Food isn’t good. It isn’t worth 37$ much least that same price again for a child. Just drive out of town, your bound o get something way better for the money. Horrible!!!!
Had a wonderful time. Food was good. Loved sweet and sour pork. No line up.Didnt have dessert.
The food is very good. I think it could be better because it seems like the people from the room are always mad. Maybe, but it is not to blame on the people who go to eat. There's some ways to be gentle with the people who don't know that must wait their food to go, seating on the waiting room and not in the dinner room. That's all. But any way, I still buy their food.
We used to order food here but today it was the worst experience, we ordered beef with broccoli and we receive ONLY BROCOLLI, we ordered chow mein with shrimp and pork...and it was also just noodles and BROCOLLI... AFTER PAYING 112$ THIS IS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO A SCAM...NEVER AGAIN!
Really bad experience today! Food was almost a vegetarian experience. We ordered "meet with broccoli" and we got broccoli with 5 meet pieces.... same with noodles...shame of you! You lost a good clients from my home!
Decent food. Good choices. Prices are ok. Service was great.
Good selections of food and good prices, the places could use a remodeling tho but we love to go there 😁
For the locals, this restaurant location goes back decades. Its had a management change when the original owner passed away. The restaurant still offers your 1980's quality dishes and portions. It has a small buffet and I found the price for it a wee bit high - though they do offer small sized crab legs in their all you can eat buffet. So here's what I felt on this visit. Their meats were tender and quite good, flavours were good and tasty and their egg rolls were really full and plump and VERY good. Their down side were their soups on this day and tasted watered down and weak in flavour. I'd say the food tasted OK and wasn't bad but I'd stop their as Not Bad. We did try their buffet on another visit, and the trays were refreshed very often and their were about 30-40 patrons in different sections.
Excellent food, excellent service, very nice staff, just missing a little atmosphere. But
Still so good
Very good and affordable Parking: Very large parking lot Kid-friendliness: Yes very good for children
It was very good but much too expensive the buffet for two 67.00 it was not full rather empty no line
Buffet... Nothing extraordinary
Pretty decent for the price
Trip to unsanitary restaurant
Great variety of food.
Its been years since Ive been there... I will never go back there again. I was there on a Saturday evening, the food is extremely bad. You only eat oil and fat, its abominable. I wasnt able to eat anything because it was so greasy and full of oil. Dont go spending your money there, frankly, its bad. Plus the service is really bad. Also way too expensive for what it is.
Food was alright but not the same as when I was young!
For an inexpensive meal it does the trick. Lots of diversity despite the phenomenal presence of fried food. The desserts are not made on site so you have to expect low-end, dry and not very tasty. The service was impeccable. Glass of water always filled (and in fact it had no aftertaste and was served with ice) and plates cleared very quickly. The toilets were disgusting. The floor is all sticky, there are hairs on the toilet (luckily I always carry soap with me!), there is some waste, the dryer is old and doesnt dry at all.
Lots of cold stuff and the egg roll was cold and a little sour, I just felt like throwing up. The dry ribs, the boiled broccoli, the general tao, the beef was ribbed and dry. I dont have a dessert price thats too close to throwing up. I was at twelve thirty and I wouldnt go back, no choice. We would have said that we would spend the remainder of Sunday. Im disappointed it was better and especially better before.
Excellent place for lunch and supper.
Good variety buffet. Good service
Love eating there, foods are great
Expensive
Mark that on Mondays it is open for take outs I go to the restaurant and there is a large poster marking open but the doors are barred
Take out
It was an okay experience. It was quiet. The lady there is very nice. Theres not much food option but still better than the buffet we had in montreal Chinatown.
I like this Chinese rest the soup the noodles its firm the salmon and shrimp wonderful everything is good I brought friends to eat and since then its their restaurant also we eat very well AND the people who serve you at the table Alright Vegetarian options: Lots of choice even for veggies Parking: Lots of room to park
Nice selection, Friday evening. It was early, and the temperature of the food was lukewarm (stove not strong enough or not turned on early enough). Its good but not spicy enough (general tao mild). Renovations would not be a luxury.
