Saw the good reviews had a family member who had recommended this place to me, decided to give it a try as I was in the area I would definitely come back! Staff was super friendly very polite I could tell there was regular customers coming back so that’s always a plus and the food was good!
I have been buying my chicken here for a long time now. Yesterday I bought a chicken paid $20.00 for it and this was the smallest, skinniest chicken ever. What happened??? It was dry and not the usual flavoured, juiciest chicken as it usually is. I was not happy. My son who loves this chicken didn’t even want to eat it. The picture I posted was a breast piece. Very thin☹️
Every time the potatoes are spoiled rotten and clearly re deep fried from the day before! The owner should just do up French fries and be done with the round potatoes? The Chicken and his loco sauce is still very good tho and the yellow rice but again it’s with the potatoes! Completely dirty dive in there but I’ve never got sick from this takeout place
This is how a restaurant should be! Delicious food with very reasonable price and friendly owner/staff, AND no BS tipping option like the subway next door. For $12 you get a fulfilling meal. No seating area inside so it’s only takeouts. They do take cards! And have been trying to find restaurant that actually telling the truth when ask if food is no spicy. It does indeed have no spicy option for those of you who have been fooled by many restaurants in Toronto.
One of Maple’s gems. Give this man a statue!! Thank you for amazing service and food. I have been coming here 15 years and counting. My go-to order is 1/4 chicken (white meat) combo with extra sauce. The sauce, seasoning, and quality of ingredients combine to give excellent flavour and aroma.

Food - I have been going here since I was in High School, over 10+ years ago. This place has staying power, and the reason is because of its food and fantastic prices. They offer chicken, with rice and potatoes, which I always get. I appreciate they offer two types spicy and non-spicy. It is savoury, yummy, and filling. I always come back once in a while, and the quality is always the same. Service: The owner is often there, and it's family-owned. They are always sweet, quick, and professional. I also low-key love when they call me hun. Ambience: There is no seating. It's meant for takeout. However, I do love the touches of the family. Accessible - There is accessible parking. Getting in you is a tight fit, but not bad. Overall, it is a true hole-in-the-wall gem in Vaughan. Right across from Wonderland, it won't disappoint. They also aren't on Uber Eats!

You have to go here ! This may have been some of the freshest, juiciest most flavourful chicken Ive ever had. Came here around dinner time with a big appetite and was NOT disappointed. Juan is amazing at what he does. We got one full chicken with the loco sauce ( Im drooling just thinking about it ) and a half chicken with their chimichurri sauce, potato and rice. Also got the beef and chorizo empanadas. Juan did mention it might be too much food for just two people, but it was sooo good that we demolished the entire thing and left no crumbs. Ate it right there in the parking lot because we couldnt help ourselves and Went back in just to tell Juan how amazing it was. So glad we found this little gem!

This is a good place for Portuguese style chicken. I ve been here a few times and compared to other options in the area, I would rank it 3rd. It quickly goes down in rankings the further from Vaughan Mills you go. Chicken is ok, but lack spicy and sauce. The potatoes are soft, but dry. The place is easy to access and is across from Wonderland. Service is nice, but nothing special.

Loco sauce is something no one should be living without. There are millions of grilled chicken places all over the world, but. It s safe to say that their loco sauce is so good that it will most likely cure anything. And it s great on chicken too! If only he would bring back the, -fried chicken, -rotisserie chicken, -homemade fresh Ceviche! I m not telling you how to run your own business, I m just a loyal customer that always looks forward to walking in to see you Quan, and eating your mouth watering food.
Hidden chicken churrasqueria. Chicken was good, rice was great. The potatoes where dry. No empanadas, as the lady only comes certain days. Didnt see a rest room, no dine in area to eat. I noticed the glass extremely greasy, the debit machine, the counters, Its needs a very deep cleaning, or I simply came in a odd time for them in the month.

Average chicken that was a bit dry (overcooked/heated) and sitting in a pool of oil. Look at the pic. I think its best experienced with rice and potatoes, but great chicken doesnt need to have sides. At least they are not overpriced as $11 for a half chicken is reasonable. Parking: a few parking spaces out front and more in the rest of the plaza
Pros: BBQ chicken at its best. Feels like this place has been here forever. The chicken is obviously the best part of all the meals. However they make great rice and the hot sauce is very flavourful. Cons: No dining in

first time trying Portuguese chicken, dont know if they all taste like this, or just this place, but i didnt like the sauce, its this sour spicy sauce, similar to duffs wings. some ppl like it, but not my cup of tea. rice and potato were also meh for me, kinda dry. but i do like the simple menu, and the owner was super friendly and patient.

