Aloha Poke in Vaughan

I ve had this many times in the past. We live in Aurora and always drive to Vaughan to pick up our order. unfortunately the past few orders the bowls were not as good and was very dry, not enough sauce. For the amount they are charging there should be enough sauce in every bowl! I m disappointed and will no longer be a customer!

I could eat at this place almost every week, so good and fresh. Eat asap dont let it sit too long.

Don t believe google review this place otherwise you will be catfished like us. Very disappointed with the poke and quality. Avoid!!!

One of the best poke Ive had in the GTA. Flavour is a bit on the sweeter side but its delicious. Go for that purple rice. Half rice and half salad with the Aloha Classic. Their takoyaki is yummy. Not fried. And their octopus filling is soft and not chewy! (which I havent had before in the city)

Great people, the owner is always smiling and has a great laugh. Food is always fresh and plenty. Really enjoy eating here.

I use to be a customer prior the pandemic but I m guessing perhaps owners have changed and the quality and flavour is no longer what it used to be to be. I found that the rice was overcooked/too wet. Hygiene also feels questionable here. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend this place.

My favourite poke place ever. I order the Aloha Classic every time and its the best Ive had in Toronto in terms of quantity, value and taste. Ive ordered from a number of other places and Ive always had to ration my salmon pieces so it lasts through my entire meal. Here, I dont (at least i dont have to be that aware). Honestly, the prices have gone up but so has every other food establishment so I cant blame them. Pay cash in store for a discount.

Oh boy, while the poke was ok, I got the the wasabi tuna, partner got the Hawaiian, the major issue were the two girls were quite chatty and very unprofessional. They forgot my app order and it wasn t busy so not much in terms of excuse. They had no idea how to do a refund so someone who was on break had to come off her break to do it. I really wanted to like this place but with the kids on the cash, don t really trust this place. Also Uber came while I was there; they told the guy five more minutes and didn t start the order until the second time he came back cause they were chatting about their high school drama

Great poke bowl for pick up

Mixed feelings. I loved this place and ordered the Aloha Classic poke bowl every single Friday night because it was amazing. However last Friday my aloha classic came with iceberg lettuce :S, avocado was black and old, and the overall size of the bowl was smaller than usual. Also, they raised the prices. I was okay with paying more and fine with the smaller portion size. What I can t understand is why they switched to iceberg lettuce, it changed the entire flavour of this bowl and now I don t feel like buying it ever again : ( Update: they went back to romain lettuce, it turns out there was a temporary change due to supply issues. Aloha Classic poke is again my favorite, love it!

This is the best poke place in Toronto! (And maybe even in whole Canada) I mean it - I went to several places in GTA and their poke are not even close to the Aloha s. I wonder why that places have 4.7-4.9 stars. Comparing to Aloha they don t worth even 3. Guys, thank you so much for your product! You re the best! Absolutely one of my most favorite places to eat. When I m not in the area sometimes I ll drive almost an hour to get there it s so good.

Great that I paid for extra sauce but they never added. Very disappointed paying $19 for my poke bowl but not getting everything I paid for.

We got 2 poke balls with salmon and tuna. Both were delicious! I would definitely recommend this place if you like poke! The portions were generous and the fish and other ingredients were fresh. The service was very friendly. I will be back!

This was once my favourite Poké bowl takeout spot. Regrettably, theyve raised the prices while reducing the bowl sizes. The photo I shared below depicts the size they used to offer, yet they maintain fresh ingredients and an amazing taste. Despite the changes, the staff remains consistently friendly, and the service remains prompt.

The food here is amazing! I like that its such an easy process to order on a sheet of paper and then give it to the cashier to take. I would recommend this place if you like sushi-in-a-bowl and if you can afford to soend a little bit more money since the options are more expensive than other places Ive been to. Something that I noticed was that depending on who is working, you might get different portions of salmon/rice/toppings/etc. so I wish they gave more consistent portions.

This place was so good. I customized a bowl and everything about the bowl was so fresh. Fair pricing for what you get, big portions, fresh ingredients what more can you ask for. I also tried the crad meat with cream cheese wontons and they were so good. Definitely will be coming back to try more menu items! 10/10

One of the best poke Ive had. The salmon was fresh not to mention a generous portion and the rice was cooked to perfection. They have alot of selection when you build your own poke. Definitely will order again

The poke here is nothing remarkable, but the staff are nice and they make a good avocado milkshake. The poke here has a good number of ingredients, but somehow feels like it lacks the feeling of a really good poke bowl. The fish tasted fresh but were cut into very small pieces giving the illusion of more fish. I would choose a more mainstream poke spot over Aloha poke. Their avocado milkshake, which was the highlight of our visit, was smooth, fresh, and not too sweet. Two signature bowls and an avocado milkshake came out to being $45.

