We’ve been in person a few years ago and had good experience but my review is based off the last 3 times we’ve ordered delivery. 1st time: we ordered delivery, we requested for a specific time, we got our order almost 1.5 hours later. Food was cold but we ate and it was fine. 2nd time: we ordered for my daughters birthday. We again requested for a specific time. It doesn’t show up. After many phone calls, the call centre got a manager to call me who reassured me it was coming and apologized. 30 minutes later the driver called me and said he was on his way, when I asked how far he was he said 10 minutes… I asked for his specific location and he tried to avoid answering. When he did answer, I knew there was no way it would be 10 minutes. He also told me the food had been in his car for over an hour. My daughter was starving and we ended up giving her toast. We told the driver to forget it. 3rd time: site says it’ll take 45 minutes, takes over an hour.. it’s Saturday evening fine, not a big deal. The food however was so terrible. We essentially paid 75$ to eat Cole slaw and bread. The chicken was so dry and not edible and burnt fries. If this was in restaurant, I would have complained to the server. At this point it’s our mistake to keep giving chances. We keep hoping it was a one off but with the cost to order food these days, we won’t be taking a gamble anymore. Disappointing bcuz we used to really enjoy our st Hubert nights!
I don't write reviews, but that club sandwich was sad. Tomatoes felt like they were a day old, and I had bones and cartilage within the chicken. I've never had bones in a club sandwich before...
St. Hubert is a delightful dining experience that truly stands out for its warm atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu offers a fantastic selection of rotisserie chicken that is perfectly seasoned and cooked to tender perfection. The sides, especially the coleslaw and fries, complement the main dishes wonderfully. What sets St. Hubert apart is its commitment to quality and consistency. Each visit feels familiar yet special, thanks to the friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The restaurant's cozy ambiance makes it a great spot for family gatherings or casual outings with friends. Overall, St. Hubert is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious comfort food in a welcoming environment. Highly recommend!
I can understand that everyone is trying really hard to cut off costs, so that the top tier can get another $500K bonus at the end of the year, so that they can buy a bigger boat, or a better car for their mistress... But, seriously, guys... It's just embarrassing! You call that a wing? No questions about the serving staff! Those guys make the most out of what they have available. It's clear that the greed comes from the top! And for this reason only: "Smoke your own ribs, you greedy a$$h0!es"! There's much more I'd like to say about the CORP, but., feck'em... I hope they find peace in their expensive coffee 'ns. What goes around, comes around.
I took half chicken indien style ! Fries were cold and told server and he changed them! Chicken was not fresh and not well cooked. Very disappointing meal for the price ! The waiter service was good tough that’s the only positive thing.
Best location to stop on the way back to Toronto. Kid friendly options. Lunch deals are good as well.
I love their Pri Pri chicken & spicy 🌶 sauce; so good!! Love their sweet potato fries and hot vanilla cake with caramel sauce! Amazing desserts!! Excellent service!
We stopped there for a late lunch on our way from Montreal to Toronto. We chose St Hubert because we don't have it any more in Toronto. The place is empty and the three of us were quickly seated in a cubicle. The server speaks English very well. We ordered a half rotisserie chicken with the fries upgraded to poutine, a rotisserie chicken leg, and a half rack of ribs. The rotisserie chicken was superb, just like we remembered long time ago. The ribs were OK, but we have had better ribs elsewhere. The poutine was very good. We had a nice lunch here.
Food is good but the service is horrendous.
I ordered two club sandwiches I only had a coleslaw which was not the one I had ordered the sauce tasted like water and lets just say that the fries were not in abundance on each of the plates if I could give zero stars I will
Badly made toasted club bread loses customers
I visited you Monday evening at 5:20 p.m. on November 11, 2024 and I had to wait at the car service for 15 minutes before being answered even though there was no other vehicle before me, plus a $6 promotion add drinks and salad displaying on the notice board and the staff refused to give me the promotion, because he couldnt find in the computer or press and inventing that the promotion was only for days not evenings with classic meal only what the display did not indicate at all even written on the display with any meal without display of hours. The staff went out to look at the promotion and continued to deny the promotion even though it was displayed on 2 of the 6 display boards and offered me another different meal that I didnt want... I wasted 30 minutes there to finally go eat the same thing cheaper and better at Bennys in Pincourt and thats what I will also do in the future given your incompetent, lying staff and your shitty service.....
