Upscale lakefront hotel offering elegant suites, plus a restaurant, an indoor pool & meeting space.
Such a lovely stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean. So much to do on site. We enjoyed bike riding and kayaking. The kids also had a blast in the pool area. The bedding and rooms themselves are very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
If you’re looking for exceptional service and well trained staff - AVOID. I wanted to stay here because I was looking for a unique experience with outstanding service. I had a reservation through booking.com and when I arrived, I was told that I couldn’t be checked in because I had two and not one dog and to come back later when the on-duty manager was back from lunch to see if it was possible to be checked in. I was tired from travelling and really needed to get off the road and in to a comfortable room, but had no choice to agree. After taking my dogs for a walk in the local dog park, I called them back to be told they could check me in but would charge me $100 extra for my animals for the one night I would stay! I have clean, well trained dogs and assume that a deposit would protect them from damage/mess. Long story short, these crooks charged me the entire night’s fee even though I did not stay there! They refused to authorize a refund to booking.com even though I reported to booking.com that night that I didn’t not stay at the property.
Absolutely amazing hotel!! The staff was so so sweet and super patient, the rooms were extraordinary! The food was a bit expensive but very good! Will definitely come back sometime!!
First rate hotel, service and staff. Spent the week here and now dont want to go home…. Fantastic place to relax, eat and sleep in peace… thank you to all
Wow! In not a good way! We stayed here for a family wedding and the professionalism was uncommon. When we arrived, there was a random 'amenity fee'. For the price of the room, you would think it would include the fees associated to the smallest pool. The bed was super firm. Many of our family members had the same opinion. The day we arrived, they had issues with their processing system, so they had to take a print copy of our credit cards. 2 of the members of our party had their credit cards comprimised. The last use was there. We cannot necessary blame the hotel, but when we addressed it with the hotel, it was completely dismissed and they were super passive aggressive. Finaly, for the breakfast, not worth the price. 5$ for a small glass of what is most likely minute maid, seriouly? And almost 20$ for an avocato on toast where the toast is as absent as the aminety fee in the online billing. Long story short, there are some good things, but the way we were treated afterwards, not strong.
A beautiful and luxurious boutique hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished and decorated. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas and it felt like being in a Christmas movie. The beds are comfortable and it's nice to cozy up in bed with a movie or book. They provided slippers and robes and the washroom is well stocked with everything you may need including make up wipes. The staff are nice and attentive, check in and check out was quick and painless. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to staying again.
I was born and raised in this province and have been traveling back and forth between the US and Ontario to Quebec for over twenty years. I have never had reception call me to make sure I was out of my our rooms although we asked and were granted a late checkout and they were arrogant about it on top of it ! My sons wanted to go play basketball on the tennis courts we were told summer is over and yet it is sunny and 23 degrees today new-flash ! Fall is not officially started so someone should notify reception The essence of the hospitality industry is customer service and experience the front desk reception crew at vaudreuil need a refresher course On a positive note breakfast buffet was nice overlooking the lake and waitress and hostess were friendly and did a good job!
Booked a wedding reception here, confirming all the details months in advance. I’m flying people in from all over the world so we had to plan well ahead. 3 weeks out, they told us that they could not accommodate. Nor would they even try to honor the commitment. They acted like we were lucky that they even spoke to us. We were incredibly disappointed to have to try to find a spot a few weeks out. We were treated like second class citizens. My wife is upset, my guests have to scramble, all because of their ineptness. A horrible experience that I would not wish upon anyone.
We went for a birthday supper it was empty inly 3 of us the quality of the food is medium But they charge too much for nothing If you want to waste your money it is a nice place to go
Excellent hotel. Staff was very good, attentive and brunch were good
First stay at this hotel, 1 night with a 3 year old child. However, I was very disappointed with several things, especially considering the price of the room. We booked a suite to have access to the sofa bed separate from the master bedroom for our child. When we opened it, there were lots of crumbs in the mattress. It was the most uncomfortable sofa bed Ive tried in recent memory. The mattress was floppy, my child was always lying in the middle. There were springs that hurt his back. The mattress was so thin that you could feel everything. We had to put him to sleep on the hotel duvet because he wasnt able to sleep otherwise. 2 of the 3 chairs in our room were stained, same thing for the carpet. The pool had missing tiles and the lounge chairs were stained/dirty. I lifted one of the cushions and there was a lot of dirt/mold underneath. In short, the service is excellent, but considering the rest, I dont find that the price of the rooms is justifiable. We wont be returning unless they do major renovations.
