We went to watch a match and carefully picked our table based on the TV showing it. Halfway through the game surprise! they switched the channel. We asked four different people about it, and all we got were vague, evasive answers. Hilarious, right? A sports bar where you *can t* watch the game. Now that s next-level irony.

Food is ok. Service was good. I thought this was a sports bar so we came here to watch the football game on a Sunday. The game started with sound but half way through they put music on after asking several times to change so we could hear the game but nothing was done. If you want to watch a game with actual sound, this is NOT the place!

The food is a real disaster. I ordered a steak meal with rice and fries. The steak was tough as mush and without spices. No taste, no vegetables. The fries were soaked in oil, the white rice so dry and tasteless. Not to mention the exorbitant bill for the little quality on the plate. I dont mind paying but its so mediocre that its better to eat a kraft dinner from Dollarama!!!

I am really disappointed with my experience here. The service was just lousy. The waiters and waitresses were not welcoming at all. What I noticed was that they completely changed their behavior and smile depending on the people ... . If you have sensitive feelings look elsewhere.

I just moved to Vaudreuil 4 months ago and discovered LaCage: its a great place, especially the food.

Bad service because we were young people! Especially by Mélanie, we waited a really long time for our bill and she never came to see us.

Got seated fast but then waited a ridiculously long time for the menus, then to order our drinks which we said we were also ready to order food but she didnt take the order for the food. We had 3 young kids under 4 with us and they were already starting to be over it. We were hungry. Drinks arrive about 20 minutes later and we finally order our food. Another 20 minutes to receive the entrees and we asked for the kids plates. She waited for our entrees to be finished before putting in our main meals through the kitchen. Waited about 45 minutes for our tartares to arrive which mine was tasteless. Didnt even bother saying a thing I simply left it a quarter eaten and we asked for the bill. We were fed up. Hubby asked for another beer during his main meal and it was forgotten twice!! She came twice at the table to see us empty-handed and then blamed the forgotten beer on the computer system. Kids deserts she offers mr.freeze which the kids get excited about and then comes back to say they arent frozen enough. Anyways we are usually happy with this place but today we are over it. Hoping you guys find more staff because we for sure wont be back with this kind of service for 200$!

La Cage is a fantastic spot to stop and have a bite! I can honestly say that I am jealous that we dont have this kind of atmosphere in the Ottawa area. If you are reading this and are in transit from Montreal to Ottawa, stop here and have an experience! I can very highly recommend the bison sliders with a side of perfectly made poutine! Service was fantastic - the staff are very attentive and friendly. Will definitely remember this stop as a great experience. Merci tous a La Cage!

Absolutely ridiculous experience tonight when we went to ask if there was room for us to dine. The kid with the glasses at the front immediately asked if we had reservations and we said no. He shrugged and said they were full. When we asked why are there tables empty and if he could check he turned his computer screen and shrugged again. I said it s ridiculous and he said don t come back . Sad that it comes to hiring such individuals to be customer facing. No waiting list or any solution, driving away customers because we will never attempt to go back. How do you run a restaurant business on 100% reservations? Baton Rouge was truly busy and moved things around to seat us in 40 minutes.

Arrived at 1:00 p.m., after the lunch rush. Almost no tables occupied. 15 minutes before taking my order. I told the waitress I had to leave at 2:00 p.m. She told me no problem. I received my dish at 1:50 p.m.! 10 minutes to eat a steak, zero pleasant.

One of the best cage restaurants. If youre at the bar and your server is petroula or Lola youre in good hands. They will cheer you up even if your team loses.

We were there this evening for dinner with 6 people. Michael our server was amazing! Eating was ok. Nothing spectacular except the Poke Bowl.

Ordered the steak frites and the steak size was a joke compared to the picture in the menu and meat was tough. Also, they made a mistake on my order. Other than that it was just ok. Waitress seemed very rushed and not very interested. Lastly, bus boy tried to take our plates and we werent even half way done... Very annoying when trying to enjoy a meal

I reserved a place at the bar for 7 p.m. for New Years Eve but I had to wait 1 hour to get a place at the bar! The restaurant manager wanted to offer a table at the back of the restaurant, what a brilliant idea! When I got my place at the bar and after 15 minutes no waitress came to see me to take the order, they were too busy having a drink with customers even though I was a regular customer every Thursday I had to go elsewhere to get better service! I find this a very ordinary service

