We had our office christmas party here. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will be back.

Amazing service. We were a large group, food and drinks came quickly. The avocado sushi roll was tasty, nachos were great. Recommend for large groups.

We had a great time at Browns Socialhouse in Langford! The food here tastes even better than the one in Uptown. The service was attentive, and we enjoyed a relaxed and pleasant experience.

I always get the beef dip + ceaser salad and it is always amazing! Downtown location did it a bit different, so I do prefer the Langford one better. Service is always great and prompt, even during rushes.

Browns in Langford is excellent. The only issue with my experience, and been regretting it all day, was not asking the pretty blonde in white sitting at the bar for her number!

Just tried to order a French dip but without the garlic mayo and was told that s not possible because the bread is pre-mayo d . Absolutely ridiculous, I ve never had an issue ordering something without mayo from the uptown Brown s location. What about people with allergies? Do better Brown s, seriously. Do you not make the food fresh per order?

My friend and I went here for lunch. She got the nachos with sauce on the side and I got the southwest bowl with a gluten allergy. Our waitress Kaelyn was amazing very understanding of allergy s and very very polite with a good vibe. Tuesday 18th 530pm

Awesome food and service but the music is so loud you cant really have a conversation. Turn it down a touch and the place would be 5 star for sure. We just had to basically sit in silence and groove out to the tunes after 15 minutes of yelling.

The food was pretty good; one of our steaks was a little tough, and the portions were small. However, the service was completely on point, and the waiter was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable of his menu items. Parking: There were not many options for parking; we got lucky with a spot out back.

Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and they gave the smallest piece of chicken. My husband ordered a chicken salad as well and the chicken portion was just as tiny. The salad for both also had mostly yellow lettuce. We were both still hungry when we left

Great food and consistent menu, but honestly the service is worse than mediocre lately.

Had a great little appetizer, beef quesadillas and the waiter was so professional and helpful. Will go back over and over again. The only restaurant I know of that stays open in Langford past 9 pm. Parking: Lots of parking in the strip plaza after 9 pm. You can park in the back or the side of the plaza. Before 9 pm it is sometimes difficult to find parking so I suggest parking at the plaza that has Fairways supermarket in it which is perpendicular to Browns Social House.

Okay food but just a strip mall location with parking lot atmosphere. Cocktails were just okay and prices seem high for the quality.

Ordered a dinner salad. Got the smallest chicken breast imaginable with salad from the bottom of the bucket for 23$. Left with my stomach growling and had to go shopping then home to make an actual dinner with my wife - not what we expected for the evening.

We dont normally order out, but today we chose Browns and WOW, you did not disappoint. Food was warm and still crunchy, despite me driving home after pick up. It was well seasoned and presented so well. That was 10/10. So so good!!!

Food is overpriced for what you get, and 4.75$ for sour roast drip coffee, thats insane. I never go to browns and this visit reminded me why. Good service, waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. 35$ for a coffee and bowl of rice with some protein.

The food is usually on point here, very yummy. I love their dynamite roll, calamari, tuna bowl, dragon bowl, and steak. Cant go wrong with their burgers, nachos and blackened chicken. Servers and staff are awesome, and happy hour is great! :) The only point Ive removed is because of the atmosphere. Its a bit dark and dungeon-like in the evening, some people like that pub vibe, however there are times it deters me from going there.

Food was cold by the time it was picked up from the kitchen. We watched our food sit there for 10 minutes before our waitress ( who was too busy chatting with a table to pay attention to her other customers ) pickd it up and delivered it to our table.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Langford. The food, service, and atmosphere is next to no other. The covered outdoor seating is lovely, with heat and comfortable chairs. If youre lucky, there are even two booths out there. Love this place!

Went for lunch today with my sister. Outstanding server (Locklan) made our time fun and memorable. Ive been many times before and the food is always great (Wish you would bring back the pizzas) by the energy and attentiveness of Locklan makes me want to go back tomorrow ! That guy should get a raise!

