There was a soupe of the day asperegus wich was realy amazing and a litle spice to it ! Excellent service from Gabrielle, but the beef entrecôte steak contained too much nerve. Damage. Its very expensive for nothing. The shrimp tempura was delicious. The benches are too low compared to the floor. So that my knees are higher than my pelvis when I sit. However, I am not very tall. 54 (1m63). I cant imagine how mens pelvis must hurt when they get up from there! The atmosphere is perfect. Update Oct 24, 2024: Contrary to what one of the owners told me below, I was not offered to exchange the steak, nor to change the meal, nor removed the steak from the bill (do you want me to attach the photo of the invoice?), I was not offered the free coffee/dessert either. Theres probably a mistake with another customer. So unfortunately I wasnt the only one that evening to have too much nerves in my steak.

Very disappointed with my experience yesterday afternoon. Or November 15. I asked for a medium well-cooked filet mignon at the beginning and I was highly recommended medium (pink trace).. I am asked if I want pepper sauce, yes lets see who eats it dry, but not included ( then +2$ for the sauce, ridiculous already considering the price of the plate). Finally, my steak arrived rare, almost blue in the center. For one, the cook should review his cooking because he escaped! My companions ribs were cold.. yes I was offered a free $11 dessert. But we agree that I was not able to taste my filet mignon at $50... which also didnt taste much and neither did the sauce.. here is a photo of my meal (we can see that it is rare and not medium). Very nice waiter on the other hand, and was also dissatisfied with the cooking, very understanding although he could have offered me to continue cooking.

very disappointing, both the food and the poor service. A $20 glass of wine that was vinegary. A waiter who pushed us, more than ordinary plates, much too expensive. We will not return there and we will warn our friends and acquaintances not to go there.

On this beautiful sunny Sunday, September 29, we took advantage of their terrace. Everything was perfect.

We sat in the terrace, they had the heaters going, late September and it was a bit chilly but still a very nice atmosphere. Waitress was excellent, food was very good. We had the perfect date night.

Reservation for 7 people at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Superb restaurant, very fancy and warm. Nothing to complain about the atmosphere, its easily a 5/5. In terms of service, it was the strongest point of the evening. The waitress was excellent throughout and handled all situations very well, most especially with one of the dishes. We didnt miss anything on the beverage side! Very effective! 5/5. In terms of dishes, the starters were excellent! Mac & Cheese, the new cheddar and chili soup, tempura shrimp and without forgetting the essential, the spinach dip! It was also heading towards a 5/5 before my main course arrived I was tempted by the Braised Beef and Shrimp Risotto, on the seasonal menu. We must not forget that we eat first and foremost with our eyes, and let s be honest that the photo of the menu is much more tempting than the dish presented this evening! Very minimal portion of risotto at first glance (the waitress immediately fixed this problem later) and overcooked and flavorless braised beef. Where was the sauce? Again very different from the picture on the menu. The shrimp was good though. In short, for a $38 dish, we expect much better, or at least delivered in the same way as it is presented to us on the menu. Overall rating: 4/5 THANKS!

Very bad experience!!!!! the restaurant was empty and the waitress told us that we have 2 hours and we have to leave after!!!!!! Food was very expensive and vey small quantities of food ( I bought the grilled tower for 100$ ) few pieces arugula of and 2 pieces of carrots with some beans, Rice was not fresh and cold! Fried chicken with empty inside and full of bathers! When we complained they offer us one piece of cake( just like brownies) make us sick and went to the bathroom writ after me my husband and my daughter !!!!!!

So disappointing!!! It used to be good but not anymore!!! In addition, there were several errors in our orders and the food was very dry! How can you miss a steak/filet mignon??? In addition to the waitress who showered us with extra $$$... A filet mignon with extra to have sauce to go with it, an empty plate, 3-4 vegetables that looked like a salad in a can... . its quite ordinary... its no longer worth eating there!!! Very disappointed !!!

We came after a golf game and ordered two Louisiana salads. We were shocked when we realized that all it was was spring mix and chicken. Knowing that the dressing is what makes the salad, we were hoping thered be more to it. The manager came immediately took it away. We ordered something else. The owner then came over and spoke to us. Billyand his partner are running a really amazing business. They took a situation which could have turned us off and by talking and giving incredible customer service. We will definitely be back and tell our friends!!!

