Restaurant Zibo! Vaudreuil in Vaudreuil-Dorion

I went to this restaurant a few days ago for the first time. I went there alone. Always a great way to test the service. The atmosphere seemed relaxed. I ordered a burger as a main course with a starter of dumplings. If the starter was served quickly, the main course was different. More than 45 minutes of waiting for a burger served cold with fries in a restaurant that was half full. And again I had to intercept the waitress to find out when my dish would be served and threaten to leave the place. Do you want service at Zibo? Dont go there alone! I definitely dont recommend this restaurant after the experience.

Wow! We were passing through the region and wanted to make a cozy little stop really perfect! Our waitress, Andréanne, was super nice and funny. Despite your lack of a coffee cup to take away, she knew how to improvise and make us laugh. The cocktails were excellent as well as the food fresh and tasty. I highly recommend! THANKS! Food was good, we arrived on time for our reservation and our table wasnt ready. Then it took forever for someone to take our order and for us to get our food.

We went for several drinks. The starters were good but we were made to understand that it would have been better if we had had a full meal. However, we were at the bar on a Thursday evening between 5 and 7!

Far too expensive for the level of cuisine served! When you pay $30 for a meal salad it must truly have something unique!...This place has changed a lot, what a shame... music too loud, a choice of customers I imagine.

Great food, great restaurant, but the downside is the take out. We order here regularly and it takes us over an hour every time to get our food, half of the time it s cold. I ve waited to see if things will change, but we order at a very regular rate over the past few months and it s the same every time. It doesn t matter what plate we get, it s the same experience, from Mac and cheese to fancier meals. We also aren t ordering on busy weekends or Fridays, I m just writing this for the owner to see rather than to leave a bad message, I ll be happy to change my review if I feel like we see a change. We are loyal customers even if we get disappointed every time we take out.

Food is good only if you are dining. Ordered twice for a pickup and chicken is improperly done! Super slow service.

Whoa. This steak!!! Ive been to several steakhouses where you had to accept the steak because of the restaurants reputation, and it was blah, at a high price. Tonight this steak was just perfect. I took the trouble to tell the cook. The only downside was the childrens portion.

The food was good ,and the service was good.

First time, and I absolutely loved it! I was with my wife and two granddaughters. Will definitely go again. Recommended to a friend, and they went last Thursday and was very impressed. Keep up the good work!

Love it! The food was great and so was the atmosphere was bumping and fun! I only docked the service because it was long waits to get served at the beginning otherwise loved it!

Great place for any type of evening/dinner! The entrees are slightly pricey, but the meals are totally worth it. The portions are very generous and the service has been perfect every time I have been there. Parking: More than enough.

Excellent, affordable price I ordered the mozzarela pizza, it was good but very little garnished.

Not bad, but prices are higher than I would like for the value I am getting. Service was very good, although out of 3 visits, the servers forgot to bring utensils twice. I would go if invited.

The portion size was very small

We went to eat at Zibo de Vaudreuil, we ordered hamburgers with salad or fries, at the price of $24.99, my surprise was when we received our hamburgers , they were rather small and ordinary, at that price I I at least expected the bread and meat of this hamburger to be more generous, and no! They are the same size as those at Mc Do. And the quantity of fries is very small. We will definitely never go back there again. Too bad because before this restaurant was at the top of the game.

We arrived and the place was full; 20 minutes to get a table. No time to let us look at the menu, the waitress wants to know what we want! I understood why when I wanted to order, she was running everywhere horrible squid starter! Hard and rubbery. We asked for a replacement and it was the same?! Plate of dry and hard flank steak with no taste. My friend had ravioli and, likewise, she didnt finish her plate. Didnt like it at all... Tasteless! Expensive and average desserts. I dont understand why the restaurant is full with mediocre or passable food??? Next time, well eat our flank steak at La Maison Verte! Nothing compares with Zibo! We wont go back. Too expensive for disappointing quality.

My daughter celebrated her 20th birthday yesterday and we went to dinner at Zibo Vaudreuil. We were treated like little onignos from start to finish. We were seated at the nicest spot in the restaurant. We even received a very nice surprise, thank you very much! Mélanie who took care of us is super pleasant and she listened at all times, a real gem. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! I chose the tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, very tasty! What a beautiful evening! Big THANK YOU VERY MUCH for everything Zibo Vaudreuil, the best restaurant ever! To return soon

