Excellent breakfast! Mushroom toast & eggs Benedict were fabulous! It was our first visit. It was not clear if it was a sit-down restaurant and / or one you order at the counter. The only sign was hidden in front of the people standing at the counter. A grumpy girl told us we needed to wait & go to the counter to order & be told where to sit when we wandered over to a table - good morning to you, too! The menu on the wall was dark and harder to see. We didnt see the tucked away laminated menus until after we ate. Other than that, the rest of the staff was lovely & friendly! Highly recommend the food & coffee! By the way, we have selected a NEW to us breakfast restaurant every Saturday, for the past few years, always trying to go somewhere new.

I have mixed feelings about this review. The lemonades are not your socks off good. But, the food is not terribly friendly to anyone with dietary restrictions... we ended up getting the falafel burger and mushroom toast... both of which were quite lackluster.

It was to be a family birthday catering event, stated in the email, and we got boxed take out. The web site says they do catering but no instructions as to how to go about ordering it. There are steps, so be advised and speak to an owner weeks in advance not a manager, bad communication. Sadly the big event was disappointing. It was all put back on me as being my fault. Not good business. Eating in... delicious

Breakfast was excellent

I recently visited Eatology and loved it. The jam-filled French Toast with homemade jam was exceptional. The Benny was great too. The iced caramel macchiato was the perfect, refreshing drink. Highly recommend!

Eatology was incredible! The food exceeded our expectations, especially the waffles some of the best I ve ever had. My husband, who doesn t usually enjoy breakfast foods, loved the corned beef hash. As a bonus, the gas was celiac-safe, which made our experience even better. Highly recommend!

I want you to know I am at a 5-star hotel in Edinburgh, the only man in the private lounge (accidental, not rich) and having ordered their eggs benedict, am just astounded by how much better the bennie I had from you folks LAST MARCH was compared to this. I still remember it! Anyway I have to finish this as checkout is soon. Yeah I stopped mid-meal of this mid meal to think about a better meal 8000 km away from 18 months ago was.

Chicken burger was subpar. Beef burger was thin, crunchy, and dry. The tomato wasn t ripe. The bun and the burger as a whole were dry. If you are looking for a tasty juicy burger, go somewhere else.

What a sweet gem of a spot, oooof the beef burger was incredible, fresh, so many good flavours. Lavender lemon iced tea, not too sweet and so refreshing. Service was sweet and fast, and the baked goods must try. The owner is a pastry chef so you know it s good. We had the brownie with peanut butter and are still thinking about it.

The restaurant is amazing. We went with the family and enjoy a superb meal. Kids had a waffle, my wife soup and me a burger. Everything was very delicious. And the best part is they have gluten free options. Usually I end up without a meal due to gluten intolerance. What is also a big plus for families with small children is the possibility to use a high chair for small toddlers. That way me and my wife were able to eat peacefully with our 1 year old son. Kid-friendliness: Great menu options for kids. We choose waffles, but you also have kid meals.

Chicken and waffles here are so good. $20ish bucks for that and coffee (which is fantastic) and you wont need lunch let me tell you. Stuff sticks to your ribs in the best way possible. Next time Im in Vernon, Im coming here.

The food was so good I had to come here twice on our week trip to Vernon. Ill make a point of stopping here if I drive through again. Also one of the best cappuccinos I have had. Kid-friendliness: Quiet town of Vernon is a great place for kids and family. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access to higher portions of the dining room.

We were there at 1:30pm, bit of a queue but served in a couple of minutes. Staff saw our wheelchair and immediately checked on availability. Its order at the counter and staff allocate which is great - no queue jumpers on tables!! Food which arrived pretty quickly was delicious and good size helpings. Will be back !!!

This is THEE place to eat in Vernon. I was mad that my friends didnt tell me sooner! I work seasonally in the area and look forward to spending my mornings off here. Breakfast specials always on point, great coffee and atmosphere. Definitely spring for the dirty fries, you wont regret it. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Show up early as this place is usually packed - but has lots of seating. Family friendly too.

I heard great things about this restaurant and always wanted to try it. Well it did not disappoint! Upon entering we had the best most friendly service. I had their special the Pavlova waffle which was so delicious and unlike anything I have ever tried or even seen before. I did not want to stop eating it but was stuffed from the large portion. Absolutely loved their soup of the day, and hash browns! Will definitely be going back. All of the staff I had the chance to interact with were so lovely! And the artwork around was stunning. Only giving one less star just because the style of her service isnt my favourite with ordering in line before I sit down is all, just a personal preference is all.

This is by far the best place to eat in Vernon. May be bias as breakfast is my favourite but I just love this place. Has a perfect menu with constant new things to try. Staff is great. Service is fast. And the food is just amazing. I dont get to come here often because of my work schedule but when I do come here I am always highly satisfied.

We got Stuffed French toast and chicken and waffles. The SFT was hearty and delicious! The chicken and waffles were pretty good, a large piece of chicken but thighs might have been a better option. The honey mustard sauce was unreal!

