Casual brunch spot with a Mexican vibe.
- delicious Mexican breakfast food - I found this place through Reddit with a search of fav breakfast places in Victoria, so we are giving it a shot. The decor was unique, cozy, and Mexican xD! We ordered the chilaquiles skillet, Spanish omelette, and the mango mama pancakes. My husband also ordered a side of hash brown. The pancakes came first and they were five small pancakes with blueberries, mango, and syrup. They were delicious and I think mango was seasoned already as it tasted slightly different than fresh mango. The waitress recommended the chef's skillet, so we got that instead. It came with fresh avocado, beans, two eggs, and quite a lot of mushed tortilla with cheese. I enjoyed it but I'm not a fan of the texture so much. The omelette was probably my favorite out of the three dishes. The cornbread that came with it was also interesting. I didn't pay much attention to it at first since I wasn't very big on cornbread, but the crispy sides were really nice, and I guess that's why people on reddit were in love with the cornbread here. The hash browns were basically fries/fried potatoes to me with some green onion and sour cream. My husband enjoyed it but I wasn't a big fan as it seems super filling. We managed to finish everything with the three of us. The service was good, and they also refilled my hot water once as well. I don't remember the vibe as nothing was playing at that time. There weren't a lot of people dining there between 10 to 11 am on a Thursday either.
Had a lovely brunch here! We didn't have to wait too long for a table on a Sunday morning. The service was excellent and the food - delish! I highly recommend the Benny and the Cakes! Sweet and savory.
Had the amazing Elporco Eggs Benny. It was amazing! Delicious (but hot) house got sauce. Wonderful servers and vary accommodating to our 7 person party.
the BEST place for brunch in victoria. the service is amazing and the food is incredible. my favourites are the conquistador and the fuego pancakes (pictures included). highly recommend stopping in!
The chicken and French toast dish was delicious. We also got the skillet which was great. Overall, food was good and generous portions. The location is perfect as it is close to the government street and we recommend exploring the cute stores around this area.
Our family loved every breakfast dish we ordered! The potatoes and the el Porco eggs Benedict were incredible. Kids had pancakes that they raved about!
Nothing but great things to say…the location is great with a nice patio looking into a market square, the food was excellent, and the server was amazing. I am only in town for two days and this was day two but wish I found it on day one. The only minor challenge, if you don’t like onions then finding a dish might be a challenge, but my excellent server was up to it and found us great breakfast options I added a picture of their home made hot sauce as it was amazing as well!
I had a rare Monday off and we happened to be downtown so we popped in here for brunch. I'd heard good things and my expectations were exceeded. From the friendly attentive service, fresh coffee and timely refills, helpful menu recommendations. Everything sounded so good. We finally narrowed down our choices. My wife had the Fuego Benny and I went with the Fried Chicken and Cornbread French Toast with side of blueberry coulis. The flavours and textures and presentation are spot on. It was all just so good and we left happy and very full. Special thanks to our server Michelle for excellent service. Can't wait to come back!
Great food. Really enjoyed the pork tacos. Don t miss the wonderful churros for dessert too!
My favourite brunch in Vic by far. The chiquilles skillet was always my go to; so much flavour and so filling. The hot chocolate is a great beverage. My other recommendations include el porco benny, the chips and salsa, refried beans and enchiladas. Also highly recommend the house made hot sauce!
Such tasty food!
Fun breakfast spot for some Mexican flavors.
Atmosphere is amazing, food was amazing, staff were amazing!
Love it! Great food :D
Amazing experience!
Breakfast was worth the wait but be prepared to stand outside for a while. It would be a 5 Star except for the lack if adequate waiting benches. VERY LITTLE waiting room inside. So be prepared for standing outside. The rush ended at about 10:45am. The eggs benedict Benny were awesome. The chipotle flavor in the hollandaise was perfect and not overpowering at all.
Great staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. Lots of gluten free options for my partner.
