Once there was hair in the dish which they dint accept .. Second instead of noodles ,they provided some other type of spaghetti which was so spicy and not delicious Food

Nice Indian food restaurant with great service.

Food was meh ( didn t expect Surrey level food here in Vernon anyways so was ok with that ). Our server was rude from the start and full of attitude. She brought us our dish and no cutlery or plates and when we asked for it she gave this exasperated look and sighed out loud . Same thing when we asked how long our drinks are going to take !! And another thing we noticed is she was serving attitude to us only and not to the other guests, not sure what provoked that response cos I am happy all smiles kind of person until someone disrespects me . Anyways I hope you do better Namaste Vernon .

We recently dined at Namaste Authentic Indian Cuisine and had an exceptional experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for what would be a memorable evening. We had a special dietary request for no onion/garlic food, and the restaurant graciously accommodated it without any hesitation. The food was flavorful, aromatic, and authentic truly capturing the essence of Indian cuisine despite the restrictions. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and we didn t feel like we were missing out on anything. A special shoutout to Sakshi, our server, who went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Sakshi also engaged our 3-year-old son with such warmth and patience, which made the experience even more delightful for us as parents. If youre looking for a place that combines incredible food with outstanding service, Namaste Authentic Indian Cuisine is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back!

Food was okay. Important to note when you order rice and/or naan those are not included in curries but they dont tell you that until youre paying. I got a takeout order and got lamb curry, rice and naan, and it came to $40 which is insanely expensive for one meal of Indian imo. The curry was only 3/4 full in the container, they charged $5.50 for just rice and peas (granted it was enough for 3 people easily, idk why considering the curry was so small). Im a big spice lover and got a 4/5 spice and it may as well have been a 1/5, not hot at all. The lamb curry was decent but for the price Im not sure Ill be back.

Hats of the owner lady and her husband, they were really very nice, they went out their way and specifically prepared no Onion no garlic food, which was awesome. Nice place, nice vibe Wide variety of food. Please do visit.

Highly recommended. Excellent service. We were a group of 9 people. Server was very welcoming. She treated us like royalty. Food was amazing. Three of us had the Namaste special(3 differently spiced and baked chicken on a hot plate) and the veggie appetizer. Fantastic homemade chai. Others had eggplant dish and mango chicken. I will return to Namaste when I am back in Vernon. I think it is a family owned restaurant.

Awesome service and food.

This is our third time eating at Namaste. Everything is always tasty, excellent quality and good sized portions. My husband ordered the butter chicken, which has a nice, rich flavour to it. I ordered the sizzler green chicken tikka, which comes on a screaming hot pan with veggies (zucchini, cabbage, onion and carrots) along with a nice mint sauce for dipping the chicken. The spice level choice is anywhere from 1 -5, although, some dishes are already spicy before the addition. We also had a side of naan and steamed rice. There are a variety of food choices on the menu, including vegetarian, Indo Chinese, share plates, sizzling plates, salads and soups. Highly recommend trying Namaste!!

We had 2 of our 3 dishes were uneditable because of the spice sauce dropped on the top of the dish and such an amount the made it so hot it wasnt enjoyable plus it wasnt cooked entirely in our eyes. We ordered medium heat and got excessive green spices dropped in the center of our container on top of the butter chicken. It seemed lazy to us that it was given like that. The garlic nann was very greasy and no garlic like we paid for as it costs us more. This place used to be our go-to, but its not consistent anymore.

I recently went to restaurant Namaste in vernon and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The food was unappetizing and poorly prepared. The chaat papari was dry and flavorless, the onion rings were tasteless and doesnt seems they are onion rings were horrible and the honey cauliflower we ordered was not even nicely chopped was in big chunks and lacked any real taste. Furthermore, the restaurant was not well-maintained,dirty. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant is worth a visit to anyone looking for good Indian food.

We tried the Namaste Vernon for the first time, and the food was okay. The service was simply fantastic! The only reason I am giving four stars is due to one of their snack dish. We ordered onion bhaji and tea. The tea was good. However, the onion bhaji is a different story. I wont recommend it to anyone. I had to do a quest to find onions in the dish. It was just fried flour. So stay away from that! The rest of their dishes are good.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We frequent a lot Indian restaurants, so can say this place is at the top of our list for quality and taste. Naan was excellent, sauces flavorful, and the meats tender and not overdone. If you want very spicy you have to tell them like Indian Hot! We will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Very flavorful and spicy, great blend of spices.

