Very old school atmosphere super friendly staff and incredible food!

We ordered waffles for our niece & they served us toasted eggos. A breakfast place that doesnt make their own waffles?

Had lunch today and was very impressed with the quality and flavour of our meals. We both had the hamburger soup with me having the special sandwich which had actual turkey meat in it NOT sliced lunch meat. My husband had the meatball sandwich. Both were excellent. The service was great too. Will definitely be back.

Its a cute little lunch place waffles were pretty good, roasted potatoes were a bit over seasoned but overall would probably go back

This was an amazing find thanks to google maps while driving through Vernon this morning!! 4 of us enjoyed the breakfast special, BLT with cheese and the eggs Benedict poutine!!! Rhonda was our waiter and was friendly with great service!!!

Service alone was very slow, and not very friendly, however I will say there must have been a shift change and the younger lady we had finish our table was very friendly. Our food was mediocre, the steak was well over cooked, and the hashbrowns were considerably undercooked. We were not asked how the first few bites were which is service 101. I would find better places to stop for a bite.

Food was ok. Its a family owned place so its got friendly service. The food was decent for the most part but Id skip the pancakes next time. Only been there once so perhaps I missed the prize jewels. Its not bad just not all that great either. Best thing was the service.

Great food, served by a very warm and inviting owner. I would give this place an extra star if I was allowed! Wish I could find a place like this back in Calgary, but will have to wait till my next trip out here to enjoy it again. PS. My kids loved it too :-) keep up the good work.

Best inexpensive breakfast in Vernon. Very friendly and attentive servers. Had steak (medium rare) and eggs, omelet and French toast. Hash browns cubed and baked, fresh veggie omelet, thick sliced homemade style French bread. Will be back.

Always love coming to this place! Switched owners a few years ago, but the menu is still the same with a few new additions!

Very first place I ever came to the very first time I ever visited Vernon! I said to my husband that day that I wanted to live here by the time our daughter reached kindergarten. We now have two daughters and have been here 6 years! We go to lunch matters often and they are still as good as that first visit!

The first restaurant Ive gone to eat since I first moved to the okanagan. Wonderful breakfast, amazing coffee. Definitely coming back

This little diner is such a wonderful place for breaky. Its cozy, and everything reminds me of eating at home except Im not cooking or doing dishes! The service always comes with a smile!! I definitely reccomend having a skillet or the turkey melt. Very very yummy.

Great Spot! The world could do with more owner operated places like this that offer tasty, home style cooking in abundant proportions. The fact that its located in a heritage building, with an assortment of vintage Vernon pictures on the wall, provides a touch of nostalgia as well. Theres a reason that this place fills up fast around mealtime; truly comfort food, at its finest!

This was such an awesome breakfast. Like homemade momma used to make real cut up potatoes for hashbrowns not frozen deep fried taters! Pancakes even stood out as being really good. Great for a real good breakfast!

Fantastic diner in the heart of downtown Vernon. Have dined for breakfast/ lunch several times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast special includes coffee for less than $10. Large portions with homemade hash browns, (or half and half option of sliced tomatoes), 2 eggs, 3 pieces of meat and 2 slices of toast. Also tried the burger for lunch and it was most satisfying.

Best service AND food anywhere in town! Despite the recent change of ownership. not much has changed. I appreciate the speed, and friendliness from the staff. I have dined in more then 20 times and I can personally tell you that this is the BEST food in town. Will recommend to anyone!

Good price, good portions and good food. Parking near the restaurant is almost non-existent so be prepared to walk a fair distance from where ever you park.

Food was great however we had to wait pretty long time even though the place was almost empty.

Enormous delicious portions, splendid service.

Waited an hour for breakfast with it only 2 tables ahead of us and restaurant nearly empty..staff were apologetic stating they were back up with to go orders. Food arrived cold, bland and tasted overwhelmingly of margarine. Definitely not worth the wait and wont return.

The server was great. The food was bland and took over an hour to get to us. Second star is only because the server was so nice.

Everytime customers came in the waitress said something that would almost get them to leave. When we got in the told us it would be a half hour till we got our food do hope you dont mind waiting. The next table was told they would be closing in 15 minutes. Puzzled they asked if they could still order and were told yes. My eggs were very runny as I ordered them hard. There are a lot of worse things that could have happened and even though this isnt a big deal just thought it was worth the mention.

Friendly staff that remembered that we are fairly regular out of town customers that stop by. Since hands changed to new owners you get slightly less food for the same price (I usually order the classic club, has less turkey and bacon on it then it used to have on it, but it still tastes the same.)

My son and I come every Monday at early morning hockey practice. The staff is amazing, good is always hot, fresh and fast! We look forward to coming every week- delicious food with amazing value for dollar and the absolute best service!!
