I am a regular at Thai Express but this one takes the cake in terms of poor customer service all around. I will never go back to this location .. the cashier barely spoke English or French (did NOT understand what I wanted to order and just put whatever she wanted on the cash .. ) When I told her that was not what I ordered she just continued as if I hadnt said anything... I looked to the others in the kitchen for support or to help her but everyone ignored me and what i was asking ...I just told the cashier to cancel the order and I walked out.

The cashier doesnt speak. Chefs have difficulty explaining dishes. Coupon for purchase simply ignored by the cashier. No possibility of having a refund in any way. Food way too expensive for what it is. Half of the dining room closed. Mediocre taste, I dont recommend it.

I am a fan of Thai Express, been to several locations. However this location is terrible. I ordered a Thai soup with Chicken. My soup came with no chicken - after asking twice - the cook finally put it in the soup. I had to ask twice to get pepper - none to be found. Cook went and got me a small cup reluctantly. Finally , got my soup. I have had at least 20 times in the last year. This soup was super salty and had very few veggies in it. Mostly broth and noodles. I will never return to this location.

This Thai express employees are nicer than Ile perrot. Their service is impeccable

Several visits and wrong order every time. The cauliflower thai mango doesnt exist. Very clearly asked in both languages to keep onions out but both orders had them. Dont ask for anything out of the ordinary. Dietary restrictions: They dont understand that people can have severe reactions.

Lack of consistency in opening hours, we stopped going there. The door is always closed even on a Saturday lunchtime.

The food was really great! I don t typically write reviews, but I really had to this time because the food was delicious. The service was great. The ambiance too. The only tiny inconvenience for me was that there wasn t any place to sit with a soft surface. As a person with chronic pain, I highly recommend spots with softer seats! Anyway, the food is delicious. <<3 I recommend the steamed chicken dumplings with peanut butter

what did I just eat..... absolutely TERRIBLE. we ordered a pad sew and pad Thai . the general pad Thai had a horrible old oil taste. not edible. and the pad sew was so oily and same old oil taste. we threw everything in the garbage as is . they actually think that people dont notice these things ???? never again you just lost a client .

Today I ordered 4 different items. I understand an error, however they messed up all 4 orders. We called to have it fixed or refunded. They told us to bring it back to them on our dime. This location is poorly managed and they were rude. When ordering we were very specific and even repeated our order as well as specified we understand we will pay for the extras...which we did!! But the extras were nowhere to be found. Very bad experience and will not likely give business to this location again.

Very disappointed with my experience this evening. We drove 30 minutes to get to the restaurant. When we got home with our meals, we didnt have what we ordered. Its very disappointing to come all this way for a craving and not be able to eat. Very disappointed!

Really disappointed in this place. We had ordered 4 meals and none had enough meat or veggies when I also asked for extra mushrooms. I kept telling myself Ill give them another chance with the short staff and pandemic but this restaurant really needs to restructure or close up! The given stars goes only to the staff who are friendly and welcoming.

Due to short staffing they close on weekends now. The 0rders, always a mistake. So keep a watchful eye on them when you order.

I do not recommend. I Ubered something and didnt receive it, they did not answer the phone when I called them multiple times, i had to drive all the way there for them to tell me they were out of what I ordered yet I was charged for it.

The people that work here dont pay attention. We ordered to eat in and they packed it to go. We ordered spicey with the rice mixed in. We got no spice and the rice not mixed in. They are not pleasant people.

I ve ordered multiple times from this location through Uber eats and every single order was wrong. Then when requesting a refund for an item I never received Uber said this restaurant is illegible for refunds. Meanwhile on the bill the employee wrote they did not have the item and to request a refund. When talking to the store I was also given a hard time and told I could only go there and get the refund. I will never be ordering from this Thai express again. Worst food and customer service I have ever received.

Correct food, nothing more. The pad thai lacks sauce, the thai soup tastes nothing. The service is very ordinary. A little difficulty understanding French.

Very disappointed! First time at this address and nothing like the other restaurants in the chain. We ordered 2 Pad Thai, no taste and lack of sauce and the chocolate banana cake dessert too tiny and expensive. Very ordinary, dont think about going back.

food is good, just slow even ordering by phone in advance. i ordered by phone and they said will be ready in 15 mins. time i got there, they just started preparing my order and i waited another 15 mins for it. they apologized, but really was disappointing. maybe i ll try again in the future to order here when pandemic is no longer a thing.