Very good food, good portion, nice atmosphere. But service...hmmm..I think if we would have had a different server our experience would have been much better. Firstly, no idea why but he could wear a checked shirt...not dressed in black and cap like the others, he lacked delicacy and ouchh, much too tactile The bad habit of touching people when he speaks! Its No! In addition, for my daughters party, I went to see him to ask if she could have a little happy birthday tune (my request was clear) because we noticed twice during our meal that tables where waiters were going to wear the cake while clapping your hands. And well disappointment, he only came to wear the cake saying Im going to spare you my big voice ... not great ... My daughter was sad. In addition, no more than 5 minutes Near, well another table is underlined a party by 5 waiters. It left me with a bitter taste.

Friendly service from the time we were seated until we left. Food was tasty and good value for money. It is a bit noisy when the place gets full, but that seems to be the case everywhere these days. Ample free parking at the restaurant is a plus. Service was offered in both English and French. We enjoyed our meals and will return.

We, me and my son arrived without an appointment yesterday around 6:15 p.m. After 15 minutes of waiting, they asked us to sit in a section where there was no server, they would come and get us when our table was ready. 50 minutes later... I inquire about the deadline. The usher doesnt know because they put the reservations ahead of us. We left without eating!!! So if you really want to overpay for the ambiance, make a reservation. For us... never again in the cage.

La Cage, Vaudreuil lost future clients. Their waitress was rude, aggressive and not a good waiter at all. She also harassed the clients for more tip after not serving them correctly.

Well, They lost us as a client . That is for sure. We walked in at 1130, first client in the place, by 1 pm, we were still at the table, trying to find our waiter, hoping to MAYBE get to the dessert!? well, that never happened. We ended up leaving. We just cant be here any longer anymore, I mean, 1.5 hours later is more than being patient to get service. Too bad, so sad, la cage. Get your stuff together. We are NEVER coming back here.

I visited around 7 La Cage in 4 different cities in the region of Quebec. This one is by far the best. The staff is very friendly and cooperative on a very busy night when the HABS are playing the Leafs. A giant screen for the game. The endless popcorn was fresh and tasty. I went for a bloody Cesar then the monster Nachos. The main was a Buffalo Chicken Berger. The booking system online is tricky, sometimes it says you are on waiting list, make sure it is confirmed.

We had a nice kind server but the atmosphere was bad, the staff seemed stressed and the service was slow. Food was good but I would not go back.

I love La Cage de Vaudreuil! The Vaudreuil Cage is great! Always good service, veggie burger options, beautiful decor that stands out from the rest (especially during the holidays) and we are always satisfied with our food. Children and teenagers also eat very well and love the free popcorn! *Important to make reservations as this restaurant is a popular destination! (especially during hockey games) Can also accommodate large groups of people.

I ordered delivery and not only did my dessert not come with ice cream as advertised, the beers I ordered were room temperature. Now I can t have a beer with my meal because I have to wait for it to cool down in the fridge. I was charged full price for the dessert. Very disappointing.

Spent ~ $70 at the bar on a meal + 3 beer. Excused myself to go to the washroom for ~ 2minutes, and returned to my seat to find they threw away my meal, a $10 beer as well as my paid for receipt. PS: If you try to contact them, they will only talk to you based on their secret code on the paid receipt that THEY THREW AWAY!!! Completely Unacceptable! This is a High Priced fast food joint that serves beer.

The chicken wings werent crispy enough. As well, for me at least, the 9-1-1 sauce wasnt that spicy for its name. It tasted like they added tabasco sauce or something mild and named it as if were a habanero type sauce. Then me and my cousin and I ordered some rum and coke, mostly tasted coke in it. plus, I had ordered whiskey and coke, which tasted the same as the rum and coke. On top of that, we were waiting about 10 minutes only to be moved to another table, but we got a free shot from our waiter when he found out we were inuit. But that still doesnt get my eski approval for the not so okay food and drinks.

