On our visit on tuesday we got to taste dishes made by chef on duty top of the class food and made everything to our choice and made delicious Indian style veggie lasagna out of the menu item it was a special request. Great food will visit again.

Very bad experience, i live in canada from 2014, but its my worst experience in this restaurant. I went to this restaurant, and there are lot of dead flies and microbes on the table . And also waiteress is so careless.

I want to start out by saying that the service was really good. The girls serving were attentive and friendly. They even surprised us by comping one of the dishes for us. But this is some of the worst Indian food Ive ever had. The raita tastes like theres mayo in it?! The eggplant curry....Ive never seen anything like that. It tasted more italian than indian. Momos came out cold twice and did not taste good. Were frozen in the middle and the dough was hard. It also was served with rotten cilantro sprinkled on top. Like brown and slimy cilantro. Roti was good. I wouldnt want to eat there again unless they turn things around and start making proper authentic food.

Their pieces and menu are very misleading. I d called ahead specifically to ask if the item we were going to order would be enough for two people, and they confirmed yes. After half an hour, when I get there to pick up my order, it wasn t ready. After waiting for another 10 mins, when they handed me the order, I couldn t believe how small it looked. So I asked them to ensure they d included all the pieces. Again, they said yes. So I opened the bag in front of them and checked the order. They seemed to have included all the items but the quantities of each were so small, that it would barely be enough for one person. When I questioned that, they told me that it was an appetizer item, hence the quantities are small. When I confronted them about having called prior to ordering, and they didn t mention anything about appetizer size on the call, the lady dealing with me just shrugged it off. Instead of offering to fix the situation, their attitude was like I should ve known better. I gave them the chance to clarify when I called prior to ordering. And then they expect tips on take out orders!

Usually order takeout as the dine-in atmosphere is rather stark. The food is very good with generous portions but the samosas are heavy and dry due to the thick pastry. Other than that, it s our go to .

I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was blown away. The chicken was tender, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. The sauce had a delicious blend of spices, and the medium heat had some kick to it. They give out generous portions and I definitely recommend the food! This was an easy five stars!!

Best Indian food in vernon, had some family come up from the Kootneys and are plant based as well as gluten free and they had tons of options for them and they were terrific. Hi ordered the Tikka Chicken when it was served to my table on a hot sizzling hot plate all the vegetables were burnt to the cast iron pan the chicken was burnt had a terrible burnt taste in my mouth.I told the waitresses how terrible abd burnt the food was .She seemed to care she went back to the cook and they said they werent replace it .Then the cook came to me and said he works make me a new order bit it would burnt like I got .I said no I dont want .They offered me anything on the menu for same value.But I was parked in a place I had to leave they said it would be 30 or 35 minutes so I just left with a very sour taste in my mouth .From the wrost food Ive had at a east indian restaurant. I will never go back to this restaurant. I okay this Tikka Chicken at Made In India the very best cooked with pride. I would rate this the wrost east indian ever had.I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone sorry I had to put this review on.

This is fantastic quality Indian cuisine. Compared with other local options, it is also good value for money in that the serving sizes are generous at a slightly lower price point. Hot (spicy) is hot and garlic is garlic! Unconditionally recommended.

Have gone to this place many times for past 3 years. The service has gone from bad to worst. The food taste terrible. Ordered amritsari kulcha and received under cooked barely stuffed piece of dough. On the other order there was hair. One of the dish chilli paneer which should be savoury tasted like a desert. Overall a very bad experience. Moreover this is not the first time the experience has been atrocious. few months ago because of the server in the restaurant I had to leave as we waited for more than 30 minutes as she attended others. Even the people who walked after us got served but we were still waiting for someone to attend us. Many times when we call the store either someone hang up on you or they put you on hold after being very rude to you. Me and my family we do come here a lot because of the variety in terms of Indian food. But, I think this restaurant needs to focus on a smaller menu and better quality of food. Please, work on your staff they are beyond rude. Every time we come here we spend more than $100 our bill is never less than that. Today for the first time when we were at the restaurant and we made a complaint about the food our server was treating us as if we were asking for free food and we were petulant kids throwing a tantrum.

Youll get good food most of the time. But some of your staff members need to work on their customer service and communication skills. One time, I walked in to get some sweets and the first question the front desk girl asked was, Whats your skip the dishes number? for real? No Hi or hello? No greeting? How can I help you? Gave me no chance to speak first? Just assumed I was a delivery driver. Lol. You don t even need to know customer service skills to greet someone that is just some basic common sense and manners. Not trynna to bash your business. But hire some sensible people for customer service OR Train the existing staff! Thanks.

Ive been ordering from here for a while now, the food is always beyond excellent. Haveli has plenty of vegan & vegetarian options and every single dish we have tried has been delicious! Every time we try something new and we have been really happy with them all. Dining at Haveli is an experience! What a fantastic experience for your taste buds. Last evening was our first time dining at Haveli and it doesnt disappoint. The menu options are not what you are used to seeing in local restaurants, so make sure you get adventurous. For example, the street food dish - Bhalla Chat was amazing. We also enjoyed the vegetable biryani, curry and naan selections. Customer service was attentive and helpful with the menu selections. Well be back there again for sure. Tell all your friends and family. The decor is very unassuming, but dont let that stop you.