Indoor patio was very well lit with an abundance of natural light. Server was very polite and well versed in the menu. GM Jay was very welcoming and a refreshing conversationalist. Chef BBs demeanor makes the experience akin to a family BBQ, which is always preferred at a local cornerstone establishment. Will be back anytime Im in the area.

Well we have been to browns a number of times and we enjoyed it, but today was the first time we truly enjoyed the service , her name is Kaylynn not sure that s how it s spelled, but she was so sweet and kind and inviting, she was sincere, and just a wonderful person. We would like her to be recognized for her excellent service. Thank you so Kaylynn we will be back and we hope you are our server, but if not we know you will make many customers at browns feel special so thank you again for your service

Had the fish n chips. Honestly, its one of the best Ive ever had. The service was great even tho it was busy. I rated the atmosphere 4 stars because I have quite sensitive hearing. If you can handle loud places, then this is your place. If you cant, I suggest you consider a different place. Been here a couple of times, and the volume level is the same. Which is not the restaurants fault. Cant help but be a great place to eat.

Came in Friday night after work to have some drinks and food. I prefer to drink while waiting for food right so after my first expresso martini I m looking around. There s atleast 5 waitresses working. No one comes by, tables are being cleaned, people standing around, other people being served. For a friday night the place was maybe half full. A different person comes by with our food and runs away. My empty drink is still sitting there. We get through our meal and no one has come by so I m just looking for anyone. Multiple waitresses are walking around, I make eye contact with one and she walks away. Keep waiting until finally a server notices and comes over. I tell her we haven t been getting any service and we d like to order more drinks. No response just takes our order and we wait another 10 plus minutes for second drinks. Very disappointing experience. Food was good.

To be honest the service has been pathetic. The food was served cold. No side plates or water has been offered. The food was served half an hour late that too cold. I work as a concierge and will never recommend this to anyone. It was a bizarre experience. The waitress was also not paying attention to the table seems like she has been avoiding the table.

Browns social house! Don t let the $11 corona throw you off, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is electric. The staff are professional and friendly and the clientele is elite. Make sure to try out the frozen Bellini and don t be afraid if Dan comes to your table and starts harassing you, he s harmless. Overall, I d definitely go back as soon as possible! But again, $11 for a corona?

I made a boxing day dinner reservation for our party of 9 that had some family in town visiting. We all had such a lovely time and enjoyed our meals (and delightful desserts). Our server did an excellent job paying attention to detail while being wonderfully kind and amiable. The kitchen was impressive as they were able to execute multiple changes to a dish to accommodate some significant food allergies, so much so that the dish technically wasnt on the menu but they did each change anyway while taking care to make the dish delicious still. We were all impressed with the overall experience and will definitely be back! Dietary restrictions: Kitchen bent over backwards to accommodate, was very grateful!

The food and service is always good at Browns, but the acoustics always suck, you either need to yell at your lunch partners or use Bluetooth headsets to hold a conversation.

Food is always delicious and the atmosphere is nice. Service later in the evenings tends to be inattentive. One star off for the food prices, which are pretty high even for Victoria standards, and one star off for the generally mediocre service, but the food does hit the spot.

Worth every penny, and I personally would recommend anyone looking for a quality dine-out experience, be it with family or just a night with friends, stop by Browns in Langford. Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, as well as vegan and celiac options! Dietary restrictions: Several of my friends, including myself have various limitations on the food we can eat, ranging from various allergies, celiac, regulating calorie intake for body building competitions, and simply just picky eaters; the servers always seem to have recommendations despite, and if they dont the wonderful chefs always find a way to leave us satisfied! Parking: A shared parking lot with a small plaza occasionally makes parking a challenge, especially on the weekends, but there is overflow parking behind the plaza so long as youre okay with the short walk. Kid-friendliness: Despite the centralized bar, Browns is still an excellent place for the family to enjoy a nice dinner. Seating on their covered patio is much more calm than in the restaurant itself, but the experience is one and the same. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and lots of available seating for wheelchair-bound individuals!

