Definitely not worth the money. Calamari was good. Feta feta dish had uncooked onions and broccoli. Tasteless. Food

Atmosphere was great, bread sticks went well with the pre dinner drinks.Haven t been for quite some time.Portions in general have been moderated. Lasagna and Ravioli dishes were well received. Steak sandwich was on a toasted pc of baguette. Steak was good but hard to eat as a steak sandwich. The Manzo Funghi recipe has changed drastically. It used to be a saucy creamy dish with your choice of noodle, topped with fresh Parmesan and ground pepper. This version was a fettuccine noodle in marinara sauce that was a a bit dry and had a stronger tomato based flavour to the sauce. Not near as savoury? I had looked forward to the original recipe. Desserts were on point.

extremely disappointed, service was below par took 45 minutes to get one drink, and when the food came was expecting a great Italian meal.... but sadly was bland with no flavor what so ever definitely not worth my $150

Really disappointed in this establishment. Took my time looking for the perfect place for my family and I to go out for my birthday dinner. The menu on line looked amazing. Nothing noted on their website that they had changed the menu. Little disappointed when we arrived but decided to give it a try. Was a Friday night at 545 pm. 3 of my guests ordered there steak sandwiches. While we were ordered we were told they didnt have any fries or any other choices of potatoes so they had to choose a pasta side. Again a little disappointed but those who ordered the steak sandwich chose a side. As we were sitting there waiting for our food the waitress came up to us and inform us that unfortunately the cheff had accidentally drop one of the steaks and they had no more steaks to replace it with so a member of our group had to quickly decide on something else. At this point we were already pretty disappointed in this whole experience. We decided that this wasnt the experience we wanted for the birthday dinner we had planned so asked to cancel the order and leave. The manager Jordan came over and asked us what was wrong. I politely informed him on everything I had just mentioned. He responded very rudely and said find i got your bill and have a good night. I assumed he cant that he would take care of the bill because if the bad experience which only had a couple drinks on it and 2 appetizers on it. As we were walking out the door he aggressively raised his voice at us and said you have to pay for what you had. I responded politely but you had said you had it. He rudely replied so what I have to eat your bill! Yes absolutely you should have! Its a wright off for you! Instead now youve forced me to tell the world my horrible experience I had at your establishment with my family and friends! On another note. For such a fancy establishment there bathroom was disgusting and had a really strong odor of mold and mildew. I will be reporting this to the heath authorities! Save your money. Go else were. It was dead there on a Friday night. Now I understand why! Sorry Jordan. I think with your personality you shouldnt be in hospitality!

Our noodles were clumped together and not cooked. The steak straps in our pasta seemed to have bone still in it. It was very disappointing. The best thing was the bread they gave you after you ordered. Would not recommend. Food

Had a father Daughter date tonight! We started off with a glass of red and apparently the best Shirley Temple ever according to my 12 year old. Baked garlic and brie was our appie, it was presented beautifully and tasted rich and delicious. For the main She had the spaghetti and meat balls, while I had the lasagna. Portions are massive and both tasted marvelous and Cooked to perfection.(cant wait for leftovers tomorrow) Desert was a shared Creme brule and was a decadent treat that left us wanting more although impossible due to the very full bellies of us both. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and excellent service! Thank you for the great night I.K.!

We had an amazing meal. The portions were of good size and very tasty. It was busy the night we were there and the service was still good.

I am not sure where to begin. Came with 6 other friends tonight and I am in shock not in a good way just to be clear. To start, the service was mediocre at best, server dropped off the bottle of wine without giving wine service and did the bare minimum. The real star of the show was the food. 1 of my friends is throwing up and another 2 can t get off the toilet. Pastas were foul, I think a frozen microwave meal would have tasted better. Steak was interesting and all veggies and mashed potatoes were cold and don t get me started on the peppercorn sauce I feed my cat better food. -18/10 stars if I could.

Casual to dressy style here if you feel like dressing up. Food is perfect for a place called Italian kitchen. The pasta is great as it should be.

Delicious Italian!

My grandmother, toddler and I ate here and loved it. Do yourself a favor and get the chicken parm - it s to die for!

I dont recommend the steak but overall it was a good dining experience. The prices are quite reasonable as well for budget conscious diners.

Second time eating here, thought the mussels would be a safe bet wrong. Tiny, dried-out, sorry little things, and much too salty. Possibly they need to source from a different supplier, very dissappointing.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was very neat. Food and wine was very good and the service was excellent, great restaurant for Vernon.