The room wasnt particulaly well cleaned. Our wine glasses were dirty. And there was a bit of miscommunication between the reception staff and my francophone friends.
Brunch at Villa Elina. Classy atmosphere, warm welcome, exceptional service, courteous employees and exquisite food!
As the brother of the bride, I wouldnt recommend anyone get married here. There are hidden fees, they dont keep to their word ( they wont give you the services you paid for and ask for more money for services that were supposed to be included). They try to take advantage off you and wont hesitate to bother you or spring unexpected problems on the wedding day. TO BE AVOIDED
Really enjoyed my stay, a nice place to relax. We will definitely return!!! Rooms: The rooms are up to date and very comfortable...
Little corner of heavenly rest. Its perfect for rewarding yourself and enjoying life, wine, exquisite meals, luxurious room and simply nature. Rooms: Large and luxurious Safety: 24/7 guard Walkability: Small path with an adorable little white bridge in the shape of a little rainbow, just for Sunday walkers. Food and drinks: Delicious cheese plate served with wild berries and fresh figs. A delight! The sablefish, salmon steak and angus steak is incomparable. The ultimate dessert: crème brûlée with Grand Marnier. A must-have. With the surprising little black dots of pure vanilla when you finish the dessert its hummmmmmmmm!!! My favorite restaurant for the princess in me. Noteworthy details: Remarkable Italian decoration. The frames, the chandeliers, the outdoor fountains... everything is delicious for the eyes.
We had a fantastic stay at the Chateau. Wonderful staff, great rooms, overall somewhere we ll definitely visit again if in the area. Rooms: Very nice, clean, comfortable rooms
We ate in the restaurant Amazing service Amazing view with a view and a lovely fountain Ideal for anniversary celebration Food tastes very good Portions are small though
Finding dirty panties under an armchair. And television is paid, we are pushing the bill a little in my opinion. Rooms: Not good value for money Food and drinks: The restaurant very good
A magical experience in a real castle half an hour from the center of Montreal. The decor is classic, the rooms well decorated, comfortable and quiet. Ideal setting for weddings or other celebrations.
I would like to express my deep disappointment with the staff of Château Vaudreuil. Last June, I contacted the reception organization to obtain information on how to take wedding photos on their site. I was assured that I would be contacted in the following days, but I never received a response. After a week, I tried to contact the person responsible again, but this time I was directed to another person who promised to look into my request, but did not call me back. In August I called again and was assured I should receive a return call by tomorrow. Unfortunately, once again, I received nothing. I also booked a hotel room to get ready, specifying in my special requests that I was taking the room for a wedding photo shoot. Less than 12 hours after my reservation, I received a message informing me that I would be refused access to the hotel due to the lack of a contract. So I decided to cancel my reservation, because it is obvious that this establishment has no consideration for its customers, which is really unfortunate. In conclusion, I will never return to this hotel and I will not recommend it to anyone.
The grounds ,pool hot tub steam room awesome Sandro went out of his way to show the grounds & ammenaties breakfast menu could have more choices food was
Châteaux Vaudreuil offers a luxurious, tranquil lakeside escape with exceptional food, elegant ambiance, and outstanding service. The peaceful atmosphere and attention to detail make it ideal for both romantic retreats and family vacations. With friendly, professional staff, it provides a refined yet welcoming experience.
We didn t stay at the Chateau, but attended a wedding there! It was a lovely venue, with outstanding location, food and service!
My cousin booked a wedding reception at Chateau Vaudreuil and they just got a call weeks before the reception that they could no longer accommodate this. Invitations have been sent out, hotel rooms have been booked, flights purchased for guest coming from out of country. How absolutely disgusting of this establishment to do this to people. This is a warning to others who may want to book there to be careful as they don t honour their commitments. Absolutely speechless that they would do this.