This is my usual go-to for N. Indian food now in Vernon. Yay for more Indian options in Vernon for the last few years! I m a little bored of butter chicken in general but this place makes my kids favourite one in Vernon. I have tried many different dishes here and the flavours are always stunning. As would be expected, dining in the food always tastes better than takeout, but my favourite dishes to order here are: Lamb Rogan Josh Fish masala (thicker chunkier curry) but if you want a saucier option the Fish curry is also good Chicken shahi korma Lamb masala Veggie options: Baingan Bharta (yummy eggplant curry) Paneer Tawa Masala (chunky flavourful sauce with homemade cheese) The only time I was disappointed with food here was when I ordered tandoori prawns because they were so overcooked they were dry and rubbery. This is not the usual for the food at this place. At this place I discovered a super yummy dessert called rasmalai it s like a softer paneer with sweetened condensed milk and (?tastes like rosewater) and pistachios. Yum!

Poor service, lady she doesn t know how to serve customers. Had to call all time to take orders. Order Starter and then main course. Get food first then gave us Starter after. What a jock. Also food wasn t good. Gave us thin gravy. Never suggested for food lovers.

Are you looking forward to eat chole Bhature? Vegetable pakora? Samosa? Dont go there not worth it. If you are looking to eat something its upto you because I haven t tried anything else. I asked them to me it spicy. This is how they made it spicy by . Chole should not look/taste like what they did. Samosa not cooked properly only one side was crispy other side oilyy and soggy. paneer fingers too much oil in them (taste was okay). Vegetable pakora not cooked properly to the temperature sooo much oil in it. Only eat here to get sick.

One great spot in Vernon for authentic quality fresh Indian food. The Palak Paneer and Kadai Paneer had the perfect balance of spices with good quantities in the takeaway. Excellent oven baked Naan and Tandoori roti. The restaurant owner was really warm and took very good care of our order.

Best Indian food I ve ever had. The family who owns the restaurant are very personable and they take the time to explain all the care and attention that goes into each meal.

Everything was excellent, a wonderful meal. Very comfortable dining area and a small bar. Clean and spacious. We were warmly greeted and seated almost immediately. Namaste has an extensive menu, including a bunch of vegetarian options. The staff is warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable about their offerings. Our waitperson was very attentive and friendly. The samosas are some of the best Ive ever had, hands down terrific. I shouldve taken photos; next time. All four in our party truly enjoyed our meals and will be going back for another great meal, soon. My mouth is watering thinking about their naan. Oh so good. Oh yeah, their prices are quite reasonable. Namaste is truly a great place to have a wonderful meal. Go, enjoy yourself. Youll walk out of there smiling. UPDATE 2023/09/08 The vegetable samosas are still perfect, the made to order chai tea is outstanding. They offer multiple kinds of rice and just about perfect garlic naan. My in-laws enjoy fish dishes; plenty to choose from. Im vegetarian and always find plenty of dishes to consider.

Its great if you dont want spicy food, their extra hot is milder than a medium salsa. Weve tried making three different dishes extra hot and theyre very underwhelming. I guess theyre tailored to the extra white locals, like everywhere else around here The flavours are excellent and everythings prepared extremely well, was just craving some really spicy food, but I guess Ill have to go back to the lower mainland lol

Hello everyone today i did order my dinner from namste indian cuisine in vernon. I ordered medium dal fry , rice , roti and garden salad ... the dal fry we order it was too salty and spicy ... we try to add rice in that to reduce the salt but it was too much then we tried with roti it was too much ... I am also a chef and I can train your chefs to how to make a good food in manners .... and I will not charge you anything.... its free its free its free... but try to be professional... thanks... and yes its definitely never and ever to suggest to anyone to.order from ...

The food was delicious and flavourful with saffron and spices. The menu verity gives you many options.

We ordered the Tandoori Delight, and two orders of Butter Chicken. The Tandoori chicken and Green chicken tikka (both part of Tandoori delight) were phenomenal. The last component of the meal, Saffron chicken tikka, had a VERY strong smell and taste of Chlorine (likely used unfiltered city water as part of marinade), which was quite off putting. The two butter chickens were great - flavourful and tasty, but despite being ordered mild (spice level 0), they were still a bit too spicy for my other half. Not a huge deal. The most impressive was the meat itself - juicy, soft, and MILES better than what we get in the place we normally order from. We will definitely order again, but will stick to Tandoori and Butter Chicken.

