We bought to go food to have it in the beach. We ordered Indian food and The food taste was awesome. The quantity also was good enough.
Gavrilo was a wonderful host, very personable. We had the butter chicken, spaghetti and meatballs, and pork Shitzell, all of which were excellent.
Honestly the best service I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. Can't remeber the fellows name but our waiter was a young Serbian guy and he was absolutely 10/10. Food was also fantastic and great. Came with kids and they had food out to them right away as well. Overall very great experience.
I went there with my friend for lunch on a Sunday and it's a great thing they were serving breakfast until 12.30 pm. We had pancakes ,bc skillet..burgers and butter chicken as well. Nothing to complain. Everything was just perfect and amazing. Pancakes are so huge and delicious.its a must try.would definitely come back again. Great work.
I went here fairly recently and had dinner with my boyfriend. we had the chicken Schnitzel which comes with mash potatoes vegetables and rice. The service was outstanding and I highly recommend their Calamari it was a very pleasant experience and I am excited to try another item on their menu soon!

Definitely needs some upgrading on the menu. 1 processed cheese slice, thin sliced tomato, the sandwich was supposed to be toasted but it was hot filling in a soggy bread outside. The fries were those skinny fries and a lot of 1 cm long pieces. No gravy for the fries!! I didn't try the indian food which apparently is good. They also close breakfast at 11am but they should be until at least 2pm. Not going back. The servers were super nice and seemed so proud of the food so I did not complain. It was clear thats the way they do it. So it's off my list for sure. My friend with me was not impressed either. Oh and the coffee cups are just over the size of an expresso cup.... they do refill but not the experience I like for a diner. I'll go back to my regular hot spot! Just adding they served us what they said was ketchup but it was tamarind sauce and then when they brought out the ketchup it was in a mustard container....
Stopped in for lunch a couple days ago. The waitress seated us, very friendly and accommodating. The owner/chef came out to meet us and answer some questions we had about the menu. He went over and above and made us a four recommended dishes. They were all excellent and just the right amount of spice. The butter chicken and curry chicken were our absolute favourites. The lamb and paneer were also amazing though. They also have burgers and western style food, so a good variety on the menu. Nice central location across from the Village Green Mall and very clean. We’ll be back.

Server-0 straight up rude. Food- half items not available, ordered shahi paneer meal and got bacon on caesar salad. Superstore quality Naan bread. Atmosphere- dull

We stopped by for lunch today, and I absolutely adored their samosa chaat. However, I had high hopes for their butter chicken, but found it to be overly sweet and lacking the desired level of spiciness.

Very good and welcoming staff and food is amazing me and four friends try Indian and western food so fresh and very tasty. Will recommend to everyone please try their service and food . They just reopened in January 2024
I went there a couple of times now since their re opening. Breakfast was delicious and the pancakes are just huge and awesome..must try. Their Indian dishes and the sandwiches are also worth trying .. Great work . Food : 5/5 |
I went there with my friends recently and had truffle pasta ,grilled chicken burger and key lime pie were all great. staff was good and friendly. will surely come back again

Every thime I go to try the food they are closed, probably because of lack of business if you stayed open for your posted hours youd probably get more business...... finally got yo try the food and all I can say is if I ever go back its because the servers are friendly
Absolutely delicious, and lovely people, very family friendly! They made us very so very welcome with our toddler. I had the Shahi Paneer, and Absolutely loved every bite, were looking forward to coming back! Kid-friendliness: They made our toddler feel very welcome, they made her feel special.
They are back open again after a hiatus. I popped in with my family and had a great time! The food was excellent (we tried the pork schnitzel, shahi paneer, and butter chicken) and would absolutely order them again. Prices were very good, and the menu had quite a few options, many of which I havent seen around Vernon before. We are looking forward to coming back again. I will be recommending The 27th Street Grille to everyone. They just reopened with a new incredible Chef and serve Authentic Eat Indian food as well as Western eats. I had Lamb Curry, it was very tender, delicious and came with Naan, Rice and salad for $18. The portions were very generous and I had to take half my meal home with me. The service was great, very friendly and attentive staff(Carey was very wonderful). Suni the chef came out and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. They made us feel like family. 27th Street Grille was my 156th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every in Vernon. I paid $20.14 after a 15 percent tip and tax for a veggie burger, fries, and a can of root beer. They will be installing a soda fountain next week and will be expanding to dinner hours. The burger and fries has a menu price of $14. Yes, the burger is quite small, but it is decent value. Plus the fries have the perfect crispness to it. I think comparatively to larger burgers elsewhere, this is on par ratio wise. The server was quick and friendly. I recommend giving this place a try. Note: I wish they gave out some mayo with the fries too or a larger cup of ketchup. I would rather not wave a waitress down to ask for more. Vegetarian options: Veggie burger, quesadilla, hashbrowns