I got the Capesante e Gamberi Linguini and my wife got the Chicken Alfredo Rigatoni. Both dishes were full of flavour. The prawns were cooked perfectly, the scallops were delicious and the white sauce was to die for. The chicken rigatoni was so good as well. Had bruschetta to start and it too was full of flavour. The waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. Nice dim lights and a good selection of music. Had an absolutely great time.

Had a really nice spagetti with cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes and olives in a pesto sauce. The pasta was excellent quality and perfectly cooked. The chef also made substitutions to make the dish vegan. My partner had ravioli in a cream sauce that she really liked as well. The flavors were excellent all around and the service was friendly and quick. We didnt realize it was pasta Wednesday so the 20% off was a pleasant surprise.

Knew the food was good at the bread! MOST places around vernon screw that up had the surg and turf with the creme burle dessert. My mouth is still salvating and I will be returning and bringing people I know. Definitely take ur girl here for V~Day. Id book table now now!

I have never had such a terrible pasta meal in my life, my husband and I both left feeling terribly ill. With the quality of the pasta it s essentially robbery the price that they are charging for dishes. The Brie appetizer came out cold and the toast was completely stale. 10/10 would not recommend

We thought we would give them a try again after many years of not coming back after new owners. Do not give it a try! All our food was horrible, cold and not good at all. Poor waitress had to serve all the tables at the restaurant by herself! Skip it, many other good restaurants in Vernon.

If you like spectacular pastas, great service, and fantastic ambiance, you HAVE TO try the Italian Kitchen... theyre one of Vernons best restaurants!

Popped in for a dinner date for the first time since I was a teenager, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our meals were fantastic and the desert was so good. Definitely coming back again.

Pretty disappointed with the service. Was left drink less several times for over 15mins and not asked once about how the appetizer and entrees were even when it took 1.5 hours to revive our entrees, the restaurant wasn t too busy or given some kind of acknowledgement about the wait so I m assuming this is a regular occurrence. The food was good mussels are great the Capesante e Gamberi had a little too much rosemary for my pallet maybe a little too liberal. When asking about how long desert would be was shrugged off a given the bill.

Disappointed in the service at this restaurant. I came here with my boyfriend. - They were late on taking our orders, we had to ask someone to take our orders - They brought us the wrong salad, and didnt apologize when they brought us a new one - We waited over and hour to receive our food - They didnt fill up our waters

Everything was so delicious, saucy and flavorful. The service is just the best. It was my first time eating pork so the cook gave me a free peice of bacon! I hope everyone gets the experience of eating here.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, I made a reservation for our anniversary and was so let down. I was very excited when we walked in and I saw the exposed kitchen but that quickly ruined my night. The chefs were eating in the kitchen(with their hands) while making food and prepping plates. The one chef was wearing a baggy sweat suit, hair a mess and constantly wiping her nose on her sleeve. She also rotated from kitchen, to the bar to make herself a drink, to being a waitress, to sitting at the bar scrolling through her phone then back into the kitchen. It was all very unprofessional and seemed very unsanitary. Our food was very bland and not at all what I expected. The meatballs were cold on the inside. Overall I was very let down with the place. Maybe my expectations were too high. But I won t be back and definitely won t be recommending the Italian Kitchen to anyone.

The gnocchi I had ordered was burnt. Literally black on more than 1/3 of the dish. Service was a long wait unfortunately it is my second unsatisfying experience here. Last time I came here, the meatballs were almost cold and tasted of shellfish in the spaghetti and meatballs, very off putting. Unfortunately I will not be back. Overpriced for the quality control . I had good experiences here over the last few years. Disappointing.

We always loved going to the Lake Country location and are so happy with the Vernon location. We chose The Italian Kitchen to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The restaurant is cozy, the service great and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the complimentary warm breadsticks and the bruschetta was amazing. They were very helpful with meeting my husbands food intolerances and the gluten free pasta was delicious. You wont go wrong choosing the Creme Brule! Highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, usually go when its quiet so I never have to wait long. Wheel chair accessible so that I can bring my family as well. Could use better decor and lighting, but I go for the food so its not a big deal. I love the comfy chairs close to the front of the restaraunt and the open concept kitchen. Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is wheel chair accessible with low tables.