Fresh and delicious food. Great GF options. Lovely staff. Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options. Server treated my requests seriously and I developed no symptoms afterwards. Food : 5/5
Loved this place, we brought our friends from the Philippines here and they liked it too. I got the quesadilla and it was awesome. Staff is friendly and attentive. The vibes and decor are great. They have mango Jarritos also!
That was so great.
I recently visited Foego Old Town Eatery in Victoria and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the Eggs Benedict - Original, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the presentation was excellent. The service was prompt and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The overall atmosphere of the eatery was cozy and inviting. I left satisfied and happy, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service in Victoria.
Good portions, great service and excellent food! Must try!!
Always tasty! Dietary restrictions: Two celiac kids, gluten free options are good, we have eaten here a few times and always happy with it. Food : 5/5 |
Came in for just to sample a couple of things as we were restaurant hopping. Great breaky place! Beautiful area in market square. Kind staff! Food
Incredible breakfast spot!
Delicious food. Very nice atmosphere.
Went in for Brunch and had the Benny and the Cakes. An absolutely wonderful spot that has a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food.
Really nice place, especially the patio back of house. Great food and very friendly service
Wow great food!!! Especially the bfast
Amazing food, amazing people! Our lunch was a genuine delight from the moment we walked through the door until we were back in our car. Dietary restrictions: Amazing Gluten-free menu!
Delicious food, friendly service. Bit of a long wait for breakfast but definitely worth it
Excellent service, they are a pet friendly place and they brought a water bowl for my fur baby! And their corn pancakes are definitely a must!
We absolutely loved every dish we ate. Thank you for creating Birthday Churros for my niece...super Special!!!
Good food , location and valur
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We come here a lot... its always tasty food and its always great service! Its very authentic tasting and the owner is a wonderful person!
Get. The. Cornbread.
Delicious brunch with a Mexican twist. Sit outside on a nice day.
A regular place on our round of favourites. Excellent food, very friendly and efficient staff.
Loved, loved this place 3 years ago when last here. This time everyone had eggs over easy and all done hard. The fresh taste that I remembered from the harvest breakfast with the arugula was not there but the pico salsa was good. The potatoes were ok. Maybe just an off day.
As a Southern California resident and I approve this Mexican food. Fantastic Breakfast/ Brunch with authentic taste.
Food is fine, but nothing special. The hashbrowns are very oily and soggy fries. Breakfast items are a bit boring and definitely need more sauces and spices.
Food is amazing , so flavourful and amazing service
I like it because it s not salty!
One of my favorite brunch places when visiting Victoria!
Can t go wrong with anything on the menu. Also, they sell their hot sauce (thank me later).
The veggie Eggs Benedict was terrific. Id recommend this place to anyone visiting Victoria.
Had a great breakfast there, had the chilaquiles quite pulled pork, our server was amazing, great sense of humour and super nice and had spot on recommendations for the food! I can t remember her name anymore but she was wearing a beautiful long black skirt serving 3 of us girls! I will definitely be back!!
So good. Well taken care of. The El Porco is a unique variation on eggs Benny and a must for lovers of pulled pork
Outstanding breakfast, had one of my all-time favorite Benedicts (the Fuego), quite happy we came here
Everything is amazing about this place!!! Thank you for the great experience!
Every time I come here is a new best day of my life.
One of my favourite brunch places in Victoria! The menu they give everyone has a full gluten free side to it, and many of the menu items can be made gluten free. Its always very good! Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options!
Absolutely delicious food that rivals Olvera St in Los Angeles! I ordered the chimichanga and was in total awe of the shredded pork, rice and beans! So simple but so delicious. Best bite of Mexico I have had in years. The old building is beautiful and the decor is simple and charming.
Pretty sure the menu is new since my last visit a few years ago. Have to say the breakfast offerings are outstanding. I had a bean salsa on corn bread with scrambled which was fantastic! Will be going back to try more! Food
The tastiest breakfast joint in Victoria! The fried chicken and cornbread French toast is out of this world.