Went to namaste November 5th 2023 and ordered tandoori chicken. After eating almost all of one of the drumsticks I realized it was raw. I asked for mango chicken instead which I received and it was mediocre at best. When we received the bill I was charged full price for the tandoori chicken which was almost 2 dollars more than the mango chicken when I complained about this I was told well we didnt charge for the mango chicken and I then received 1.50 off my bill. Now today November 6th I have been sick all day. pretty certain I have gotten salmonella poisoning from this experience. Definitely will not be going back. If I could give a zero I would!

Namaste is an AMAZING restaurant and their food is incredible, weve ordered from them on skip the dishes numerous times and each time has been perfect. Their garlic naan bread, coconut rice, and butter chicken (to name a few) are SO good! Price point is reasonable and its always enough food for two days which is awesome Also, we have never had an order from them thats been wrong so their attention to order detail is also very much appreciated. 10/10 Indian restaurant, best in Vernon!

If your wanting to genuinely feel relaxed in a Zen atmosphere while eating some of the tastiest Indian Cuisine while being served by polite staff, then this is the place to go. Decided to try something new. And it was absolutely amazing! Not knowing sizes we shared the butter chicken but will reccomend ordering double to share. With chicken and chees Naan. Now I cant wait to come back and try the lamb!

Namaste provided our Vernon team a special Diwali meal, and our tekmar, a Watts company, group cannot stop raving about the food. Special thanks to the management team for pulling that off, and we highly recommend Namaste to anyone looking to do a company event meal, or just dropping in.

We had a large group of 25 booked in for dinner and the whole team was amazing. Food was fantastic as it always is and their service was on top of the game. Despite the huge group they got all the food out in great time. We submitted our food orders in advance and that helped the whole process go smoothly too. Can t thank the Namaste team enough for such a wonderful night! Dietary restrictions: We had nut allergies and dairy free diets to account for in our large group and the team sent us a list in advance of the appropriate meals for those folks to order. Went great!

Food is of good quality and service is good. The amount of chicken in our dishes was not to standard though. It wasn t so much a chicken tikka masala as it was a vegetarian TM with 6 bites of chicken included. Will try other restaurants in the region to find something with a little more flavour and meat. Those who like less meat in their meal and more mild flavours will probably love this place. Will return in a couple years to reassess.

It was a pleasure to sit down inside and enjoy the authentic Indian food The staff all work together , as a family , to serve up an excellent meal I don t think I ve EVER tasted a fresher samosa ! All the meals were prepared in a timely manner with a smile ! We have tried every Indian restaurant in Vernon and Namaste is at the top of our list . The Paneer dishes are cooked to perfection and my Palak Gosht dish was fabulous . The Butter chicken is always a go to for my wife when we go out for Indian and it was excellent here . Good service and good food

My fiance and I LOVE this place!! The food is incredible tasty, the portions are HUGE and price is beyond fair. This is the first time weve ever ordered twice from the same place in one week. New favorite, 100% worth it. Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options:)

Good food and service. The paneer was a little old (tastes like potato) but the Vegetable biryani was awesome ! Alu paratha and Peshawari naan was nice

Ordered here for the first time, wasn t sure what to expect, but I was blown away. I got cauliflower bites, butter chicken, and garlic naan. Fair price, for a flavourful, warm, neatly packaged dinner. Will definitely be back!

I visited Vernon 2 weeks before for official work with my frnds. We find this restaurant on google search we reached there we ordered food which was very delicious & tasty. We can say this is our absolute favorite restaurant in Vernon now. The food is always fantastic and no matter what we order were always delighted with our meal! Servers (Raunak & Navneet) are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Last but not the least we would appreciate the (Cook) too who cooked delicious food for us. Can t wait to return and wouldn t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in such restaurant in Vernon. Kuljinder Singh Gill

The quality and make of the food are average. The atmosphere is an average too, but it has a lingering smell of food. More ventilation would have helped.

This is my go to for Indian Cuisine in Vernon. Friendly staff and good ambience. I love their Bhindi Masala, honestly, I never had this delicious Bhindi masal in my entire life.
