Hot Spot on 6 in Vernon

Was such a great time and a server was hilarious such a personality. The chef even came out and asked us how are meal was. I had the rack of lamb it was cooked to perfection.

A couple days ago I ordered some appetizers for lunch, it was first time. Even tho I took it to go, they were so nice and casually awesome. Everything is home made, and their hummus was to soo good I ordered it twice this week. I m a plant mom myself and had to admire there atmosphere as they have the biggest real plants making it a breath of fresh air walking it and out.

My mom took our youngest and I out for breakfast on Saturday there. The eggs benny was excellent, but so was our server who made us laugh. His humour and comments were superb. Well be back on our next visit to my parents in Vernon.

This is by far one of the best places in Vernon to go eat. The flavours are fresh, new and familiar. Everything I ve tried on the menu has me wanting more. The owners are helpful, they offer great suggestions to new menu items. Every time I go here, I leave with a smile on my face and a full belly. I cannot recommended this place enough. Truly a hidden gem serving delicious food. The fusion items make sense and the flavours are indescribably delectible. The people who run this place are some of the most kind folks. Always super welcoming. Go eat here and try everything on the menu. They are all things that you can t find anywhere else in the Okanagan.

I visit here often with my wife. They have lots of options on the menu and we are happy with everything we have tried so far. Shawarma and egg benny are my favourites. Kent is such an amazing person. Full of energy and great service every time.

First time here. A busy little spot which is always a good sign. Had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was good but had an odd flavour. Not sure fit was some type of spice or not and it was a bit greasy. Not sure I would order again fries and onion rings were really good. Staff great, service great. Would visit again and try something else.

Best Chicken shawarma platter

This unassuming restaurant was surprisingly a very good spot to eat! We came for lunch and it wasn t too busy. Our server, Kent, deserved a shoutout for the truly above and beyond service (our water didn t stay empty for more than a minute before he came by with refills!). I ordered the calamari meal and it was the perfect portion. The calamari was perfectly breaded and crispy, tzatziki was refreshing, and the lemon wedges, rice and Greek salad were tasty! We were told that they make their sauces in house which is a plus! My partner ordered the donair lunch. The garlic (?) sauce in the donair was really really good. The fries were crisp, similar to mcd s style! Overall 5/5 and would definitely come back if we are ever in the area.

Went for breakfast, had the veggie bowl which came with a load of fresh veggies, hashbrowns, 2 egg (recommend poached) and hollandaise sauce. Great value for $16. Atmosphere is nice - nothing amazing but better much better than a typical diner, service was excellent. Highly recommend.

This place was super tasty! We were going to go to our usual breakfast spot but it was closed and decided to give this place a shot and it did not disappoint! The food came out perfectly! They were very accommodating and we were able to add things to our food as well. 10 out of 10 will come here again!

Me and some friends enjoyed a amazing dinner at Hot spot on 6! The waiter Kent is the reason we will be back!!!! HE was very friendly and funny, he was quick and attentive. Hebgave us the best service I have had in years !!!! He knows the menu and gave some amazing suggestions when we werent sure what we wanted ! The food when it arrived had a great presentation, it tasted fresh and delicious and we ate every bite, it was nice to go for a good dinner that didnt taste like every other restaurant in town.... I have been enjoying breakfast at the Hot Spot for years and often take guests. We all love it! I was thrilled to learn they were making take out Christmas dinner. What a feast! Went for breakfast for the first time and was fantastic. The veg benny was the best Id ever had. A different variety than most. The crispy hash browns were delicious and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. They even had colouring pages for the kids while we waited for the food. We cant wait to go back again!

We came in not knowing what to expect... Saturday morning after 9 am and it was not busy which is a surprise, because everything was fantastic! Wait staff was attentive and friendly, tables are spaced out nicely, quiet music and fountains added atmosphere. Food was wonderful. I had classic eggs Benny, the sauce was well seasoned and smooth, the eggs were perfectly poached and of high quality, and the fried potatoes were exceptional... perfectly crunchy and dipped well in the sauce! My husband had the steak and eggs, with gluten free toast. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and quite tender, with the sam exceptional fried potatoes and great eggs. All in all a wonderful dining experience. The food was quickly prepared as well. Prices were really reasonable!