It was a beautiful garden. Staff was very friendly. Room service food was so good. Love the chicken sandwich.
Great place I ve been going to for over 20 years, never disappointed. Amazing property and great rooms Rooms: Big, clean and modern enough, good bathroom, great beds Nearby activities: The property is huge and has a nice beach, different things to do such as kayaking, biking etc. Food and drinks: Lots of great restaurants nearby in Vaudreuil and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, the hotel s restaurant is amazing too but expensive
My husband and I went to the restaurant at Chateau Vaudreuil to celebrate our anniversary a week or two ago. The grounds are breath-taking and the food was great, but the service was awful! When we arrived we were given butter and olives(no bread). The waitress never brought us some bread so when we got our meal we finally asked the bus boy if it was normal that we never received bread when every other table around us received their bread... He then went to get us some bread. Meanwhile, the waitress misunderstood my husbands order and instead of getting us the pizza with prosciutto she understood the appetizer of prosciutto. We were there during the Thursday BBQ and I ordered the steak and I finished my steak by the time he got his meal. Also, Im pregnant so I couldnt drink alcohol but ordered a mocktail, which I received half way through my meal. I really love this place but its not the first time I feel that the service is bad, which is why I have decided to write a review. Will not be going back to a place where you are just forgotten as a customer....
5 Stars ++++. Invited for a wedding, I was able to appreciate the beauty of the place: interior and exterior, the quality of the wedding meal, the hotel and the breakfast. The configuration of the premises and a well-established organization allowed three weddings to take place simultaneously without affecting the privacy of each person. Everything is grandiose: a sublime park on the edge of a lake with sun loungers, cocooning lounges, spacious, well-equipped rooms with comfortable queen size bedding, a qualitative and quantitative breakfast which we enjoyed despite our late awakening and the exceeding the schedule. This earned the caring and available staff a reprimand from their management. I thank everyone individually, whatever their position, for making our stay unforgettable.
Incredible venue for a wedding! Was the photographer, and loved how many scenic backdrops they had for photos!
I spent a wonderful weekend at Chateau Vaudreuil at the end of May 2024 to attend an event nearby. Sandros welcome was warm and attentive. The establishment is modern, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant and bar (special mention to Gwen for her friendly service and delicious cocktails) offer magnificent views of the gardens. Both outdoor and indoor spaces are perfect for all kinds of gatherings. I will not hesitate to return and recommend this hotel to my loved ones!
Had the brunch after a wedding 115 bucks for salad tiny., avocado toast, poached egg only half English muffin and stinky fish. If you got money to burn this place is for . Service subpar Rooms
Amazing stay! For the night thank you to the entire team for having us my family really enjoyed it!
Superb place. Courteous staff. Comfortable and luxurious rooms. Special thanks to Bernard Landry who immortalized our stay.
Excellent dining room with lake view.
Very nice hotel located at the west end of the island of Montreal
Excellent service, attentive and respectful, beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful setting for relaxation and rest. The food is also a delight. We will definitely return!
We go to this place annually for special occasions. We are always treated up to our expectations. Excellent service, beautiful location.
We went to dinner Thursday evening May 23, 2024 with friends at the Villa Elina restaurant in Chateau Vaudreuil and we loved it! The food was impeccable and the service second to none. We were seated on the terrace which was completely covered with mosquito nets and a breathtaking view of the lake. There was even a musical duo performing on the terrace. It was really perfect. The only negative point to mention is that suddenly around 8:40 p.m. we heard a lady at the table right next to us telling an employee of the restaurant to ask the group to stop playing momentarily and that it was enough for the music. This table which seemed to be hotel executives got up because they had finished their meal and they left... the other customers (us included) were still in the middle of our meal while we were enjoying the terrace. Unfortunately it left us with a bitter taste and in my opinion i am pretty sure the others dinning outside had the same feeling as another table even asked the employee of the restaurant if the musicians were going to play again and the latters response was that unfortunately it was over for the evening. The atmosphere was changed completely. The last hour of supper ended in silence... It was very ordinary. It seems that the managers of this hotel dont care about the customers around them... seemed very selfish considering outside was full of people.