The food here is incredible! The Spanish omelette is my go to. Best layover breakfast place! Will be coming back again, tomorrow!
The food was beautifully presented, delicious and service was also good. In all, an excellent experience, and I will definitely be back.
A great Hispanic influenced breakfast menu.
Everything is amazing. The french fries are to die for. I cannot say enough good things about the food here!
Love that place! Different breakfast than the typical eggs bacon and botatoes.
Eating here is as if there was a fiesta in your mouth, and everyones invited.
Delicious breakfast food and friendly staff! We particularly enjoyed the Benny and the Cakes option for a half-Benny and half-pancake plate fantastic for indecisive people! Vegetarian options: Plentiful vegetarian options on the menu! Parking: It s downtown parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry through the front door. (There is a 3 high easy ramp over the door lip.)
Decent but not great. Eggs were perfectly Cooked but could have used some more salsa and maybe a little pickled onion or something a little extra. Buy friendly service and fun spot. Food
Chilaquiles superb. Really nice meal. Nice place to sit, good service. To give other posters their due, this was my third visit over as many years. First was take out in COVID - very good. Second was a real let down - both service and food, and I was somewhat reluctant to return. Glad I did though, so. Vegetarian options: Vegan versions. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free extensive.
Best Mexican in town!
Being a Mexican In Victoria , Can be Hard About Finding Authentic Mexican Flavours FUEGO OLD EATERY Really makes the difference, good taste , place and service attitude makes this a whole experience. Food
Sunday January 8/2023. We went to Fuego for brunch arriving a little after 11:00 a.m. and found ourselves in line for about 40 minutes. It was worth the wait. Once seated the two of us were joined by a young man Sam, from Toronto at our invitation and we spent an interesting Brunch learning a bit about each other. I had the breakfast Chimichanga and my better half had the chicken and cornbread. We both enjoyed our meals very much. Service was great and the wait staff did their best to seat us as quickly as possible. Thanks Sam for the Mimosas!
I never have a bad experience when I come here. The food is soòoooo delicious no matter what you order.
Very poor communication. It took about 1.5 hours to be seated and about 45 minutes to have our order on table.
Very slow we waited 1.5 hr to get sit and 1 hr to have our breakfast ready. Very bad customer service. We will never back
The food is decent but the service is terrible. Servers were giving us attitude from the moment we walked in. No communication on the waiting times and it took them more that 40min to serve the orders. You have to ask for coffee refill but you ll get it with some more attitude and rolling eyes if you re lucky! This town has tons of better brunch places!
You will feel like home when eating here. Just perfect Food
The SALSAS are awesome!
Lovely service and the dood was great. Got seated immediately and dishes came out really quickly. The chimichangas I had were delicious and would recommend it. Would definitely come again and try a brunch item. Food
Such a great and unique breakfast menu! I always come here while I m in town!
A hidden gem :) lovey service and a delicious brunch!
Good prices. Tasty food.
Amazing food. I got the chiliqueles which pulled pork. Sooo good. Had to try the cornbread which was fantastic. Great overall dining experience. Im coming back for the chimichanga
Amazing hidden spot! Mouth watering and excellent flavors. Mango and pancakes blew my mind!
Have never had a bad experience in all the years going there. Love the in-house hot sauce. Food
Nice food service and atm, many gluten free options breakfast burrito; chose sausage option, better with salsa, comes with nice side Recommended dishes
Always delicious! Worth the visit everyrime I am in Victoria. It is now a staple.
Wonderful breakfast location in the heart of downtown. Had the pancakes with fried chicken and blueberries. Very yummy! Service was excellent too.
Great spot even better food!