Ordinary buffet some lukewarm dishes better to go at the beginning of the Buffet..old restaurant Parking: In mass parking
This is the first time I went to this restaurant and I really liked the food was good and the service was good
2 hours of waiting for delivery, to receive an incomplete order and they do nothing to repair their errors, I even had to persist for a credit for the missing items. And this problem seems more and more widespread, they dont care about our satisfaction, they just want your money at the expense of seeing you again.
Simply delicious
Food is decent but the woman on the phone is incredibly rude
Get there at 11:45.Food is fresh.Great service!!Gary will take of your needs.Very fast!Only complaint is the food is a bit too salty
Do not order takeout from this restaurant. The food is dry dish shrimp is not cleaned or cultured. The eggrolls were over cooked so when you order over the phone whatever is sitting in the Buffay is what you re going to eat the price is way over priced and the restaurant kitchen is full of cockroaches.
Wowww first time ever I love everything
The toilets are not clean at all as far as the food is concerned but cleaning the place wouldnt hurt
Oh yes...wei wah for the win
Very good food with good spicy flavors. Charges at dinner time. Several choices of shrimp. Excellent breaded fish. Good friendly service. Having worked in Chinese buffets for several years, I recommend this place...
Had a very nice dinner here lots of variety and enjoyed the ice cream as well
Great and number one service. I loved my dinner and the atmosphere. Very clean and easy and free parking. Enjoy your food Parking: Super good service thank you
I always order super good thanks to your team
Not the nicest atmosphere, but the food was ok for an asian style buffet.
Ill only ever know this place as Win Wah, Ive gone to it for decades and although majority of the food is a variety of brown, its the damn best brown you can eat.
Super great and fast service. Friendly and quick to answer any questions. Ive been here many years ago and honestly it has not changed a bit. The food is the same as befor which is where this place lacks. The dish verity is okay, though many of them are the same three vegetables with different type of noodles. They could use more seasoning then just soy sauce. Their General Tao/orange chicken is the star of the buffet, that and their egg rolls. The rest is a mess of starchy noodles and rice or fried goods. This is all a shame as I love this place and would love to see them stay in business. A bigger vegetable variety could be a good start, but mostly, they could start implementing traditional Chinese food, like real chow mein, baos and siu mai or different dumplings. Seeing how authentic Indian food is growing in popularity this place could use some of that fresh authentic delicacy. This place needs to shed its America Chinese food and be its true self.
Food has become Positively Horrible!!
Best Chinese buffet thats close to where I live!
Went there last night 28$ per person food was cold not fresh use to go there for the shrimp and it was cold the chicken was cold and tastes horrible. Soup was not good either. All the food was cold and I had half a plate and didnt finish. I was very disappointed 66$ for cold food.. this place use to be the best.
Heath services should shut this restaurant down .... filthy just filthy !!!! No words .
Reasonable fixed price (30.95) nice place variety of good quality food. A buffet remains a buffet. Dont expect haute cuisine
well done, I like it a lot
I know what to expect from a Chinese buffet style restaurant, I am not looking for gourmet food, but the price is so high I will not be back. The prices they charge considering what the place looks like inside does not make any sense. Not sure whats up the weird plastic sheets all around the entrance, zero presentation the place is very very old.
Check the hours online and said they where open today and when we got there they where closed.. we drove 30 minutes for nothing
We usually order takeout from here and decided to eat in the dinning room this time. Not many options and food wasn t as fresh. Stick to takeout if you can. It s much better.
Wonderful service, good food.
Order a delivery order by telephone. 2 hours after calling, I called them back to find out how long it would take for the delivery man to arrive only to learn that he had forgotten me!!! Unable to make a change in combos, which he did before. No intention of adapting to customers.
