Very good food and good service, Id highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Chinese food!!

Went there because on Google it shows pictures of a buffet and was told that they haven t done a buffet in years? Pretty disappointed that they couldn t be bothered to update their picture

We usually order from Asian Avenue once a month and we are always pleased. Tonight we ordered and it was exceptional!! Everything was perfectly done! Way to go Asian Avenue!

Comment first before eating it Chowmein

Hubby & and I were in town for the weekend and were staying next door. We decided to give it a try a little late in the evening and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Between the two of us we sampled the wonton soup, spring rolls, chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, almond chicken, lemon chicken, and the show stopper, Ginger Beef (which was everything you always want Ginger Beef to be, but seldom is). Our server, Jen, was attentive, funny and all around wonderful. We will definitely be back the next time were up this way!

You know how different restaurants have your favorite dishes, like this place has the best chow mein but that place has the best sweet and sour pork? Well, you can forget about all that and just know Asian Avenue has pretty much the best everything. Seriously. Each dish we tried was extremely well-executed and was among the best we had ever had anywhere. Vernonites are very lucky to have this place.

Ordered 2 big trays of Chow main for our wedding. 1 tray was completely undercooked and couldnt be served at the wedding. When we tried to rectify with the restaurant after the wedding, they were completely unreasonable and asked us to bring the noodles back, so they could check?

I came here to eat at a restaurant on a group trip. I didnt expect Vernon to have such delicious and authentic Chinese food, and the soup is also delicious; I can feel that they attach great importance to their guests. You must try it next time you pass by here

Took our family to Asian Avenue always had great service and meal. This time was awful. They had a couple of banquets and were backed up with take out. We were told hour after our order we would have to wait til they got caught up with take out orders. No offer of round of drinks while we waited . They told us several times order would be late. Everyone else around got their orders. Our reservation was 6:00 almost two hours later we got our food unfortunately the order was wrong. Yes we spoke to management. They really did it care. Packed up and left very very very annoyed at the terrible service and treatment. We will never recommend or go to Asian Avenue again. Thanks for maki g the evening a complete waste of money and time. Do not waste your time going here they do not respect repeat customers!!!!!!!!

Felt like food was below average for the price..we ordered chowmein, fried rice and crispy prawns..chowmein was almost flavorless, crispy prawns was good...fried rice was not upto the mark..it was not up to the mark

Terrible dry food. The almond chicken was so dry and tasteless my dog wouldn t eat it. I tried to find some chicken in the chicken chow menu. Guess they forgot to include it. Don t waste your money.

Picked up take out from this place. We were pretty shocked at what we received for the price we paid. Very small portions, and the quality of the food was not great. The woman on the phone told us 1 of our orders would feed two. We decided to get a second anyway. Even with both, it just barely cut it. We ordered last time from the Golden Crown. We paid the same price within a couple of dollars. But everything there was 10 times better. Especially the portions and the quality of our orders. Perhaps the dine in experience at Asian Avenue is better, Im not sure. But as far as take out orders are concerned, I do not recommend

Amazing Chinese food in Vernon, the service is great and the portions are huge. We tried the new deluxe combo and was blown away. Definitely will be coming back.

One of if,not the best Oriental foods we have had in Vernon

I have been going to Asian Avenue for approximately 7.5 years. The service has always been super friendly as well as the food. My go-to is always the Singapore Rice Noodle just because it has a good flavour and is perfect being gluten-free. The owners are super nice as well which is a plus. They ended up making a gluten-free and vegetarian section as well, so others with dietary restrictions can order with ease. Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy, and they have a page on the menu for gluten free. I found out as well that a hidden specialty for gluten free is the Sweet and Sour Pork which is delicious

I have never had a bite to eat inside the restaurant. I am normally a takeout eater and I have nothing really negative to say about the service or the food. Satisfied every time with every meal.

I went with my husband to a dinner and they made us feel very uncomfortable, we ordered dinner and when we finished they immediately gave us the bill without asking for it, as if they wanted us to leave the restaurant immediately. The restaurant was not full. We feel very upset and uncomfortable, this action made us think that the restaurant is racist and classist. I would really think about going back there.

Great portion sizes

Awful... worst asian food Ive ever tried to eat. Chow Mein was oily and had no flavor other than the oil it was saturated in. Sweet n sour was very greasy as well.. Oil was the only flavor I tasted so I gave them 1 star for food and 2 stars for service since they happily took my $90... shoulda went for steak instead.

The only chinese food restaurant to eat at! Always delicious fresh food and an amazing selection when choosing the buffet. The sesame chicken might be the best chinese food selection i have ever tasted. We go back to this restaurant multiple times a month and have and will keep recomending this place to everyone we know who is looking for a dinner or lunch choice! Serving staff is always fast and friendly. Owners always make a point of coming to visit with us to see how we are doing. Would never think of going to another chinese food restaurant to eat at, nothing else comes close!

This is our go to place when we crave for good food. The place is nice and cozy customer service is great specially Arielle, we would look for her everytime we dine in. Food is fairly priced and the serving is really good.

I recently moved to Vernon from Ontario, and I was looking for an authentic asain cuisine. Well Asian Avenue bested me because not only do they have a delcious menu with VERY generous toppings, but the service here is outstanding! In particular, Arielle and I believe her name is Brandy. These two are the reasons why my friend and I visit this place regularly. The owner or manager, who we have seen a few times, is always welcoming and warm. Get the Make your own combo it is amazing.

I came with my wife for second time because the first time the service was awesome. Today I didn t like that the lady who attend us brought us the bill before we asked for it, and then she came back with the card machine to quickly make the payment. To be honest, I felt that a kind of rude to me, because they make me feel as if they wanted me to leave the restaurant faster than I wanted I was taking a date with my wife because of Valentine s Day but they make us feel unwelcome at the restaurant. After my last visit I came back yesterday with my family just to confirm that the flavour is awesome!