Pastas are always great here. Very flavourful meals with a variety of options. Italian soda is also pretty good. Desserts are FANTASTIC. Definitely worth the price. It is a little too dark inside for my liking but the atmosphere is nice otherwise. Service is usually great.

Everything was great. it was just a little pricey for what get.

We got into town and made a reservation. Once we got there we sat for 15 minutes without anything but water. When my wife went to ask for a server to at least start us with wine, the three people at the bar were having a conversation and turned their back on her. Finally after asking again one said we will find your server, ends up there was one with a trainee and they were chatting with a table for 15 minutes while there. I asked for a modification to the meal I ordered and the server, yes not problem. That did not happen in the meal I was served. The food, wine, and atmosphere was good, but the service was very inadequate. We were not impressed, and we are very easy to work with. If they had good service it would be a good place to go. It felt very unwelcoming.

The smokey Negroni was an unexpected delight, the food was delicious, the house-made limoncello was divine and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Well be back.

Our reservation was for 6:30 pm. We finally got our food at 8:15 pm. My food was lukewarm and I have never had Jambalaya or made Jambalaya that had no flavor. I have eaten in this establishment before (I am visiting from the states) and enjoyed my meals, but tonight am extremely disappointed. The only saving grace was our server. I wish I would have gotten her name, but she was absolutely terrific. I will not return.

This has been our favourite restaurant for years and years we were in Vernon Saturday so we re very excited to get a table and outside service beautiful since the road is closed to traffic now. Always great service but the menu and food sadly has declined hopefully we have new cooks because we loved this place

Overpriced

We stopped in again to sample the new chefs menu. My wife did really enjoy the gnocchi seemed fresh and tasty to her. My lasagna was disappointing. Instead of a fresh cooked order, it was reheated from a large previously made lasagna slab. Would have been much better fresh instead of the dried out portion i received. It was just ok , nothing special.

Great experience from start to finish. Complimentary bread and oils on Saturday, fresh made pasta, friendly staff especially Ava, and a reasonable price. Will definitely be back!

Such a disappointing experience tonight. My husband and I have a history with the Italian Kitchen dating back to the late 90 s when it was owned by some local mountain bikers. It s so very sad and disappointing to experience such a decline in quality! This was our restaurant of choice in Vernon for many years and we celebrated our engagement here. To say this is the end of an era and we most likely will not ever return is not expressed lightly. I ll now describe our experience this evening. It began with the crab cakes. Mushy and fishy tasting. I could not finish. No lump crab here, just mush. My lasagna was cold. I sent it back to be warmed. It was returned when everyone else in our dining party were nearly finished, so I had to eat separately. My husband s feta feta dish was so disappointing!! This is the dish that started our love affair with the Italian kitchen. My daughter thought my husband had ordered soup that s how watery the cream sauce was. And no pine nuts?? And the broccoli was yellow with a hint of green. And to top it off, it was extremely bland. My daughter s seafood pasta was not fresh but she did enjoy the sauce. My son stated his pasta with chicken was bland and the amount of chicken was perhaps 1/4 cup. The lasagna portions were huge. This was truly a case of quantity vs quality. The sauce was like a can of hunts tomato paste with very little meat in the sauce. I so rarely write reviews, but because this restaurant has been so special to us, it s so very disappointing! Definitely not worth the $300 we spent. So sad!!!

Great place for yummy food, excellent friendly service and a warm atmosphere

What a wonderful evening! My son and I shared the mussels which were crazy good! We thoroughly enjoyed both the jambalaya (with linguini noodles) and the ravioli. We shared a creme brulee - simply the best. The staff are warm and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They had great suggestions to help us in ordering.

Had a reservation we were celebrating our adult sons birthday. Went into the restaurant Place was almost empty they put us in a very dark back corner with poor lighting. Offered water or sparkling water ( charged for the sparkling water) Food was ok but not outstanding considering the price, and main dishes were not hot. Seafood dishes were shy on seafood. Service was passable. Had to reuse cutlery after appetizer. Felt disappointed after hearing it was such an amazing place.

This used to be one of our go-to places in Vernon before Covid19. New management and new cooks now. Had a family dinner there two days ago and it was really disappointing. Garlic bread came out looking like a corn dog and tasteless. Lasagna was reheated and so overdone it was burnt black and Rigatoni Salsiccia pasta was chunky and chewy. Sorry guys but we won t be back again.