Varied and at will. A beautiful Asian buffet! The service is courteous and polite.
Super good there but Ball of chicken dough with red sauce so excellent Kid-friendliness: Yes
All you can
He should change the price display because there is a big difference!
Look twice on the internet, it says open and you get there and its closed!!!
Not very pretty, not very good, and still quite expensive for poor quality food. The ice cream was pretty good.
So fast, friendly, parking space, clean Parking: A lot of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there are a lot place parking
Avoid going to this place please, ALL of the dishes were so dirty, the dishwasher doesn t bother cleaning them correctly! So many food and grease residue I felt nauseous. I had to use the same plate the whole time and wash it myself in the bathroom . The food area isn t big at all, so not many choices. At least it tasted decent, but another thing that had me outraged is that they don t put labels on their foods, so there are so many undeclared allergens. There was peanut butter and chocolate icecream and people were just using the same icecream scoop for the peanut butter chocolate and every other flavour, and my friend is deathly allergic to peanut butter so you would notice my surprise when I tasted what I thought was just chocolate and caramel turn out to be peanut butter. I stopped him from eating it and ate it myself. Awful.
Absolutely will never go back. Chinese fast food which is low-quality.
Good food good prices .... recommend honey chicken and rice
The lunch buffet is where its at! Come at 11:45 when the food is nice & fresh and you will not be dissapointed. They have a wide variety of different food selections which is perfect for making multiple plates and mixing it up! Gary is the best server I know & really is top tier #1, you can always count on a full glass of water & him to take your finished plates within seconds. Ive been going to this restaurant for years and the cooks have objectively gotten better! Top off your experience with some ice-cream and a fortune cookie, what more could you ask for!
Very good place to eat, Ive been going to this place for 11 years, the food is always fresh and good, its important to go to dinner times, these are buffets
The food was well prepared and well presented....very acceptable for $30-$35
For a buffet it was great and there was plenty of choice.
Not edible
Ive been going to this place for a decade, it costs more than most buffets with little choice. Its been a long time since Ive been physically in a restaurant. Half of the dishes I order for takeout are not even available on site only for takeout although it is not indicated, but the most disappointing thing is that there are fewer and fewer Chinese options. Sausage in maple syrup, onion ring, fries, just broccoli not even beef broccoli, meat pepper sauce Ect. Tldr: Paying $70 to eat $20 fast food from home.
Been a great regular customer here for at least 15 years (i had even posted a great review) and now i am never coming back. I drove half an hour just to eat here. Now, The new management is just horrible and arrogant!! Almost no more meat in their dishes at the buffet - if you can find any meat. Super pricey. You never know when its opened, its closed most of the time. Will be avoiding this place like the plague in the future. Too bad, really loved coming here. Buu-bye!
UPDATE Aug 2023. Worst experience ever!!! Never going back ever after being a loyal customer for almost 20 years!! New management super RUDE!!! No meat to be found in the dishes in the buffet (chow mein for example). This place is now so dirty, I am surprised sanitation has not closed it yet... ================================ The best buffet around! Great staff, the food all tastes different, not like the usual buffet which everything tastes the same.
Excellent buffet, very wide variety, reasonable price. Parking: Shopping center parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Everything was very good, excellent service by the owner himself
I was there for lunch. The food wasn t very good. All battered and fried. Nothing fresh. Bathrooms were nasty, place looked dirty. Would not recommend.
Very good take out, just be sure to order ahead.
Very good
My favorite Chinese I have been going there for years and has never been dislodged from my favorites.
Always good and nice atmosphere when we go there. Thank you always well received!
Very good
poor quality buffet and too much $$$
Was a lovely experience, staff was great the food was fresh and there were delicious options the roast beef was surprisingly amazing and I suggest trying it !
