I think it's rediculous that there food is never ready when they open. You open at 10am you should be there at 930 to be prepared for service at 10 am.
I haven’t been in this place for quite a while, and I’ll tell you what, it is pretty awful at this time. The menu is very poor and based on a very few choices of breaded, chicken or pork, and the chow mein was dry and stale, I could not even finish my plate, definitely the last time I stopped at this place
I ordered the 3 portion menu. Noodles, sweet sour pork and beef & broccoli vegetables. I could not chew through the super sweet pork which was very dry. The noodles were boring. The vegetable mix was soupy, soggy, salty and barely had any meat, the broccoli hard. $18 for this. Everything tasted like it was sitting for a few hours. The portions are great but over half my food was tossed out. This is a first for me for hard candied dry meat and vegetable soup beef stir-fry. The spring rolls need a sauce to soak in to eat them. Against my better judgement after a friend said they couldn't eat their $40 take home food, I tried it again. Bento sushi is a 100 percent better choice for price and quality
I will personally never eat here again . Food poisoning yesterday and I've been at the hospital all day today consistently puking from both ends . Unsafe food practices. Save yourself and do not eat here . I've never been so sick in my life .
Horrible service because they don't tell you they are out of something until after you've paid. When you run a Chinese restaurant, Soya Sauce is part of your restaurant. If you knew you were running out and needed to go to the store, probably should have done that. And when you yell at customers because you can't properly stock your store, thats just sad. Everyone. Spend your money somewhere else. Sub par food and even worse service
It's usually the only fast food that I visit in the mall with an exception to A&W. My only complaint is that every time I go there, there never is any bourbon chicken. My question is, why??? It's posted on the window!!
The food was pretty good, and the service was about the same. Honestly, wasn't anything special in any way, but it also wants unpleasant! Rough review, but all of all, I'd probably come back if I was hungry and right there.
It's very average. Service was quick, fast, and friendly. The woman who worked here for a really long time. I should note it is my first at Sizzling Wok in about ten years. The two course meal comes in this small takeout container rather a large plate in the past. I think it's due to the pandemic. The two course meal is 12 bucks. The mixed vegetables was super hot and had a weird spice on the lettuce. The chow mein doesn't have any meat so it is vegetarian friendly. They sadly were out of Shanghai noodles. Again, the staff was great. It's just the food didn't have as much flavor as I remembered from a long time ago. It could have just been an off day during a stressful time in history.
Fountain drinks machine broken. Out of cups for water. Out of soy sauce. Utensils cost extra?? Food ok. Food

I am not happy with todays visit. I wanted 2 spring rolls and the cook told the front end person no and that they were not cooking any even though it was still 2 hrs before closing Very bad for business, this will be the last time I eat at this location

Believe it or not, it s the best Chinese in Vernon at the moment. I ve went to every single Chinese place in vernon and I ve found this one to be the best.
The quality is good but the servings are smaller and they charge extra 25 for a second soya sauce. And they didnt have any chopsticks.
Sick as a dog. Had to upgrade cell decided to grab quick dinner and bring home. Up all night. So dinner that cost $36 really cost $386 as I wont be going to work today.

Id be cautious if you dont like food poisoning. The food should be kept cold and thensizzled on a wok. But big pile of food is premade and the temps are perfect for bacteria growth. Very good tastings simply because its loaded with sugar. You get more then you should eat. I ate it. Felt good. Pay the price later.
This food stop regularly closes early and never has all the food prepared during open hours. The staff are rude, unprofessional and could care less for your business! Two thumbs down.
I would give zero stars if I could . The food was disgusting I ate less then 1/4 of it and still felt sick all afternoon . Worst Chinese I have ever eaten wouldn t doubt if it was cat meat they fed me very glad I didn t eat all of it . Highly recommend avoiding eating what they call food
The food is never fresh and the veggies have some sort of jello on them. It used to be good but went downhill over the last 3 years. Also there is a very odd lady working there that should control where her hair dangle. At least their soup is hot enough to melt the plastic it comes in tho lol

The food was so gross the soup tasted old and rubbery I ordered sesame seed chicken it was spicy and it s not supposed to be it was so nasty made me puke
The counter staff talk over peoples open food while dishing it into containers and serving it and no masks!! When I asked them why they don t wear masks they said it was because they work over steaming food and it causes them to sweat which makes it a worse situation. These are all young people. I can t imagine it being worse than caring about the public and taking precautions to protect them by wearing a mask instead of making excuses and whining about it. I have not and will not eat from there again. Every food place in the food court wear masks and some are cooking and working with hot steaming food but they care enough for the people they serve and wear a mask. No excuses. Nice to see that not even a week after this originally posted that they are now wearing masks. Thank you so very much for caring

I normally love it here but I just orders soup and it smelled funny and the chicken looked disgusting and a tad undercooked.
Not sure but this is not chicken .
The food is ok, but a 3 item (course) meal is $9.65. This does not include a drink. Their portions are getting smaller too. When I mentioned that my portion was small she did nothing. I remember when they used to fill the takeout container, now its just over half full. Anyways, for a buck or two more you can go to Temptasian and get twice the amount with MUCH better quality. I will not be going back.