This was my first time at Eatology in about ten years. The first time I was here I didnt like the Dirty Fries. Given that Okanagan Eatery was closed unexpectedly early yesterday, I thought I would give Eatology a second chance. Because the bus station shut down years ago, Eatology has been able to expand. It was very busy in here at 2pm. Luckily one table was open. I ordered a veggie burger and fries which came to $17.85 after tax. The staff was super friendly. Venue is clean, menus are on the wall by the front door, water stations are set up, and they even brought out the food to me. The French Fries were nice and crispy. However, the veggie burger didnt have much taste to it. I think the spinach leaves or the black beans messes up the taste. The combination of ingredients just doesnt go together well. Maybe swap out the spinach leaves for jalapeños, and replace the chunky pickle slice with long and narrow ones. Just something to give the veggie burger that extra kick. It is still five times better than a burger at Rickys, but after eating veggie burgers in nearly 63 countries and a bunch of places around Vernon, the zestyness was definitely missing from it. Its just missing that one key ingredient.

Oh wow, this was such an amazing find. Best place in town for an incredible breakfast. I have genuinely never had such an amazing Chicken and Waffles meal - despite being a take out, still served perfectly warm and crunchy with a side of maple syrup. They dont do delivery, but the take out service is very seamless and the staff is such an incredible vibe. Parking can be a little tough as its located on a busy street, but theres still some options next to the playground located behind it. Vegetarian options: For those looking for vegetarian options, they seem to serve some interesting alternative options such as Buddha Bowls and Avocado on Toast which is always a great way to start off the day!

Its right downtown so parking is limited and costs money, but this place is definitely worth the couple pennies you pay for parking. Food is absolutely delicious with good portion sizes. I went back to purchase some of the tahini sauce. A group of 5 of us went on a Thursday afternoon at 1pm, it was quite busy but we all got our food within 10 minutes of sitting down, we were super impressed. Service is good, everyone was super friendly and also super nice over the phone. The atmosphere is nice, it can be a bit loud and busy but thats whats to be expected where there is great food.

We were in lake country for around a week and came to Eatology four times because it is that good. Huge menu and incredibly tasty. We did not have one thing that we didnt enjoy. Highly recommend -- just check the hours & opening dates before you go to avoid disappointment!

Decent food but I was expecting more. The water glass rims were pretty grungy. Personally, I dislike lining up to order at the counter and then waiting for a table with no server checking in unless its a cafe. Food : 3/5

Excellent food. Never fail to deliver. They have one till going. The best thing was when they had the menus at the door for the people in the line up to look at and choose before coming to the till. This makes it a lot faster to put your order in. Some dont look at the board and wait until you get to the till which takes longer for them to process the orders and get people moving. The line went decently forward for an early Saturday morning.

I was recently in town visiting my spouses family. We decided to have brunch at Eatology and ended up going back a second time in the same week for breakfast. The lineup was out the door on Sunday but for good reason, and even then we ordered and were seated in about 15 minutes. The food is phenomenal, the staff is very friendly and efficient. The eggs Benny is my go-to and it literally keeps me full until dinner lol. This will definitely be our breakfast spot whenever we visit Vernon again!

Yep, I dont get why this place is so popular. Food is just OK. If you like a trash/industrial dining experience then this is your wheel house. Lots of better options in Vernon, Wendys, Dairy Queen, A&W where food quality is better. Doesnt do it for me. Good luck

An amazing gem in downtown Vernon. Extremely friendly staff, charming decor, always tidy and clean. And amazing food. I have tried several other items most notably their Benedict selection. Probably one of the best Benedict I have ever had. The salmon Benedict is exceptional as well as the ham. Their daily custom breakfast bowls are also amazing. I highly recommend this location if you go once you will definitely go again.

Let me start with the good. The food. We visited for a weekend brunch and, while we had to wait in line to order, the food appeared quite quickly and was an excellent example of diner food. Would recommend! Now, the bad. These are the types of places that I feel cheated by when they ask up front for a large tip during payment. With tables it appeared that we would be given at least some restaurant style service at our table so I tipped accordingly. I was wrong and now I feel cheated. Neither of our drinks arrived at all until we asked when the food arrived. No one came by offering any refill, quality check, etc. this would all be pretty understandable if there was no tip expected and given. This. Places like this are hurting themselves with the insane tipping culture by creating expectations where there shouldn t be. For this reason will hesitate to return.

Such a fantastic surprise. Looking for brunch in Vernon and googled to see what was open. Eatology came up so we had to try it. The Eggs Benny special was absolutely fantastic. The space is great and they ve thought of everything to make the experience seamless. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. A MUST in Vernon!!!

The best breakfast out Ive had in ages!! I had the Avo toast (sourdough) with poached eggs and it was amazing! They do something magical with whipped feta on it, which is delightful! My friend had an order of bacon pancakes that Im told were also fabulous. Great coffee and friendly staff too! I was hungry and the food looked so good, I didnt snap any photos... sorry, but believe me, it was wonderful! Dietary restrictions: The food is really bespoke and healthy looking. I expect that they could accommodate most dietary concerns.

Decent food , prices are ok...just dont see or taste the rave...just sayin. 3 of us for lunch, I received my soup fairly quick, my grandson ordered kid hamburger and was brought chicken fingers, after returning his wrong order they returned with a semi cooked burger, my wife ordered a latte and didnt get it until after the burger came.

!!!! The food is amazing !!!! We ordered a team lunch in the office. The staff were great to work with and HOLY COW THE FOOD IS SO GOOD
