The meals are always great. My favorites are the fish and chips and Forno Oven baked brisket Pizza!!!
On the Way was my 196th eatery in Vernon. It is ironically named given this restaurant is the furthest one away from my house in Vernon. It was a 28 minute drive. My dad had the fish and chips. I had the deep fried pickles, a soda, and Sassy Burger. I paid $55 after tax and a 15 percent tip. It's a really cool setup as this is like a food truck but with an inspired and large seated arrangement. The food tasted great and the owners seem really dedicated to this business. I don't know if I will make it back here because of its location, but it truly is a hidden gem within Vernon. I highly recommend this spot. 196 eateries in Vernon are complete. I only have five eateries remaining.
nice little cozy outdoor setup, Food is quick and good! Worth the stop for a snack or lunch!!
Always great food and pizza on pizza nights during the summer were the best.
I have consistently been impressed with the food here, having tried a range of dishes from pizza to poutine. The quality is exceptional and never disappoints. While the prices are on the higher side than most might expect, the superior taste and quality make it worth it, especially considering the limited options for such great food in the area. I always leave satisfied and full after my meals.
Stopped here for a bite, we got the tacos which were delicious. It was rainy and cold today but it was just what we needed
I can't speak to the food as I didn't eat even though they offer a wide selection. They are on First Nations land which is alcohol free. Hmm, there are numerous cannabis stores? We stopped for a soft drink (we really wanted a brew) and found the outdoor venue quite nice. Kind of reminded us of being at a Mexican bar. The server who also owns the establishment was quite nice and appreciated our business. On Wednesdays and Sundays they have pizza night. The pizza is baked in a wood fire oven. I'm sure it would taste great. They also have set the place up to do outdoor movies. I think the price will be by donation. And I was told on Saturday, there would be a Blues musician. I was also advised that they will be adjusting their hours, so if going there check first.
We rolled in late (not realizing it was spring hours) but Charlie and Sandra took care of us with a fabulous Pizza! Felt like we were with family..will def be back for some Calzones!
Went to enjoy On the way with my mom drove from Vernon only to find that it was closed. Very disappointing.