Excellent! Enjoyed a terrific supper with family on Sunday. The food choices were delicious, imaginative and well-portioned. The service was atrocious, the absolute worst service I have experienced in years. We had reservations still had to wait 35 minutes to get seated. And then waited for cocktails she got the order wrong, appetizers she forgot 2 of them and then forgot a whole meal. Eventually got it after 12 minutes of everyone at the tables meal. Then of course waited for our bill as she was too busy with the men at the other table. And had to hunt her down when ordering more drinks. I will not ever go back. I DONT RECOMMEND ZIBO RESTAURANT VAUDREUIL. ABSOLUTELY AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE

it was my first time there and my last, it was very loud, calamari were very low quality, they were over cooked and had freezer burn taste, worst fried calamari ever and we have tried a lot in many restaurants, when the waitress asked how we liked it we told her we didnt and that was as far as the conversation went, had the shared platter with my husband and it was not worth the price. 2 pepsi for $7 seems a bit excessive in my opinion. Tried it once but not worth a repeat visit, sorry.

Last night was not your best.arrived at 6:00.the restaurant was 1/4 full. Took 1hour 30 mins to get 2 steaks and fries. The order first came with rice and soggy vegetables,went back and again had the same rice and veggies.The server was obviously embarrassed but professional, problem was in the kitchen??.just couldnt get fries. Steak was cold and fries eventually came cold too.we did get free dessert for our troubles.

Disappointed after reading such great reviews. - food was good however portions are much smaller than other similarly priced restaurants, especially the appetizers - glasses of wine are tiny for $22.50 min - busboy cleaning table AND chairs with same cloth - disgusting!

Excellent meal. Good courteous service, good recommendations from the waiters. I thought it was not suitable for children but on the contrary, they have a menu for little ones and it is well suited.

Service was good but food was flavourless. Way over priced for what it offers. Been here more than once to give it a chance- regretted it. Rather go to baton rouge next door.

Honestly such a disappointment, I went to zibo because I thought it was higher class than some other restaurants but oh was I wrong. Portions are a joke for the price, I don t mind expensive food but actually give me some. Wait time was disastrous, took 45 min to get our check. Wouldn t go back, throughly disappointed. 2 stars was for my server, kinda dans la lune but kind either way.

I had driven from Cornwall to enjoy some relaxing family dinner. We had a warm welcome by the server and the ambience was beautiful. I was excited by the choices they had when I read the menu. We ordered the Oriental salad, calamari, and mushroom pasta, and my son had string fries and pizza. The salad was the best thing we had; with the layers of flavours and different textures. Calamari was very plain and the aioli did not compliment the dish. Being a mushroom lover, I was very excited for my mushroom pasta! Unfortunately when I tried it; my wife and I was sadly disappointed!!! It was lacking in seasoning and flavour; I had to sprinkle 20 dashes of salt to bare the boredom of this dish. The male server was very observant and noticed I did not like the dish so he mentioned it to my female server; who then offered desert to make things better . All in all I thought that was a very well managed restaurant with amazing service staff! Flavours in the dishes did not correlate with the ambiance and service. It has soo much potential

Good atmosphere Service ok No food available. I ordered 3 starters which they didnt have. Then I knew that the sandwiches were pre-made so no modifications possible... dont seem fresh... I finally ordered a pizza that was missing some ingredients... sorry answer we dont have in stock... I would have liked to know that before. Also at our California sandwich table supposed to have avocados, no sign of avocados in the sandwich. Very disappointed for our first experience.

Weve been there several times and weve always been well received. The service is fast and the waiters are very friendly. The dishes are good. The price may be a little high but its still reasonable.

Zibo and Killian, an amazing server, saved our evening ! We started out at another restaurant where we had a reservation but they had the worst tables to offer us. So we ended up leaving and Zibo made space for us on a busy Saturday! The food was great as usual and the service Killian was AMAZING! Had a great evening!

We visited the restaurant on Saturday May 13th, what a lovely evening, the atmosphere was very relaxed, the food was delicious, we had the meal to share for 2, it was very good. In addition the service was really up to par we had Claudia I think or Claudie really very kind and attentive, we often tend to share bad experiences but this one was a really pleasant one, thanks to the high caliber waitress this evening there!

I luv this place. Ive had the General Tao. Really good and a salad with shrimp and chicken marinated. This was very good. The pizza was ok.Very nice place. You can sit outside or inside and there is plenty of room. Waiters and waitresses are always great. They answer your questions. Very clean. Parking: Lots of room to park

Went around 2000h for dinner with the fam. Nice atmosphere, buuuuuuuuuttttttttt would not recommend the place for food. I ordered the Tagliatelle with wild mushrooms pasta. I asked to get the red sauce instead of the cream sauce, was told I can t substitute the sauce. I then asked if I could get a stabby pasta (like farfalle or penne, etc.) instead of the tagliatelle, and was told can t do substitution whatsoever. Not that they didn t have different shape pastas, LOL!! Anyhoo, my order arrived and the waitstaff was correct it was a light creamy sauce ; light in the sense that it was watered down soooooo much! It felt like it was a cup of pasta water with a dash of cream! Had no flavour not even with me adding pepper, chilli oil (also not spicy at all) & topped with Parmesan cheese. We also ordered a pizza and it was not that great! Dr. Oetker has a better tasting pizza than this place yes, the frozen kind! Wouldn t recommend this place at all unless you have to be drunk to be able to enjoy the food at this place!