It s okay but I don t understand the hype. The potatoes were saturated with grease and I felt like the beans came form a can without much being done to it. Service was friendly and fast, prices are better than most places, but it wasn t amazing. It s a decent breakfast. (I had the Fuego Benny. The eggs were cooked right, the sauce isn t from a package and is good. The cornbread was tasty but crumbly, which is kinda cornbread thing.) I wouldn t talk people out of going because they re doing some great ideas, but the quality of their sides is disappointing. I hear good things about the sauces. Maybe pick a meal that doesn t have potatoes they re the worst potatoes I ve had in a restaurant in a long time. But like I say nice service, quick food, interesting variety. I can only attest to the meal I was served.
Breakfast wrap is so yum
The refried beans are the best! So was the rest of the meal!!!! Wonderful staff!!!! Vegetarian options: Lots of options. Dietary restrictions: GF and Vegan
I decided to try the harvest breakfast and it did not disappoint! It was a tasty dish with a hint of spice that gave it an extra kick. I also loved the homemade salsa sauce - it was so good that I ended up buying a bottle to take home with me. The service was also very friendly and fast. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, and it was right next to the sea which. For dessert, I decided to try the churros pancakes which were simply delicious. However, I must say that they were a bit too sweet for my taste. Additionally, there were plenty of parking spots available right in front of the restaurant which made it very convenient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty breakfast with a great view and friendly service.
Very tasty food and lovely ambiance
Food was excellent. Large portions. We had breakfast and enjoyed each dish.
Breakfast wrap was very underwhelming
I ve eaten in and had take away from here, both have been incredible. I ve had a lot of brunch in Victoria and this spot is the best. Their chipotle Hollandaise is the best Hollandaise I ve ever had. The slow roasted pork in the el porco Benny is also next level. Can t recommend this place enough!
I loved this place! Fantastic menu, the fuego benny was excellent (perfect touch of spice) and the service was wonderful. Very prompt despite being busy and they were quick to bring me sanitizer before I paid and offered to pack up my leftover chips for me.
Best breakfast in town!!
The best breakfast spot in Victoria. We eat here at *least* once a week. The atmosphere is amazing, the food is unique and so so so good and the ladies who run the front end are the friendliest and warmest people. If you are visiting Victoria and need one place to try - it s Fuego. If you live here and have not been yet you need to.
Amazing food!! Must try!
Well done.. home made corn bread, fresh avocado and a poached egg.. all on the rear deck.
Yep! Go here if you like an alternative to a north American breakfast. Always good, great service. Busy place so expect to wait...but worth the wait! Vegetarian options: Lots of no meat options...
First time here! Had the Fuego Benny and it did not disappoint! Service was friendly, the menu was unique and the atmosphere is awesome. Will absolutely be back and happily recommend to others!
Went to this place on a whim earlier this week, and we ve come back twice since. The food is phenomenal, and staff are super friendly. Everything we ve tried on the menu has been delicious, and easily customized depending on dietary needs.
When I want something a little bit different for brunch, Fuego is where I am immediately drawn. The food walks the fusion balance incredibly well, with perfect blends of standard western breakfast and Mexican flavours. I bus in from Langford without question and it is worth it every time.
Hard to beat the breakfast here. Good portions and tastes terrific! Great service, reasonably priced.
Very few Mexican restaurants have the right touch and atmosphere. This is an incredible gem right on Victoria harbour. Food is amazing and the decor is fantastic with priceless huge posters of the Mexican revolution and old town feel. I always come when I visit Victoria. Try the Divorciados eggs and corn bread. They are superb!
Very pleasant brunch on the veranda on a warm late morning. Definitely will be back.
Market breakfast was wonderful. So flavorful!
I ordered today around 9:30am, waited half an hour (totally fair) and specified the breakfast burrito I wanted to be veggie. Instead I received the sausage chorizo, Once I scraped the meat out, there was nothing but eggs and tortilla.
Our meals and service were amazing!!