Super happy with my service! Always a pleasure to be served by Samuel! Much recommend
I ordered 3 times from them, the first time a sauce was missing (gravy), the second time the chicken was overcooked and lasted like a piece of wood and the 3rd time the fries were so burnt I dont know how the world manages to sell food that is not good. Well its over for me, Im not ordering it anymore. Good luck
We went to eat good chicken at your restaurant, we thought, being good customers of St-Hubert, but we had to resign ourselves to sorting out Lloris red flesh that had been served to us. It seems that the customers ate it without any complaints. Very high bill for fries and salad. Yes I should have taken a photo!!!
Thank you Stephany for the beautiful service! 10/10 excellent!
Super service!
Very good service and delicious, always pleasant thanks to our server Samuel!
Stopped on our trip home from QC. Never a disappointing decision.
I made a small stop on my way to BelleVille I was very hungry and the food at St did the trick. A very large dish than I ordered, in addition to the sauce, which was very tasty. I went on a weekday, it was very quiet and I didnt have to wait. The attendant was super helpful and served us very well. The environment is very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. Parking outside is quite ample. Unfortunately, I was low on battery and I only took a few photos
Super St-Hubert in the area. The service is always excellent, the food seems fresh, well cooked and always tasty. Recent price increases make meals slightly more expensive... but St-Hubert poutine still remains a classic!
Very good service
I liked my steak. Good service.
Phone call harassing me. Called about 9 times in 2 days, and no, I never ordered from here. But it seems that your employees like to harass people. Stop calling me, for the last time.
Servant was very professional. Food was great.
Great service and great food! THANKS!
Everything was beyond perfect
Nachos too little for $18!, overcooked and all stuck to the paper, St-Hubert bowl with overcooked chicken, overfried fish breading. No positive recommendation for us... And finally, the toilets were not clean - strong smell of urine.
Everything is correct, the only negative point is the background music which I find a little loud.
The restaurant is not clean and avoid the bathrooms which are dirty and smelly. The service is slow, the chicken extremely fatty. And to make matters worse, we had a table neighbor who was on a conference call at the top of his voice throughout the meal! In short, the worst St Hubert ever!
When going into Quebec this is your first stop. The chicken is amazing! Puts on routes and any Ontario fast food place to shame
When delivered, something is missing half the time. I have never seen a restaurant make so many mistakes in my entire life. Sometimes I feel like theyre doing it on purpose, its so common!
Great place to bring your kids. The host and server were super inviting and friendly. Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for the kids to play in while you wait for the food.
We have eaten at this restaurant before, approximately 8 months ago, and weve had no issue. In fact, we stopped two previous times at this restaurant and had no issue. We are traveling through from Toronto because our daughter is at school in Montreal. Today, May 2nd, we stopped on our way into Montreal. We should have, perhaps, looked at the parking lot that was nearly empty and decided not to go, but we did anyway. The fellow who greeted us was very pleasant. He asked us if we wanted to sit at a booth. We did. There were hardly any patrons in the restaurant. We sat at one of their larger circular booths so it was not hard to see us. A waitress came and put something into a machine behind us, ignored us, continued to walk around and ignore us. She went and had a very long conversation with what would appear to be regulars. Ww were virtually next to them and, yet, she continued to ignore us. I, finally, had to get up, after many minutes, to go and ask the gentleman at the reception if there was a server available to serve our table. She eventually came, but she kind of came begrudgingly. My husband and my daughter ordered the seasonal vegetables which included broccoli and it is the first time in our lives we have ever seen burnt broccoli. Needless to say, we have to come through to Montreal on Highway 20 again, at some point in the future, and we will not be stopping at the restaurant again. The service, the food, the atmosphere was poor. Oh, and the bathrooms smelt to high heaven and its not what one would think. Its obviously sewer problems or water problems, I dont know, but it stinks to high heaven. Whoever is managing this restaurant needs to get their act together, otherwise this is going to fold. It has everything to do with poor management and leadership ..expectations and lack of customer concern. That is fixable
The rotisserie chicken skewers with piri piri seasoning was tasty. The outside looked fast food, but it appeared high end once inside. The St. Hubert Poutine was enjoyed by my companions, but it was really heavy on cheese.