Just passing through, chose it based on the yelp rating and the butter chicken on the menu which reminded me I wanted to try it, because I had never heard of it, before coming to British Columbia. Holy cow, outstanding food... honestly when they stewed some side veggies for me, I vote that that could become a regular dish... Fantastic rich flavor, in both dishes. I will absolutely try to reproduce these at home, and if I were ever within striking distance of this town again, I would make a substantial effort to stop in here. Wow. What a fantastic lunch.

My wife and I had the Athenian dinner for 2 last night. We upgraded to the prime rack of lamb, at the servers suggestion, and werent disappointed. The meal was incredible! The lamb, ordered medium rare, was so tender that it all but dissolved in your mouth. The platter was more than substantial for 2 adults with large appetites. The service was also fantastic. Our server, Kent, was very personable, knowledgeable about the menu items, and obviously thoroughly enjoyed his work. All in all, one of our most enjoyable dining experiences.

Stopped in for a quick bite before a concert. Wish we had more time to enjoy. Food was delicious. Our server was an incredible human being with an exceptional personality.

We had a great breakfast here before leaving Vernon to continue our road trip. We especially enjoyed the service of our waiter - he was so cheerful despite the morning breakfast rush and gave us fantastic recommendations. We loved the homemade hollandaise sauce on the Egg Benedict and the scramble special. Hot Spot is a must try.

Worst breakfast I ve had in probably ten years , mould under the ketchup caps , potatoes , some were burnt , some uncooked and had zero seasoning , curdled coffee , server picked up both plates and seen we ate three bites of each plate and didn t ask why , nothing was taken off the bill , worst dining experience ever , explains why it was the only restaurant open on Canada Day , only reason we went

Waited 50 minutes and still no food... wont be back

This spot ended up being a hidden gem. First of all, the staff are amazing. They are fun and attentive (always had a full cup of coffee). You can tell that they love their job and are proud of where they work. Second, the meals. They were great. Classic breakfast offerings. The hollandaise is from scratch too. The waffle was a hidden hit as well. For some reason I am still thinking about it. It was perfectly crisp and light and the flavour was bang on. Will definitely come back next time I am in Vernon.

We just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast there at Hot Spot 6; they were extremely busy but they still found time to make sure we had coffees tea and water. The food was delicious and still hot when we got served. We told them how much we appreciated the service. People who go to a sit down restaurant on a long weekend and want to be served quickly should go to A&W; or MacDonald s or those kind of fast food restaurants. The Hot Spot and others like it serve everyone the best they can. They are run off their feet. They don t deserve poor reviews

I came here for the 3rd time with my little family and it was amazing. We had 3 different mains and 2 starters. Dry garlic ribs were perfectly seasoned. Spring rolls were perfectly cooked and the sweet chili dipping sauce paired perfectly. I had a cheeseburger with fries and I loved every bite. My husband had a butter chicken dish and it was definitely one of the best butter chickens hes had. It came with basmati rice, salad, pita bread and he loved all of it. My son orders spaghetti and meatballs when were here and its his absolute favorite. Spahetti came with Ceasar salad and garlic toast. He always wants to eat here when we drive into Vernon. I cant say enough about the service. Kent gave us a very warm greeting and smile immediately upon entry. He was very attentive to our every need along with light conversation. I highly recommend Hot Spot on 6. Vegetarian options: There are numerous vegetarian alternatives. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access. No stairs.

The food is beyond scrumptious and the staff/chefs are absolutely wonderful !!!! If you haven t tried this restaurant please do - the menu is incredible (wide variety of very yummy meal options) and they provide the level of service that makes going out to eat a pleasure. I had the Slovaki - chicken tasted like salt with no other flavouring. The rice tasted like Liptons chicken noodle soup and not in a good way. The taziki had way too much dill and it was overpowering. My spouses sandwich according to him was very good and too much for him to eat in 1 sitting; full chicken breasts and tons of bacon.