I moved to Vernon a few years ago. Haveli is my go to place for the best butter chicken and korma. Havent found anything that comes close to the quality and taste of this food

This used to be a go to restaurant for us at least once a week. The food was good, but recently that has changed. The service is horrendous. They seat you in their empty restaurant where you are the only people, yet they still take upward of 30 minutes to give you menus or take your order. Along with that, expect an hour before you get your food. This review particularly comes up after our most recent meal there where the service was the worst weve experienced yet. The meal took forever to get, then when one dish did come, it was cold. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for the other dishes which were all supposed to come together. We also never got water, which my daughter had to go up and ask for when we were almost done our meal. When it came to the table it was hot. (Supposed to be cold) We used to recommend this restaurant to a lot of people, but even with an empty restaurant they dont pay you any mind. They are more interested in online orders and skip the dishes than they are with people in the restaurant and would rather chat in the back than do the basics like give cutlery or water to their patrons. With prices that are high, service should be a given. TL:DR Dont go, they dont care if you do or not.

This little unassuming place I ve come to a handful of times for lunch has been a great newer option for N. Indian food in Vernon. The lunch special is affordable and includes a lot (rice, naan, salad, and a generous helping of curry). My favourite dish so far here has been the shahi paneer. It s a nutty creamy gravy with homemade cottage cheese with yummy mild spices including cardamom and some raisins (I normally hate raisins but they are great in here). I have also ordered a vindaloo before and liked the tangy gravy. The lamb masala was nice with a chunky and slightly creamy gravy. Finally I also liked the chaat papri with the pomegranate grains sprinkled on top refreshing, served cold, with crunchy wafers (almost looks like deep fried pieces of samosa wrap?), potato, chick peas, tamarind and mint chutneys on top. I would say that the salad served with the lunch is a bit of a boring stock salad with some creamy sauce that seems a bit out of place in an Indian restaurant, but it s still nice to have a bit of contrast to cooked veggies with fresh crunchy salad. Don t let the quietness or the red carpet and non-decor deter you from giving this place a go.

I went to this place twice in a row just visiting the town. The food was good that s why I went again but horrible service. They will just give you the menus and are busy talking with each other, won t even look at you if you are ready to order, even if you try calling them they ll just ignore.

We order tandoori chicken platter along with chicken briyani. first we got tandoori chicken which haven t get fresh it was so dry it s took for more than 30 min, we tried first and we send that back to make fresh, after some time we got chicken briyani I was so hungry I start have my first spoon of chicken it was so salty I manage to have with faiths because I don t have patience to wait more for replace the order and wait so long. We ordered their non veg platter, Rogan Josh chicken and garlic naans. Everything was good overall, I had a great time.

Unfortunately a bad experience, I went in to have a samosa and pint. Right away my server told me that I must have a minimum of $5 order or 2 samosa? In my picture it shows the price of $1.50? I understand not coming for just a drink but to make stuff up right to my face. I then asked to sit down to have a samosa and was told I must order $5 worth of food. Where in the menu does it have this information? Absolutely terrible service. Not recommending!

Great vegan options. The spice level was on par with what I asked for. Flavours amazing and the portions are on par with everywhere else.

Delicious lunch specials are excellently priced, come with basmati rice, tasty salad and hot fresh naan plus your choice of various flavourful dishes with whatever spice level you like. Vegetarian samosas are some of the best Ive ever had. Takeout bag contained nicely wrapped cutlery, napkins and wonderful Tamarind chutney. Will be back as the menu looks amazing :)

honestly the WORST restaurant i ve ever been to.. the service was horrible. the gluten free roti we asked we never received, and then when we asked our server she said i don t know, of course how would you know if you don t write the order down and provide it to the kitchen. she took verbal orders and then comes back to the ask what the order was again. when we did receive the gluten free roti it was obviously frozen and it literally looked uncooked.. our server had so much attitude from the moment we sat down and was literally throwing plates on the table. she didn t even come to our table once after we received the food to ask if everything was okay to the point we didn t even get water refills

Me and my friends visiting there for dine-in and we ordered 4 plate Amritsari kulcha and the food was good, but there was a hair in one of the kulcha. we call them and said there is a hair and she said i will change it but she wasn t said sorry for that. Had a great experience with their service and some mouth watering food.

I visted this place with my family. I was here on vacation, went their to eat dinner this place was nlt following the covid protocol. I was waiting there for ten minutes to show my vacation proof at the main entrance but no one came to see us. After waiting a long time one femqle staff saw us and ignored . So , I decided to go to another restaurant. I dont want to five them one star either.

AMAZING!!! I asked for no cilantro and that s exactly what I got!!! Sooo delicious! It will be my go to for Indian cuisine and I will tell all my people about it!! And the spice level is on point!!

The food here is fantastic! Paneer makhani is amazing here
