Good food and service. It was a lil awkward being asked for tips...we were eating when a kid with a coffee can came asking for tips for the band.i obliged but our dinner shouldn't have been interrupted by solicitation.
I ordered the appetizers of pretzel bites with beer mustard. Dinner was salmon with citrus glaze with sides mashed potatoes and house fries and baked macaroni and cheese. Pretzel bites were overcooked outside and hard with the center not done beer mustard was sour. I didn't eat either other than tasting. Salmon...I found it odd my server suggested ordering it medium if I didn't want rubber overcooked salmon so I took her suggestion and it was still overcooked and rubbery. Portion size for cost was awful also. The sides were just as under whelming I specifically asked what was in the mashed potatoes and after checking the server said salt pepper and butter only. Instead there were chunks of green that I don't even know what it was the color was all off also. House fries were soggy.
We made reservations, I recommend that, for 6. On 10/24 Walked in at 6 and got seated upstairs right away. Waitress was right there to take drink orders. We got those and appetizer really fast. Took a few minutes to get our food, fut it was very good, and again the Waitress was right there when ever needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
The drinks were good and the staff was attentive however I’m unsure who our server was. We had numerous staff members attempt to take our order even after we ordered. The food was slow to come out, we were served a sandwich missing the condiments described on the menu, the same sandwich had very little meat on it, and a baked potato that was not baked all the way. We were brought a second potato that was not even warm to replace the first unbaked potato. My least favorite part was Fox News on over the downstairs bar the entire time! I will not be in a hurry to come back and try again! I’m very disappointed and saddened by my experience. We need good restaurants in this town! I’m tired of driving to other towns to eat out. And for the love of all things in the service industry DO NOT have news channels on your television if your goal is to serve EVERYONE!
I will start by saying I have not walked out,nor have I not left a tip, in over a decade. FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL GO THERE.... We arrived at 3:40pm for a late lunch/early dinner. Drove by while traveling. There was confusion on how and where to seat us in the empty establishment. Once seated. We were told they could not take food orders until 4pm. We waited and our order was taken at or about 4:03. After many times being told our food would be out shortly only 1/3of it came out. That was at 4:50pm. I assume it was the floor manager came over about 4:40to ask us how we enjoyed our meal. We said we are waiting to get it.. never saw her again. At 5:05 we had enough and walked.. There were 3 other parties there . 2 came in after us. 1 had there food and left while we waited. The other a group of 7. Got thier food seemingly 1 dish at a time. I overheard them mention the bud light was warm. Our server was in effective and did not really seem to care or explain what was happening. At end when I asked for the check and to cancel rest of the order I was told there was a problem with the system. We paid our 18$ for grilled cheese and a tea.. and left without any real apologies or concern by management. Won't be back.
First & Last time I’ll ever be here. We came for breakfast because we saw it on their online menu and their manager/owner said they cancelled it today due to training. Their menu is SMALL. We were sitting for about 10 minutes before someone came over and took our drink order. Took almost an hour for us to get our food. Our food was mediocre. Also saw multiple people get up and leave because they were not being serviced. Honestly, the only things I appreciated during my visit was the music that they were playing in the dining room and that they offered a gluten free bun options for the burgers. Our time spent at the restaurant was AN HOUR AND A HALF. For mediocre food and not great service. Would not recommend!
We waited for over 15 minutes just to get our drinks, another 15 for them to find sugar for the coffee, 30 minutes to receive our appetizers, to which the corn fritters were burnt on the outside, raw on the inside, and had zero flavor. Fried pickle spears were good. Waited for them to make ranch dressing for appetizers after they were delivered. Been here for over an hour and still have not received our food.
The star of breakfast was the cheesy hash brown potatoes. The dish is called Rich. Everything else was good and they really brought the old log cabin to life.
First time, I will recommend it, food was good service was good the live music they had was kind of odd
Great atmosphere & service. We had the breakfast sirloin steak. The steak was seasoned well. Loved the hashbrowns! We will definitely be back for a steak dinner!

Absolute 10/10 resturaunt. This place could seriously rival Texas roadhouse. The steak with the redwine butter was AMAZING.Everything we ate was 10 out of 10. Nikki our server was very polite and attentive. Even gave us cheese cake on the house for our anniversary! Definitely will be back frequently!

I m giving it a 3 because the food was okay! The cheeseburger was burnt, the macaroni was horrendous! My husband said the tenderloin was awesome! The service was not good, we waited 20 minutes for drinks and had to ask. Maybe we will try again in 6 months!