I have visited here a few times with my kids. We love the free popcorn that you can serve yourself. Not to mention $3 kids meals with refillable drinks and ice cream for dessert. Austin our server was super friendly, patient and checked on us at the perfect times. He put a huge smile on my girls faces so that really made our outing extra special ! I would recommend this spot for friends, familys, date night and everything in between

The restaurants nice overall, comparable to other locations. However this one falls short on accommodations. They had seated us at a table with a tiny shelf in between us and the next table attached together. We were basically sharing our table with 2 strangers. This makes things a little impersonal, and awkward as the people who are basically sitting at the same table as us were having a conversation that was not the most appropriate. Its one thing sitting at a bar but this was in the dining room. They had other tables for 2 available, they were open up until the point we left. If it were a question of space due to an influx of business I may understand. That was not the case. Some tables are set up very strange, so that people are sitting with strangers at the same table. Its ridiculous that you have to ask for your own table for 2 people. The food was excellent, no complaints there. The server seemed unfamiliar with the new menu, she was only so attentive to us and our uninvited guests. I would probably visit another location.

Unfortunately La cage aux sports de Vaudreuil will no longer be a restaurant of choice for my sports teams. If you have children in your group, you are not welcome. The cage prefers adults who consume alcohol. If you say you have 25 children, she will tell you that they are full even two months in advance. In short, I dont recommend the place. The place to go with a sports team is the Mulligan bistro (Red River golf course) 20 minutes from the Cage. This bistro is designed for children where they can eat, listen to TV on screens and play games. Forget the Cage poor customer service

I went on a Friday night. It is a good idea to reserve before going as there was a huge lineup. I took the beef tartar it was ok not worth the price the portion wasnt a lot for the meal option. The poutine was really good and they have nice drink options as well. For the drink I took the one with Apple juice forgot the name and it was ok as well. For the desert I took the creme brule it was good. There was a nice vibe as well since it was a Friday night. Our waitress gave one of the best services I ever saw despite it being so busy. They also gave free popcorn which was nice.

This was the worst experience that we have ever had! The Brittany waitress we had was the worst ever. Had to ask many times for the same things that we had already ordered! she also forgot to bring us a lot of stuff! Our food was all cold for all 9 of us. We only got our popcorn after we got our food. The waitress we had didn t even know how to pour beer properly, we re at a sports bar and she pours 3/4 of a glass of foam! we told the waitress we have 3 birthdays at the same table and they just bought the cake and that s it no happy birthday no nothing. But they were doing it to other people. This service is GARBAGE, Never coming back here!

The food is good but the waitresses clothes are made sexy like at Hooters. This is not appropriate in 2022. I thought it was a family restaurant, especially since on Sundays you attract families with the $3 per child. Not cool

We were a group of young hockey players on a Sunday lunchtime. Poor service from Riz. She forgets 3 orders.....never comes to validate if the rest of the group is ok....I had to go to the kitchen after 1h30 Moreover, we are going to say it, in 2022, serving children in t-shirts revealing the entire bust... seems to me that it is out. A Sunday lunchtime with a promotion for kids. It looks cheap. The cage isnt that good, its cheap.

I stopped by on a rather busy Friday night Habs game and only waited 5 minutes before being seated (made no reservations). Our waitress was very professional, polite and came by frequently to see how everything was going. We didnt wait long for our food to arrive. Quite surprised seeing how it was hockey night. Ribs were good, flavourful, poutine portion size was ample and the cesar salad added a healthy dose of green . Will definitely go back again.

Always excellent. Lots of new employees and it seemed a bit, but it will settle down soon. The food was delicious for everyone. The price is medium-high and has increased since Covid... Some plates that I really liked are missing. Recommended!

On a eu un super service. Très bel espace pour regarder un match de sport en direct. Avec le son en plus!! À notre demande. Yé (5 étoiles). Dans notre cas, cétait un match de léquipe canadienne de hockey féminin (Championnats mondiaux). On a adoré les grands écrans (tennis ici, hockey là). Mon taco de poisson était bon. On nous a même servi du popcorn.

Went two nights in a row this week. Service was great (friendly, courteous & quick) drinks were fresh & delicious, as well as the food! No complaints & would recommend! Ps. Would maybe suggest making a reservation to ensure a table, as they do get quite busy (but the wait times werent long at all, especially considering how busy they were both nights - Thursday & Friday)

This was my first experience this evening and my god I wasnt disappointed for the most part because of our waitress Daphnée, she knew her stuff! explained to us the discounts of the week, advised us, talked to us about the application, what we have now! moreover I suffer from anxiety and she really made me feel that I had no crisis, no desire to leave even want to come back again and even !! And the steak that I ate it was really good in any case thank you my beautiful daphnée

