Food took 45 minutes after ordering and came out luke warm. Seemed like they were understaffed both front and back of house.

Crazy good perogies and saurkraut.

Great service, and the pierogi are Polish-man approved. The base pierogi are absolutely delicious, and their other flavors only build on the delicious dough and filling choices. Also the owner has great musical insight, the staff are great people to chat with and made our visit that much more enjoyable. Leah was great to us as well :)

35 min later still dont have my take out order .... After being told it would be 15 min .... Come back to take my order , they ignore me to give my order in my hand without saying anything about the delay ....... Hope its good for the wait .... After tipped , Im not sure I would again in other restaurants cause of experience like this when you are polite . Awful service . Dont go there for a quick take out

This New Canadian restaurant is a pure delight! The staff are friendly the atmosphere is rustic and unique and the food is amazing! They are always playing cool music. I have been numerous times and Im determined to try everything on the menu as everything Ive had so far has been a hit!

Food was great! Service on the other hand probably the worst I ve had in my 5 years in Victoria. Only 2 servers for the place so I kinda understand but right as we walked in the person seating us was unwelcoming & had a very cold approach, followed by another server who made it seem inconvenient to them that we were dining there, and was reluctant to ask if we wanted more drinks/food more than once. Thankfully, the food was LOADED with flavour!

I asked a victoria local what the best restaurant was in the area and he immediately said Sult Pierogi Bar. After eating I can see why, the food was creative, fun, delicious, and came out fast, the service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere felt welcoming and local. Would absolutely come again.

Food is amazing and the best shaft in Victoria. Hands down. Been many times and every time is delicious. Went for my birthday and they had a seasonal smore shaft on the menu and they lit the marshmallow on fire before serving.

Service was great, food was decent enough...thought it would have tasted better personally. Also it was way too hot in there...felt like we were going to melt! Need to get some A/C in the summer

OMG had that perogie plate with Yorkshire pudding with beef ribs stuffed inside with asparagus. I wasnt even that hungry it just sounded really good. Despite the enormous serving I was practically licking my plate clean it was so awesome. Would I recommend it? Um... Hell ya without question

The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! The sausage gravy on the poutine is very flavourful. We had the Squeaks, Hulk Smash, Montreal, and Twentyfour-Seven pierogis. The Twentyfour-Sevens were my favorite. The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. It was wonderful getting to chat with the owner and hear his inspiration for the restaurant!

Ive been here several times - its one of my favorite restaurants in Victoria. For any pierogi lover, this is the place for you! They nail the mix off soft and crispy texture. Experiment with flavors that rotate and often knock it out of the park. Their bacon is to die for! Really amazing selection of vegan options too, for those who are interested. The prices went up but theyre still reasonable. Ill be back again and again...

Had an absolutely amazing pierogi poutine that definitely went above the bar for what Ive gotten in poutine gravy in any other restaurant in Canada (all of whom unfortunately use starchy/plant-based gravies that ruin the entire dish). Unfortunately though, 2 of the 9 pierogies I ordered with it were the wrong variety and werent to my taste... that doesnt matter though! It was, with no other words to describe it, DELECTABLE. I would give it no less than 5 stars even if they messed up part of the order. I quite literally cleaned the plate.

Been wanting to try this place out for a while now and the wait was worth it. Not many places out there doing pierogis and definitely not many doing them this good. I really enjoyed my meal here, I got the Nah Bros and it was fantastic! It tasted amazing, I just wish I had ordered the bigger size because I ate it so fast. Ill definitely return to try out other items on the menu. Such a great place!

Funky groovy cool. Our order took a while but service was very attentive so yeah, the kitchen was backed up for one reason or another. Food delish.

The Hulk is our favourite but every time we visit theres something new to try- and its always amazing. The creativity and culinary skills are obvious. They love the food they cook & have a lot of fun with it. Sult is our go to & the #1 place I recommend to visitors. The menu suits Im peckish to Im so hungry I could eat a horse. Perogies are the main attraction, delicious and reasonably priced. Stopped in for a quick lunch and the service was prompt and attentive. Look forward to going back for dinner to try some of the other exciting things on the menu that incorporate perogies in creative ways, like the red green show with perogies, prawns and Thai green curry!