Errors on 2 of the four meals ordered and in addition the girl on the phone argued with us. In addition to the errors, the sauces were missing but we had like 15 envelopes of Mayo...and the chicken in the salads tasted like the one from the day before...
EVERYTHING was perfect!
We stopped for dinner on April 19, 24 even though the parking lot was almost full. Surprisingly there was no line and we were assigned to a table immediately. The waiter came quickly and we mentioned to him that we were in a hurry. So we were served quickly and he was very attentive and didnt leave us waiting. Thanks to our server Tristan!
Warm welcome
A classic. The menu evolves, the bottom remains the same.
Follow my comment above with a service from ..St Hubert THANK YOU BENNY Loan $30 less
Diluted and tasteless cream of chicken... Overcooked chicken parmigiana, burned underneath, served on pasta that is too al dente, cold and poorly seasoned piri piri sauce.
Total lack of respect towards customers, lie after lie, I made a delivery request which did not arrive on time and when I say late it is 30 minutes after the 30 minutes that he had told me, after which I decides to make a complaint I ask for the manager and the person in question tells me thats what hes there for with complaints I explain whats going on he puts me on hold because hes not the manager but what is that kind of management???
Honestly weve been St Hubert customers for years. And in years past I may have posted good feedback. But something is very wrong at the St-Hubert in Dorion lately. Im not sure who (if anyone) manages it. But we had a bad experience, they gave us a $15 credit. We decided to use the credit and order again. In 45 minutes our order showed up without half of the chicken. (Order was for 4 people, we received for 2 people) 2 hours later they have still not been delivered the other 2 meals after numerous calls to customer service. Im hoping that they dont screw up every order but this is the 2nd time (and last) time. I do think its this location that is the problem.
Great experience celebrating my grandmothers 80th birthday. We enjoyed the privacy of the room. Friendly staff. Good service. Delicious food. Vegetarian options: New veggie burger is good.
My family and I came in for an early dinner, just after 4:30pm. We walked in and saw 4 staff at a table talking in the bar area. I walked I further to see if anyone could see me. I saw 2 others in the dinning room. As we waited to be greeted by anybody, we saw someone from the kitchen look at us then at the staff room the bar area then at us. After waiting longer with no one saying anything to us we decided to leave. It would have been nice if some said we will be with you in a minute or something. unfortunately I saw 7 people and no one said anything.
Our dinner made me want to come back to eat at St-Hubert! Impeccable service and repad!
Way too expensive for two club sandwiches! Couples dinner on April 5, 2024. A white meat club sandwich for my wife at $19.70 and dark meat for me at $18.20. Total of $43.58 with taxes. We were served by Christina. Its crazy paying $50.00 for two clubs with the tip! We had the same thing on April 9, 2023 except that it was two dark meats and we promised ourselves not to come back. We must believe that memory is a faculty that forgets.....We offer you two photos, one of which is a descriptive receipt for our order. Review written on April 19, 2024 in Salaberry de Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada. _____________________________________ Two dark meat clubs Dinner as a couple on April 9, 2023. We took two dark meat clubs at $17.50 each for a total of $40.24 with taxes which really became too expensive for us even if the salad is unlimited. We were served by Selena and we tipped her $7.25. Its really not a good economic deal to eat at St-Hubert. We offer you the two receipts and our two meals as photos. P.S.: We were there again on April 5, 2024 with an order similar to that of April 9, 2023. You have to believe that it took us two visits to understand..... Review written on May 4, 2023 in Salaberry de Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada.
Dont bother to make a reservation. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. When we go to the restaurant (on time) they yold use that they had give the table to an other party. So 15 people all crammed in a tiny corner. This was not ideal.
We arrived at 7pm on a Friday and were seated in the bar area. It was approx half full. We ordered our drinks, meals and coleslaw right away. After 25 minutes, we still didn t have our drinks or coleslaw. We got up and told the server that we were leaving and to cancel our order. She didn t even say sorry.
