This is literally the best chicken Ive ever put in my mouth. Its so good I feel addicted to it I come to vernon at least monthly just for this chicken and force all my friends to try it. Highly recommend.

Love the staff and chicken. Made to oder so its always fresh and hot and ohh so yummy.

We tried chicko chicken today in Vernon for the first time and was very disappointed with the the way it was made. We cut it in half and could see that it was dark meat with a lot of yellowish type batter around it with very little meat.Kinda like when the Chinese restaurants used to have very little meat inside a chicken ball. Would not recommend this place.

Good value for your money.

Chicken was 90% fat, quite expensive for having to throw out so much. I ve enjoyed the Chicko Chicken in Kelowna but I ve been disappointed twice by Vernon.

The chicken is phenomenal. Takes 15 to 20 mins to make but its well worth the wait

Well worth the wait as the chicken is cooked to order. Recommend the cheese snow and buldak chicken. Two half orders is plenty for 2 people. We will be back. Went back a second time,tryed the Yangnyeom and Padak Padak chicken, once again both delicious. Try the pickled radish as a side.

It would be best if cashiers that take the orders listen carefully. The chicken flavour we got was wrong including the shake-shake fries.

Updated to add: have tried almost all the flavours now. Theyre all so fantastic. Well done, Chicko.. youre amazing. Oh mannn this was good chicken! I would ask for more sauce next time, but thats probably just me and my personal preference. We got the soy-garlic and it was very good. Chicken cooked perfectly, so juicy inside yet perfectly crispy on the outside. Service was excellent and so friendly. I cant wait to try more flavours. Definitely the best chicken in Vernon, if you ask me.

We were driving through and stopped by for some chicken. The man working the front was incredibly nice and very helpful. The chicken is fantastic! Definitely the best we ve had in Vernon!! The sauce was delicious and the shake fries were unique but definitely worth trying! Highly suggest to try it out. You won t be disappointed.

The staff was extremely helpful with picking out flavours best suited for our spice levels and were super nice! they even gave us some samples of sauces we didn t pick! (We liked those even more) will be returning to try more flavours. Best chicken in Vernon hands down!

First the chicken was very tender and delicious. Second they help you figure out what sauces work best for your palet and help make sure its the right heat level for spice as well! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Very welcoming and warm atmosphere.

My first time trying Chiko! I had the Cheese snow, Buldak, and Haek Buldak. Loved the Cheese Snow!! The others were delicious too, Im not a hot lover, but the flavourful was great and I could handle the Buldak Server was super friendly and the place was spotless! Will order ahead next time as they cook it fresh, which I didnt know

The best fried chicken Ive had in Vernon. The restaurant was very clean, the food was piping hot because it is made to order, and the men working there were so kind. It was also great value because the portion was quite large. My mum and I ordered the half and half, with the original flavor and the sweet spicy one (yangyom?), and loved them both. We will definitely be back! Note: definitely call ahead and order because the wait can be 20ish min (since they make it to order)

Chicken was amazing, the Soy Garlic and the Yangyeom flavours are sooo good. Cant wait to try all the other flavours. Friendly service as well!

Best chicken ever put in my mouth. The buldak is amazingly spicy and has an intense and succulent flavour that just makes you want more. Staff was super helpful and even allowed me to use his hotspot to un block my card. Super clean environment and the kitchen looked super well maintained. Amazing job. The garlic ginger was again 10/10. Crispy but not dried out. Los pollos hermanos has some competition.

My son and I tried the chicken today, 2 different kinds. Both were absolutely delicious. What really got us tho, was the very nice fella behind the counter. My son isnt very easily impressed by people, but the first thing he said when we walked out, was how friendly the guy was.. Also very clean and bright. Cant wait to try more flavors!!!! I would say Must try Yangyeom Chicken if you like sweet and spicy, and i tried original chicken, that was good and fresh too

Very freshh & good food

The chicken and sauces are very tasty. The chicken is deep fried but not greasey, which is perfect. The chicken is cooked to order, so there is a wait, but its worth it. Their fries are crispy perfection.