Im celiac, so I chose the build your own poke bowl. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Probably the best poke place on GTA. The amount of meat is amazing and fish is very very fresh and tasteful. We tried here build your own and Kabayaki Unagi. When I built my own poke, I chose 2 proteins - salmon and tuna which costed extra $5 but was totally worth it!

Tried this place for the first time and ordered takeout. It was well-priced, filling, great quality, and offered an amazing selection. I created my own bowl and I loved the amount of options I had. The only thing I wish they had was zucchini noodles or something other than lettuce if opting out of rice. The lettuce doesn t absorb the sauce well and it because a bit too saucy. I d imagine it s amazing with rice, but I have an allergy. Spot it cute and it was relatively quick.

Everything was closed (Canada Day) and we took a chance (as tourist) to come here. Great food, good price, good service. We had the Aloha Classic and the Kimchi beef.

Staff here are so polite and kind. I misread their operating hours and showed up about 15 mins before opening. They still insisted on serving me. Food is great too! 10/10

Extremely disgusting. We ordered a few poke bowls while we wait, we saw someone ordered avocado milkshake. We saw this lady using a knife to cut out the bad part of the avocado (probably cut out 70-80% of it), wiping the blade on the edge of the garbage bin, and then cut some more. At the end, she uses the same knife to scrape the remaining good part of the avocado, and put them into a blender to make the milkshake I will never ever eat here again

I ordered a party tray that can choose up to 9 topping of my choice, 3 protein, 2 big bottle sauce and 3 crunchy to the party and everyone in my family loves it. They said its for 4 people but definitely more than that

Best poke I ve had! This is my new go to spot. I also tried the passion fruit lemonade which was very refreshing and a bit tart with real lemons slices inside which I loved.

You get the choice of making your own or selecting one of the signature bowls. I went with the unagi one, which costs 1$ more than other bowls. While its a little on the pricey side, 20$ for one bowl after taxes. Once you take the first bite, its filled with colourful flavours and topped with tons o f toppings. Purple rice is the way to go.

We ordered the aloha original and gotta say it tasted amazing, everything was so fresh. The service I received was excellent, they were so patient and kind. Will be coming back in the near future!

The poke bowls here are amazing. I highly recommend trying out Salmon Poke bowl and Chicken Teriyaki bowl. Looks great, tastes amazing. One of my go to places.

The Aloha Classic was amazing and this place is a must try if youre someone who likes sushi and is looking for something healthy and tasty. All the ingredients were super fresh, and the purple rice is worth a try.

I ordered the Aloha Classic, which tasted great but for the price you are getting a lot of rice. It s nice that there was a variety of toppings but there wasn t much of some toppings. For example, there was barely 3 slices of avocado in mine. I would likely choose other options for the price, unless portions were to change.

If you are looking for a good poke dish, the two main requirements is the use of high quality ingredients that are fresh. Aloha Poke checks off both those requirements. Kudos. Would definitely recommend.

It is very good and really satisfies the poke bowl craving. However, it is very expensive for the portions that they give. It mostly consists of rice and very little of the other toppings. I would go much more often if the prices were around $9 instead of $16 or if they made the portions bigger. Less rice, more of everything else!

Ordered the Aloha Classic Poke, way better than expected, salmon was very fresh and same with the other topping. A+ definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Tasty and fresh bowls with lots of variety in sauces/toppings at a decent price. I like the build-your-own bowls with tuna or salmon. Easily my favourite poke bowl place in the area. You can make your bowls gluten-free if you ask for unmarinated tuna/salmon and choose your toppings/sauces correctly. They even have GF soy sauce they can give you on the side if you ask.

Delicious and healthy meal, I like every bowl Ive tried so far, even the Tofu (Buddha Bowl), which I normally wouldnt order, it was really good.

Food is good, but paying 2$ extra for 6 pieces of kimchi, 2$ extra for 3 small slices of avocado, and 2$ EXTRA for 35 cents worth of seaweed salad is an absolute crime. Like i said the food is good but a 30$ poke bole should be LOADED if ur paying extra this and extra that

I didnt know what to expect, but i just wanted a poke bowl in the area. OMG, it was actually so good. Got the Aloha Classic Poke. Extremely generous portions and each bite had a piece of each ingredient! Dont be fooled with uber eats prices, go in store and its cheaper if you order in the restaurant. Absolutely my go to poke bowl if im ever in Vaughan area.

Language barrier might affect order. Even when slowly explained about 15% of the time they are unable to follow directions. 3rd time it happened on our take-out order I called and asked for the Manager. Never recieved a call back. Very tastey though

It is supposed to be like Hawaiian themed... as Poke is a Hawaii menu item... Music is Chinese instead of a Hulla Polynesian one... that would add a special Hawaii vibe... just saying