Lack of scruple and professionalism. The hotel charges a hidden penalty fee of $15.00 which is only disclosed after payment confirmation. I ended up paying $22.00 more than expected after taxes. The fees and taxes were not mentioned on the invoice that the hotel sent me by email so I had to call reception twice since the first lady hung up on me. Rather than apologizing, the second employee persisted with me by justifying this hidden fee only after I asked him the question to find out what this compensation fee is for. Additionally, I wanted to know why this was not mentioned to me during payment and the young man simply brushed aside my question and indicated that it was mentioned on the confirmation letter I received after payment. I wont break my neck for $22.00 and I wont discourage anyone from taking advantage of this wonderful accommodation but I certainly dont appreciate this commercial practice. I only want to inform Internet users and customers that there is an additional charge below taxes that is not reflected in the prices that are displayed on their website.
For the location its perfect but the repairs to the bridge ruin the experience. Service and food, it was almost perfect. Food and drinks: Good portions, tasty and good temperature
All staff are very rude they changed their policies after booked, because we booked one room and asked them permission to do the photography in the garden area they said yes but now one day before they telling if people who not booked their wedding hall they can t take pictures outside, but why that staff name Mohamed not informed us and why he said yes to take photography while booking, very disappointed
A great location with stunning views, extremely friendly and professional staff. We had an excellent experience from checkin, the room service, with the cleaning staff, the dining room staff and the management that we interacted with. The food was amazing.
Delicious meal and exceptional service from Jean-Pierre
We went for breakfast buffet. The place is beautiful set up, staff were friendly. We enjoyed our time and ate well. Service : 5/5
A beautiful hotel, but I expected better service. I checked in alone with my two kids (1 and 4) and lots of luggage...despite three people at the service desk, not one offered to assist me. I asked if I could use a trolly and while they said yes, they then just watched me struggle instead of offering to help. It was practically comical. Aside from this, staff were friendly and our stay was great. Rooms: Beautiful
Stayed here this weekend to attend a wedding. The property is breathtaking. The staff were AMAZING! The serving staff especially were impeccable. Their attention to detail, efficiency, professionalism were top notch. The rooms were fantastic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Best sleep I ve had! I strongly recommend staying here. It is very easy to find and access from the high way. Five stars!
Supreme customer service. Luxury at its finest
Ive stayed here numerous times and always have left fully satisfied. Start to finish great service and energy. Very clean, very tasteful decorations. Breakfast at the restaurant is always perfect.
My stay was fantastic! From the stunning location to the incredibly friendly staff, this is the place to be. Everything about Chateau Vaudreuil is exquisite, and their restaurant is fantastic too. The service is exceptional; Karen, the director of reception, was incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a warm smile. Her colleague, Palina, offered us just as much assistance and warmth. Thank you so much to the entire Chateau Vaudreuil team! Well definitely be back soon.
We were their to celebrate a special occssion for a friend. We were all treated to their elegant tea service. It was a treat to the senses. Servers paid attention to the detail and took care of everything. The food was awesome. I devoured a lot of their devonshire cream - it was delicious. The location of the chateau is beautiful - adjacent to the waterfront. Interiors are magnificient and takes you to the old times. It is a perfect place to host your events.
Destination Hotel. No compromise Italian food.
Top-notch front desk. Courteous and efficient. In order to clarify this communication problem by email, I called the hotel directly. After a few tests, and a change of email address, I received the long-awaited confirmation. Thanks to Mr. Ammar for his intervention. The initial rating is a bad memory... The 5th star will certainly come after my stay in a few months. Sincerely. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------ Disappointing and incomprehensible. After booking directly on the website, I did not receive any confirmation by email. So I sent an email to the address indicated on the site in the contact section, to ask if my reservation had been taken into account... No response. 2 days later, I directly filled out the contact form on the site to make the same request. After 3 days of waiting...still no response. So 2 hypotheses, either this hotel is closed, or the staff is displaying unspeakable incompetence. In any case, this does not give a good impression of this establishment and above all makes you not want to stay there. I will make one last email and send one last message via the site to cancel the reservation... hoping this time, that my message is read and that the charge for no show is not made on my card. credit. Really unfortunate.