Very disappointed. Been long time customer. Ordered Sangria pitcher, came tasting like water. Cannot get anyone s attention to complain, head down and power through. Had to wait over 20 minutes to get anyone s help, no table check bill took forever. Ordered a glass of wine but they charged us each for the first glass that was not up to any par. Not happy at all and we will find another place to eat.

I enjoyed it, I was going there for the first time. Beautiful presentation of the plates. My salmon is good but I dont give it 5 stars On the other hand, my partners plate of fettuchini with shrimp and lobster is excellent, he loves it, he has ordered it several times and always so delicious and generous in seafood, it deserves a 5 star The only negative point is the lack of staff which means a wait of 15 minutes before getting a table.

Excellent service and food

Low on staff. What little staff there was were not attentive. Food is overpriced, bland and overcooked. Ordered the lobster pasta and it was overcooked and not as described. (Additionally, it had almost no lobster.) Would stay away from this place unless you re desperate. The Pizza and drinks were good, but that doesn t make up for the lack of service.

They found the formula. They figured it out. I bow to the wise minds I seek to understand. Well done.

A real joke

Hello everyone! I will share with you my unpleasant experience at the ZIBO restaurant in Vaudreuil. On Saturday September 9, 2023, I went to celebrate my birthday, with 10 of my guests, in this restaurant mentioned above. When we arrived we noticed that everything we ordered was taking a long time to arrive at our table. So far tolerable! But I noticed that often forgetting to replace drinks took 30 to 40 minutes. The guests continued to dry out. But that wasnt the worst. The worst is yet to come. When ordering the dessert menu, we were asked to leave the restaurant, as the table was reserved at that time, in which we had just finished our dishes. I thought it was a lack of common sense, absurd! Imagine that on your birthday you are kicked out, due to the incompetence of the restaurants staff management regarding the long waiting time for each service. Where am I responsible for myself and my guests? In short, I dont advise anyone to celebrate ANYTHING in this ZIBO restaurant. TOTAL FRUSTRATION. And I still had to apologize to my guests. And another very important detail: the steak has more sass than anything else and the dish costs more than $50 for a steak. In addition to being expensive, this restaurant is very expensive for what it presents. Zibo restaurant not recommended! Negative memory!

Drinks and food are great

I eat at this restaurant twice a week and I absolutely love it. During lunch hours the service is superbe. Unfortunately tonight at the reception the service was not at the usual level. Very sad to see that, although we did not have a reservation and of course realized we had to accommodate somehow, we were not offered any suggestion or choice but a stern no to any request. I will still come for lunch anyway because the food is excellent and the waitresses a lot more friendly.

Service was very slow and the food was cold

Our group had a very good food experience, unbelievable. However, bartender inexperienced; I explained to our waiter how we like our mojitos- the fresh mint ground in the glass, not just dropped in glass; Cuban rum if possible & legal 1.5 ounces. After a very disappointing first round of drinks , most not drank after 1st sip; I ordered a 2nd round & asked for double shots - 3 ounces of rum as there was too much soda water in 1st drink order & less rum. Organizing a happy group event; I was not wholly satisfied with our groups mixed reviews overall due to poor quality of drinks served.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience dining at Zibo Vaudreuil! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a great meal. The service was top-notch; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. As for the food, it was exceptional. I ordered the Venice Veggie Burger and my wife had the Cheese and Bacon burger. Both were cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. To top off an already wonderful meal, I enjoyed the Key Lime Pie for dessert definitely a must-try! Overall, I highly recommend Zibo Vaudreuil for its ambiance, outstanding food quality, and excellent service. Cant wait to go back! Vegetarian options: Veggie burger was awesome

Dinner in a very pleasant place on June 8, 2023. Not a huge quantity in the dishes but ultimately it was quite enough with a good bottle of red . We will go back . Parking: Several restaurants and ample parking available.

Love this restaurant! We are regular customers! My husband and I often go on weeknights when its not too busy and we usually have the same lovely waitress who takes very good care of us. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Its comfortable and has a very nice ambiance. So happy to have this wonderful restaurant in the area :)