This place was simple superb. The food was great and the service was awesome too. We had the Nachos and the lettuce wrap. The nachos was just a treat and was perfect. The lettuce wrap was very flavourful too. Will definitely be back to try out more from this place.

It was great. We had planned on going to bin 4. However, they told us it was going to be a half-hour wait. So we went down the street to browns, and they sat us right away. Super friendly, super delicious. So I hope this review gets browns more business! Because Ill probably wait if they are too busy next time I want to go. Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful with my food restrictions and selection. Also, they have gluten-free options marked on the menu. Just the right atmosphere

My only gripe, was that the servers overlapped us. They kept checking on us and it felt as if they were doing it a little too often. Like we had taken our first 2 bites of our food and someone asked us how everything was lol Great service otherwise though. Maybe give more sour cream when we ask for extra. The bill was less than 50 bucks. My wife loves the nachos, I always come for the quesadilla. Overall, 4 stars. Just under perfect. But again, let the person enjoy the meal before asking them how it is lol

Unbelievably the best and most delicious Beef Dip I ve ever had. Got the salad instead of fries and it was amazing too. Highly recommend that meal that these folks have mastered. Thanks for an awesome meal - we will be back!!!

I recently dined at Brown Social House and wanted to share my experience. Overall, my visit had its ups and downs, with some aspects of the meal being enjoyable while others fell short of expectations. Lets start with the positives. The steak frites that I ordered were delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The accompanying fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish and would highly recommend it to steak lovers. However, my friend s experience with the chicken dish was disappointing. The chicken was excessively salty, making it difficult to savor the flavors. When we brought this to the attention of our attentive waitress, she was quick to respond and offered to replace the chicken breast with a grilled alternative. Regrettably, the replacement chicken breast had a bitter taste, which was equally unappetizing. At that point, we decided to abandon the chicken dish, brought it home and see how we can make it edible. It was unfortunate that the second attempt to rectify the issue did not yield a satisfactory outcome. One area that could use improvement is the attention given to the grill. It seems there was an issue with burnt substances on the grill, which affected the taste of the chicken. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to pay closer attention to this aspect of their cooking process to ensure consistent quality across all dishes. Despite the issues with the chicken dish and the grill, the overall experience at Brown Social House was decent. The attentive service provided by our waitress was commendable, and the steak frites were a standout. However, the inconsistent quality of the chicken dish and the presence of burnt substances on the grill detracted from the overall dining experience. I hope that Brown Social House takes this feedback constructively and addresses the areas that need improvement. With some adjustments, the restaurant has the potential to provide consistently excellent meals to its patrons.

I usually dont post a ton of reviews but I was absolutely shocked at the portion size I received when I ordered the fried chicken ramen. The amount of chicken was ridiculously small. Not only was the portion small the chicken almost looked grey (as seen in the photo). I cant believe the kitchen thought this was ok to send out. The ramen it self had an ok flavour but fairly bland. Not worth 23 dollars..

There, my friend and I had a delicious meal. Along with fish and chips, we had an Alfredo. They recommended to bring both meals in two portions since we wanted to share, which we really appreciated. There is no doubt that we will return and make even more unforgettable memories. Vegetarian options: They had vegeterian meals.

Stopped by Browns Social House recently and heres the lowdown: The beer is exactly what youd expect from a good tap fresh, with a nice taste that tells you theyre keeping their kegs in top condition. As for the food, its average, but sometimes thats exactly what youre in the mood for. No culinary fireworks, but solid, reliable choices that hit the spot. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a great spot to unwind, and the service was precisely as expected - efficient and friendly without being overbearing. While nothing blew me away as spectacular, theres really nothing to complain about either. A good choice for a casual evening out.