Very well received. And the service is perfect
Loved it! Too bad they dont have another area for more casual dining. Rooms: We had a king suite, so very roomy. Rooms : 5/5 |
A most enchanting site with its gastronomic experience worthy of the best restaurants in the region. We repeat our visits there year after year as a couple or in groups, summer and winter: Our must-see in the West of the island.
I will never stay here again. The lack courtesy by management staff is incredible. The front desk staff are very nice but it clearly stops there. Boardline rude on the telephone. Disgraceful.
Love it
Amazing hotel to stay in
Nice staff. Clean place & rooms . Good location . Beautiful neighbourhood. Rooms : 4/5 |
This hotel is gorgeous and the staff is friendly. They have a restaurant that serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. The pool is big and warm, so my kids loved it. The outdoors are just mesmerizing. It is a great place to stay
Perfect Christmas atmosphere Rooms: Luxurious and spacious Nearby activities: Walk in nature Safety: Very safe Food and drinks: Fresh, sumptuous, generous and delicious Noteworthy details: Exceptional swimming pool area Warmth and comfort
Third time for us and the experience is still just as good! We go to restaurants for the pleasure of eating there. The decor is sublime and the staff are charming! Of course, its not free. Sunday brunch is $76 and you have to budget at least $300 for 2 people.....but its a must. The gardens are superb in summer. Well have to try an overnight stay this year.
Very nice place with great service. Rooms: Hard to navigate the tv remote. No ventilation in bathroom. Bed pillows are uncomfortable, bring your own. Rooms : 4/5 |
Absolutely beautiful place. Clean, impeccable service. Comfortable beds. Tasty food.
All the photos are already on the web but, summer 2022, we were on a family trip. Very very nice place, the price is justified. The room was great and we slept wonderfully. A little far from Montreal center but so quiet, a pleasure.
Restaurant- Great service, great food!
Really beautiful place
Beautiful place with beautiful views and the rooms are clean.
Pleasent place to stay and relax
Restaurant excellent service, very good
Really beautiful place
Never got to stay in the rooms. My son had stayed a night with his wife and they forgot their swimsuits. I drove with my son to collect clothing. Upon arrival, used the bathrooms. The place is stunning. Would love to spend a night or two.
Rooms: Comfortable bedding, clean and tasteful decor Rooms
Beautiful place, amazing service, it has it all
Pleasant and attentive service by Jean-Pierre and Bernard. Magnificent location! Food and drinks: Delicious, perfect cooking, excellent service
Stayed here for a few nights. It was pure luxury. The staff was amazing. Pool was wonderful. Had a massage booked in my room. I had a room overlooking the water. It was exactly what I needed.
Amazing place. Exceptional service. You wouldnt expect to see something like that on the road to Montreal. But we instead stayed there and drove to Montreal 3 days in a raw as you cant find something like that in the city....
Suits are beautiful, service is amazing.
This hotel has gone through renovations and it is stunning! I have been there before the renos and it is quite a transformation . It s super clean and taken care of. The views of the grounds and water are tranquil.pool, steam room and the hot tub all helped me in the relaxation theme of my weekend. Staff extremely friendly and professional. From Sandro the main man , Daniel the awesome waiter at the restaurant and everyone I have encountered over my weekend stay! Exceptional! Thank you guys! The food at the restaurant was perfect. I am picky about my steak and it was done exactly how I like it! The cream of yellow peppers soup I begged for the recipe lol wild mushroom risotto with shaved truffles my mouth misses it daily lol Room service food was delicious and prices are more then reasonable. I was expecting to pay a lot more to be honest. I highly recommend a visit. I will try my best to make it my regular destination for relaxation.