3.5 stars is generous for this restaurant. Clean establishment given the covid circumstances. Regarding the pad thai, nothing special to report. Ordered a spicy chicken pad thai. No real taste in the sauce apart from the spices for the spicy effect. More like a soup than a pad thai... Better options are available nearby. And of course unable to leave a comment on their functional site

Probably the worst Thai express I have ever had. I ordered a general Thai, extra spicy from here, and honestly it felt like it was the mildest food I ve ever had. On top of all that, half the ingredients were missing, and they have barely any chicken with it. Avoid at all costs. You re probably better off driving to one much further away. At least you ll get a proper Thai express that way.

Just came back from Thai Express and I was very disappointed in the service. The person in charge was very rude, arrogant and sarcastic to me.

Charged 11.88 for the 10.88 special. Refused to refund or admit was wrong. Blamed its what the system charged. Did not get anything extra. Imperial roll. When demanded refund, told us not to come back after. Will not be scammed by a restaurant when she holds up a piece of paper saying it should be 10.88. Edit* Btw, went to another Thai express and was charged the correct amount and was happy to serve us, the same day. Waiting to hear back from someome at the website customer service. They did apologize and are suppose to reach back out to me, but havnt heard anything since over a week. Not looking for anything, other than an explanation as to why they openly try to to overcharge. Its one thing to not participate, or to charge varying amounts for extras. But a nation wide promo, take down all promo materials. How many customers order the special from the screen advertisement, or the printed promo available in that location, only to be overcharged? Consumer protection possibly?

Was also overcharged at this location, and only noticed when I looked at my bill after. Called location and they pretended to not be aware of any issues, and unwilling to assist. Will make sure everyone knows...

THIS IS THE WWOORRSSTT PLACE EEVVEERRR. i would give 0 star if i could. This place never get your order correctly or they just dont get it at all. If you want to order on uber...FORGET IT!!! They are NEVER available and even when you do for a pickup they somehow never have any notifications your order will never be ready. And the woman at the cash wont even help you because she doesnt care and dont even speak english or french. She will just not serve you and ignore you if you have an issue with your order.

Generally this restaurant chain is very good but unfortunately it has among its ranks this restaurant which always seems disorganized. The attitude of the people who work there is not the most friendly. The employee behind the counter spends more time trying to sort out invoices/orders than being helpful. Waiting time during peak periods can easily be 30 minutes.

Thai Express not so express during COVID-19. They took my order as soon as I walked in the door, but I waited 40 minutes for it to be ready. Despite the fact there were 2 cooks, and 2 staff. I recommend you place your order online before presenting yourself. If you just walk in for take out and see a long line of people waiting for their order, and little to no one waiting to place an order, just walk out cause it will take a long time before you get to eat.

Just ordered through door dash and I can honestly say I dont think I been this disappointed when opening a takeout box in my life. I ordered the curry and what I received was a box of steamed rice with 5 peppers and probably the same number of overcooked meat. Any restaurant regardless of conditions should be ashamed to serve this and charge for it. I put in a Tupperware container to serve to the resident outdoor animals tomorrow. i could go on but Thai Express Vaudreuil doesnt deserve anymore of my time. On another note the door dash driver was extremely polite and even provided updates as there were delays.

Very rude cashier, she messed up our order and refused to give us a new one unless we paid for it. Not impressed and she spoke very poor English and blamed us for not understanding.

The food is as usual, but since Covid it is one of the worst restaurants in terms of service and procedures that I have seen. To order, all the customers are crowded into a plastic and cardboard corridor like a covid aquarium. Employees are far behind; This is very selfish and irresponsible. No traffic control or space to wait for your dish 2m from others who want to order. Plus the service is super slow which makes everything worse. This is the worst Thai express of all those I have tried at this level. Too bad this is the only Thai fast food place in the area.

I asked the employees if the Tips that are sent into the debit machine gets distributed to the employes. They said No only physical coins or cash. Do not tip with your debit or mastercard. The foods good tho.

Its closed! And the owners have not updated their status on Google Map. So I took a detour for nothing. And if you look at the owners response, they threaten to give me 1* service!!!! It s like spitting in my dish without my knowledge! They certainly wont have the chance to serve me!!! Wow, well done!

