I paid $26.42 which I couldnt even eat one piece of lamb.Nan bread was tasteless.It was total waste of my money.I am starving now at my work place .I am very upset because i have nothing to eat till morning.

This restaurant is as close to perfection as you can get . The excellent food is only outmatched by the warm welcome you receive when you walk in. Dont allow the huge menu to make you doubt the quality. Every dish I have ordered in the past 3 years was amazing. We used to go to Sahib in Pointe Claire but Royal Tandouri has won us over. Spent 19$ on butter chicken just to have it tasted like wheat flour..never recommended.. And mango lassi tasted like milk.. wasted money

Love this restaurant and they re food and have been a regular since they opened. My only complaint is every few months they change their take out containers to a smaller size, sheinkflation. Sucks cause the portions used to be good and now they suck. I hope they reconsider changing it back. We are big fans of the food at our house and hope to continue being customers.

Been three times, and every time the food is really delicious. I prefer goat and lamb meat, especially in stews and curries, and its always available and super tender. Im always very impressed by the texture of the meats (as it indicates its been stewed for a long time). The food is flavourful- and the ingredients seem somewhat fresh (ginger spears in curry i had was tender but also crunchy, the spring onions still had crunch even though they were cooked). I like how there was always varying textures in the food I had, it didnt skimp out on flavour, and that there were many options on the menu. The only things that would need improvement are not related to the food- the tables we sat at were obviously not cleaned, and the menu had certain dish descriptions that were identical to other ones on the menu (so while theyre different, the customer doesnt know how)

I have never dined-in but for every single delivery order Ive placed, theyve given consistently great tasting food. Not once have I had a negative opinion of the delivered food. Good quantity considering the price. Ive ordered Seekh kabab, tandoori chicken, full chicken, biriyani and starters routinely and the flavors are great every single time. Definitely recommend giving them a shot!

Went there from south shore of Montreal, And it was really good experience. Restaurant was very neat and clean. we ordered chicken Karahi and fish with salad , salad was really fresh and crunchy. Chicken Karachi was well cooked, it was more like a homemade food without any readymade spices ,flavourful food with tempting aroma. Lady at the front desk was welcoming , polite,friendly and helpful ,not only with us but with other customers as well. Owner of the restaurant was also nice and friendly.we will definitely go there again , highly recommended if you are looking for something good, you won t be disappointed. Just ordered through Uber eats and the food was very very tasty and they were very accommodating with the taste we needed. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Paneer tikka masala and naan. We wanted it spicy and it turned out exactly as our expectations. Thank you for this great taste. Ps: Though we were just a tourist in Montreal so won t be able to eat here often, but if ever you open in Toronto do let us know. Vegetarian options: The Paneer tikka masala was just wow. Would love to have this taste often in Toronto.

I walked in at 6:45pm on a Sunday for dinner for 2. For privacy, I wanted a booth. The restaurant was 1/4 full. They refused a booth because they said it was for 4 people or more. They said they were expecting lots of people because it was Ramadan. I explained that we won t be more than an hour, but the manager refused. I was rather insulted as my money was not welcome because we were only 2! I guess I m not an important enough patron to be served during Ramadan. I felt discriminated against. Other groups could have easily been given a table, which could easily have been extended for 4 or more people. Why the preference? I cannot recommend this establishment as their customer service and management are left to be desired. I did not feel welcome. Nor will I ever return! We did not stay. We walked out to look for a more welcoming restaurant Baton Rouge :)

The buffet formula is really nice. All the dishes are good. Too bad the buffet is only offered for lunch. The buffet is available for dinner during the Ramadan period; Its time to take advantage of it. Vegetarian options: It is possible to order vegetarian main dishes.

We visited on the day of chaat raat without a reservation for the iftar buffet. The restaurant is fairly small, and the food selection is limited, but each dish was delicious. They charge $20 per person. The service was slow because they were understaffed, but overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend it.

Went there for pick-up order. Orderd full chargha chicken and naan. Chicken was delicious, but Naan was too buttery. I didnt know they put the butter on the naan. Otherwise, I had asked them not to put butter on it. I think real naan doesnt have anything to do with butter. Anyway, the chicken was yummy. I came from Alberta and was craving for real Pakistani taste, finally found it here. I would definitely recommend this place. Clean inside and outside.

