returned. Our waiter was not attentive in any way, never asked if all was ok, we were left in a corner and forgotten about, never came back once to check on us, never offered coffee, dessert. I had to run around the place to get our bill, too bad nice place, but due to terrible service and poor presentation would not return.
This is an awesome party place. The food is variable. We were there with large party and had a set menu. The escargot and the shrimp were amazing. The salad was mediocre, the chicken cacciatore was really good. The life DJ clued in quickly to which music made the crowd hop and put on a great party. It was a somewhat nice night (Montreal in June, it is comme ci comme ça ) but they have an upstairs terrace and opened the space underneath it up as a dance floor, and it is fabulous and accommodates a lot of people. The drinks are really good and not skimpy in either quality or quantity. So all over I would definitely recommend this for any size party, although it is a bit out of the way.
Overall the ambiance is nice and the food was tasty from entrees to main course and dessert. Unfortunately the service was lacking and perhaps that was due to an excessively noisy table of what seemed to be adults acting as teenagers. It's unfortunate because many of the patrons were displeased yet the management didn't do much and unless they do they will continue to attract kids in adult clothing. Worth a try or better yet go to the cozy cafe, that place is hip trendy and classy sans the fools.
Great restaurant! We went for supper Friday night Jan 18 with family. Our meal was excellent I had a rib steak and it was delicious. The restaurant is modern and very clean. The staff were all friendly and good at what they do but don’t be in a hurry to get your food as it did take a while. We didn’t mind as we weren’t in any rush. There was a Carribbean style band playing and it made me feel like I was somewhere Caribbean, I really enjoyed the music and the ambiance. I would recommend this restaurant and we will definitely eat here again!
Can't really comment on the regular restaurant or menu, as we were here for a wedding. But for a wedding, the place was beautiful. Very cozy, great service, and the food, for the most part was very good Seeing as the whole place was closed for this wedding, I would say for about 80 guests or so, the food came pretty smoothly. The only thing was the salmon was a touch dry, and just a little under temp. Like I said though, it was a big party and I'm sure on a regular night salmon would not be cooked in advance. Would definitely come back as a regular customer to try again .
Food is decent...but expensive.. Limited menu. None the less i keep fining myself back in there randomly. Some experiences are better than others for me at Sonny's. What i like is there are different areas that have a separate vibe. One side of the resto has a classy kind of romantic feel to it. The other side is more of a fun bar type feeling. Myself i like to go up on the second floor.. kind of a mezzanine feeling overlooking the whole establishment a little bit tight up there but still amusing to me. Don't let my opinion sway you is well worth checking out. I've noticed better food quality at night mind you
Decor had a high-end vibe with leather finishes and modern feel. Atmosphere to put customers at ease and well attended. Music not too loud so my husband and I could have a conversation. Live music later on was very good where you could still talk and hear your companion. Good happy hour specials. Michele, our waitress, was excellent. Manager and owner were also very attentive and we weren't spending a lot of money. It's just that they were giving good service. We will be back and we will bring our friends.

I like the ambience, clean beautiful place. Staff was friendly and Bilingual. Food, 3 out of the 4 of us ordered 8oz filet mignon and didnt eat half of it. All 3 filet mignons were dry (medium rare). My only complaint
This restaurant is an unappreciated gem on the western edge of Vaudreuil-Dorion just off highway 20. They have been at this location since at least the early 90s and they have done well to remain current with their decor and menu. The dinner menu was limited to less than a dozen main dishes (with a nice selection of entrées) but the ones chosen by my party were done to perfection and earned positive reviews. (The only critique I would offer is that I found the draft beer and dessert offerings to be on the modest side; more options would be appreciated.) Sunnys also has a terrace which I look forward to trying out this summer. I was told that they host receptions here on the second floor and I can confirm they have the room for it. The wait staff was very welcoming, friendly and very professional. I came away feeling very pleased with the experience and would not hesitate to return again.

Another of many wonderful experiences at Sunnys. Im not a huge fan of restaurants on Valentines day but the menu looked so delicious, we said lets not miss out on this special 5 course meal. Let me just say, the owner and her team know how to impress in every sense. The ambiance in there is always changing and its so romantic/chic. The music was a perfect playlist of chill lounge to compliment the mood. Our waitress was service with a smile, so sweet and attentive to us. The food was out of this world. We each chose a different choice on the menu so we got to try it all. The portions were perfect, the presentation was beautiful and the food was and is always served hot and fresh. 1 of my favorite restaurants because it deserves 5stars all around. They are so consistent in every visit and by far, the best steak I have ever had, cooked to perfection, every single time without fail!