I went to Montreal for my sister wedding and we decide to go to the Chateau for really good fanseafood and fancy service the place its magical but be prepared to spend a lot of money
Impressive building and facilities. Easy access. Courteous and helpful staff.
best service!
Hidden gem in Veudreuil! A prestigious hotel. Rooms are nice and big some of them comems with a nice view. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, but the food is not up to the same standards of the hotel. The hotel offers a 3 main course brunch menu. Villa Elina is the only restaurant in the hotel, though the food is not great but the staff are super friendly and the view is absolutely beautiful. Front desk staff are professional and friendly. Room prices goes up to $500 tax inclu during high season per night. Highly recommended for small getaway.
Never stayed in the hotel, but its location by the lake is spectacular, and the food is great. Its also has a number of beautiful reception rooms.
Attaboy the place of fire!
Incredibly beautiful ambience
Beautifully located on a lake. I had breakfast with friends, and the entire experience was special. Excellent food and great service. Highly recommend.
Renovated rooms, very good restaurant, good swimming pool. The places are also magnificent but a little noisy outside due to the proximity of the highway. I would go back!
Thank you for your great service
We had lunch in Villa Elina. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The location is amazing with a lake view and a lovely atmosphere. Very recommended. Service : 5/5 |
Excellent service
Nice place.... bad food!!!
Very elegant and welcoming. Rooms: Very nice rooms. Very comfortable. Rooms : 5/5 |
Great place to treat yourself to a couple getaway Rooms: Nice big room, beautiful view of the lake Walkability: Beautiful, prestine grounds to walk around in and take pics Food and drinks: Food was amazing, pricey but so good. The red snapper fish was amazing and the beef flank too
I went there for lunch on a double date...In one word....AMAZING...It reminded me of the 7 star hotels in Dubai and Qatar. Marble floors, large persian rugs, super nice staff dressed to impress. The food and drinks were great, with adequate pricing. The main lounge had a classical guitar player. The acoustics were deep and soft, couldnt help it but to put on a big smile with the memory of my teenage piano lessons. Definitely my No.1 now to impress a special one, or for family and group get togethers.
Stayed here for a business trip. It was wonderful. So relaxing to walk the grounds, beautiful views, wonderful food and friendly staff. We didnt
Another great lunch experience at Chateau Vaudreuil. Food is always 10/10 , great staff and the view is always exceptional overlooking the water
Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds. The grounds are incredible and the whole ambiance is complete luxury
Walkability: Very nice arrays Location
A short getaway from Cleveland brought us to this wonderful location. The accommodations the staff, the surroundings were all as close to flawless as I have encountered. The grounds are magnificent and are kept to an exceptionally high standard. The meals we had were extraordinary, and the breakfast pastries were out of this world. Although not a fan of expresso, the in room machine let me experience a number of different styles or flavors. There are nearby restaurants and stores should you desire, and the train system into Montreal is not very far if you choose not to battle the traffic of the city. Should we ever venture back into the area, this will be our choice of accommodations. Thank you for helping to make our trip that much more enjoyable. ,
A dream
Went for lunch on Sunday morning. Very ordinary buffet but the life and the service are excellent.
Clean place and delicious food Rooms: Very clean Rooms : 5/5 |
We recently stayed nearly 3 weeks at the Château Vaudreuil, due to an issue with our house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to thank the staff for their friendly, helpful attitudes while we were there. Special mention to Sarah, Simon and Sandro, as well as the cleaning staff for the service in our suite and extra towels in the pool area- much appreciated! Rooms: We had a suite and found it very comfortable for 4 adults, cleaning services were excellent and the pool/hot tub area was a delight
The hotel is exceptional and beautiful, the grounds are lovely, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a perfect 5/5 The 4 stars rating is only because the restaurant is lackluster. The hostess was not there when we walked in, the staff was rushed and had a slight attitude, and the food wasn t great. Overall I would say stay at the hotel as it is flawless, but avoid the restaurant.
