I visited here twice and had two different experiences. The first time was fantastic! I had the veg platter, roti, and gravy, and everything was delicious. The second time, I came back with the same expectations, but while the food was still good, it wasn’t quite as great as the first visit. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was lovely. Overall, a good experience.
We had a dine in today at this restaurant. Ambiance was amazing. Staff is so impressive. Kivar and Raj did great job. We got cauliflower bite(4/5) butter chicken(5/5), kadai paneer(6/5), tandoori roti. They even got spice level check before serving us. It was the best experience.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Riyasat in Vaughan! We ordered the chicken momo dumplings, butter chicken, and garlic butter naan, and everything was absolutely delicious. The dumplings were packed with flavor and had a great texture, while the butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The naan was soft, buttery, and a great complement to the meal. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!
Service was on point, the lady who was serving us was extremely pleasant, kind and patient. She explained the menu and helped us order the things we like. This was our first time and it was amazing! The food was authentic, flavourful and presented extremely well! She also asked us our level of spice, and brought out a sample of our butter chicken sauce for us to taste the level of spice before they brought it out, this was NEXT LEVEL! They truly care about the customer experience! We will definitely be back. This place is a must try! The Fish Pakora was the best I’ve ever had!
Food is good has lot of options the chef would first send out a dish sample for you to taste and add if anything is missing or to change the spice level. This is kind of very good and unique as not many restaurants do this. This makes the dish customized as per your taste and definitely not gives you the same regular taste which we find at every restaurant. There was only one server at the time of our visit with a pleasant and welcoming smile would be better if there were 2 as the one staff was doing everything managing the counter and the tables.but overall she was very welcoming and hardworking person Small restaurant cannot accommodate big group
I don't easily praise Indian food as I can cook pretty well myself, but food at Riyasat was great! It was fresh, spice level was and oils used were good. The price is very reasonable. We met the Chef, Abhay, who is a sweet and humble young man. One suggestion for the Chef is to cook the thighs of Tandoori Chicken a few minutes more that the leg peices so that they are not medium rare from the center. The staff is very pleasant. It is a small restaurant, and they have created good ambiance for it. We don't usually go to Indian Restaurant, but we plan to go back to this one, if not to dine in, then definitely for take out for the next party.
Small restaurant with limited seating capacity. But, staffs’ behaviour towards diners was amazing, well mannered. They gave us opportunity to taste food to check spice level before serving them on the table. I would like to give Rajal a 5 stars. She made sure that we are having great experience of dining. A guy seemed to be the cook even came out to ask personally if we liked food or not. Kudos guys.. keep the good work going.

A fantastic dining experience! We ordered tandoori chicken momos, butter chicken, aloo paratha, soya chaap, and methi paneer. The restaurant gives you a sample of the curry before it is served, allowing you to recommend your preferred salt and spice levels. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered Kadhai Paneer and Garlic Naan, and it was absolutely top-notch so flavorful! The quantity was enough for two people s dinner, which made it even more worth it! The server went above and beyond by offering me a small sample to check the spice level, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I ll definitely be coming back! The staff was amazing there were two girls serving, and they were both so sweet and attentive. They made the restaurant cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. What I love most is that it s super close to my place, so it s bound to become my go-to spot. And to top it off, it s very pocket-friendly compared to other Punjabi restaurants in the area. It was really good food
Although the location is small, Riysat Indian Restaurant is absolutely worth visiting. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. We ordered the Hiway Paneer, garlic naan, and the Amritsari Kulcha plate, and every dish was so delicious that we couldn t believe it all came at such an affordable price. They let you taste the spicy level or taste of the curry before bringing your meal which is one of its kind and make this resturant different from other indian resturant. Their Indian chai is a must-try and adds to the experience. Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem and a must-visit for authentic Indian flavors! Vegetarian options: lots of veggie option. Truly amazed by the taste of the food and great service. Only downside is the sitting space but as long as food and service is great, sitting space shouldn t be too concerning.
I would give them 0 star for being dishonest people. I had a dinner with family on 14th December and didn t notice they charged taxes on food (which they not suppose to) by government law till February 15. Next day I phoned them about this situation and I got told to get back by 1-2 hours. I called again two to three times and every time they told me same thing. Ending up they saying it is business choice to charge tax on food and they are above than laws and rules. Go somewhere else and save some bucks. They are all dishonest from toe to head.

I have visited Riyasat once and the experience was wonderful during the dine-in. Based on that, I ordered Tandoori Momos and Chicken Kathi Roll from Doordash. The quality was appalling. I have no idea who actually prepared the food cause it felt like the order was from an entirely different restaurant. The Tandoori Momos was FULL OF SALT, i could only have 1 and had to literally throw the entire thing. I tried working through the kathi roll but it was soggy and breaking apart. I went through a few bites and started feeling pukish from it. THE FOOD WAS COMPLETELY INEDIBLE. I have no idea how they had the audacity to have that food delivered. I reached out to DD and asked if there was a way to send the food back so that they could see what they sent in. But there was not a way to do so unfortunately and the food is sitting in my garbage. WHAT A WASTE!

Nice store. We had Tandoori chicken and it was bland and not spicy. Naan was good. Lamb kebab was very basic and overall all the food needs more spices. Service was fine, they said they d call when the food was ready but they didn t. Overall 2/5.