2 of my friends ordered ribs today at lunch one with fries the other with a baked potatoes. The one who ordered with fries got a nice tall coleslaw the one who ordered a baked potatoes did not get coleslaw. We asked why and were told that is the way it is. The price is the same. Does that make sense? I don t think so

My son, boyfriend and I had diner tonight 15/07. My son loves ribs so he ordered the ribs from the kid s menu, my boyfriend the bavette and I took the spinach dip to share as I m not a big eater. The ribs were extremely dry, the flavour was ok, they normally use the same bbq sauce, it s good but even that couldn t save the dry, reheated, overcooked ribs. The bavette was pretty good, the piece of meat was cooked medium rare and had chimichurri sauce, definitely not authentic but pretty good for a chain restaurant, it came with mashed potatoes and vegetables which were ok. But the spinach dip with chips was absolutely horrible, the chips were uneatable, extremely stale, when I told the waitress all she said was that they came in a big batch and she could bring me some more of the same big batch. Of course that didn t solve anything as they were just as stale. Having worked with paying customers myself in the past I would have never charged a paying customer or at least offered to change the dish, neither of those were offered and I would definitely not go back. At the price that we pay to eat out, the food could at least be eatable, most of our dishes were still full, except for my boyfriend s so the waitress could definitely tell they were not to our liking. I would not recommend and we will definitely not be going back.

The food is always good at their place, no worries. The service, the same, always excellent. The atmosphere? It depends. On a Friday evening, you expect more but there, it was very calm! We were sitting at the bar. The waiter is professional and knows his job.

We had a really enjoyable dinner. The food was very good, quite tasty. Our server Leo was very professional. It got rather loud with celebrations at other tables so quiet conversation was not possible but we had a lovely evening. Definitely will be going back again to try more menu items.

First of all the service was A1, I have nothing to say. To begin with, my bloody cesar was just disgusting, it was so strong that I still have heartburn, it wasnt strong in alcohol, I didnt notice the alcohol because there was tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, not to mention the color which tended towards brownish rather than a normal light red clamato. My friend in front of me also grimaced with each sip. Since Im not a fan of steak I opted for a beef tartare, we were a group of 14 and I received my plate last while everyone else finished theirs. The only taste I noticed in my tartare was dijon mustard, its terrible how much of it there was. I felt like I was taking a mouthful of mustard every time. When I asked the waitress if I could comment, she replied too much mustard so clearly I wasnt the first to tell her. My tartare was accompanied by 2 slices of toast which I dont like either, as we are used to seeing (craqulin, potato chips) So for the price and the quality of the meal, I was left wanting more... And Im clearly not satisfied I do not recommend

As always my experience with this red stick is excellent. In my top 3 baton rouge in Quebec. All were very good (we had a cocktail which left us as desired and it was changed without hassle). Were going to come back. **Your cocktails are on point, several shortcomings compared to other branches. Normally I never try my wifes cocktails, but this time I had no choice. Big improvement

Used to love coming despite the high prices the food used to be good. Now you pay even higher prices and they give you half the portions they used to. The ribs are now half the size they used to be. We got a very basic chicken burger which had just a finger and a half and a plate with a tiny rack of ribs with 4 shrimps and 2 soft drinks and it came up to 80$ That is pure extortion. Seriously try bravo in Saint-Lazare double the portions and better food for almost half the price!

Went here for Mothers Day last year and it was amazing honestly what happened to your portions Im so disappointed to pay 80$ and leave still hungry wont be going back should have went and got a Big Mac instead what a waste (80$ no alcohol no appetizers just our two plates)

I ordered a Prime Rib medium rare for takeout. Got back to the motel and it was raw, so undercooked it was hard to cut and chew, in the garbage it went. Called to explain to the manager. Matthew, the manager was absolutely outstanding! He couldnt have been nicer or more understanding, huge kudos to him. He offered me a replacement coupon and when I redeemed it, ordering the same thing, the steak was medium with not a trace of pink. I am in from Ontario every 2 weeks, Ill try St-Hubert next time? Addendum: received a phone call from Pierre Nault this morning. He could not have been more helpful, considerate and kind. A bad experience turned into an excellent one, thank you M. Nault

I ate a FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH it was dry and the sandwich was stuffed with multiple pieces of meat which made it difficult to eat without dropping pieces and the coleslaw was minced in small pieces which kept falling out of my sandwich. I was expecting much better from Baton Rouge! I would have given only 1 star, but the excellent service saved the score! Kid-friendliness: Excellent table service!

