Rude employees. I did online ordering and went to drive thru but one girl employee rudely told me that I just ordered so I have to go at the front. When I went inside after waiting at the front for more than 10 minutes, I waited in the mobile order area without saying anything but they keep on staring at me as if I’ve made a serious trouble. It was my first time dealing with this! I used to go at this branch at least once a month but what happened today is ridiculous!!
Way better than other fast food chain burgers IMHO. You often have to wait a good amount of time at this location. I hope it means that they are cooking the burgers to order vs grabbing one from under a heat lamp. Good promotion on now if you purchase a gift card.
My order was prepared very quickly. Burger was better than expected, however the fries were cold and stale, and likely had been sitting for at least 25 mins. Shame as these fries look like they would be excellent if served hot and fresh. A&W do you train staff to throw out food that has been sitting, and no longer fit to be served?
The customer service in the drive thru at this location is really lacking, like the staff is absolutely bored out of their minds and couldn't care less about their job or their customers. Also, rather than give you your food at the window, they make you drive up to the front and then walk out the front door to give you your order, which seems odd. The location is convenient and the food is as good as from any other A&W location so I will keep going, but the staff should work a on their soft skills a bit more.
Service was decent but the food was awful. To be fair, I have not had A&W in over 2 years . This week I got a Buddy Burger and I was insulted at the food I received. The patty was so thin I could not taste any meat..all I kept tasting was onions, mushrooms and bun . Will not return.
Visited on a Monday lunchtime for q quick bite. I used the on-site facilities rather than drive through. I was served quickly and efficiently, for a teen burger $9.04. The food was okay, it seemed to be a bit lacking in flavour and looks. It was fine for a quick snack, yet, compared to the price I didn't think I got good value for money. There were a few tables on-site which were clean and the store was also well maintained. The washroom facilities seemed a little bit smelly, however, there were no visible spills.
I picked up kids meal here a few times for my kids. The place is located within a Circle convenience in a gas station. There is some place to sit down if you are on the go but its better for take outs. The place is generally clean as a convenience. The washrooms are also clean for a gas station. Staff is super nice and fats however, and it might get busy during certain hours. Parking is also free. They also have the drive thru option.
Ordered via Uber Eats and these nincompoops messed up our entire order for our family. 3 burgers - ALL missing condiments. Drink were poorly packed so it leaked all over our food. Ordered 2 apple pies and completely missed that. Ordered a kid's chicken strip meal for my 4 year old and missed the fries and chocolate meal. Awful awful service. And Uber only credited us back $3 and change.

Employee has huge open pimples on her face, looks like herpes. She should not be working around food with that. Extremely unsanitary. Will not be returning.
Incredible staff who always greet you with smile, amazingly clean station and store and awesome food. A rare combination of tasty food with great customer service and cleanliness.
The root beer was served ice-cold in a frosty mug, as always. Clean and inviting, it s a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

The night staff sucked!
I ordered a large (20oz) coffee, paid for a large coffee. I was given a medium (16oz) that had about 12oz in it. Employees seem to lack customer service standards.... Yeah, not coming back. Food : 1/5

Every time I go to this drive thru they make a mistake with my order. I thought I checked this time but I missed an error until I got home. I reconfirmed my order 3 times with the team as well.

We ordered 2 combos of beyond meet with cheese and one more beyond meet sandwich with cheese 25 minutes ago and a lady gave us a packed bag and said this is all you ordered! We thanked her but When we got home and opened it realized that there is no cheese on the sandwiches ( we had paid for it and we like it only with cheese!) and also no ketchup in the package for the French frieses!! It was so upsetting! We trusted them and didn t know we should check all the details about our order!

The service was a bit slow but people were working the front and the drive-thru. Food was perfectly good and made well, so there is not complaints for that. However, it being in a gas station is not the best for atmosphere, plus there is no seating.

After ordering on the app for pick up, they only started to enter the order when I asked. I stood waiting for a while before they even addressed me. When asked what happened and why after 15 minutes of ordering ahead they are only starting now, she simply said they were busy. No apology, no sense of care. Terrible customer service.

was quite disappointed to observe the burger preparer using her hands without gloves or utensils. There was a lack of hygiene, as the cashier handled the bun without washing her hands. When questioned, they claimed sanitized hands were sufficient. Its baffling that gloves arent required, but basic hygiene practices should be a minimum standard for the staff.