You will have good memories of this place because it is known for having good food, the owners are friendly and courteous. Dishes are generous and delicious at a reasonable price. The only downside, although the owners are very nice and the service is only in English. Buffet on weekends.

Its the first time Ive ordered food from there and it wont be the last. I used to drive 45 minutes to Montreal just to eat at a specific restaurant for over 10 years. I recently moved to Vaudreuil and today I tried their food. Unfortunately, I wont be going back to my favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal anytime soon, because now I have one just 7 minutes from home. The most important dish for me is the bhindi masala and this restaurant went beyond my expectations. Ive tried this dish in other restaurants in Montreal and the reason I kept going there for 10 years is that I couldnt find another one with such good bhindi. The one at this place is delightful. Other dishes I ordered were baingan bharta, matar pulao, naan and vegetarian samosas. Everything was delicious and reminded me of my favorite restaurant. I didnt get to see the service, but the lady at the cashier was very friendly, but thats normal for Indians. Love their food and their people.

I had worst experience today and it was our last visit to this restaurant for rest of life . They ruined our weekend .we used to order food for birthdays and regular basis if need . Their staff was so mean towards us especially the young boy waiter We went for lunch with 2 kids one three years old and one is 10 it was buffet. My son doesn t eat spicy so I told them we want to order fries and we ordered 2 buffet for me and my husband 3 plates of fries for kids and 4 coke . Still they were looking so worried that May be my son will eat with us and they said you cannot share food with kids I was surprised that I already told them they will eat fries as my son is picky eater also he is allergic to spicy food . Then they said you can share with your daughter she is free but not with son I was again surprised if she will eat and if it s not free of course we will pay . In the mean time they came again and again to make sure my son is not eating from our buffet also how much my 3 year old daughter is eating she took just little bit fruits I put food in 2 plates because I didn t want to mix salan with Dahi bhary and salad they asked us you have 3 buffet we again said no 2 buffet . then at the end they mentioned to my husband that you didn t clean your plate as some food left in the plate coz it was too salty .they also said just be careful next time don t waste our food my husband said sometimes it happens coz everytime buffet is changed and we are not used to for diff taste .anyways I didn t eat much just because of their mean behaviour also the way the guy was staring our food . And I am already unwell as I already have Svt tychycardia and pregnancy . I just want to say if you are going with kids just be careful with their behaviour and also if you are loosing business that doesn t mean you misbehave people especially people with kids .

The food taste has deteriorated.

We normally order food from here, however today the food was extremely salty and barely eatable. I called in to tell them not even expecting anything and whoever picked up the phone was super rude. They tried to explain how I had to tell them to put less salt next time because they wouldn t know, but normally we never have to say anything and the food is usually good. To whoever I spoke to today, I really do hope you work on your customer skills because you literally lost a customer. If I had an option of giving 0 stars, I definitely would.

Food is very well presented and deliciously made. The staff members are nice. The service is also good. I took one star because I believe the young gentle lady who was serving us needs some sort of customer services training. She was passing by every 3 to 5 minutes asking if everything is ok even when she gets n the way taking food to/from other customers. This may be seen as not comfortable by some customers. And also its recommended to wear some smile in dealing with customers. Other than that everything was great and we had good experience at Royal Tandoori Grill and I do recommend the restaurant.

They are so expensive, and the food is so little and on top of that, they call you out for not giving tip. I would give a tip but since to good itself is so expensive I didnt. If increasing prices isnt working for you then this business is not for you. Dont ask for tip, its disgraceful, it feels like you are begging, I its emotionally hard to say no to someone who is begging

I went to Royal Tandoori Grill with a group last night. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Karahi, Butter Chicken, Seekh Kabob, Daal Mash, naan, Kheer, Gulab Jaman, regular tea and Kashmiri Tea. Biryani was the best among them. All sweet dishes were great and tea was good too. Did not like chicken Karahi because it was not Karahi at all. It was more like chicken quorma sort of thing. Restaurant has good sitting. It is clean and staff was courteous.

Both the chicken tikka masala and the chicken korma were amazing, on par with our favorite restaurant in Toronto. The portions were generous.

I have tried every place around, this has flavour. I wish the spicy was more spicy but it isn t flat like most other restaurants. I am so happy they have a buffet and I need to go!! The flavours are Devine!!! I am so happy I found this place!!!!