Food was good. But the bar and drinks menu is lacking. It doesn t match the atmosphere and aesthetic. They need to improve their bar. They don t carry high end drinks which doesn t make sense when you have a high end restaurant. Owners would make more money if they improved the bar. I ordered a manhattan. And it tasted like water and sugar. A manhattan is supposed to have a very strong whiskey taste. I ve travelled the world and drank at many bars. But that manhattan was by far the worst I ever had.

A delicious meal thai beef salad, but a ton of greens (a bit too much) great service and a wonderful atmosphere! A great place to eat!

went on thanksgiving, we were a group of 7 , our waitress was young and wasnt comfortable in english but was super nice! they had a water problem but she proposed alternatives! she proposed cocktails and we loved them, the food was great too but her service really made our night!

Tried the new pasta dish, looked great on the menu. Tasted disgusting and was sick for two days after that. And the bartender didn t care about us.

I order it all the time and I will say that for the most part the food is super good. The only thing is when I get it on week days (Mon-Thu) its not as good in my experience (not as fresh, not as well cooked). Otherwise on weekends its just amazing

Our waitress was fantastic, very understanding, and kind. Unfortunately we just simply did not enjoy our meals. A shame as we have been really trying to give this place a chance (I love steakhouses and we live nearby).

I booked a table to celebrate my mother s 90th birthday. Staff 100% great ! Food 75% can be improved The problem is this I booked a table thinking it would be quite around us WHAT A MISTAKE!!! We asked to be moved and the staff were great about that. Unfortunately even on the other side of the restaurant same problem Screaming children at several tables and very loud grown ups who think they re eating literally in a barn and we re suppose to accept parents who don t know how to manage their kids. I love kids ( I work in an elementary school ) but they need to learn when you are at a restaurant to show some manners. I understand bad behave children is something you can t control it s the parent s job. May I make a suggestion? Do one side of the restaurant for families with children only and the other side for adults only It was not pleasant and we were glad to leave Again, staff was 100 % they did their best to accommodate us. Won t be going back.

Ordered the chicken filets with fries, the batter wasnt cooked all the way through and unseasoned. The meal was overall less than average. I am not usually one to complain about plain, cooking but I could not even eat the chicken considering it was soggy with oil and did not taste like anything. I was very disappointed.

When I was young, taking a girl to Baton Rouge was the best outing you could do to impress her, but lets just say times have changed. Firstly, I don t know if it s the fault of the pandemic or the lack of labor, but the quality of the food has dropped considerably. At the price we pay for our dishes it seems to me that the quality should be there but that is definitely no longer the case. My cod tasted nothing, neither did my girlfriends pasta, lobster tail not well cooked, steak not good, vegetables cold. Even the crème brûlée and cheesecake didnt pass the test. In short, I was disappointed from A to Z when it came to the food. We work so hard for our money so I hate throwing money out the window and thats how I felt going to eat there.

First of all I would like to SAY BRAVO and THANK YOU for the speed of having had our table for 13 people 30 minutes in advance! the efficiency of our waitress Michelle as well as in serving us all. ON THE HOWEVER I have to be honest about the cooking as well and thats where unfortunately WE were because it was really all of US who were VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! my mothers lobster tail and mine was not cooked..... my mothers was taken back 3 TIMES!!!!! NOT COOKED. MY PASTA was so cooked that it was mushy so I only ate the 4 shrimps and 2 SCALLOPS. (I DIDNT HAVE A LOBSTER TAIL VIEWING THE STATE OF MY PLATE) MY DILLE HAD AN EXTREMELY EXAGGERATED SALAD THAT SHE HAD TO FIND where was the little hidden chicken. My sons steak (almost $65 plate) very poorly cooked AND without seasonings and what about the frozen vegetables...he left afterwards without dessert. My partner had a mini piece of black cod. Dessert: TASTELESS crème brûlée and my oreo crust cheesecake which was very burnt. A VERY SALTY BILL $$$$$ to end with a lot of disappointment and a Bitter taste to go back.

Terrible experience with baton rouge vaudreuil I order a chicken tender salad there was barely any chicken and no sauce. When I call the manager she said, they probably ran out of sauce. But next time we will add more chicken and a free desert. I noted everything down. I called back and I was only offered a free desert. Its not about the free item. Its the principal. I paid for someone I did not receive. Horrible never will order again. Stay away take the trip to Saint Jean
