Kenny was our server and he attended to us very well.

Our dining experience was enhanced by our waiter, Adam, whose professionalism and attentiveness were noteworthy. He was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured that our needs were met promptly and courteously. we enjoyed a delightful dining experience that exceeded our expectations. We began with the mac and cheese poppers, which were crispy on the outside and filled with creamy, cheesy goodness a comforting start to our meal. To accompany our appetizers, we chose the sangria. The sangria was refreshing and well-balanced, complementing the richness of the poppers perfectly. For our entrées, we selected the fish and chips and a pasta dish. The fish was lightly battered and fried to perfection, with tender, flaky meat inside, and the accompanying chips were golden and crisp. The pasta was cooked al dente and tossed in a flavourful sauce. We look forward to returning to Pickle Barrel at Vaughan Mills.

Karen was our server and went above and beyond for me and my mom today. We were celebrating my moms bday and she made it very special for her.

Went in for a dinner with my family after a day out and was greeted and sat immediately by a nice young man, very pleasant and kind. Was served by a nice young woman who was the same, very personable and great with checking in on us (Jenna I believe was her name) everything was excellent right up until the food came out, we had starters that were tasty, fried pickles and nachos. Yum. Unfortunately it all turned around on me after the mains came out, I had ordered the fish and chips, and the fries were fine but you could build a house out of the fish, fried until the breading shattered, not flaky or tasty, just a luke warm brick of batter with a puddle of oil that would make Jed clampett tear up. I also indulged in a bowl of French onion soup which came out so different than the picture I was 99% I was being catfished. The picture advertised a nice oven baked bowl with cheese and croutons golden from toasting. This is not what I received. What was given to me was a side salad bowl filled with broth that was run under a hair dryer for 5 minutes to warm with croutons that were so soggy from being left in the bowl for what can only be assumed as a fortnight, that they disintegrated upon attempts to surgically get a bite of them. The cheese was very obviously shredded as it had not yet completely melted and basically snitched on itself as not being anywhere close to hot with limp strings floating in the bowl begging to be put out of their misery. I tried and I failed as upon my first bite the salt content of the soup required it to be served with a saline drip. It actually parched my tongue it was so salty. The server was terrific having returned the soup back to the kitchen from whence it came and struck it from the bill. She apologized profusely even though she had no personal hand in the tepid bowl of liquid sadness that I was presented with. The kitchen really let down the front of house as it was gorgeous inside and the service was phenomenal but you can t run an f1 car if the wheels keep falling off, it s really too bad as before the mains arrived, the rating was much higher. So in consequence of that I want it reflected that you may get a great meal or you may become confused at the dysphoric plate of panic placed in front of you, either way the place was clean and the service was awesome if only the kitchen took the customer experience as seriously as it should be taken.

Jenna H was a phenomenal worker. She always dropped into our meal asking if we and our meals were alright. She was very attentive to our needs every step of the way. Warmest thanks for your kind service, it enhanced our little celebration that night! All the Best!!

The experience was fantastic! Started with the deep-fried pickles, which were delicious, followed by the mushroom steak as my main course. The highlight, though, was the exceptional service from Prabeen. He was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect. A truly memorable meal with top-notch service!

We had called at least a week or two prior to coming to book reservations for 10 at that time. And called the day before to increase the sitting to 12 plus a high chair for a baby. When we arrived at 11:55am the table was not set up or ready for us. Once the table was ready the access to sit was only one side as the tables were pushed up against a wall (not sure how anyone is supposed to get in and out) - the kids ended up crawling under the table to get out. There was no high chair, when one was brought over the buckle was broken, the next one brought over had a missing strap, the third one was good. I understand we were a large group (ended up with 11 people and a baby), but the appetizers were cold and every meal (except the pasta meal and the side gravy for a sandwich were hot). They were lukewarm at the touch and cool by meals end. The only positive was the sever! She was amazing!!!!!

Fries came out crusty, soup was so salty and then when asked to exchange to chicken strips they gave chicken strips that are super tiny and said thats how they come when the people next to us got huge portions of chicken strips

When we arrived, no one was stationed at the exterior door to seat us. Took quite a while to get a table. Atmosphere was like a Denny s. Got seated and ordered an Apple blossom (or whatever they called it). Was a special, not on the menu. When we got rhetorical dessert, it was still slightly cold inside. I guess chef Mic didn t do a very good job reheating it. Portion was tiny. Maybe 3 long by 2 wide and some ice crème. Totally disappointed. Was like a child s portion. And then the bill came and it was $10! Not worth the money. And no oranges to have with wheat beer.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pickel Barrel, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our server, Bianca, truly made our visit memorable. Weve had her as our server twice now, and each time, she s gone above and beyond to ensure our meal was perfect. Her attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for our experience set her apart as one of the best servers Ive had. Overall, I highly recommend both the restaurant and Bianca as a server. The combination of fantastic service and delicious food guarantees that Ill be coming back again soon!

This was one of the best experiences at a restaurant that I have had in a while. The bartender Melissa was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the deli menu they have going on, she told us the features (the butternut squash soup was great). I loved that we got complimentary pickles to start along with our drinks, our food was hot and cooked to perfection. Unfortunately we tried to save room for the strawberry cheesecake that she recommended but we were too full by the end of it all! We will be returning and asking for her, you won t be dissatisfied!

I went for lunch with my five girlfriend s (over 65) last week. We thought the food was good but we also thought it was expensive. Our server Colm was excellent, he had a great personality, he was very pleasant, very funny and you could tell he s been a server for a long time as he really took care of us like we were his grandma s. We will be sure to ask for him when we go back next month.Thanks again Colm!!

Graham was our server. He was fast and very pleasant. Food was good had the Lettuce wraps. My only suggestion maybe use Butter (Boston) lettuce. Ice berg lettuce was ok but too watery and the ends were a bit brown. The chicken and the veggies were good. I have been to this location several times and have not been disappointed once.

I literally go there for happy hour just to order calamari. I love it. I do think they need to have a few more waiters working especially during happy hour when it starts to get a little busy, but our waiter was amazing and he has a great customer service. See you again.
