Today is a sad day, after being a patron of this pub for 30 years, tonight was my last visit. Maya (Maia) is the rudest server I have experienced here. She cant be bothered to stop and talk to take an order and when she does finally stop, she walks away mid sentence. She was exceptionally rude to my guest tonight. This place used to be so friendly and the service used to be exceptional.

The waitress we had was amazing she always had a smile and friendly even though she was the only waitress. The food was good,I had the beef dip was good, but the side of gravy was so good.

While normally there food is delicous, I sadly am only making this review to give others a heads up. The listed hours are inconsistent as if they want they will close early, and if you are wanting orders for pick up sometimes they will just say they wont do them. So far it has been 50/50 chance of whether there is any success in being able to get food from here which is dissapointing because the food is amazing.

Had fish and chips. Chips looked and tasted 3 days old, fish was battered then rebatterd. As I told the bartender waitress, whom couldnt care less. Never go back. Food : 1/5

First time I ever complained but they earned it! Worst fish and chips Ive ever had bar none! Beer battered fish is usually awesome but the batter over an inch thick was WAY to thick and the fish was smaller than my thumb. First I friendly complained they offered a second piece which was the same! Ok maybe its just not my day for fish.. they didnt even offer to remove it from bill. Worst fish between Revelstoke and Penticton wont be back!

I love the dog-friendly outdoor patio and specialty dog food, and my dog did too. Highly recommend to dog owners and lovers.

Bob Wolf is an asset to this club, a great coach and always comes with a positive attitude . The waitresses are polite and happy to help. My son had the BEST date night playing racquetball with chicken wings (delicious ). Kid-friendliness: Perfect date night idea for kids who enjoy racket sports!

Fries were not hot, Roster burger was not cooked right through, the kaiser bun was nice though. Prices were fair. The girl that served us was awesome, especially since it was during a second raunchy comedy show with a bunch of noisy drunks at one table ruining the atmosphere.

Chicken wings are smallest in town, and cooked until the meat is hard. Way too small and loud.

Sadly, a very poor showing for this place The mile high beef dip is probably the thinnest one I ve ever had. The name of the nachos sounded quite rough and tumble, but it didn t even come with a meat and only top layer was covered with cheese. We ordered chicken wings that had no dips and no flavour. The waitress was grumpy. The food was mediocre at best.

Honestly just so disappointed. Booked 4 slots a golf sim a week in advance and got the dust off our clubs for a special event for my birthday. We showed up on time and they told us we didnt have a booking even though we had email confirmation. PLUS our money was already taken and we had emails to prove our reservation. We are so upset. It ruined our weekend. To drive from out of town and to have looked forward to the event all week just to be told there was nothing that they could do was so upsetting it makes me want to cry. OUR MONEY WAS TAKEN ALREADY.

Good friends great food will be going there again

Ive been here lots for food, drinks and racketball. No complaints there, still very happy with all of those. Went to try the golf simulator today. Very unhappy with it. Cage is too small to swing if you are 6 and over. The simulator they have purchased is home grade/personal use at beat. Not very accurate, does not register putting or chipping at all. Had to re swing so many time until it would register. Took us 3 hrs to complete 10 holes. Cant get a tee into the mat. Cage needs to be 12 higher and probably 2 wider each way. Damaged our clubs off the top and side of the cage. Not impressed, wont be back to use the golf simulator again. Too bad, cause I was very excited to finally have a golf simulator in town that we could have food and drink at. Strictly Golf has spent alot more on a quality simulator and it shows.

Great ambience, service and delicious, fresh food. Bathrooms were spotless, too! Wish we lived closer to it as we would be regulars. Husband loved his meat burger and I really enjoyed my veggie burger.