The decor is Italian. The food is not great. All dishes lack flavour and instead are loaded with sugar to compensate. The kids had meat balls which were very dry. My dish was a very confused pimevera with broccoli. My husband had a seafood pasta. All the dishes tasted similar as sugar was the main ingredient in the sauce. The vanilla ice creme and home made toffee was the best part of the meal. Hopefully they can improve and add depth in flavour to the dishes.

Great atmosphere great Staff

We are visitors and a family member took us out last night. We were all (4) disappointed. My coconut curry was dry and bitter and I could not taste any coconut. I ate the olives and tomatoes. My wife s feta pasta was not appetizing. The other 2 had chicken Alfredo which was nothing special. We also waited ages for service to the point where we asked how much longer it would be. We skipped dessert and went home. No photos to show.

Classic Italian food!

Went for a private event and had vegetarian options (antipasto on a skewer, vegetarian flatbread, rigatoni in garlic cream sauce with big variety of deliciously prepared vegetables). Very tasty and flavorful and the vegetarian option didnt feel like an afterthought! Cant wait to go back! Really great staff too

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this restaurant. They never disappoint. Recently, I organized a diner for 14 friends. Everyone raved about the food and service. The manager, Mike, was accommodating and went out if his way to ensure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant. PS. Even their takeout is delicious!

The whipped feta appy was incredible. Risotto was so flavourful. Wonderful service from Ava, Michael the manager was a pleasure. The atmosphere knocks it out of the park.

Amazing Italian food

We got seated and no one came to take a drink/food order for 12 min. I went to bar to ask for waitress and after 5 min asked hostesd again for some servixe. It appeared not busy at 6:00 pm. Our mussels came in a dish not a pot with hardly any sauce and 3 tiny toasties. Our main, Jambalaya had 3 small prawns only and was cold. Thesausage and chicken was very dry. We had to leave our meal as we were late now for our event. We did mention to both the waitress and manager on duty about meal when asked but did not have time to reorder, whi h they did not even offer.. We gave ourselves almost 2 hours before our event to have a nice sharable dinner. It was not even offered to replace our meal or discount it. It was very loud in the restaurant i belive due to the aucustic design of the building. It had been some time since we had been and we looking forward to our downtown date night.

Went there for dinner this evening . The Good: -The decor and ambience was really nice. The Not so Good: -The food was just ok. I had the Rosato Pescatore Linguine, my wife had the surf and turf. She really enjoyed hers. Mine tasted like it came from a jar, and wasn t overly warm. It was ok, just didn t taste authentic. The Bad -Ordered a beer. 20 minutes after not getting it and watching the server converse with other patrons, I asked if she was coming with the drink. Her response was Oh ya, I totally forgot. Do you still want it? To which I just told her to forget about it. We d made up our minds to have drinks and dessert somewhere else given the delay. -My wife was told that risotto came with her meal. When she received her meal, she asked the server Wasn t I supposed to also get risotto? The Server s response was, Ya, it was weird. I thought you were supposed to get risotto but I didn t see any on your plate when I ran it out. Ok .? So you didn t think to ask so you could clarify with your customer? While it was a nice venue, given the ok food and not great service, I m in no hurry to go back. I m sure there s other restaurants t worth trying first.

Food was absolutely incredible. As someone who was born in Italy , this food reminds me of what my Nona used to cook for me when I was a little boy. The atmosphere is calming and feels mature, and really makes you feel like you re eating at a professional dining establishment. The service was amazing, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would high recommend coming here with friends and family !

The restaurant itself is just as lovely as it used to be. The servers were wonderful and very helpful. The food on the other hand not so great. If you re considering going here for your first time it might be good, but if you ve been previously before the owners (and menu) switched it isn t that great. I used to travel all the way from Alberta just for the mussels, but now they don t even have the original sauce it comes in or even the same presentation (just comes in a bowl now and not a pot sadly with less mussels). On a more positive note, we got one double mussel! Posted in picture I ve never gotten sick from the Italian kitchen but I suspect that the last time I went (three days ago) the mussels weren t prepared properly because my partner and I both had gastrointestinal issues (to say the least).

Ordered mussels to share...barely any in the pot and hardly any broth :( Ordered linguini but got thick barely cooked penne and had to seriously look for the chicken and mushrooms in it...0/10 on this one. Prices are high for the quality and quantity. We had a large group but it shouldnt make any difference to the quality of the food....hopefully just an off night...had big expectations but quite disappointed.