This is the only place I eat Chinese in Vaudreuil Dorion
Good food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
The food is very good, fast service, but what can I say about the decor, there is room for improvement
I really liked ordering from this restaurant unfortunately the last 2 times I ordered my order was canceled 10 minutes from the scheduled delivery time and confirmed..without giving me reasons..very disappointing
Very expensive
Food is great! If you want takeout, be sure to order early as it s a very popular place and is often busy!
Check your order, we had asked for 4 more egg rolls, they were not placed but returned home too late
Good service...but telephone only But ok food... a little expensive but with the circumstances of covid!
Really good Chinese food. Popular place resulting in long waits sometimes.
I seem to be john # 2 or 3 when I order which is a good sign. Also consistently good food everytime.
absolute TRASH! no FLAVOR!
ok food its just ok.
Good food
The best of the West! Best in the West!
Its good, but at $32.00 per person before tax its starting to get expensive
Good but way too expensive 32.00 per person.
Much too expensive
Good Chinese buffet
$66 for two people... adults imagine yourself for a family.. impossible to get there with inflation.
Delicious food friendly staff!
Order for 6 people for delivery. Received after 2.5 hours of waiting and half of the order was missing. For $120, well ordinary.... never again...
Very good value for money, clean and well-cooked meat! I really like the roast beef with black pepper and the broccoli and bock choy! The service is polite and fast! Several kinds of shrimp and excellent!
Great food unfortunately Uber took too long so I picked it up after they were closed. Food was fresh loved the general Tao!
A buffet! Still open! Vegetarian options: Definitely Parking: Lots
This place needs a major cleanup the aquarium is disgusting in the entrance with coy fish you can hardly see because of the filth. Half the chairs need to be upholstered and there is plastic construction sheet protecting the cashier in the entrance the food is bland and for $30.00 per person you would expect more. Terrible experience.
Buffet was small. Some of the foods where over cook I.e. shrimp I had difficulty removing the shell. Service was great. I thought it was a little pricy.
Good buffets I went in time for $35 per person Yia the potato Brigitte next door and we really didnt get our moneys worth
Way to expensive! Its up to 32$ per person.
Needs renovation, not worth the prices.
Very very good everything was hot
A buffet classic in the region. Its worth eating in the dining room on the weekend. It had everything I expected from a Chinese buffet. The price with taxes and tip cost me $40 which is reasonable. The food was hot and fresh and the service very friendly. When you just want to stuff your face with Chinese food, wei wah value for money thats what I expected. The only thing to improve is the cleanliness of their plates, there were some cleaner than others, otherwise very good!
First of all, this place is a time capsule. If youve ever been to a classic chinese buffet in the 1980s-2019, then youre stepping right back into that familiar atmosphere, unforgettable flavors and timeless dining experience that is cheap and easy. The quality of the food is average, but thats part of the experience. If youre looking for quality dining to snap instagram pics for your social media posts, Id recommend steering clear of this one. If however, youre looking for memorable and reliable Chinese style (Americanized) food that you can bring the family to regularly without breaking the bank, then this is worth giving a shot. Bottom line, this is an average Chinese style buffet, exactly what youd commonly find in the pre-Covid era. Noodles, General Tao, fried rice and spring rolls are some of the common dishes you will find here. Its in the buffet format where you get up from your table and scoop up your own food from the food area where other customers will also be circulating. You get what you want and you eat what you get without being wasteful and disrespectful to staff and your fellow diners. Its a simple concept that sadly has all but dissapeared since Covid took the world by storm. Its comforting to know places like this still exist. Would recommend. 4/5 stars because some of the parts of the restaurant looked like it was mid renovation and covered by plastic sheets. Ill change it to 5 stars when I go back and find that its cleared up.
Im mixed... On the way there are some kind of shelters with plastic. There are no placemats or tablecloth... The fried things were just okay... Honestly... $100 for 2 is too much. My friend refused to go to the bathroom and my partner was pretty disgusted... The beer and wine were good.
