Best lobster roll!!! I’d order extra aioli next time but soooo good! And such nice folks.

The Lobster Pot Vernon food truck made its way to Lumby Days. Because I knew ahead of time that it qualified as a Vernon eatery, I ordered from this food truck for the first time ever. This is my 97th eatery in Vernon. The food options, like most food trucks, have a limited menu but are highly specialized in one item. Here it's all about the lobster roll sandwiches. A regular one runs you out of $22 and a large one costs $33 making it the most expensive food truck in Vernon. Thankfully, they offer a grilled cheese sandwich with round kettle chips underneath for $8 after tax. I don't eat many grilled cheese sandwiches. I can't say I know what constitutes a quality grilled cheese sandwich. It wasn't my favourite ever, but it wasn't bad either. I still enjoyed eating it. My one suggestion: Put the chips inside the grilled cheese sandwich. I decided to shove chips inside the sandwich myself instead of eating it separately, and it made the sandwich taste a lot better. I hope the owners tell all of the customers to do this. It gives it that kick that it needs. Overall, I really enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich and interacting with the friendly owners. I don't have a passion for lobster nor grilled cheese sandwiches so I don't know if I'll be back, but it exceeded my expectations of what I had going in. I should note customers who ate the lobster sandwich before and after me complimented the chefs as they left. If you have a passion for lobster, you need to try this food truck!

Great food but getting expensive. Used to eat there 2 -3 times a week either kelowna or vernon wont be doing that this year

Lobster roll was amazing! Not normally a bread guy but this was bread was so utterly and delicious. Lots of lobster but could probably eat 3-4. Very good!

Best lobster roll I've had since eating them in Halifax. Real east coasters spreading the joys of the Maritimes. Lobster roll had huge pieces and was marinated to perfection in the garlic Aioli sauce. And it wasn't drenched. The taste of fresh PEI Lobster was the main one here. Toasted hot dog buns exactly how they should be. Butter making it crispy on the outside and just perfectly warm in the inside. A must for a quick superb bite. ***At the time we were there they were offering free food to evacuees and first responders. East coast hospitality at its best. But make sure to tip as they are amazing. Mom helping sons business!