The staff is friendly but not much personally. A little slow, and if you are doing takeout, or drive thru make sure to check your order. Overall I would go back again. No I would say the same, which overall is still alright. All was the same overall a little slow,and check your order. This time the service was good, not friendly, the order was correct. My only concern is asked twice about up selling at the POS. I think once with a no, the up selling should stop. Today I had a Chubby Chicken combo. The service was excellent, the food was good, I asked for extra pickle and there was none. You must check your order and request here or you will be disappointed. Once again service slow, lack of personality, there has been some change of staff. Perhaps they are training no personality. Sadly this A&W location continues not to impress. Order a Chubby Chicken combo. Asked for extra pickle didnt happen. Also when I ordered told the person for here,, first they handed me a bag with just Chicken sandwich. The sad part is the person who handed me only the Children sandwich was the same person who took my order!

I went there a few times and I was pleased with service and food. Either Chanpreet or Vispy had always a nice smile and good customer service skills. Ive never been disappointed. Food was fresh made and served. I recommend this place. Located inside Petro Canada gas station. 4 tables for 2 to eat inside if you want. Clean area. Will definitely come back!

I got food through their drive thru and I was very satisfied with the service that I received. I drove in the line, ordered my food and was informed that there would be a 5 minute wait for my burger. Although the audio quality on the machine couldve been better, the order and information was communicated well enough. I pulled up to the window, paid, and waited. As they said, there was a small wait around 5 minutes and they brought the food. The employee that brought the food and spoke to me was professional. As for the food, it was hot and fresh, adequately packaged, and smelled amazing. Although I believe the fries were a bit overcooked. A fast, efficient, and convenient drive thru for a quick bite.

I just ordered one burger and drink but didn t listen the order carefully. That s the first time that happened with me only on this location. They charge me 3 times for one order. Bad service.
Asked for a burger, fries, and drink. I showed the promo code to upgrade my fries to sweet potato fries. The cashier told me I had to pay for two fries; one for the combo and one for extra sweet potato fries. I did not want to be overcharged by her mistake, so I asked her to call the supervisor and somebody named Sweety came upfront and said the coupon does not apply for the combo. I asked her to cancel the combo and give the the burger and upgraded the sweets potato fries. She refused and started explaining and saying nonsense which I did not understand. I canceled the whole order and started to walk away. Then she rudely said OK BYE with no apologies and no manner. Working in a fast food place is a customer service job. The staff need to be trained how to deal with customers. How to keep them satisfied so they come again. How do you guys feel if someone treats you the way I was treated at your restaurant? Wont you become irritated of the staff behavior? Just go to Harveys across from the street and see how they are dealing and treating their customers. A customer service job is not just cooking food, but rather providing a good service to the customer that makes them encouraged to come to your restaurant again and again and again. Sorry but will not come again and will report this to the head office.

The staff are useless. They just stand there chatting with each other and not serving customers. Stood there for five minutes nobody came to take my order. Then l got gas and came back and there are 3 people standing there, finally one worker started taking the customers order while the other people stand around socialising. Horrible customer service.
We ordered beyond meat combo yesterday by uber eat, it was terrible! Not fresh at all, not delicious... ( my husband is vegetarian and we love A&W beyond meet, we mostly buy it from York mills branch), since yesterday afternoon I have diarrhea and my husband has nausea and vomiting, he vomited 3 times since yesterday, beginning 2 hours after eating the Berger! I hope he gets better and we dont have to go to the emergency room tonight! They should not use unfresh! They should not use old and leftover food and if I had a choice, I would have complained to them, we were very annoyed and it is not known when the side effects in our body will end!
Not too much to say It s an A&W in a gas station. Food is exactly what I d expect from any A&W. Service is good, staff is friendly and professional. Sometimes a bit of a wait but never too long. Parking: Parking is shared with the gas station. Never been an issue finding a spot since people don t stay long.

This place is so bad , instead of coffee thay are using colouring, so many times already i got the coffee and it has not smell of coffee and no taste of coffee, abslolutly tasteless just sugar and water with colouring

They gave us old tasting coke and root beer. However, when we brought it up they had no issues switching it out for us. I gave 2 stars for the service because despite having a small order and only 1 car ahead of us in drive through, we were told to wait and park the car to receive our order and I believe we waited 7-8 minutes. The service was a bit slow but overall okay.
It was a an and w s why is everywhere hiring like only 2 people per shift anyways. & was prepared to wait 30 minutes for fries but surprisingly the student was very quick working the cashier and the frying station. I don t think they pay them enough and they purposely understaff such locations. Anyways I enjoyed the fast, take out.