Amazing brunch. Get a side of the beans it will change your day. Vegetarian options: Whole side of the menu for vege and glute free options. Food : 5/5 |
Best Mexican food in town!!! Vegetarian options: They have them. They are just as good as the non- vegetarian meals Kid-friendliness: Very relaxed environment. They have booths Wheelchair accessibility: There are accessible tables at the street entrance
Line was extremely long, wait extremely long, obviously a sign that the food is good , maybe I ll have better luck next time
Best Mexican breakfast I ve eaten in years. Gourmet for a reasonable price. Service was great.
Food was delicious, staff were very friendly, and it s got a great vibe. Thanks!
Most authentic Mexican food in Victoria! Going there for the nostalgia.
My Daughter, six friends and I met for breakfast. Lovely to sit and see the sculpture and grasses from the big bay window. Frida was wonderful, making sure we all were happy with our orders Food was tasty, large portions. Fuego is a busy place. Very popular.
Best breakfast Ive had in my life
This is a great neighborhood gem. Breakfast or lunch served until 2pm. Delicious.
Delicious food!
I went in with a group of three people. The service was truly bad. From the moment we came in, the waiter kept giving us ugly looks and attitude. When the bill arrived and we didn t give her the tip she was expecting, the waitress and the manager approach to us and asked us to give a tip or not go back again. There are several Mexican places with better taste, environment but most importantly service. NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL.
Very very slow
Super tasty. Was heading to another restaurant when we came across them and am so happy we decided to go in. One of the best brunches we had in a long time. Highly recommended the Ceasar with bacon. Updated 2023 - came back here as our last experience was great and had a disappointing experience. When our food was delivered, the server tipped my plate and spilled my eggs. Not enough to fall on the floor but enough to hang off the plate. She just put it down and was like, sorry. The yolk then popped on the table and she just walked away. A second server offered to get a replacement egg which ended up being rushed and very undercooked. In addition, the plate was supposed to have chorizo as part of the dish but it was also missing. It was brought out after we noticed it. Overall it was not good. I get that this happens and normally it can all be addressed but the attitude of the server was pretty poor and it was all just brushed off as oh well. I will think twice before coming back here.
I really liked the atmosphere, the friendly staff are all attentive to you, the fries were not that good but the burrito was great
Good food if you want something Mexican style
food took a while, but it was packed so understandable!!! servers were lovely food was bomb
My wife and I had brunch Sunday August 13th at 1:00pm. It was busy. We did not have to wait to be seated. Our order was taken within 5 minutes. However, our food took 27 minutes to arrive. I had GF Benny Bowl with chorizo. They potatoes were Irish or nearly raw. After waiting for 27 minutes for our food I was in no mood to return it and wait another 1/2 hour. I was never asked how my food was. My brunch was disappointing.
Touristing around the area as it was close to our air bnb. Decided to check out this place out since we noticed there was a lineup around 1pm on a Sunday. Lineup meant it s good right? The service was prompt, food was good. I ordered the fried chicken and cornbread. The fried chicken was not bad but more of tenders. Loved their nachos!
I live in Phoenix, Az. and Fuego is as good or better than any Mexican food found there. Breakfast is divine. Highly recommend the breakfast chimichanga. If you can, sit outside overlooking Market Square. Plenty of GF and vegetarian options.
Ended up at our third choice (Jam, then Johns both too busy) ... and so glad we did!! This should have been our first choice. Almost no wait, the service was fast and friendly, and the food was really outstanding. The chorizo was rich and spicy, the cornbread buttery perfection and everything such pronounced flavour. We enjoyed the Market Breakfast and Conquistador. Good value for the cost and really delicious. Would happily return if we were local. Great way to start our day in Victoria!
Great brunch today! Had the GF Benny Bowl for $18.5. The flavour was sooooo amazing! My soft poached eggs were done perfectly. Cant wait to go back!
Breakfast was great. First time Ive asked for medium poached eggs and actually got medium poached. The breakfast was definitely one of my tops. Our server elsie was very nice and super attentive. These days thats rare. The Caesar! Ya.. fantastic! Definitely recommend
Been here twice and loved both times. Everything is to die for, especially the breakfast items. Ill come back everytime Im in Victoria!