Excellent experience.

Very disappointed in lunch today. Food didnt taste fresh and was not super hot. My friend and I were the first customers of the day so I dont know what happened. I have dined in before and food was fabulous. Extremely disappointing today.

What the heck? Most amazing Chinese food ever. Please tell me places where its better than here. Classic dishes tried: SS pork: very light breading, sauce didnt look fake red, wasnt 5 litres of sauce on plate. Ginger beef: light breading, middle still moist. Not as good as Calgary ginger beef but better than every place Ive tried in BC. Couldve used a tad less sugar in the sauce. Garlic pork: light breading, moist. Simple ingredients (and Im guessing but think it was seasoning salt, garlic powder, msg). Both pork dishes, meat was trimmed very well. Deep fried prawns - cut similar to Japanese sushi style with very light breading - amazing. Perfect! Chow mein - I prefer sesame oil and vegetables mixed in = could have used more flavor. Dry but Im ok with that it wasnt soggy or oily. To be honest, Ive been making excuses to go back to Vernon just to come back to this place! Lol

When I come to Vernon this is the only Chinese restaurant I come to. This is the best DF wonton I ve ever had anywhere in the western provinces. Food was very good and the prices are reasonable.

Was my first time there. Very clean. Very comfortable. Ladies were great. We had the buffet. Not greasy at all. Great assortment of food. Veggies were not mushy and the seafood was not rubbery. Large assortment of fruit and desserts. Will for sure go again. 6 years later I came back not sure how but that was the best F%^king meal I have had in a long time. With the economy as it is its hard to justify going out. My God go here I swear go eat here

Went there and ordered the dinner for 3 although food was good the bowl of noodles that came was a good size but the sweet and sour pork and the chop suey was considerably smaller. Dont go by the price that they show you online because the dinner for 3 is $64.95 online but is actually $75.95 on there menu and dinner for 4 is $15 dollars more in the restaurant

I m really particular when it comes to this cuisine and found some dishes excellent (eg: honey garlic pork) and others not so great (eg: house chow mein). Good quality meat cuts (chicken, beef, pork) and ingredients so likely this is just a personal taste. What really impressed me about this business was the service. A very polite Allison nailed my long order and read it all back - which is appreciated. Then prior to the expected delivery time I got a call telling me the order was running late on a busy Friday night and an updated ETA was provided, along with their apologies. Don t think I ve ever had a restaurant call ME in the thousands of times I ve ordered for delivery, regardless of how late it was. These are all indications of a well run business operated by people who care about their customers experience. Makes it easy to support rare places like these.

Quality is ok and you get lots of filler like noodles/rice but the meat portions seem to get smaller and smaller every time i come here. I probably wont be back as the value just isnt there anymore.

Amazing Chinese food. Delivery is a bit on the steep side but it s worth the $9 for how delicious it is! My favourite is the Ginger beef and the almond chicken, but overall everything that I ve tried tastes fresh and yummy. The full-size portions are quite large and would be perfect for sharing. I normally order the combination plate and have never been disappointed.

Traveled all day from Northern BC on our way to Kelowna and Google Asian restaurants and decided to give Asian Avenue a try. Excellent service, fabulous food. Great pricing. I would absolutely eat here again when in Vernon and would 100% recommend to anyone.

Pleasantly surprise to find such a good quality Chinese restaurant in Vernon, where it it least expected due to the extremely small Chinese population. Lady boss and her staff are friendly and service was great! We ordered the hot and spicy soup; kung pao chicken, beef with sugar peas; salt and pepper prawn, beef with green onions; sweet and sour pork. This place is highly recommended if you are craving for Chinese food. From Vancouver.

The quantities were substantial. The service was professional and attentive. The restaurant was roomy and well laid out, although it was on the functional, rather than aesthetic, side. The rub? My combination dish ( which was Chow Mein, Sweet and Sour Pork and Pork Fried Rice) was, um... Meh. It may have been the dish. I may have been me. But, it was particularly Meh.

Service was slow. Take out was crazy busy.

This is my go-to for Chinese food in Vernon. I would love to see the buffet come back. Not sure if that is a provincial restriction these days. The food is always fresh, hot and ready fast.

Dropped in for takeout. Pork chop Suey just great. Baby corn was a nice addition. Pork was very tasty. Chicken chow mein was tasty, moist. Prices didnt have a big covid uptick which was nice. Great eggrolls. And everything was hot. Will be back

Please make sure the ribs are fresh, as I got really bad stomach after eating the sweet fried ribs yesterday. Would not try again. Glad my kids didnt eat as he said bit of strange smell. Other dishes are ok. But getting expensive.

I loved this place. From the cleanliness, to the service, to the food. I had the chicken chow mein, chicken balls with red sauce, and sweet and sour pork. It was very good. It could very well be the best Chinese food I have ever had. Definitely coming back. Also I like that they are open until 10pm.

I havent dined in here since before the pandemic. Today was the first day of the passport and was very happy to see it being fully enforced on the first day! They checked our IDs before letting us in, and those without were very politely refused and turned away. They let my girlfriend get one spring roll for her combo, and I got the Shanghai noodles. Big portions and tasted delicious! Staff is friendly as always! Also, in the words of Andre 3000 everything was so was so fresh and so clean clean. Please note buffet is discontinued during covid. I cant wait for normalcy one day and stuff myself with soft serve ice cream smothered in chocolate syrup repeatedly at some point in the future!

Asian Avenue has the most consistent quality Chinese Food in Vernon, BC in my opinion It is always promptly ready for pickup when the staff say the order will be ready. Good Job Asian Avenue!