Please add peanut butter dumplings and well give you 10 stars! And above all speed up delivery. Weve been waiting for almost two hours!
Pcq free coffee las pfff
Parking: Plenty of parking spaces
Worst ever fake Chinese food I ve ever had
Take out 3 stars, dine in 2 stars, very old and outdated ambiance, washrooms are terrible, combine with a lack of food variety, and you have perfect recipe for overpriced buffet. So take out is the way to go.
As we enter I went with my kids to the bathroom to wash our hands first and only to discover cockroaches on the walls. I spoke with to staff members about it and show them the pictur I took of it , and look not surprised at all , got a sorry madam as we left.
Too expensive for the experience. Some dishes were undercooked.
I have been coming here since I was a kid and Ive never been disappointed. :)
Not as good as it was before covid.
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Was there for dinner tonight with my boyfriend and brother. The place was dirty, the upholstery on the chairs was torn. My brother s fork was bent in an extreme way. The service was basically non existent. We had to ask to be seated, ask for water. The staff were all very rude. My 44 year old brother was accused of bending the fork. My brother asked the cashier « did you see that? ». Her response was, « I have eyes. I saw ». The food was nothing great at all. Very average, and that s being generous. All this for the bargain price of $32 per person. I would give zero stars if I could. I would never recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever think of returning.
Personally this is my favourite food and I will never stop eating it. I m the most pickiest when it comes to Chinese food since I ve ate this . I go to a restaurant and I buy the same thing and it tastes terrible and I immediately need to buy wei way.
Every time I purchase take out, the price is higher and the portions are smaller, they also forget an item almost every time. I keep giving second chances but now after 25 years it s time to find a new place for Chinese takeout. Just looking at the aquarium full of algae that is in desperate need of maintenance gives me a good perspective of how filthy the place is. I don t know if it s the same owners because previously the name was Win Wah and they were much better at getting the orders correct most of the time, and much bigger portions.
Food is good , deserts I didnt like at all but I did enjoy main meal. Plates and bowls where dirty they need to check them before putting them out . Service is good they always quick to take finsined plates off table. I find it expensive also. Went on a weekend price was 30$ a person Kid-friendliness: Had boosters for kids .
Just good Chinese
Its already been much better, no shrimp in the salad bar, no sushi, lack of meat, not bad, but there are better elsewhere for the price, very expensive.
Went there for a bite on a Friday night. Place was busy. Service was efficient. Food lacks variety and is not the healthiest. It still looks and feels the same it did in the 1990s when I went there as a kid. And not in the best way. Add some salads and non fried foods even if it means charging a few dollars more per person and it will be so much better.
Worst Chinese food we have ever had, all the food went in the trash.
Pretty good. Ordered No.2 and No.8 on Uber Eats, it came hot and well packaged. Food is quite tasty with good amount of sauce. Egg rolls are full and crispy. Portions are generous too. All in all good value. The only thing I wish there were daikon in Chinese vegetables!
Disgusting! Ordered food: insect in food, part of order missing, egg rolls were rancid. AVOID!!!!!!
Disgusting revolting sickening - Will NEVER order from them again This INSECT was in the middle of the container GROSS !!!!!
Small portions. Ordered for 2 people and only enough for 1. Reply to owner: Perhaps some portions sent are less than others.
Great food!
My first experience with them and I m so glad I cancelled the order. After reading reviews about bugs and what not on these reviews. When I call I was rudely answered and I was being extremely nice. When I asked questions she would start telling me but would sigh. Horrible customer service without a doubt. I hate writing reviews like this but seriously their is a really nice Chinese restaurant near Hudson, order from there and you will not regret it. But they are closed mondays and tuesdays hence why I tried and begged for a number two and just finished by cancelling my order we will cook ourselves. I really hope they see this review and smarten up.
Food is good BUT, since Covid, they have increased their prices considerably, AND I believe they decreased the size of their portions. Not to mention the fact that its cash only on delivery orders... major pain in the butt (I think they are the only ones going this route in the area)!!! Not sure I would recommend...
