Went to State and Main for some dinner and drinks after work had a great time. Brad and Noreen were attentive and a pleasure to interact with. Brandon made great conversation as well. Fantastic bartenders for a fantastic establishment. Will definitely be back!

This is a wonderful place to eat. A very good menu with a little of many cultural cuisines. Great desserts too. We enjoy eating here at least a few times a year. The service is also very good and friendly.

Jonathan Tourantzas is the best server of all time he gives the best recommendations I loved the Baja California fish tacos. He makes the best cocktails and the au jus was out of this planet point blank phenomenal. He makes out standing cocktails. Whoever makes the honey mustard deserves a raise. Best places in vaughan on whatever you believe on make sure to come to the best place in the gta area ask for Jonathan Alexander Tourantzas he will give you the best attention to detail and recommendations I loved him.

Alisa was so amazing, she gave me a small sample of chimicuri sauce bc I never tried it before. While we were waiting for drinks, a younger busser dropped a glass and he got frazzled, but she helped him clean up the mess, she was so sweet and attentive. I hope she gets recognized because she was so humble and wonderful. People who do a great job always get unnoticed.... The steak fries were amazing, lost one star for the undoneness of my steak in the center , everything else was great. Thanks Alisa.

We were a party of 9 on a busy Friday night and had a fantastic experience. It s a tad loud be amuse it s so open, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything. The food was excellent. I only do a review when its necessary and tonight I have to praise Johnny the bartender/server. He not only was exceptional in his service he really was attentive, personable and had control of the whole bar. We love State and Main here in Woodbridge. We are never disappointed. It has become our goto place for celebrations as well. We had our small wedding reception here last year and there was something for every appetite and diet as we also have vegetarians in the family. I was here a week ago and the food was terrible, I had a salad with steak and it was like they had duped a bag of lettuce into a bowl and sliced tomatoes and topped it with steak, the meal was horrible to say the least. There was no dressing and when i asked the server to get some dressing, it was like the diluted the dressing with water, I had to ask for Tabasco first they said they dont have it till i repeatedly asked them, and then doused the lettuce in Tabasco to eat it.I know where I am never going again.

I absolutely love coming here, the food is absolute delicious you can never go wrong with bang band shrimp and the calamari incredible!! The atmosphere of this place is so welcoming and calm and the staff are so kind which the makes the service perfect ! Our server Anthony was absolutely amazing, always came to check up on us giving us the best recommendations that bread pudding was to die for !! Our go-to place with large crowd. Always very friendly and helpful to accommodate everyone. Staff is great and very helpful. Food is good. A bit loud music at times. Pretty good place and the prices are within reason. Portions are generous as well. One thing to note. The reservation was made through opentable and it asked if there was a special occasion or event to which I selected one. We were never asked about our special occasion by the staff which was fine but just wanted to point it out.

Disappointed. Food was not great at all. Fish tacos were a tortilla wrap with a huge mound of plain cabbage and one tiny fish finger. A 5 yr old could have put that together at home. The burger meat was very hard, low quality, not even up to the standard of a fast food burger. The service was difficult, very unfriendly, couldn t find anyone anytime we needed anything, they got the bill wrong. The seating was ridiculous. 6 people crammed into a booth, and everybody had to stop eat and get up and move everytime one person needed a washroom. I was embarrassed that I took my family from out of town here. Please save your money and go elsewhere. The prices here are fine dining level and the place is fast food level. This is not elevated comfort food, it s not elevated anything.

Busy and louder than usual but celebrating a birthday with delicious food and drinks this was more of a bar experience, drinks and small meals.

Was in last night with a reservation at 8:45 after a long day driving and were looking forward to a satisfying dinner, our server came about 10 minutes after we sat and took our order. our server didn t bring our drinks the bartender did and after about 25 minutes our food came, also brought out by someone else. After we didn t get checked on i finally asked the manager to bring our bill over. All in all our server took our order but didn t serve us our entire stay. It was super disappointing and many tables surrounding us were experiencing the same treatment. After a long day the endless waiting was very frustrating. Next time i m in Vaughn I will choose a different place to spend my money.