The food was amazing. Its a little on the pricey side but you definitely get what you pay for and then some.

Good: Great service. Friendly Staff. Gnocchi was really good. Mid: Drafty seating area, pricey menu for pasta Bad: Brie appy was only slightly warm and generally bland, Carbonara tasted heavily of burnt bacon (non was present though, which was weird). They forgot to bring the beverage I ordered with the main. No bread included with anything. Adding three meatballs cost $9! While Im sure the staff would have fixed these problems if we brought it up, I wasnt willing to offer up more of our time to resolve it. Over $100 for two mains and an appetizer, no drinks - For fairly basic pasta. Theres much better dining experiences at this price.

Food and service is awesome but a little pricey

We have dinner 6 or 7 December dont quiet remember. Well done stake was overfryed and super bitter. I also give couple pieces to my friends they confirmed that. And then I ask bring me another one. The other one was the same , so I cut all overfried supper bitter parts and eat middle its was okay. My wife rizotto rice was undercooked. Feel bad for the food.

I have been supporting the Italian kitchen since the early 2000 s. Last night my husband and I took our family there for dinner. The food was fine, and the servers were attentive. However, as a restaurant manager I know that it doesn t matter how good the food is, if the environment isn t great it will throw off even the best meal. The environment in the past at Italian Kitchen was quiet, felt elegant, and you could enjoy your conversation. Last night I noticed their environment felt busy, with loud music like every casual fine dining restaurant (earls, cactus, etc). It would be nice if they toned down the music and brought more of that elegance back. Vernon doesn t have a lot of choice as it is for a fine dining experience.

Great pasta and craft.

Phenomenal meals and decent prices. Staff are friendly, for dine in and take out. Been here multiple times and never had a meal that was less than fabulous. The atmosphere in-store is great; however, if you have less than perfect eye sight, it can be hard to read the menu as it is a little dark inside. Love it regardless though!

We had a wonderful experience tonight! 45 th wedding anniversary and felt like special guests.Decided to sit at the bar and stayed there instead of moving to a table. We were treated like celebrities not just guests. The staff... Melissa, Kimberly,Sarah and Laurel ensured we were well served,treated special and had everything a person could ever desire at a special dinner. Ordered take out from the Italian Kitchen. Upon picking up our order, I asked to ensure that cutlery was included. However, they did not have any cutlery and was advised of this after paying. When I explained that this was going to be a very unfortunate situation for us, the hostess just replied with a have a good night. So we drove around and stopped at multiple places hoping we could get a few pieces of plastic cutlery, with no luck. As we were getting very hungry and the food was starting to get cold, we bit the bullet and went to Save On. On top of the cost of the meal, we had to spend $13 and now have over 150 pieces of plastic cutlery for the one night we are spending in town. The pasta was better than what youd get from most restaurants, but still feel it was overpriced for what we got. Would likely be even better if we had a chance to have the meal hot.

I have never been a patron at IK for the 11 or more years I ve been in Vernon, on account of the menu being fairly basic. Laurel and Chef Remy are definitely making great changes for the better bringing the restaurant/food/service into contemporary times. Nice cocktails, and great food. Might become one of my new hangs

wth 2 tables in the restaurant they stuck us in the same corner. the server was efficient but had no personality. she wouldn t say a word as she came to the table, although polite, she could have made herself more known. food took over an hour and my husbands Alfredo was watery like soup. my moms ravioli was so salty she couldn t eat it. we asked if our meals came with garlic bread she said no then brought a basked of breadsticks. I thought that was sneaky not mentioning it to us as it was our first time. we had been to the lake county location and was excited to go back. however after this experience it may take a few more years. bill was discounted accordingly without us asking but it you re coming from Kelowna you re better off going to Mama Rosas

This was my 3rd time at this restaurant and as per previous occasions the food was fabulous. The only downside was the crab cakes were a bit too spicy for my daughter but that is not the fault of the restaurant, but rather, her personal preference. Rhe prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. High recommended for pasta lovers especially.

Disappointed by the declining quality at the Italian Kitchen. I m a Vernon resident who has been eating here since I was a kid and the food has always been exceptional. I went with my family a couple days ago for my birthday and was very disappointed. We ordered mussels in the white wine sauce and a full 1/4 of the mussels we received were dead. For my main I ordered the gorgonzola gnocchi and I was not impressed. Not only was there almost a complete lack of any gorgonzola in the sauce, but it was topped with giant chunks of Parmesan, effectively turning it into a completely different dish from what was described on the menu. I hate to say it, but after 20 years of coming back to the Italian Kitchen in Vernon I ll think twice before I go back.