Hot Spot on 6 catered our church s Valentine s Date Night for 60 people. We ordered the Greek Souvlaki Dinner Buffet and it was fabulous! Joanna (Manager or owner) was wonderful to work with, so accommodating to our needs and Kumar, the chef did an outstanding job. They both personally delivered the food. Presentation was attractively displayed and food was so plentiful and delicious. Everyone was able to eat as much as they wanted, many coming for seconds or thirds. They supplied us with Chicken Alfredo Penne as well and the sauce was perfectly seasoned and chicken pieces were so tender they seemed to melt in my mouth! Baklava was provided for dessert. It was perfectly executed by Joanna herself and beautifully presented!! Our church will definitely call on Hot Spot again for a catered event and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. 10 out of 10! Ruth

Have had several meals here recently, and so far very happy each time. Service has been good, prices reasonable, and the food very good. The burgers were huge and delicious, the Greek food, especially the souvlaki excellent, and the appetiser we have tried very tasty. Salads have all been excellent. We look forward each time we go, and have been very happy.

Great Homemade food

There were two tables open. One for 2 and one for 4. The waitress took the group of 2 in front of us in and sat them at the table for 4. Then told our group three they were full. Completely rude offered no options. Will not be back here, nor recommending to our visitors.

Went for lunch with my family. I ordered a ceasar while we looked over the menu, it was brought out in a glass coffee mug. Very little amount of clamato, with an olive and a chickpea garnish, do not recommend it. Next, while looking for something to eat, i ordered the calamari meal for the kids and I. Then, my husband asked for an item, server said they didn t have it. After a few choices and questions, my husband said he s good than. This is where you would think the server would suggest a good item from the menu that maybe my husband would like to try or ask if the calamari was it? Nope, instead he suggested we leave if my husband didnt want to order.

Joanne was the biggest sweetheart, not only did she open up her patio for my girlfriend and I while we were on a road trip through the area, while having no staff. She was warm and welcoming and would 12/10 go back. We both had the crème brûlée French toast and were not disappointed what so ever!

Food and service was amazing. Our waiter was very social and friendly he made a recommendation to add chicken to the load fries. Highly recommend it. Good portions too The bar was a little lacking for drinks but overall would go there again.

Love the food and most of the servers are excellent, except for one particular who dresses sleazy. She knows who she is. Very inappropriate and unprofessional

Went there for the first time recently and was delighted by the friendly service, amazing food and reasonable prices. I feel rather silly now for sleeping on this place for so long. If you decide to go, I can assure you the Donaire is A+!

The interior of this restaurant is both not superb and not bad. The food was tasty and service was friendly. One dish was nearly 10 minutes after the other three but otherwise it was a perfect meal with a fair price. We would return.

Cold soggy uncooked ham. Seasonal Fruit on the creme brule French toast consisted of canned peaches and strawberries. The icing on the cake was the undercooked eggs and the complete lack of green onions on the classic egg benedict. I get that takeout cant always be prefect but dang this really did not hit the spot.

First time here and the experience was fantastic. We will most certainly be back

Yay! Vernon has a great Greek restaurant! This was my first time eating here. It is one of the very few local spots open on Sundays. I think they were short-staffed (who isnt, these days?) because only one duo was ahead of us in line, but we still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. Unusual for Vernon. Once seated it took another 15 minutes or so to order our food. Again, I think this is a pandemic side effect, and not the norm. The food was delicious though. The other Greek restaurant in Vernon is so bad I hadnt gone to another Greek restaurant for nearly 10 years. Hot Spot on 6 is really good! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus as well as daily specials! Note they do close in the middle of the day between 2 and 4.

Service was good, Lunch was awesome! started with spring rolls, they werent bad, but wouldnt order again. Got the chicken club and my Fiance got the fish and chips, super delicious and great price! Will be back

I had the eggs Benny. It was very good. The eggs were prepared to my liking. The hollandaise sauce was good and the hashbrowns were nice and crunchy. Very good food!

After being seated, no service for 10 min. We got up and walked out. Would rather seat the next 2 sets of patrons and take their orders. 0 stars should be a option for the level of attention provided.