Dietary restrictions: Listening Kid-friendliness: Games room
First time trying this branch, and certainly the last! As one of the reviews below, poutine looked reheated, tasted off. Watery sauce. Definitely not worth the extra. Chicken fingers way overcooked.. My Gf got a salad, hard to mess that up thankfully. Benny it is from now on
Vegetarian options: There normal sauce has fat but they have a great list of vegetarian items Food
I was wondering why the ratings were so bad for this place. Easy to see why. Food was so underwhelming. They couldnt even bother to heat up the microwave bacon on the burger. I love St Hubert but this location clearly puts 0 passion into what they do
St Hubert is not what it used to be. The decor is very pretty, the service is adequate and the prices have risen in recent years. The creamy coleslaw doesnt taste the same as it did back then, but the brown sauce remains pretty much the same. Its sure that its not a big 5-star restaurant but it still cost me $90 for two adults, a starter, two drinks (glass of wine and beer), twice a brisket meal and a dessert (tip included). ) I still give 4 stars because its equivalent to what you find elsewhere. It seems to me that the magic of yesteryear is missing.
Went to pickup a pickup order, no one acknowledged us when we arrived, employee at cash instead decided to keep doing inventory, I tried to get the attention of a young female employee at the back but she and 3 other young male employees at the back turned away and they were all eating the Zoo nuggets they sell (don t like people packing my food having their hands in their mouths). Then an older male employee I tried to ask for my order from who passed by the cash looked and me then kept walking. Finally decided to use the bell and then the cashier doing inventory looked back at us, finished doing more inventory then came to finally talk with us. By time I got my pickup order the food was cold. Don t understand how so many employees can be there, acknowledge you are trying to get their attention then purposefully ignore you.
I had my office party there just wow
The lunch was cold. The chicken thighs were not cooked.
Bad quality , slow service, food was raw , not cooked well, and it was cold We waited almost 15 min for the bill and another 10 min for the machine to make a payment Food price in comparison with the quality and quantity was not reasonable Its expensive but awful
Delicious!
I had the club burger. It was terrible!
On the 29th of December I ordered chicken breast with a Poutine (creamy coleslaw). Once I tried a bit of everything I had to stop eating this meal. 1) The chicken was dry as an old shoe 2) The Poutine was so compacted that my best guess is the Poutine is a couple days old and just warmed up 3) the coleslaw must have been in their refrigerator way before Christmas. With this experience, I will never ever buy from this restaurant chain again. I would have not even given one star, I would rather give a - 10. It is very disappointing and disgusting that they are selling these products for delivery. Whom you can trust??
I love this restaurant, Ive been going there since I was very young, the food is always well done, the waiters are always polite and courteous. This restaurant has been a part of this town for many years, and its here to stay!
I love piri piri brisket! Very clean restaurant.
Dont go there anymore! Non-existent service although the waitress does her best, the plates just dont come out, there are fruit flies without common sense! The furnishings are just rotting! Missing tiles on the ceiling above us. 2h30 before receiving the main course! Its really not worth the price.
good food great lunch special. nice staff
Great portion size, fast and friendly service. Location wasnt too busy and had lots of parking.
We went to pick up an order to bring. Order on the site and its very fast.
Wasnt a great experience. Had no food, didnt mention it when making reservations, didnt advise us when we got there either. I understand based off the recent ice storm, no problem. Had it been mentioned when we got there hey, were running low on X,Y,Z and cant guarantee well have what you want No problem, we would have turned around and left. Reservations at 6:00 pm. Got whatever they did have that the table was able to order at 7:30 pm. Meanwhile, another table got seated around 7:20 pm, and by 7:45 they had their food. What magically changed that one table could be served in under 30, while the other waited 3 times as long. And upon expressing why it wasnt great, the management was condescending in their answers. Then magically they seemed to feel bad and tried to save face, unfortunately, had things been done right from the get go, no issues would have arised, as mentioned, would have just gone elsewhere. Felt like the only reason it wasnt said, was to make a sale cause the table was a decent size. Happy Easter 2023.
Good. Not usually busy.
St. Hubert has increased its menu I loved the fried chicken, really good when you need a little sweetness and this treat St. Hubert is on par
Great waitress ,she is an aspiring actress and extremely nice. The latest time was fine ,but so expensive !
A little expensive but good place for parties
I order a burger, do I get a brisket?
Hearty meal and good taste
Fast service
The service and food were excellent but something was missing....
Good chicken. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Kids play area. Very nice.
Very good value for money, fast and very courteous service.
5.30 Sunday evening no more chicken he tells me if I want to wait 20 minutes for a chicken skewer to be cooked I was at Bennys on a Sunday evening 5.30?
More expensive than before!