Beautiful place on the water surrounded by lovely gardens and without question would be great spot for wedding photos. Three day golf getaway with buddies and hotel ticked the boxes with comfortable beds, quiet rooms and steam room a place. Hot tub and pool ok. Insight restaurant mediocre at best but convenient. Special mention to Sandro who was exceptionally pleasant and passed on complaint to restaurant maitre d and management to address complaint about dinner night before. Restaurant followed up but management never responded making me somewhat disappointed. Without this would have been 5*. Dont appreciate management not following up for their benefit
A sublime hotel, with very beautiful rooms and very professional staff. A real pleasure to sleep here.
The rooms are very clean and organized, the employees are really nice and the food is amazing. Stayed their for a week and had a great experience
Have driven by this place a million times and always wondered what it was like. Attended a family wedding there this past weekend... and it was amazing. Beautiful and clean. And have never experienced such friendly and helpful staff. Everything about our experience there was fantastic!
The view was really nice and quiet, the pool was really clean, and the sauna was really nice. Not only that, the manager and the staff at the front desk were really friendly. My family decided to come back next time. And I really want to recommend it to others. Nearby activities: It was nice that there were so many things to do at the hotel. I really enjoyed biking, kayaking, tennis, basketball, etc.
If youre going to Montreal, be sure to visit this place and find the master Sandro. You can receive service comparable to a 5-star hotel at this 4-star establishment. Although its located outside the suburbs, you can enjoy kayaking, biking, tennis, basketball, a clean swimming pool, and sauna facilities for free. Its even easier to get around since theres ample parking space and the highway is right next door, making it easier to travel compared to staying in the bustling downtown area where parking is difficult. Additionally, there are clean rooms, an atmospheric restaurant, and you can enjoy a comfortable and friendly service. Its a place where you can create memorable experiences without any regrets.
Amidst my mothers brave battle with cancer, our decision for a staycation at Chateau Vaudreuil was our only option, as travel was not feasible for my ailing mother. Positioned directly above the wedding hall, our room was inundated with relentless noise from multiple celebrations, leaving us sleepless all night. When I voiced our concerns at 11pm, management suggested moving our room, an utterly impractical and insensitive offer given my mothers condition and my baby, who was the only one fortunate enough to catch some sleep. Upon checking out and requesting a follow-up call to address our experience, the response was cold; management would only communicate via email, stating a need for proof in writing - a stark display of covering their tracks rather than showing genuine compassion. Their subsequent proposal of an upgrade for our next stay felt far from adequate. Despite Chateau Vaudreuils esteemed reputation, the empathy and understanding we so deeply hoped for were noticeably missing during this delicate chapter in our lives, a time for which we sadly wont get any do-overs
Outstanding. Very nice hotel that feels like a resort. It has a small private beach where you can Kayak. You can also bike and they have a small indoor pool and a sauna. Rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended
Overall a classic /classy hotel. A great place for weddings and other events. Its changed a little over the years with more infrastructure around the hotel, neither a good nor bad thing. Hotel is very clean and rooms are well maintained. It could be better with air-conditioning that has more range, as the rooms got warm overnight.
great place
Returned for another great experience. Front host (Sandro?) Is the hardest working guy in the town, doing everything with a smile while wearing a black suit. Hes amazing. Deserves a raise!
The room was lovely. The food was quite expensive with tiny portions, greasy. Stay away from the restaurant. Waiter Refused to give bread while waiting for our food which took a long time to come. Rooms
There is nothing negative to report. We were quite pleased with our stay. This was the second wedding that I attended here, and clearly, the bar has been set high- and has been well maintained - the first wedding was in 2005! Keep up the good work! You know what they say... jamais deux sans trois ;)
Very pretty hotel for weddings, beautiful gardens. However, it should be noted that there were 5 weddings at the same time, including 2 outdoor ceremonies held at the same time, in addition to two outdoor cocktails held at the same time. So during the quiet, romantic ceremony we were at, there was loud, loud dance music that covered everything and we couldnt hear anything! The food was excellent
Our stay was, for the most part, excellent. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. Our room was comfortable and cozy. The Concierges were outgoing, friendly and very helpful. My daughter really enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the beautiful lake front that the resort encompasses. The gardens reminded me of some of the nice resorts I have stayed at in Florida. They were truly remarkable. The only sour note came upon our departure. As we were leaving the hotel someone at the front desk asked us if we were leaving and then confirmed what room we had been staying in. At first I thought they were asking because we had a late check out, but then they proceeded to tell us that they had to charge us extra for our dog. I said that was fine and that I thought this had already been included (at this point I had not looked at the bill). The employee went on to insinuate that we had not informed them that we had a dog, which we did when we booked our room and were very open about having her with us during our stay. We ve travelled a lot with our pup and know how it works. Instead we were made to feel like we had tried to pull a fast one over them and that our character had come into question, something that I think is extremely offside. Our plan was to return for a longer stay next summer but after this incident we ll need time to reflect on that. The rest of the staff was excellent and the hotel was so nice so perhaps this one negative experience will recede in our memory when we consider going back.