No ac. Hotter inside then outside. Awesome tasting food. But you will be waiting around an hour for your entrée and there was no appetizers in between. The wait time to get your bill is another 40 minutes. I suggest getting takeout or not getting the waitress Kimberly.

The poorest service I ever had

Came into the Italian Kitchen with my family. Not only was the service amazing but I also found there was something for everyone. Amazing Gluten free and vegetarian options and to top it all off the cocktails are phenomenal. Definitely the perfect place for a date night or to bring a large group. Can t wait to come again.

Extremely unsatisfied with the change in recipes. My husband and I used to love Italian kitchen but they seem to keep changing the recipes and its now grosser than ever. Id rather eat kraft dinner than order from here and get this meal again.. had 6 empty shells in my seafood pasta... the sauce is NOT rose, its literally tomato sauce. Its supposed to be linguini noodles and theyre fat asian like noodles... not awesome. Garlic toast also keeps changing styles and this one was far to over cooked to enjoy. Not excited to spend over $100 on dinner tonight. Every meal was disgusting and this used to literally be the BEST food in vernon. Left my number with a staff member and expect a manager to call..

Actually ordered take out as we did not feel like people-ing but almost regretted it as when we went inside, the ambience was lovely. Next time, we will dine in....the food ordered was so yummy as well

Decent amount of food, tastes nice but a bit too salty for my taste, looks like an issue of all american-european restaurants in area. Plates are heated that is great as most of dishes is pasta. Very busy and definitely not for a quick dinner. Kids friendly. Waiters are nice and friendly. Looks like interior has old wooden floor and I think brick wall also could be a part of Vernon history.

Used to come all the time in the summer when working in Vernon. After 6 years we returned totally disappointed. Music was too load couldnt not visit with our friends. They charged us twice for our pail of mushrooms and my husband had to wait for his meal as they made a mistake in the kitchen. We will not be back.

I told myself I would never eat here again after being served frozen mussels but I thought let s give them a second chance this time mussels came instead of being soaked I. White wine they were soaked in vinegar the worst thing was is I didn t notice until a few bites in when my stomach started burning also ordered the tiramisu served us frozen creme brûlée this was supposed to be our anniversary just an FYI if your looking for fine dining or just a dining experience this is not the restaurant for you

Very nice ambiance and cesar salad was very good. The Rigatoni Salcissia al Limone was so sweet and the sausage was so poor to the point that I couldnt finish the dish. The Rosato Pescatore Linguine was very fishy. Was overall a very disappointing experience and felt like a waste of money.

Took my son here for his birthday dinner. The food is absolutely awesome. We had a wonderful waitress. I ate all that was on my plate, now that was shocking! Dont take my word for it; try it yourself .

Made reservations for a special birthday dinner a week before his birthday. The day before I was called to inform me there was an event that night. Sorry...no room for you and your guests...nice.. who does that?? Honestly...another venue gone to hell. Booked at Intermezzo no problem. Done.

Rib night Tuesday is amazing

Great atmosphere and decor. Tables are well spaced for covid. The food was delicious. The best crabcakes that Ive had in a long time ( waitress said that they r only making them on the weekends at this time). I had the carbonara linguine. This place is absolutely amazing! We ordered it for takeout for our family of 8. The lady with blonde hair (I think the manager) was so nice and made sure we had everything. Everything we ordered was there, nothing was missed and it was delicious. We decided to go out for dinner and chose the Italian kitchen. They gave us fresh bread to start served with balsamic and oil. The only negative thing I would say was the server acted like I was a little crazy for requesting butter with my bread (as I don t like balsamic vinegar) then I was told it was frozen and I couldn t have any, which is odd since they serve mashed potatoes and steak and I know that is common to have butter with. Anyways other than that we love it there and will continue to return. If you go you NEED to try the pescatore with cream sauce. I m a big fan of creamy pasta and it s probably the best one I ve ever had! Pernod prawns were also amazing and my boyfriend had the ribs and they were Delish! A must try

The Gorgonzola gnocchi were just the best!

Best pasta that I ve had in a while. I had the jambalaya penne, and creme brûlée for dessert. The jambalaya penne was so good and he had just a little bit of spice. The creme brûlée was the best creme brûlée I have ever had. The custard was so smooth and it just melted in your mouth and the caramelized sugar was very thick and full of flavour. I would 100% recommend this place.