By far, the best lasagna anywhere...this is a multi layered true lasagna with a solid meat centre, several different cheeses, ham, spinach with the most delectable top layer (reminiscent of a moussaka); not the cheapy mozzarella dripping bundle of noodles swimming in industrial tomato sauce. Very nice staff, but could be tweaked with coming around with coffee top-ups. Ive been here several times now when in town visiting relatives and really appreciate the excellent food and quiet atmosphere.

I love the burgers at this place. Handmade patties, with nice fillings...$10 for the burger and a side. Also, this restaurant has very pleasant servers. Their specials are great value too, so keep an eye out for them on their signs outside. They also have all day breakfasts on the menu.
We had a very big group out for breakfast. The service was very efficient and friendly. The food came out fast, hot & delicious!

If you ve got time to kill waiting for terrible food, this is the place for you! Holy moly I do not think I ve had a worse dining experience. Simple breakfast took half an hour to arrive, hash browns were not remotely cooked, bacon was cold, but also burnt (quite a combo), and the fruit salad was almost a slurpy it was so mushy and old. None of us finished our food. The wait staff is very friendly, but not around much. To her credit our waitress did take some $$ off the bill but it was still quite expensive. Don t go here. I went so you don t have to.
Easter Buffet was very good. The only thing we could have added is pancakes or waffles.

Stayed at hotel. Went to eat here, and all waitress look at you while u stand and wait for some time to be seated. 2 tables available! No body has time to even tell you anything or say hi. Give a a second of time to actrual make someone want to come here! Walked out!

I was there with my mom, and son yesterday. The restaurant was not full, and there were three servers. After waiting to be seated for about 15mins, a lady (from the hotel front desk) came and seated us. After another 15mins, we still hadnt even been acknowledged. We left. Im super disappointed in the lack of hospitality. Whoever trained these servers needs to give them a refresher course on customer service. I get that they have other people to attend to, but a simple Ill be right with you wouldve sufficed.
This place is a typical hotel restaurant. Has a wide selection of items on the menu which makes me wonder how they can do anything good. While the food was not bad, it was also not that great. The service was ok. The restaurant is suppose to be open until 8pm but the servers start rushing you at 7pm. You can tell they want to be out exactly at 8pm.

We went here for dinner here a few nights ago. The service was horrible. Our waitress seemed like she could of cared less about our ordering. The coffee tasted like it was burnt, fries were way overdone, Caesar salad was limp and soggy. Before our meal even came the waitress had stormed out of the place. Bad time was had by all.

Had breakfast here and had a upset stomach for a couple hours. Not sure if it was the burnt coffee, it didnt taste like coffee at all. The omletted wasnt really an omlette, more scrambled eggs, ingredients didnt taste fully cooked, and hashbrowns really dry and tasteless as if they have been frozen for 6 months. I wouldnt have breakfast here again. Not sure how lunch and dinner is. The server was friendly and quick!!

Food has gone down hill. Use yo have a steak sandwich at least once a week but last time we were there they were overcooked and full of gristle. Didnt send them back as we were with others and it took us 45 minutes to get the original order,so who knows how long it would take to get the second one!

The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately on the day of our visit the waitress was run off her feet and got our order slightly incorrect. We enjoyed the food and the prices arent bad.
I had the Seniors pork cutlet. Food was delicious, carrots not cooked too much. I liked the size of the meal and reasonable price. The service was excellent.

Had the chicken, ribs and split pea soup. The soup and bun were quite good. The chicken was moist and the ribs tasty but kinda tough. The vegetables where pretty bland though.
I have ate here many times and have had pretty good meals most of the time. Good size portions and the staff is very friendly and the cooks are also very nice. The prices are also very reasonable. BRING BACK THE ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST BUFFET. The buffet was AWESOME