Attended a wedding in the annex building beautiful spot
Beautiful hotel, very clean and luxurious. The view of the lake is magnificent. I highly recommend this location for a romantic or family stay. Rooms: Beautiful room with luxurious decoration. Comfortable king bed. Nearby activities: Close to lots of restaurants.
Amazing place and ambiance
My family and I finally got everyone together to have a pleasant brunch. The day was beautiful, the grounds clean and our waiter Guillaume, was amazing. However, as good as the food was, because it was very good, my husband chewed on a staple that was in his pasta. Yes, a piece of metal, in his food! The waiter was very apologetic, and took the piece of metal to the chef. For such an expensive and fancy restaurant, I expected, at the very least, an apology from the chief, or the manager! My husband was lucky he did not swallow it and cause some damage, although the stable did dig into his gums, which is how he found it. Very disappointed that this was not acknowledged by anyone and only our waiter had to bare the embarrassment This being said, we did still enjoy our family outing, the place is beautiful.
A Magical place! The hotel is remarkably clean! A member of staff impressed us, his name was Santos, A note for the exterior maintenance team... Its simply magnificent, the grounds, the flowers, the attention to detail, worthy of a magazine! The only negative point is the lunch, quite ordinary, waitress mixed up, several mistakes and yet there were not many people. Rooms: Suite 606, magnificent Noteworthy details: Bottles of water in the room! Its made rare! Nice attention there were 4! The body products-soaps-shampoo are of very good quality,
Enjoyed the Tea Time
A lady by the name of Karen, while making a reservation on the phone, was exceptional.
I never tire of going to this castle. The rooms are a good size, the environment is super classy and relaxing at the same time. Take a tour of the castle on foot, youll love it!
Top hotel near Beaconsfield/Montréal. Huge, comfortable beds. Stylish interior design. Reasonable room prices, but the restaurant is expensive. Huge, free parking lot. Private beach in a fantastic location. The toilet is in the bathroom, which is not appropriate in a quadruple room. The room doors are of poor quality and slam shut. The window cannot be opened. The elevators are dilapidated. At the reception some employees are very committed, others are unfortunately a bit disinterested.
The rooms are immaculate and the service truly 5 star. The location would score higher if it wasnt hard on the freeway on one side
Absolutely amazing, food, room, service
Rooms: Parfait Rooms
Our one night stay was as expected from the Chateau conglomerate. This particular hotel resort was beautiful - not only the land it sits on but also the attention to detail inside. My only gripe is when checking out, I requested an hour extension and was reluctantly given a measly thirty minutes.
One of the best hotels I have stayed. I was lucky to get the view of waterfront from my room which was awesome.
A unique place of its kind with trained staff attentive to your every need
Had an excellent brunch today. Well worth the price. First time here in many years and will definitely be back. Rooms : 5/5
Absolutely beautiful hotel and everyone was extremely friendly.
We had our work Christmas party there. The hotel inside was beautiful & superbly decorated fir Christmas. The food was ok. The atmosphere is very nice & the waiters very polite & fast. To get there wr had to pass the bridge !! Now that was a task !! It took forever!! For 1 time to eat there its OK. I dont know how the rooms are because we just had dinner & a drink before at the lobby.
Great place for parties
Attended an evening event there