Very poor service and food. We ordered tandoori chicken but it didnt had taste of tandoori chicken. Chicken Biryani had burnt smell and when gave the feedback, the server said I dont know anything about it, chef made it not me. We also ordered chicken curry and Kaali March chicken, they both had same taste and sane curry. Not happy at all to dine in.

Food is very authentic. We ordered veggie platter , saag and subz fogat and everything was delicious. Saag was very authentic. I particularly liked when they brought ring portionsfor us to taste of it is to our liking and they adjusted the spice level before bringing final dish. I have never seen this before. Rajan served us food with a smiling face and she was very welcoming. This place doesnt have a lot of seating but the food is good and fresh. Gulab jamun was yummy !! I recently had the misfortune to visit Riyasat with my husband. We ordered Laal maas and garlic naan. The mutton pieces were so small that we felt that we re eating mutton keema. The pieces were mostly fat based (charbi). They even messed up the garlic naan by adding garlic powder. We even informed the server that we were not satisfied at all, rather than making any effort to make our experience better, she said she would pass the feedback to the chef. Two stars are only for the gravy and the service. Washroom was pretty dirty too.

The food here is absolutely amazing! The hariyali chicken, butter garlic naan, and vindaloo are bursting with flavor. Plus, the server was so sweet and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The lady with the beautiful eyes at the counter had exceptional customer service skills. We were even given sample of all the curries we ordered to see if the gravy was to our desired spice and salt levels. Food was delicious, perfect portions and right oil qty was used. Food was great, got the mild and it was still some what spicy but putting the yogurt on it made it really good! For any of the curries or sauces, they brought out a small taster to make sure the spice level was good so if you start with less spice, you can always ask them to make it spicier.

Delicious food and nice service
My taste buds felt exposed to the heavenly tender chicken with the curry felt like a mix ment to be. The momos were perfect in every single way. They made all other food look childish. The chicken was light and the most tender, smooth and soft food that has ever made contact with my mouth. My stomach after all of these food were pleased and delighted. The combination of all of these foods was the most satisfying and delicious thing ever to exist. Parking: Enough for everyone Kid-friendliness: There spice options would be perfect for the kids to enjoy.

This was the worst Indian food experience ever for us. We ordered Karahi Paneer and Dal Makhani which came after 45 mins of us ordering , the worst part was the taste . Karahi paneer was the worst , I would not order it. Also the place is a cash grab charging for every little thing like Onions and Mint chutney separately. 3 pieces of Paneer for $16 , a novice can cook better dish than what we were served. Food- 2/10 (only Naan was good) Service - 3/10 ( there is only one person , and she was maxed out ) Not coming back here again !

I ordered kadhai paneer and Garlic Naan. It was delicious made by chef of riyaasat and jasleen help me to figure out the curry according to my budget.

My food came piping hot just the way I love it. Service was fast and all servers were very responsive. Jasleen was really helpful and catered to all my needs. I would definitely visit again and bring my friends with me.

We had extremely pleasant experience today. The lady who served us was very welcoming and was proactive in letting us know how the food was going to be (quantity and quality) Coming to the food, the taste was awesome and each item we ordered was delicious. We had highway paneer butter masala, garlic naan (soft and a bit crispy), chaat ka baap and mango lassi. The lady brought sample of paneer gravy to taste so that it is according to our choice (we wanted mild spicy because of kids). This shows that the curry was fresh. We are very happy and we will definitely visit again.
Had Aloo Parantha and Masala Chai here..beautifully served and 5/5 for taste as well..servers were really polite and were able to address all queries calmly..kudos to them for always wearing smile on their faces..will be back to try other items on the menu!

Raj & Kiv were the most pleasant waitresses. Its been a minute since I have met service people this nice. The food was absolutely amazing. Its a very small establishment, so seating can be limited. So prefer your food while you wait, so that when your table is ready, you are also ready to eat. The Washroom is also clean, so thats a plus.

The food was flavorful and enjoyable, but the washroom was not clean and needed better upkeep. Additionally, there was a noticeable delay in both taking our order and bringing the food to the table, which affected the overall dining experience. I suggest to get a better location with more space and cleanliness

This is my go to indian restaurant in Woodbridge. Weve always gotten takeout but one day we decided to eat in and it was the best. Eating in is something else when the food is piping hot and i always forget to take pics cuz i just want to eat asap. Weve tried a variety of dishes, butter chicken , lamb biriyani, shrimp makhani, garlic naan, lamb palak, all sooooo delicious. The girls there are always checking up on us to see if we need anything and the best thing about it is that theres a kids menu, my girl aint keen in curry so she can have nuggets and fries and i get to enjoy my indian.
Overall experience is amazing, loved the food as my kids love Chinese and Indian and surprisingly everything was great. Have been here before and will be coming again soon with family and friends. Parking: Parking is free so you won t waste time and money in finding parking, and also it s more convenient in winters specially when there is snow, not much of a walk from the parking.

we reached there to have dinner after the review (4.8) found in google...the customer service was good, place is bit small if to sit and eat...need prior booking...the issue was food..we bought lamb biryani..full of old smut rice smell...no traces of ghee/butter...just few yellow colored rice on the top of white rice..not good at all...butter nun was good...chiken tikka masala the sweetest one we ever had...so really disappointed.