These guys did an incredible job setting us up for our kids birthday party yesterday. Incredible hospitality. Definitely one of the best chicken spots around. Everybody kept asking where the food was from. The sauces were amazing. We also ordered a bunch of empanadas which were a huge hit. They disappeared very quickly. Their grilled chicken is not worth 4.7 star rating it has on google. It pales in comparison to Churrasco of St Clair who has the best in the city by far. Chicken is tough, dry, most of all lacking taste. There are better options within driving distance.

Quality was never that high but at least the chicken taste decent. Last couple of times I went the chicken was absolutely horrible And the portions were comically small. The potatoes were burnt and the rice had a stale taste to them. The place is also very dirty and could use a cleaning. It looks like they re letting this place go and the place looks like garbage and the food taste like garbage

I live in Fort Erie and each time since go to Toronto I order food from here. Never have I been disappointed. My family asks for his chicken/rice and potatoes all the time and for family functions. Staff are friendly and prices are very reasonable. We take out food at least once a month. Keep up the great work. There are some negative reviews but I haven t ever experienced any of them. Food is always delicious. We love this place. The chicken, potatoes and rice are delicious!!!!! The sauce makes it taste so yummy.

This place is underrated!!! We found it when we ventured out of wonderland to look for cheaper foods, ran into this $11 chicken combo and OMG! It was the best Portuguese chicken we ever had. The sauce the owner uses is tangy and so flavourful, drizzled on top of the rice and potatoes and it is so GOOD. I went back to try their empanadas and they are amazing too! Friendly owner. Home cooking feel.
Ordered the half chicken dinner and it was very good. The hot sauce has a great taste but is a bit mild. Price was reasonable as well. Would be a great Wonderland lunch.

So flavourful! Tastier than Portuguese chicken - its not dry like it. The seasonings really make the chicken juicy and packs in the flavour. The creamy coleslaw is amazing! Everything is always fresh.

Delicious, affordable, conveniently located across Canadas Wonderland. Being latino I was happy to find chicken with cimichurri that tastes like the one at home.

Hidden gem
Classic - been here for quite some time and it never disappoints! One of my favorite local joints on the Wonderland strip (Jane & Mack). Chicken is always fresh, spiced so well, and cooked perfectly! The potatoes are a must and the rice is also very good. I always order an extra container of sauce on the side, it tastes awesome and at $5 for 12oz you can t go wrong! I like my food really saucy. I always end up with extra and end up storing it in my fridge to eat with other food for up to a few days after.

Mine and my families go to place for take out food. Started going here in high school and I love how flavorful the chicken is although it is a bit oily. Catering is affordable and a huge crowd pleaser!
Omg Ive been coming here since I was going to Maple High back in 2007. This was and still is the spot. Every culture hits them up for the flavour. Jamaicans, Italians, middle eastern, asians..everyone. I moved away and still come through 14 years later. The family that runs the business is so sweet. Definitely give it a shot. Suggestion: 1/2 or 1/4 grilled chicken combo with half potatoes and half rice. Bout 11.25 plus tax for it. Take the heat too! Its worth it.

One of the best chicken spots. At first glance it doesnt look like much but thats how you know that chicken is gonna hit all the right spots. I dont know about anyone else but one half chicken combo and Im a happy man. Love starting my weekends off with one of these. Get my girl the same and she finishes it, when usually I get her left overs. You cant go wrong here. Also get a side of slaw for just more goodness.

Ordered lunch from here today for a few co workers and my self. Chicken was great. Full of flavor. The sides, which were rice and potatoes, hit the spot. Great portion sizes for the money. We will definitely be back!

I m sorry to have to give you this rating for I have been a past customer of yours. However, I came in today and ordered a whole chicken and large potatoes. Chicken had NO flavour and pieces looked like they came from a tiny chicken and smothered in a ton of oil. YOUR chicken was stale. Your potatoes were BURNT, literally BURNT and not fresh tasting. It was a waste of $30 for a dinner for 3. I don t know WHAT HAPPENED but it seems to me your cutting corners on quality and taste you cannot keep customers like that. I see the pics from past customers on Google, my order looked nothing like that.
Definitely one of my favourite places to eat. Best to call ahead and place your order as this is a takeout spot. Keep in mind there s not really any room to sit inside and eat. There is a row of chairs but it s not a dine in spot as there is no tables. The owner is very friendly. The chicken is juicy and tender. The rice and potatoes are cooked to perfection, and the sauce they use will have you wanting extra in your plate. Never have I not enjoyed a plate from here. To sum it all up, I go loco for the Pollo Loco and you will too once you try it.