The lArdoise theme is very cool. Nice they have a local craft/Artisinal beer, Birra Fanelli. Goes great with the atmosphere. Ribs were too dry, outside chewy. Too many tasteless croutons on caesar salad. Grilled veggies were good. Coffee was good. Pleasant staff. Food
We stop at st Hubert in dorion the food and the service was very fast and very friendly The only thing is the price is way above the average , this is is not a good value for the $ And we can tell , for a Friday night diner the restaurant was almost empty I remember when the price was more in line with there valus the restaurant was always pack
First time Ive been disappointed with a St-Hubert restaurant.
Order for delivery. We did not receive one of the meals ordered. When we called to let them know, they offered to deliver it free of charge (I hope!!). 1 hour later, still not received!! Additionally, one of the plates received, the food was cooked in hall frying oil! Inedible!! Truly terrible experience.
A little long before having the meal and consumption
Wheelchair accessibility: Stationnement pour handicapés pas assez large. Food
Its a St-Hubert. The service was good and the food was standard at St-Hubert.
Good service gives food
Every single time i try to order on uber eats they cancel my order 30m later. Will never order or eat here again.
Awesome staff. The food was out fast and hot. The gentleman checked on us to see if everything was good. Store was very clean. Food
Celebrate 70 birthday to one of our friends. The chicken was coleslaw potato and sauce and soft drinks how much you want coleslaw and sauce. Every body enjoyed.
Does not fly in the wind. Monday evening waitress she wants big tips which are at the discretion of the customers, uncooked chicken, I do not recommend. Nathalie savage
Kid-friendliness: Our server was wonderful in dealing with our toddlers Food
The service was very long. However, there werent many people in the restaurant and we waited a good 45 minutes before receiving the childrens meal and ours 10 minutes later. I ordered poutine and the fries were cold. The waitress also took a long time to bring us the bill. I expected more. Vegetarian options: There are several vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Parking: The parking lot surrounds the restaurant. There are plenty of places. Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for children. My nephew and niece had a lot of fun.
3 meals including a salad, drive-thru...a Saturday evening that wasnt too busy. 20m wait in front of the window for a salad! After having had our meals, we set off again and stopped along the way to eat in the car, we had a lot of driving to do that evening...no fork, no salt, no paper towel. everything....nothing!!! Ordering from the car = eating in the car for the majority of people....and to say that we dare to put a pot on the edge of the window for the tip and that we specify that we must respond to the question of tipping when paying with the credit card.... tipping is for tipped employees who provide a service and not in anticipation of the service to come!!! I will go elsewhere next time and probably not a St-Hubert.
If you have an electric car never go there to charge it getting your meal or if you are just need to boost your battery. You will meet a selfish employee who will start to mock on you because you are trying to save the society as his opinion and if don t like you can go to police station not fare from the store because he take the place for electric cars for himself, and if you complain to the manager in charge she will Moke on you as well, very bad experience will never go this store again.
Always a pleasure to eat at St-Hubert Parking: Lots of room
The floors were as sticky as a movie theater and the table as well. I wish I was exaggerating, but it was disgusting. My fiance has 3 hairs in his fries and the coleslaw was awful. I didnt finish my food I just wanted to get out fast!!
I found 2 strands of hair in my food this restaurant just felt dirty and it was. Sad to say I wont be eating at this location anymore
Expensive, service professional
I was eaten yesterday, and I was very satisfied with the service. There was a little problem with my plate (not anyones fault) and we managed it very efficiently. The service was impeccable and the server was super nice. Thank you very much for the excellent service.
I went there for dinner at the end of August with 2 friends, 2 of us ordered a chicken leg, the leg was so dry, chicken reheated from the day before. We mentioned this to the waiter and he said he would notify the kitchen. This inedible leg cost me the price of 2 large whole chickens from Costco. I will never return to this St-Hubert again. I will continue to go to Bennys, less expensive and ALWAYS excellent. The service, however, was excellent.
ilove this place,,,,
ROTTEN ordering service, if you dont have internet you cant order by phone at St-hubert Dorion...
Right as it opened on Sunday we gave this server a table of 9... they provided the best service food and atmosphere a big group can ask for ! Loved every minute of it
A Monday evening! A service of our plates remained on the table no one to clear and there were not many people in the restaurant. The cuisine is not famous and the nachos are not very good.