For a first time order we ordered a half.order of yeomyeam I think is how it is spelled , anyway was so good we called and ordered another half order , we could t stay out.of it.....we will.deff be ordering it again

I have had Chickos at other locations and this new one is just as good as the others. The chicken and breading is so tender and the sauces are amazing. 10/10 will go again

As Koreans, we were disappointed. The standard should be bone-in! Or they should confirm that it s boneless IMO. The meat to batter ratio wasn t too great either perhaps better bone-in Also radish isn t included! Again, the standards were different.

After getting tired of overpriced food (for example calculated current cost to be $3 per piece of chicken now in a bucket of kfc chicken) was excited to find a new option in Vernon to try and get a good box or bucket of fried chicken. This place was clean and comfortable enough to sit and dine in. Also the staff went out of their way and tried very hard to provide service, from answering all of our questions, to bringing out 4 free sample pieces of chicken for us to try, and then finally giving us a free dipping sauce with our order. They clearly want their business to become established and put effort into every aspect of customer service for us. And finally, the fried chicken did not disappoint in the slightest. It does seem to be a cheaper option than the other fast food fried chicken joints in town. However, it makes it even better because the quality was even better. They told us explicitly that the chicken could take up to 20 minutes to be ready because they make it fresh everytime. However, the waiting period seemed to go by fast, and it was well worth it. The chicken was hot, and moist, and crispy on the outside. The oiliness was just the way a good, well made piece of fried chicken should be, not unpleasantly greasy. This is probably why they make the chicken fresh for every order- simply to attain this level of quality. Both the plain fried chicken, as well as the herb and garlic flavor that we got, were delicious. French fries were very well done too! This fantastic new fried chicken joint is comfortable to stop by and eat in, and I feel that its also a fantastic new choice for ordering take out, and bringing home a very tasty box of fried chicken with some sides. Fantastic.

Had take out, came here to say it was great. better than the other local fried chicken places and the Korean flavours are great!

This was my 164th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. If you ever want to know the answer to the trivia question Who was the very first customer at the Chicko Chicken Vernon branch? The answer. . .is me! I only eat meat once per month, so my default option was the Shake Shake Fries. I paid $4.72 after tax and a 15 percent tip. The tip was unnecessary, but I felt obliged since I was their first customer. I was given fries in a tall paper bag and a Chipotle powder in a container. I was instructed to pour the powder into the bag, and then shake the bag like a Polaroid picture. The Fries were crispy and the powder was a tasty flavour. You also get the satisfaction of burning a calorie or two from shaking the bag. Unless you are Elaine from Seinfeld or elderly, shaking the bag shouldnt be much of an issue. My only complaint is I wish I was given napkins. I could have asked for napkins once the powder was on my fingers, but I was lazy and also content with being full on Neanderthal and was fine letting the powder settle on my soft fingers. It feels good being the first customer. I am the Chicko Chicken O G. The C C O G. I can never be duplicated nor replicated. I am the CCOG. In all seriousness, I highly recommend this spot. Staff was friendly. Fries were crunchy. I will try to come here on my meat day and see if the Korean Fried Chicken compares to when I was in Seoul last year. Vegetarian options: Shake Shake Fries

Delicious fried chicken and good customer service.

I have been a costumer of chicko chicken In kelowna and vancouver area for the past year. Was excited to see one opening in Vernon. However, I have never had chicken from a chicko chicken like this. It was more fat and skin than actual chicken pieces. Extremely chewy and barely any sauce. Will continue to drive to kelowna to get chicko chicken. Disappointed...

Chicken was chewy due to fat and skin left on, not enough sauce. Ive been to the one in vancouver & Kelowna it taste a lot better. I definitely wont be coming back to this. I highly disappointed. I really looking forward to location opening up here.

My goodness, their fried chicken is so crispy, juicy, and extremely flavourful in every bite. I loved the Buldak chicken. The coating had a great crunch and it was not at all oilly. I would still come crawling back begging for this chicken. Highly recommend!!