Food was great went for comedy show had a blast

Roster s had a comedy night and we went to the late show with my mother for her birthday. Only to have a bunch of people in the front row, stoned and drunk and vaping in the room during the acts. A third of the way through the main act we decided to leave as we couldn t stand the vaping and couldn t hear the comedian and his act as they were louder and over riding him. As we left the waitress ask if we were leaving and why. After we said we couldn t handle the noise from the front row and they were vaping, All she said was, Really!, I didn t see that happing and sorry. The show fell off the rails and the main liner couldn t recover or get back control. Also the sound system they were using was poor and way to much bass for the acts voices, making it hard to understand what they were saying. Over all very disappointing.

I have to say, I absolutely loved it! The server was a little busy, but her charming personality and sense of humor more than made up for it. Despite the busyness, we never felt ignored or neglected. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I plan to make this my regular restaurant from now on. Highly recommended!

2nd time within 10 months now, terrible food! I wrote an unfavourable review a few months back & was contacted & given free wings to come back. I went back again last night & it was even worse than before! The wings were from a hummingbird not a chicken they were so small! The smash burger that apparently had won best burger was very dry, no aioli, reg mayo scare diced red onion & two of the smallest dried out burger patties I have ever experience. The patties on the burger were the size of a toonie & the cheese non existent. They wanted $21.00 for this burger, I sent it back & we went to Dairy Queen, I has an original; double with cheese & was happy for only $6.99. I will never go to rosters again. Its really a shame because at one time it was really good food! Below you will see an answer from the manger! Smoke screening with details about aioli, my partner made the post after ordering the other smash burger, both were not good regardless of truffle aioli, red onions etc. To future customers, just beware the food is not worth the price!

We went in to try the golf sim and had a blast. Very nice set up with food service in the sim room which was great. I had the best smash burger I have had in a long time! My BF had the fish and chips and said cooked to perfection. We shared some wings which were so tasty too. You have to try the Trevor Hot sauce. The server was very busy but so friendly and always made sure to check despite how busy she was. Great vibe in the place. Great food. Great service.

Saturday lunch, I had a delicious Babe Ruth burger and a pint of beer. Food was great, beer was nice and cold. Thank you for the lovely waitress for the fast and friendly service, shes amazing! It was my first time, I will be back for sure!

Just left... in fact Im in the parking lot. What a wonderful experience. Food was good, came out quick and was hot. The server was amazing. Place was mostly full, and she was movin and grovin, beepin and boopin and wasnt missing a beat. Glad I decided to try this place on a whim. Was great to take a chance and be pleasantly satisfied. #theserverrocks

Really really enjoyed there burger wars entry the Stampede burger great flavor and a large portion. Small casual sports bar setting, need to try a few more menu items here!! Dec 2022 Still very good food, need to try the golf sim now! Nov 2023 , one of the top 1 or 2 pubs in vernon for food. Been back here a few times and will be back more.

We went for a comedy show in the back room. This was our first time at this venue, it was a bit weird. Very small room. The service was amazing though. The food was typical fried pub food

Great place! Had lots of fun playing Squaseball and Squash.

Kind of fun atmosphere, sports bar, you know. Seemed like a cheerful, friendly clientele. But the service was poor, no great surprise, one server for the whole room, pretty much run off her feet even though the game crowd hadnt really arrived by the time we left. We waited and waited just to order our meal. Then we waited and waited for it to be served. And when the food finally came it was, well, not very good. I had the supposedly award winning burger, two wafer-thin patties grilled to the texture and taste of cardboard. And not cheap. Always irritating to pay top dollar for badly prepared food. Honestly, I think youd get a tastier hamburger from Burger King or MacDonalds for a small fraction of the price. My old Dad had heard it was good and maybe it was, once upon a time. He seemed to enjoy the experience, but I dont think well go back again. Maybe just for a beer sometime to enjoy the ambience.

Best place in town by far! Not just a sports bar. Lots of activities and fun. Lots more to do than meets the eye. Need to look around. The Golf sim and courts are easily seen. Look deeper, there is a lot more to do. All activities are inclusive for all levels of ability. The Resteraunt is casual with great service and food.