Left us completely scrambling to find another place for a celebratory Graduation dinner for the 6 of us on a Friday night, short notice during limited seating due to Covid. Disappointed they wouldn t have disclosed that when I booked the reservation, or called to let me know. Wont go back again til winter - the food, atmosphere, and staff have always been great!!

Took 45 minutes from sitting down to when the first drink arrived. Tainted the entire experience. Food was good not great.

Pasta is fine. The $10 salad is worse than the 7-11 $5 salad. Waitress is friendly, but it takes 50 minutes to finish my take out order. Jeeeeez.

We sat there for almost hour and half and no food yet. Restaurant was half empty. A white family came in and they have been served in ten minutes. Waitresses were simply ignoring us. Four of them serving another white family, while we were waiting to get our drink. After HOUR AND HALF, we paid for our drink and got out without having food. Manager didn t even bother to give us apologize . Within last week, I have looked at what happened in many different angles. I tried to calm myself and then write this review. All I can say is: some levels of racism is going in this restaurant. But I would suggest more people of color visit this restaurant, until they understand the world has changed. There is no time to be racist.

Delicious food with very impressive service!! We decided to dine here on a whim, since the other Italian restaurant across the street was fully booked. To our delight, the Italian Kitchen surprised us both with an ambient setting, great food and very responsive staff. We were lucky to come on pasta night and managed to get $10 off each plate, while the staff were very quick to take out orders and bring drinks/water. Would happily go back again.

We were a table of 14 people, server was amazing her 3rd day, drinks were just a bit slow. Food was served hot and together, excellent flavor. Loved it, bonus Hallmark Christmas movie being shot outside. Thank you

Our server Teresa was super friendly and attentive, food came at a reasonable rate, and food was delicious! Got the ribs and really loved the BBQ sauce. The house salad was also great! Got a few different pastas and all the pastas were good. A bit on the pricier side, but the portions can be shared.

Ima be honest here. I will not go back. I was highly disappointed in the food and start of service. First, we get in, and seated. About 10mins goes until someone asks us about drinks. We decided to order an appy at same time. Drinks came eventually. Waited in appy. Server came around and apologized for the wait, it had been about 15/20mins, because the had a skip order come in, so we decided to put in the dinner order then, seeing as weve spent lots of time waiting. So, first of all. Dont ever tell paying customers in store that your priority is skip. If you want a tip, might wanna deal in store first. Another 10mins goes by, finally get our appy. Bruschetta. It was horrible. They decided even tho it was charred way too much, theyd just hide the blackened bread with toppings. Didnt mask the taste. Didnt eat it. The server however, when she came around, took it off our bill. Next was dinner. On the menu it says; Fresh potato dumplings, in a choice of marinara sauce with soft bocconcini or creamy gorgonzola sauce. I decided on the marinara with bocconcini(I love that stuff) when we got our food. I could visually see no bocconcini.. I started to eat it anyways. Holy wow. It was spicy. I couldnt eat it. Server came around, when she seen I had pushed my plate away, I told her it was too spicy I couldnt eat it. Explained I got fresh pepper but it shouldnt be like that. She said, oh, its probably because the add CHILI FLAKES!!! to their marinara sauce. Who the hell puts CHILI FLAKES in a marinara sauce???!!!!!?!?! She asked if I wanted it remade, I declined because I seen they had orders up still, and I didnt want to be waiting even more for food. In the end, she promod that off too, as well as a drink. So that was great. But the food was horrible. Ive had better food at the old spaghetti factory for cheaper and more food. Or even better quality and portioned food at LIsola Bella in Lake country. First time, and I wont go back.

Unfortunately, not a really great experience. We had been earlier in the year and had a so-so experience but thought we better give it one more chance as everyone has an off day now and again. We thought we would start with a litre of red house wine...they were sold out, at 5:00. We were not offered another red wine for the same price, so essentially if we wanted red wine, we had few options but to pay a much higher price. I wish that was all. The food was marginal at best , certainly not worth the price point. Before posting a review I felt I should at least email my concerns directly to them and give them a chance to respond, no reply whatsoever. We will certainly not be going back, sad to say, as this was always our go-to-place.

Food was ok, the server harpret or something seemed so high on herself and was mediocre service for how busy it was, seemed like she wanted to talk more.