They didnt have tonic water for drinks at 10pm. Its an older crowd. Dance floor is pretty small. The parking lot is big though.

Craptastic place. Visited for the first time with work colleagues for their anniversary night with Scarlett James. My food never came despite having ordered for nearly 2 hours. I pretended to enjoy the evening, drank lightly on an empty stomach, and left. Never again.

My wife and I usually go for supper and it is always very good!!! They decided to start serving Brunch and we decided to try it this morning, I couldn t have been more disappointed in a BRUNCH!!! The price is extremely high for powdered eggs (The only eggs available!), paper thin bacon that actually tastes like paper, dumplings in peanut butter sauce that were uncooked and cold!! The fruit selection was good but for $25 per person, you could buy a lot of fruit!!! If Sunny s wants to get paid for a high end brunch, there needs to be high end product available or stop serving brunch, you are ruining your name!!
Beef tartare really not good... too many capers and the meat was brown instead of raw... But the service was super good.

Great food and great service. Ideal for any type of event and I have to say the filet mignon is to die for. Personally my favorite is the Kelly smoked steak, wow nothing but perfect. I strongly recommend, great place.

We received a 25$ discount in the mail and decided to try it. The food was good. Service was pretty slow but the staff was really nice. It was just long waiting in between seeing them either for the food or water. I will go back there when the next 25$ discount comes back in the mail. But not without.

Great vibe for brunch, dinner and evening drinks, inside with the chic decor or on the cozy outdoor terasse. The food is excelent! Dance evenings can be really fun to get bumpin on the dancefloor. The crowd is rather older but this makes it a more refined experience. Definitely recomended if youre looking to spend great time in the Vaudreuil area.

Food was good, however the service was extremely slow. We were a group of roughly 15 people and waited over 30 minutes for dessert and over one hour for the check...to the point where most of us had our jackets on ready to leave by the time the waitress brought the check.
Great atmosphere. As we were in the last tables served, it was unpleasant to eat with the music too loud. The dinner was delicious. One of the best filet mignon Ive eaten.

good food, good ambiance but service was bad and super slow. They forgot stuff and took almost 1 hour to get our food in a empty restaurant.
If i could give zero stars i would we were group of six for birthday dinner took over hour and half to recieve our food i had to ask the waitress when the food was ready. Food was prepared well however my guests really disliked their meals. Very terrible service worst part is waitress actually asked for a 15% tip!? Ive been to the keg with dozen plus people and recieved our meals in half the time. Decent food terrible service not waitress fault but no reason for hour and half wait for a steak and some shrimp. My first and last time at sunnys. One of the worst dinner expériences ive ever had. What waitress actually asks for 15% tip!? Shes lucky she got any kind of tip from my group. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else my $200 bill wasnt worth the wait and ive never had waitress demand more of a tip for terrible service.

First time I went there. I loved my evening. We were a group of 15 people. Our server, Antoine, was a real gem! Fast and super nice. Came to refill my beer glass as soon as it was half empty. Crazy service! The classic burger was delicious! Super big burger and tasty. I was a little over the fries, I had a batch of small fries that were short and a little overcooked. But hey, its not the end of the world. Really nice restaurant!
The atmosphere is excellent, the service warm. The dishes are excellent. A little pricey, but you pay for what you get!

For our wedding we chose Sunnys as our caterer and it exceeded our expectations. The canapes and the 4-course meal were a pure delight and the service impeccable. Johanne the co-owner guided us through all our choices, sparkling wine for the cocktail, choice of the main meal, accompanying wines and table setting. Thank you Johanne, you helped make our day a perfect event that you knew how to lead with a masterful hand. I highly recommend Sunnys Caterer. Dont spend money
A big ZERO!! was there at 7pm food came at 10.30pm steak was blue not cooked, we were a group all was the same , we sent it back to the kitchen for it to only come back the exact same, hardly no vegetables at 11pm we still had no dessert ,we decided to leave took 15min waiting to find waitress , so 100$ down the drain with not even full course meal.....never going back there and apparently people told me they had the same experience. ....beware.
Probably one of the best filet mignon I have ever had! The beef was so juicy and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The service was fantastic and my birthday dinner was a success I will definitely come back here again.

Worst place ever, had a reservation and when I was there on time they told me that we gave your table to another one by mistake and I just have to wait five minutes, waited 30 minutes, when I showed the manager that we are upset, he mentioned « I M SORRY, I CAN T DO ANYTHING ».