All I can say AMAZING. The food was excellent, the pork enchiladas had a delightfully sweet taste to them, beans and rice were delicious as well. The guacamole tasted fresh, and the gluten free Benedict with Chipotle sauce was incredible. Dont miss this place! Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options with a dedicate menu
Food service and atmosphere is always efficient consistent and clean. Thank you for the many gluten free options also.
The tacos were so good, the Spanish rice so flavourful. My husband and I housed our dishes in ten minutes flat.
It should not take 2 cooks working through each order, in series, 45 minutes to get food out. This caused my party and I to have to box our food to catch a ferry (despite arriving to the restaurant in ample time), which was OK at best.
This is a must try for everyone. Staff is the best Food is exquisite Well worth the wait if there is one, most days there is to be honest 11/10 Food : 5/5 | Service
Beautiful food - again. Breakfast that is consistently delicious. Waitress was professional and knowledgeable - with perfect timing and attentiveness.
Decent atmosphere and products but terribly slow moving customers through the sales process
An absolut gem!! If youre looking for a phenomenal brunch accompanied by great service, this is the place for you. The food quality is out of this world and the staff are super nice. I have to visit this restaurant every time I visit Victoria. The Cornbread French toast and the Spanish Omelette is my favorite. If I could make one suggestion, Id probably add fresh juices to the menu.
Great food!
The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was friendly, helpful, and prompt. An enjoyable brunch out with my family. Vegetarian options: Appreciated the vegan section of the menu. Its nice not to always have to ask for mods.
Good food, reasonable prices and nice people! Props for clean bathroom too Vegetarian options: Vegan options available Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
Our waitress was absolutely precious! She was great at recommending things. The food was delicious.
Came here after our original brunch plan spot had a super long wait. Man am I glad we came here- new go to brunch spot! The service was great, and the food was AMAZING!!! The guacamole was the best I have had in a long time, to die for. I had the eggs benny with refried beans and I had the chipotle hollandaise. The beans were authentic, and were absolutely amazing; and the chipotle hollandaise OMG! SO GOOD! This place combines my 2 faves- Mexican and brunch. I recommend this place if you are in the downtown area, definitely will be coming again!!
A brunch spot I will return to any time again
Great way to start out our day. Food was hot, fresh and delicious.
Delicious and buzzing place. The staff were warm and friendly, and very efficient. Appreciated how responsive they were when we were joined by an added guest partway through the meal. The breakfast burrito and skillet we had were excellent, fresh and generously portioned. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, staff was super friendly to our 5 yr old.
Loved it food was delicious server was funny and the store had a fun atmosphere would go again
If youre in Victoria you have to eat here. Just incredible. I had a pulled pork Benny that knocked my socks off.
Very cute breakfast joint in Victoria. Staff is very polite. I had a chocolate milk and churro pancakes. The chocolate milk was very clearly white milk where they just added some chocolate syrup into it. The pancakes were alright. I wouldn`t get either of those dishes again. My friend had the conquistador and it was delicious. If I come back to Victoria and we go here again, I will be getting the conquistador!
Weve been walking here straight from the ferry port on every trip for years! The food is great, the people are lovely and the menu is so creative.
Good for a Mexican themed breakfast and big portions. Minus a star as they must use margarine in their hollandaise sauce instead of butter, so the oily taste is overpowering and sub-par compared to a proper hollandaise sauce made with butter. It detracts from an otherwise tasty and creative eggs Benedict.
Avocado toast is done with house cornbread. Yum! Churros are good here. Great vibe, very nice ladies work here.
Had the chimichanga. Soooo delicious. My husband had the fuego eggs Benedict which were too spicy for me but he enjoyed it.
Delicious brunch, Canadian/South American fusion! Had the Fuego pancakes - incredible!
great spot , great food , great service
Delicious + great service and great atmosphere.
Laid back west coast kinda place. But the comida was just not quite there.