Good portions. Courteous service.
Saturday September 30: Steak overcooked, vegetables not available, mashed potatoes not available, pudding chômeur not cooked enough. However, we have reserved for 20 people for 2 weeks.
Our server Samuel was amazing! Best service we ve ever had at a St Hubert. Food was very hot, really happy with our experience. Had a small issue, fixed in under 2 minutes, really amazing staff. Appreciate it. Merci!
I went to eat there today with my 7 yr old son and we received great and courteous service from our waiter. Didnt catch his name but he was a younger guy, maybe early 20s. My ribs were quite good as well.
This is for my American friends if you make it to Canada you have to try out their chicken, ribs and the St-Hubert sauce...yum We ordered one meal and shared it.
Twice in a row my order was taken away incorrectly and how can I check before leaving given how everything is packaged. 1) I am not receiving what is on my bill at all 2) I phone, they dont offer to replace this meal with the one I paid for, they offer to have a portion of fries delivered to me in the evening (???) or to give me a credit. 4) I chose to take credit and leave it at that. 5) I see that I was refunded $5.75 on a bill of almost $100 ????? The St Hubert experience is quite exceptional. The customer service by email is just as bad. A chance for the consumer that we have alternatives nearby. Not ready to set foot there again.
St-Hubert is unrecognizable. I have been ordering from the drive-thru for several years.. it was always delicious..... ..unfortunately the meals have been deteriorating for 2 years... On my last order...the fries were overcooked and cold.. .. it was hard as iron lol ..... plus I asked for 2 creamy salads and I received 2 traditional salads ... hehe .... anyway as much in Vaudreuil as Dorion its is over for me. Thank you good night.
I went to the drive-thru with my wife yesterday around 5:45 p.m., after waiting 30 minutes for the Pickup in front of me to leave with his order, I arrived at the window, the clerk made me pay for my order and asked me to pull myself to the side and then come and carry my order after 5 minutes, then arrived home we unpacked the order to realize that everything was cold and disgusting, the chicken, the fries, the sauce... Afterwards we ate something else because we werent in the mood to return the order. We dont think well ever return to St-Hubert de Dorion, the experience has left us cold, especially given the price of the food now. We have been to the drive thru at this location many times and the food was passable, now that is not the case and we are so disappointed with the service.
Asked the server 3 times for mayo for my fries, she forgot. Chicken noodles soup in table dhôte was a bouillon with no chicken and only a few noodles. The size of the cheesecake is ridiculously small. 48$ for a very disappointing meal. Tasteless food. Tiny cup of sauce for the chicken. Bad service. No thank you!
A family favorite, always fast and pleasant service, I would recommend St. Hubert. Fair priced!
Nice friendly staff, food was great. Our server (Tristan?) was so nice and friendly with my 4 year old. Will be back
Always come here when I visit Montreal. My favourite place for food. I always get a different server but they are all equally professional and skilled. The cooks are talented as hell!
Good chicken
After looking for 3 locations that were surprisingly closed at noon (even though the note on the door said they should be) we finally found this place. Excitedly, we sat down and were initially surprised that the prices were so high, but excused it given our expectations and previous experience with your packaged ribs. The waiter was nice, but the food arrived and it was disgusting. Not only were the fries and chicken thigh bland and tasteless, but there were also bits of cartridge in the soup and in my mothers sandwich. The chicken thigh looked and tasted disgusting and when the waitress kindly came back to ask about our experience, I had explained the situation and that I didnt want to eat it. She apologized and asked me what I was looking for. She offered a discount, but my proposal was to pay for the soup I ate, the drinks and my mothers meal she ate, and deduct the price of the thigh and fries portion from the price. If the price hadnt been so high ($20), I would have considered letting it go, but for this price, I hope you agree that it must be good food and that it doesnt have makes the difference. After waiting 20 minutes for the manager (and chef?) she asked what the problem was and after explaining again what I had already said to the waitress she responded bluntly and repeatedly with nonchalance that you have to pay, its not our fault you dont like it, I checked the temperature of my grill. It was annoying because it was a more than fair offer to only deduct the price of the main course, but she didnt care. She didnt offer any sort of reward to the point where the waitress looked equally disappointed for us and apologized sincerely. We tipped the waitress because it wasnt her fault. Another unpleasant thing was that the manager made us switch to English. My mother is English, but I have lived in France for years. By all accounts, my French is good. I had no problems during the entire trip to Quebec up to this point. Overall we left very unsatisfied and it didnt set up our 6 hour drive very well as it was supposed to. I think you should know that the managers name is Laurie and that is not acceptable. When we got home I spent the time to write to the head office and they apologized. They relayed the information to those in charge there and told us they would be able to help us further. they tried to call and then left an email asking when would be a good time to call. I responded saying I would be at work and the best option would be to talk to my mother who was also there. I gave him my mothers number and a time and there was never a response except the same question in another email.