Trying state and main for the first time my fiancé and I were not impressed I ordered what I thought was the largest steak on the menu 10 oz and she had the blackened chicken dinner. My steak was kind of dry, and on the small side a very thin cut of meat and as we were leaving, I saw someone else eating a much larger sick cut steak that looked much better. Very disappointing. The blackened chicken dinner was just OK. I ve had better blackened chicken at turtle jacks. The service was great. Our server was great, but the food didn t do it for us, with the prices of things these days, you would think that we would ve got better food. Edit!! We were invited back for a complementary dinner that was amazing thank you state and main.

I had lunch here on Saturday July 27th and it was incredible! I was in the area picking wild flowers at a farm near by. My friend and I didnt want to leave our flowers in the car so we brought them in and they were a hit! The service from the moment we entered until we finished as perfect. We were welcomed by a friendly host, (I wish I had asked him his name) who also came by our table before we left and engaged in more conversation. We had a few servers stop by to chat about the flowers on our table during our lunch. The entire team was very friendly and warm and our server, Michael was flawless! He was personable and very attentive and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious. We had the pretzel app and it was to die for! 10 out of 10, would highly recommend! I will absolutely be back! Great job to all the staff!

This place was absolutely amazing! Great service from our server named Hazel, she was very friendly and helped us figure out meal accommodations for our vegan diets! It wasnt too noisy and the booths were very comfortable. The food was delicious and the plating of all of them looked so great! Special thanks once again to Hazel for making out experience there so much better! Vegetarian options: Much of the menu could easily be made vegetarian by substituting the meat patties for veggie patties and the chicken in the bowls and salads for soy chicken. The black bean patties were delicious.

Had dinner at State & Main restaurant last night in 3584 Major MacKenzie Dr W, Vaughan, ON L4H 3T6, with my wife and planning to enjoy the moment with her. I ordered a 9 ounce-s. sirloin medium well, waited more than 30 minutes for my food. I was so disappointed when my order came. My steak looks like it s been abused. It was taken off my bill though (after the fact).

We held our end of the year Social Staff event for our school. The servers were well organized and attended to our needs with true professionalism. The location Major Mackenzie and HWY 400. The drinks were mixed well and the food was nicely presented especially the Taco selection. If you are in the area drop in. There is something for everyone.

Just had a great meal with my family! Food was excellent and service amazing! Our server tonight was Anthony T and he was a pleasure to interact with! Highly recommend this restaurant and if you can, get a seat in Anthony s section.

Went there for lunch today,we were very pleasant to meet Vasso our server such a sweet girl from the moment we saw her with so much enthusiasm we knew what service to expect!we ordered some appetizers to share and some drinks!Thank you my lovely!We will be back again!!

Mediocre food. We came here 2nd time to see if maybe we just didn t have luck the first time.. unfortunately this time was even worse. Service was ok .. but the food was lacking. Lacking in flavor, not seasoned well and just disappointing.

They were really busy and despite that, the service, food and overall experience was top notch.

We visited this restaurant for the first time today. Nice place, food was good but our server Anthony T was excellent. Super nice, great smile and great personality. He helped with suggestions and I m glad I listened to him because the food was so good. Anthony checked in a few times to make sure we were doing ok but it wasn t overkill. I m so glad we went. The entire service staff here is totally on point. Service Manager Justin and his whole crew went above and beyond the experience for my family and I a phenomenal one. Highly recommend the patio folks! Bang Bang shrimp is a must have! Just ask for Anthony!! Keep up the great work team! We will be back for sure!

The employees here are constantly pressuring you to order. It is said that you have to come to the table 10 times and order something before our meal is finished, otherwise you have to get up. It was a black woman looking after our table. Even though all the tables in the garden section where we sat were empty. Please dont ruin such a beautiful environment with such nonsense!

I got the club chicken...I was expecting a typical club house type sandwich but this was a full breast on a bun. Other than that no complaints

Our server Anthony was great went above and beyond with service! Was great with bringing us in ahead of time out of the rain. Bar was understaffed along with the kitchen but overall great service and experience l.