The food was absolutely amazing! There were three of us and we all ordered different things and they were all fantastic! We were visiting Victoria from our of province and I am so glad we tried Fuego! It was awesome!
Absolutely perfect ! The waitress was really nice and here to help us ! We enjoy the meal for the brunch it was delicious ! The restaurant is also beautiful with a good mood :) I would totally recommend it with your family or with your boyfriend:)
Great Mexican-inspired eats. We usually only do brunch here but the other menus look terrific as well.
You d never expect to find authentic Mexican flavors in Victoria yet we ventured and were not disappointed. Service was great and the food was even better. They also have a great vegan option section with several dishes. Definitely recommended!!
The food here is seriously amazing. We came for breakfast and I had the fuego Benny that comes on cornbread. The cornbread was so buttery and delicious. We also used their Fuego habanero hot sauce that had a great kick to it. 10/10 with great food and service.
Tried El Fuego for the first time and It was pretty good. Had the chicken and corn bread French toast and it had great flavours. The chicken was a little over cooked so it was a tad dry. Also tried their house made hot sauce and it was delicious with the right amount of kick. Will definitely be trying it again.
We enjoyed a great breakfast recently here. Chorizo breakfast burrito for me and pancakes with cooked apples, pickled red onions and shredded pork for ma lady. Relaxing music and hot coffee tied it all together.
Awesome vegan breakfast. Veggie Skillet is delish. And topped with some of Fuegos own hot sauce was perfect . Yum!!
So good, best brekkie in Victoria!
Vegetarian options: A very delicious omelette. Best omelette i have had in a restaurant. Salsa, guac. I dont normally like corn bread and i savoured every bite. Definitely returning in a couple of days for another veggie omelette. Recommended dishes
Delicious brunch alert! Tasty bottomless coffee. Gorgeous space with vaulted ceilings. Fun music. Killer food. We loved the benny and the cakes option that lets you pick a mix of any benny and any speciality pancake. The el porco benny stood out for me but honestly every part of our meals was delicious.
REALLY good food but am always left feeling pretty disappointed about the portion sizes. Also, there is significant room for improvement when it comes to the hours of operations here. Not open weekends? At all?
Best brunch Ive tried when visiting Victoria. Also their sauce is AWESOME and we get it every time were in town. Absolutely amazing place, would recommend.
My favourite breakfast spot in Victoria so far! Server was so friendly but I never got her name.
Was a bit of a wait to get in but I cant wait to go back, this was a suggestion from my wife and she nailed it. This place has such good food, new favorite breakfast spot. Parking: Not a lot of parking, we parked at the Hudson Bay Parkade.
Bomb food and great service!! Would definitely recommend and return here!
I had the el porco eggs benedict, if you have anything there, try that! It was really good. The people I was with tried other things on the menu, like corn bread French toast, which were also very delicious. Prices are very reasonable.
Awesome Breakfast
Cozy Mexican breakfast/brunch place. Went there on a Saturday morning and there was a bit of a line up. Waited for about 15-20 minutes for a seat. Love the decor of the place and the food to me is as authentic as it gets in town. Their pull pork enchiladas are very tasty!
Tiny but mighty: a small place with incredible breakfast and brunch options. They have a great twist on eggs benedict with cornbread and chipotle hollandaise. Great pancakes with pulled pork too!
Great place. The food was excellent. They have a really cool courtyard in the back. The food was very filling and tasty. The breakfast burrito was amazing. The staff seemed a bit annoyed and short with us. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.
I ate some divorced eggs and they were delicious.
I don t typically take time to review. My favourite restaurant in town. Unique menu and you won t be disappointed.
Cannot say enough good things about Fuego! Everything that Ive tried here is equally delicious. My absolute favourite is the Mango Mama pancakes, the combo of mango and blueberry with a hint of mint is so so good.
great selection of gluten free options!
The Conquistador was soooo delicious, we both go hard for a good potato pancake and Fuegos was perfectly crispy and the house salsa is to die for!!