I don t typically do reviews but felt compelled. I had not been to The Roster in years and I can t believe the transformation. From the food to the activities. A buddy mentioned The Roster had a new golf sim and asked to play. It was such a buzzing place. They still have racquetball, squash and wallyball but now two golf sims and even pickleball. They have darts and ping pong too. They offer great party options with activities so going to book my next staff party there. The food is top notch. I had the best burger I ve had in years and was great to eat and have a beer while golfing. The service was the best too. Such friendly and attentive servers. I ll be back!

My friends and I had lunch here. They were a little short staffed but tried their very best to keep up with the orders. We were all very pleased with our lunches. The special of Broccoli soup and turkey sandwich was plentiful and tasty. My Maple Leafs salad meal was excellent. It included roasted avocado, cranberries, nuts, orange slices, fresh rhomaine and baked chicken. We would definitely come again.

A friend and I signed up for some beginner Racquetball lessons with Bob Wolf at Rosters and have to say it was a fantastic experience. I didnt realize the uniqueness of the facility here in Vernon and the instruction from Bob was great. He was responsive to what we found helpful and did a great balance between drills and game practice. Careful if you sign up with Bob to learn Racquetball - you might get hooked!

This little place is a great vibe, foods great and they have virtual golf now too which is fun to go plays some holes while having a pint or 2 or 3 esp with a group of mates.

Heard great raves about the food so thought we would try it. Big mistake Waitress was exceptional . Burgers they rave about terrible so over cooked. Should call it the hard crunchy burger awful. We will not return. The only good thing was the waitress that served us!!

My husband and I had dinner here because it was near our hotel and had a lovely time. The patio is bigger than it seemed from a walk past it earlier, and I had assumed that a sports bar would focus on plentiful and inexpensive drinks, to be diplomatic, but the food was really good! Our server Miriah was friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free options, and my lettuce-wrapped chicken burger was delicious. So were the truffle-parmesan fries I stole from my husband ;)

I love the food at Rosters - the nachos, the wings, the lunch specials and the Vipers Smash burger.

The food here was fantastic. I had the Caprese salad (best one I have had) and hubby had the award winning Vipers Smash burger. Server was so friendly and loved all the sports memorabilia. Such a great vibe here.

best burgers and sandwiches in town. the steak sandwich special is an amazing bang for buck. Rosters serves a vegetarian burger thats true competition for a beef burger and delicious whether youre vegetarian or not. personally, I have to suggest the clubhouse sandwich. seating is very limited in Rosters. literally, the inside bar has seating for maybe 30,but more like 20 (? correct me if Im wrong) and its been like that - crammed and loud and filled with great food - for a very long time. I noticed the patio has been expanded, but havent been in. Im sure its great in the evenings with the weather weve been having Vegetarian options: basic vegetarian options as far as salad and soup..... however -. their vegetarian burger is outstanding and worth going to rosters for Parking: there isnt a parking lot, just on the street and in a cul-de-sac next to rosters.

Service used to be good but new management doesnt do a very good job with scheduling. Shouldnt have to wait 45 minutes just to order food. 2 newbies on by themselves. Good kids but they are new, thrown to the wolves.. Rachel the manager is trying but not allowed to make decisions.

Have to say this was an interesting experience. Everything in town seemed to be closed so my gf and I went here with my 11 yr old son, not realizing it was mainly a bar. The gracious staff opened up the VIP lounge to accommodate us. We had some great food and a really fun time. Thanks so much to the bartender and server that went out of the way to make us feel like valued guests!

I dig rosters sports club and bar dont be confused its not just a sports bar its a sports club racquetball courts etc but they also have a great space in the back where I recently saw them do some live comedy Im glad I found this place in Vernon before I knew it existed I would always go all the way to Dakotas in Kelowna I cant wait to see what else this venue has in store