Charles in the take out was super friendly and helpful
full as a potato
GOOD
No trip to LA Belle Province is complete without a quick stop at one of these iconic Quebec locations. We lucked out and found one conveniently located on our way home and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Could not eat demi-poulet. Too pink. Looked undercooked to us. Staff said no, but we didnt eat it. And were billed for it.
Always great food. Our server was friendly and efficient. Great portions so we brought extras home.
Good service, the lunch was tasty; but dessert something to improve
Ive been to this restaurant twice now and Im honestly disappointed! Yesterday there was no more chicken, its incredible! I had a sandwich whose breast was over fried (already ready for a long time and put back in the fryer to reheat) the sauce and the fries were cold. Luckily the server was great, but honestly this branch puts the St-Hubert franchises to shame.
Cooking is his check there
Last visit for dinner with impeccable service and waiter. Speed and good time were there!
Our waitress advised us that it was going to be slow. They were short staffed. We were a party of 9 people. However, our service was amazingly fast. Didnt even noticed that it was slow. Too bad I cant remember her name. But she was friendly and fast. The only reason it got a 4 star is the washroom. Because they were short staff, it was not clean. But their service was great!!! Food was pretty good as always.
Super service
We arrived around 3:00 p.m. (today Saturday July 23) a group of 25 after a funeral service without reservation, the waitress who welcomed us explained to us that she was alone, that there was only one person working in kitchen, your service was a little longer than normal. we told her no problem for us, there is another girl who comes to see us who tells us we cant serve you, that there is no one to welcome a group without reservation and she invites us to leave, I ask her her name she doesnt answer me she enters the kitchen I open the door, I ask her name again she still doesnt answer me, the waitress who welcomed us is there and its She gave me her name Frédérique Bédard. Message to the owner with the difficult times you have experienced with covid-19, well with employees like Mrs. Frédérique Bédard times will remain difficult. P.S. dear owner, Im not sure I got the real name of this lady Please I hope you can trace who is working on this shift (Saturday July 23, 2022 around 3:00 p.m.)
Weve been here a few times and always found the restaurant to be very welcoming. Prices are affordable, good menu selection, modern interior and professional staff. Very similar to the other location on St-Charles.
Dont be told that at 8:55 p.m. youll be kicked out until 9 p.m. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and only got our meal at 8:30 a.m. The service was extremely long. Wheelchair accessibility: A door threshold to cross with assistance for someone in a manual wheelchair. The door is not automatic and heavy. Reserved parking near the door.
Great service! Food was good as well.
Excellent service! Best manager in the world
Super service !!
Regarding the event criticized by Mr. Alain Deschênes on Saturday, July 23, 2022 between 3:00 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. Mr. Alain Deschênes, I am very surprised by the interpretation of your experience about which you allow yourself to rant against an employee of the St-Hubert Harwood-Dorion. I was just about to enter the restaurant when your group of around thirty people preceded me. Even though you were told you couldnt serve a group like yours WITHOUT RESERVATION, you persisted in storming the restaurant UNTIL 3:30 p.m. i.e. around 30 minutes. It looked like a seat worthy of Vladimir Putin. I wondered if anyone was going to get slapped because the atmosphere was so MALICIOUS and ANGER. But I was very scared when you RUNNING after a lady into the kitchen shouting at her in FURY What s your name? » repeatedly. Your vocabulary was no match for the episcopal crucifix carried by a member of your group. You have stormed a fort defended by two ladies: TO CONQUER WITHOUT PERIL WE TRIUMPH WITHOUT GLORY! Finally, I cant find a single reason why the cook would have given you her name: do you think youre the police? I SAW AND I TESTIFY TO WHAT I SAW AND HEARD.