The one problem is we sat at table 8 and the guy trying to help the cooks was standing right behind me and talking soooooo loud, very annoying. He needs to be inside the kitchen The ribeye was super good, but awfully thin. Parking: Parking is horrible
They yell at their employees in front of the customers, have already gone through 2 head chefs (one got fired and the second one quit after their first day,) the GM quit, and the owners are always yelling at everyone and never take any accountability. So many of their employees have already quit without notice because they couldnt stand staying there any longer. The owners have no experience owning a restaurant and are too prideful to let someone with actual experience in restaurant ownership and management take the lead. They care more about get food out quick than food safety. The owners told the kitchen staff to just cook chicken to 100°. Anyone whos worked in food service before knows that chicken needs to be heated to 165° to be safe for human consumption. Employees refuse to eat the food because of how its prepared. They told their employees that even if they were having a medical emergency or burn themselves, they need to not worry about it and deal with it later because getting food out is more important than the health and safety of the staff. The majority of the kitchen equipment no longer works. You couldnt pay me to eat here. They need to get their shit together before they dont have a restaurant anymore.
More like first n last time I ll come here! We were only the third group to walk into the restaurant and waited over an hour for our food that wasn t even hot when it arrived at our table. The menu has very limited options and the burgers were very tiny for a $11 sandwich which they forgot multiple toppings on my sandwich. Multiple people were waiting over 15 minutes just to have someone come take their drink order and ended up leaving. The servers were running around everywhere seeming very unorganized and inexperienced. We had to find our server just to l our drinks. We originally came here for the breakfast but they had canceled the whole days breakfast due to training in the morning, even though breakfast runs until 3.
For context, I have never left a review for any restaurant in my life. I am a local to Vernon, and was excited about this place opening. I can safely say I will not go here again, at least in the near future. We sat down about 12:10 and didnt recieve our food until about an hour later at 1:10. My girlfriend ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with no lettuce tomato or onion and it came out with all of those on it. I ordered a tendorloin sandwich, which was mediocre at best, and a caesar salad that came out with no dressing on it at all. I asked for dressing and it took them at least 10 minutes to bring me a cup of caesar. The menu already is short, only 1 page long, so you would think the servers and cooks know it by heart. They dont. With it being lunch hour on a Sunday, the service was not packed and only 1/3 or so of the tables were seated with customers. I cant imagine how slow they would be with a full service. I understand that this restaurant in newly opened, and it might take some time for staff to get comfortable and in a rhythm to get orders out fast and precise.All in all, our experience was a lot worse than what i was expecting. Maybe Roadhouse will get better and the service will be faster, but until then I will not be dining at this establishment. The only thing I enjoyed was the beer. I would give 0 stars if i could.
Everyone was friendly. The food was descent. They did mess up our orders. They corrected it. It did take about 50 minutes for the food to get to our table. Price was not bad. There was not a lot on the menu. Would I go back? No Parking: Okay Wheelchair accessibility: Outside seating
Great place over all and very accommodating to gluten-free meals. The waiters and waitresses are all awesome and patience with customers. Dietary restrictions: This place is accommodatng to a gluten-free menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for those that are in wheelchairs
We had a 6:30 RSVP for 7 got seated about 6:15 so that was great ! They have a very limited menu and could barely even read it bc the print was so small took some time for the waitress to come and take our drink orders , then after everyone got the regular drinks it took another 10 minutes or so for the 2 alcoholic drinks . After about 20-25 minutes finally took our appetizer order (2) then about another 15-20 minutes took our food order ( our waitress Christy A ( only know that bc of her name badge , never introduced herself) only had the 2 tables ) 2 others did help her .. when we ordered ( 45 minutes later ) they were out of Alfredo , then out of Brussel sprouts . When we finally got our food all the steaks were way over done , food was cold , and no we didn t say anything bc we were afraid it would take another 1hr-1hr and 15 minutes to get different food .. Mac and cheese and fries were decent and the fried tenderloin was delicious and hot ! Definitely not worth the $180 spent and the hour and 40 minutes , really hope they get the training, kitchen and service figured out The place does look great so they have that going for them ..

I would not recommend this resturant to anyone . Arrived at 3 & told they werent serving until 4. I ordered a sirloin steak well done it came out bloody & raw. Sent it back twice. Everytime it came back it was bloody & raw. Husband had a breaded tenderloin. It was dry & very bland. Service was poor. Manager ( I think,) came to table. Was very very rude will never go back. Has to be the worst resturant we have tried. It was alot better when it was Lindas Log Cabin. I would rate this resturant as a negative 1
We had reservations and waited 40 minutes no big deal. Then his steak is ice cold can t get a manager to take a min to talk to us. So we left and they lost money and will lose more if they don t put customers first.
Definitely recommend trying. You won t regret it. A lot of employees to help you. Quite of bit of alcohol too and two bars , One upstairs and one downstairs. Definitely did a good job remodeling the place and the outside patio looks good. Come try this place out in Vernon, Indiana Parking: Some spots up by building or you can park across the road in a parking lot that is free to park.