Dishes missing three times in three orders, Dishes cold, Item Charged on the invoice not ordered and not in the bag, problem getting reimbursed. 3 strikes youre out Never again
Chinoiserie, nothing special. Its a belly-filler
Why was the brocoli to beef ratio was 20 to 1? Très décevant honnestly..
Went get supper to go
Used to be good many years back. Would have given it a 5 stars back then. Have eaten at and ordered from , many times over the years. Lately it just seems that the quality of food has gone down and the pricing way up. And the last time I ordered I got sick unfortunately. :/
Id give ZERO stars if I could. This is suppsed to be chow mein?? You should be ashamed. The entire plate is bean sprouts and 2 pieces soggy fish tasting chicken. The Chricken fried rice had no chicken in it and tasted like it was made yesterday. The won ton soup is basically water and won ton wrapped in more won ton woth non existent filling. The beef and broccoli is just ridiculous. The beef is slimey and rubbery and also non existent. People like myself finish a long day at work and spend our good hard earned money on GARBAGE. I am so disappointed and livid. Cutting every corner to save money and rip people off. Absolutely disgusting. And this is actually the 2nd time I order hoping the first time was just a flook. Was I wrong. Maybe its just the online orders since you dont actually have to see anyone?? Either way. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I really like
No dine in. Drove 30 minutes cause it says dine in and NO DINE IN ONLY TAKE OUT!
Very good excellent
Great food
Great Chinese take-out
Its delicious, I just wish it was cleaner
Has its good days and its bad days to be perfectly honest. I dont like how certain items cant be bought on take out. Take out generally is better than the buffet if they are making it fresh
Typical the same as other places for a Chinese buffet. I find most places the same none has been better yet vutnnothing wrong with it
Lots of choice, discreet and courteous staff. To fill your belly to the fullest, its a good place!
What used to be a good place for chinese food turned into a terrible place. Food last visit had a terrible after taste. Singapore noodles used to be my go to here. Last time i had some they where the worst.. such a shame
The place is very old. Needs renovation and a big wash. It doesnt make you want to eat. I will not return.
Thank you and congratulations of reopening. Waited 2 months and well worth it. So delicious. Thanks good luck for the future.
Excellent take-out, always fresh, quick and delicious.
Very good
Best Chinese restaurant in Montreals West Island
Not edible
Ordered take out, they said it would take 30 min. Arrived in 30 minutes, only to wait another hour!! Food just ok. Will not return
Horrible Take-out service! 2 hour wait for pre-ordered, take-out food!! No apology. No discount. No help. No courtesy snacks/drinks. Nothing! Saturday night, 5pm: I called to place an order that I would pick up. #1 for 3 people #4 for 3 people #5 for 3 people. I was told over the phone that it was a large order and would take 45 minutes. Ok, no problem. My sons went to pick up the order at 5:45. When they were not home by 6:15, we called them. Still at the restaurant, its not ready!. 6:30, same thing! I kept calling the restaurant, but they would not pick up, despite me letting it ring 1000 times! My sons should have left, but at 5:45 when they announced themselves at the counter, they were asked to pay, and they did. Hind sight is 20/20! 6:55 they finally received the food! The entire time, they were not seated, not offered anything to drink, not given any snacks as an apology! Nothing! Delays, rushes happen, but a business needs to own them, and make up for it! NEVER, NEVER eating there again. Once a year, for my moms birthday, we ordered from there for the past 30 years (as Win Wah), but now as Wei Wah, we will never go back. Probably the same owners, chefs and staff, but the treatment was beyond brutal!
Great place in the neighborhood for Chinese buffet. Been going for years and service is always friendly and fast. Typical selection but they have all the favourites.
It didnt even deserve that...the food was not hot enough on the buffet. ..now we are all sick ..
in general its good