Gauvain was our amazing server and his service was impeccable. Very friendly and hard worker during rush hours. I highly recommend this place. Especially if you are into hockey or football games

Update: An experience with a restaurant can only be as good as the people you have the pleasure or displeasure of interacting with. My previous experience left a sour taste in my mouth, which is why when i was contacted by Mr.Gareau-Cyr, I had low expectations. I could not have been more wrong! He took the time to contact me, get the timeline on what happened and made sure to listen and ask pertinent questions about the experience. I was then compensated for the bad experience and today when i took advantage of that compensation he made sure to come to the counter and ensure the rebate was properly applied and subsequently say hi. He even cracked a joke about the meal being free if there was something missing before proceeding to steal the bag of popcorn. ( and returning of course). Truly made things right and i was left convinced that whatever led to the initial mistake was... or will be corrected appropriately. Which is a feeling i rarely get from other mistakes when ordering for pickup. Initial review: Did pickup a week ago. Ordered the trio offensive. Supposed to come with popcorn. I noticed i didnt have any so i asked the receptionist and she told me it didnt come with popcorn. Got home and checked the website to find out she was wrong. Called back immidiately and was told too bad, we are too busy, call back later. Called back at 10, was told it could be fixed online.... that was wrong. Then called back 2 days later and they took my number but havent heard since. So basically, if they dont get your order right, tooooooo baaaddddd! They couldnt care less... they already have your money. Thats my last order there.

Very nice place to have a beer with friends. The dishes are good and the prices are not too bad. The atmosphere is very good and the waitresses are cordial and smiling. The only downside is that the seats at the bar are uncomfortable and the popcorn is too salty. I will definitely go back there. In addition to Tuesdays, the pitcher is $10. December 2022: Pitchers are now $15 on Tuesdays but its still very affordable. I always recommend this place

We hadnt been there for 4 years because of the ridiculous prices, but the soccer world brought us back. For the atmosphere, its good. As for the food, its average. The tacos are disgusting.... my burger was okay. We ask for a GLASS of beer and the barmaid offers us a pint!? She tells us that it is the size of a glass.... My wife paid without really looking at the details of the bill. At home she realizes weve been charged for pints!!! Wow... . And what about the prices which have exploded!! For average food, no thanks, its over.

Worse experience EVER. Avoid in all cost! During heatwaves, they shut down the AC to save money on customers or to make people leave faster. It came to the point it was colder outside when degrees were 31°. Food was great, prices hiked post Covid opening. No one checked on our tabel; served fries w/o salt. No one to ask, too busy. I rather eat Macdo next time, at least its cold.

I ordered a medium rare steak, which arrived almost completely cooked twice. After the second I said look Im hungry Im going to eat it like that its ok (great waitress) told me shes going to send it back although theres no problem. The manager comes to see me personally (super-aggressive attitude, always great to have in an environment like this) tells me that he can do completely other things to me if Im not happy. I, who certainly dont want to make him break something by insulting him, tell him no, dont worry, Im going to eat him like that! The waitress, also a little shocked and frightened by his visit to my table, apologized, telling me that she didnt know he was going to react like that! So in 2 hours, I didnt eat much for a $160 dinner. I recommend if you are someone who doesnt worry about money, who comes to eat alone and who likes surprises and thrills

The food and service is very fast, except for the slot machine bar side. Besides losing money faster than putting it in a shredder, no one is coming to give you your money. Wait 15 minutes for a measly $31.50!!! I left before seeing a waitress!

Unfortunately, I had indigestion after eating at this place. In addition, the music was extremely loud we couldnt talk to each other and my friend chewed a small rock in his salad... And the bathrooms were completely disgusting... This restaurant has seen better days... $55 for 1 pint and a steak and fries in these conditions its like stealing.

The customer service is very good. We received our drinks and snacks in a short amount of time. Also, the atmosphere is great. I think its the perfect place to hangout with your friends and have fun.

Having ordered from the Cage in Vaudreuil, the order was prepared incorrectly and the drinks were never put into the bag. When I called to try and rectify the order, the person who answered blamed the mistake on the Uber driver (even though the order came in a sealed bag), was unbelievably rude and refused to consider even refunding the measly $4.00. This kind of customer service is what drives customers away from a restaurant, not want to go back. I am both disappointed with my meal as well as appalled at the second-rate customer support. I would think twice before ever ordering from the Cage ever again.