Wrong order that was delivered. Ribs with sweet potato fries ordered but we got regular fries. I paid an extra $5.00 to get sweet potatoes. If possible have a credit for the next order. Meal was still good, as usual. Fast delivery, courteous deliveryman. Satisfaction of 3 to 5 stars, following the excellent customer service of St-Hubert. Very good communication in order to offer me their apologies and to ensure that this does not happen again.
My server was Tristan and his service was exceptional thanks to him we will want to come back
Great service. Thank you Kalina for the excellent service and the beautiful smile.
Delicious, healthy and well priced. But best of all, our server, Louis, was fantastic; patient, informative, responsive, knowledgeable, and over all a very pleasant person.
Service was good
GOOD.
Very expensive for a chicken restaurant
Excellent service from Kalina.
We order the famous chicken and ribs for lunch. The servers are nice and very friendly. Parking: There are around a dozen slots.
Great service with a wonderful attitude. Made us feel at home.
Server seemed lost that evening
It was ok. There was a misunderstanding with the order a few times. We got white meat and it was pretty dry even though we asked for dark. The creamy cole slaw wasnt very creamy. Anyway we were just passing through, I doubt well stop here again.
Great location, serve generous dishes and not greedy on the price. I RECOMMEND this location
My French fries was dirty!!!!
For being the best chicken in quebec. Its not that great. I got the piri piri chicken leg. Its quite expensive for 1 piece of chicken. It was dry but the really thin chicken sauce and piri piri sauce helped abit. I say thin chicken sauce because im used to gravy so its thicker this was more of chicken au jus. We got the cream of chicken soup. It tastes like celery and the chunk of chicken they put in there is bland. Needed salt and pepper. Putting the crushed saltine cracker in the soup helped with the lack of flavour. The fries were good. The bread was unnecessary. I got dessert which was the limited time only apple blossom thing. The pastry was undercooked so it was gooey and soggy. I only ate the cinnamon apple on the inside. Drinks were supposed to be free refill but its hard to flag someone down to refill it. Overall its not worth the hype that i heard all around quebec
Quality control at this restaurant, for delivered orders at least, is poor! There were errors with our last THREE orders: missing bread and sauces for one, missing leg for the other and yesterday, to top it all off, leg and ribs meal which arrived WITHOUT the ribs. They were delivered TWO HOURS after the initial order, barely lukewarm. For a meal billed at $25.99, thats seriously HARD!!!! I spent almost $70.00 at this restaurant for a meal that was ultimately RUINED, because who wants to wait two hours to eat what they ordered in good faith??! Seriously, I keep ordering from this location because there are no other decent options in the area, otherwise it would be BYE BYE St-Hubert!! **Regarding your response: I contacted customer service and was told that my complaint would be sent to the restaurant and then someone would call me. No call received yet. ***10 days since the incident, and still no call from the restaurant. I have written to the email address twice and they keep telling me that someone will call me.
We have not been for over 3 years so our visit had a certain nostalgic feeling. The meal was predictable, tasted the same as we remember it. The coleslaw seemed to have lost some of its taste though, beside that it was not impressive but it filled the stomach and was not bad. I think we will not be back for another 3 years.
Very bad experience. We ordered ahead of time on the web as we rolled down the Autoroute. We set the time at 4:15 and i walked in for pickup at 4:18. Half my order was ready. I waited, and waited... About 20 minutes later the second half of my order showed up. I got out to the car and distributed the meals. I opened my own and found stone cold poutine. This defeats the entire point of poutine. I have no idea why I had to wait for cold food. I actually went back and asked for a refund on the poutine. The team at St.-Hubert, was interested enough to let me see them dump the poutine in the trash and gave me back $3.50, the cost of the poutine upgrade ignoring the tax and the whole entire unpleasantness of a froid poutine. If there is one thing they should know how to get right...
Try a new meal, a melting brie. The plate is full of flavor, the taste is special and the accompanying bread adds the extra touch that enhances this meal.
This is a good place with a mid range price. Everything for more expensive post COVID so this is no way exception. But for a family dinner, this is still my go-to place.
When you call the general number and we are limited to hanging up on you, telling you that your restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, we dont divert you to the other one which is the same distance to the east... quite rough service. Its going to take a while before I get back to St-Hubert. Politeness and courtesy are not an option. It smells of decline.
Good stuff and friendly people
Excellent