Frankly, the dishes and cooking are impeccable and served quickly. The staff is not particularly cheerful or seems to like their job but they do it professionally. On the other hand, I didnt like the old restaurant which was a bit outdated. I will certainly stop there again this summer when the new establishment has completed its work. Convince me and I will happily change my rating from 4 to 5. ;-)

Used to be great, but it is terrible now, asked for basil fried rice with fish. Got zero basil, and the rice was not even fully cooked. The food lacks flavor as well. For the price your paying its actually insulting, will not go back as this last time was the second bad experience in a row.

I ve only been to this location 3 times and unfortunately all three times haven t been great experiences. The first time we were in line for 20 minutes and when we finally received our meals, the noodles weren t cooked down enough and we re still hard. They were busy that day so we just chalked it up to that. The second time we went, we ordered for 2 people and the wait was 20 minutes again. One meal came 10 minutes before the other and when the second order was finally made, they remade the first order and got short with us for taking the first order they handed to us! Mind you, it couldn t have been a mistake on our part because it was exactly what we bought and no one else was claiming it (we asked others in line to make sure). The last time we purchased from there, it was an order to go for 3 people and one of us got a general tao chicken on white rice so doused in sauce that there was no white rice. The second one of us received a shrimp fried rice with barely any shrimp (not kidding like 3-4 pieces) and I got a pad Thai in a half filled to go box.... The new location looks great, but the quality of the food and customer service could use some work.

If you are looking for a good Thai Express this one is pretty good. The place just got renovated, they serve your food in actual dishes and not plastic bowls like other Thai Express. It has nice decoration, but the place can fill up pretty quickly at lunch time. The only thing I dont like about the plates is that you cannot see if they put more food or not. I usually order my dishes with extra protein, and usually when you do that, they serve your dish in a big plastic bowl instead of a styrofoam plate. Since here they only ever give you a dish, Ive had a hard time seeing if I really have extra protein and many times I feel like it was forgotten and I just paid extra... But that could be my perception. Overall, its a good Thai Express. Ive had bad Thai Express, but not here.

Incredibly as much as i like Thai express , this visit in November 2018 was one to hate , not sure if it was too many deer in the headlights(new staff) overwhelmed by being busy but getting a 3/4 full carton to take out was never any of the other T.E. ever offered me. Sadly they really turned me off and away from the franchise . I see they have relocated since this time and maybe the front door will be easier to open unlike their previous location, not sure when and if i may try again

Im taking the time to write this because: a) This is not the first time Ive been disappointed by this store b) There were too many things wrong about my interaction and the service c) Dishonesty b) The store was out of fish, out of napkins, out of cups for the condiments, peanuts and limes c) I clearly ordered spicy pad see-ew for takeout as apparent on my receipt which I have kept but was given pad thai instead, I also have pictures to show this with date stamps. I understand that mistakes are sometimes made, were all human after all, and I could see that the chef noticed that he made a mistake after he hesitated to give me the food. The cashier immediately intervened and gave me the packaged food. I didnt quite understand what happened but knew something was wrong, and from my past experience, this store never makes the food spicy as I request it so my assumption was that it wasnt, hence I asked whether it was spicy, to which the cashier responded yes, and again rushed me into taking the food. When I got back home, the food given to me was pad thai rather than Pad Sew. After having the first bite, the taste also confirmed that it wasnt spicy at all. What Im furious about is the sheer dishonesty of this store; I will never step into this store again and will go out of my way to ensure that people are aware of this, unless the owners are made aware of their malpractices. This is completely unacceptable and employees who are dishonest should not have a place in this store. I know this is not a franchise wide pandemic since Ive had great food at other locations.

The food is awesome! But the service is.... Ordinary. I went at noon one day during the week and while there was 15+ people in line there was only one guy doing the cooking. You can just imagine how long it took.

Im giving 1 star because I cant give 0. Greeted by a pleasant smell of dirty mopping. On the counter a seal with an unspeakable rag. Im not even talking about the state of the toilets.... Finally, I left without eating. Too bad, because I have already eaten at other Thaï express and the cleanliness was exemplary. Over the course of several visits I tried a few different items on the menu and everything tastes the same. Maybe if it want all drowned in hyper salty/spicy sauce we could have a delicate pallate, but as it stands its not really Thai. Its not even really a restaurant...