Fabulous happy hour. Poutine was awesome. I would only add more green onions. But I love them. Friendly staff and very clean.

Went here for lunch with our kid before heading out to catch our flight. We sat at the bar as all tables were busy. We all had different items, beet salad, poutine perogies and a tomb stoned. We all agreed it was great food. As a plus I like how they left a bottle of water so we could self serve. Keep up the great food as your first priority and guests as second priority because if the food is great the guests will be happy.

Their perogies are EXCELLENT. They should expand the perogy menu, since the flavor options are relatively limited. Everything else on the menu (hotdogs, meatballs, etc) range from forgettable to not-so-great.

It was just okay the service was very friendly and accommodating. Food was quick however, it just didn t taste that great to me and my company. The yam fries came with the tiniest dipping serving and the perogues weren t much to write home to. The drinks were VERY expensive and overall it was a disappointment. Absolutely delicious food and good vibes as always, however, we got seated around 6:20pm and were not told kitchen closed at 7pm, we assumed it closed at 8pm because that is what google says. Would be great if they either told any tables seated within an hour of the kitchen closing what time the kitchen closes at or update the hours based upon when kitchen closes. I was originally planning on coming closer to 7 and would have hated to not have been seated cause of this. Besides that 100/10 food and drinks always leave here absolutely stuffed.

If you are in the mood for a pierogi, it is great. Not a lot of other options though.

As a group of 6, we all graded it as poor. Tough dough for sure and the combos were weird. Rude server, dirty apron! 3/4 of the plates were not eaten and not worthy of a tip. We are all Polish or Ukrainian so we know what we are talking about.

Awesome!!! Great service, great food. We enjoyed the perogis and the beet salad a lot, but the highlight was the locally made sausage which just blows other sausages out of the water on flavor. Not a big fan of the meatballs. They were fried, I think, and had kind of a crunchy crust. They were also on the larger side and a little dry inside. I prefer a smaller, more succulent meatball with less of a crust, ymmv. Would definitely go again for the sausage and the perogis!!

The Pierogi Parmesan Meat Lovers is fire. $24, but still so good. I love a good cheese skirt. Yurrski. That double cheeseburger with the pierogis on it though, I d skip that one cause it was just too much meat, the ratio was off.

Well, I m Polish so my expectations are high and this place sadly did not meet them. Perogies were ok but mostly bland. Our kids menu was $9 for 3 perogies were most cost $4.50 for 3 . So not sure Why the mark up? If it was the Added cheese and bacon it was just scraps and not worth more than .50 cents. Anyways, not sure I m coming back. Btw, best deal was a jug of beer for $21!!

Ordered the Pierogi Sampler, Dude Wheres My Diner?, Pierogi Poutine, Borscht, and the Hulk Smash Pierogis. Every single bite of all the dishes was fantastic. The pierogi sampler was delicious, a little bit of everything for the indecisive or curious, like myself. The hulk smash pierogis were so tasty I had to order more! A little spice with every bite Dude wheres my diner? was everything French toast, buffalo chicken, pierogis could be. The bacon confit was a beautiful touch, the cream cheese complimented everything nicely, and the jalapeño-bacon chutney tied it all together. I cannot say enough good things about this dish The borscht was to die for. It was rich and smooth, the cabbage and beets played beautifully together and every bite was a treat. Finally, the poutine was also very good I highly recommend a stop here for whatever tickles your fancy!! My only complaint was sold out hats! I was very much looking forward to being a tourist and promoting my favorite pierogi bar! Oh well, this works too!!

Very much enjoyed a recent visit and service. Odd that they ran out of white wine (early) that night. Somewhat disappointed by inconsistent sear on pierogies and extremely tough exterior to otherwise tasty meatballs (maybe intentional?). Sauerkraut bland (Ive actually made better at home). Apparently we missed news of the sour cream shortage; we were allotted a few thimbles full. Confusing menu; many ways to order the same thing but at different prices. Pierogi flavors very successful. Caesar cocktail very good.

Tldr: The pierogies are over priced, but good. I ordered a classic Caesar, and a pierogi poutine. The Caesar was fantastic. The poutine less so. The pierogies themselves were great, but the cheese curds were mediocre. The gravy was cold and flavorless. On top of this, many menu items we ordered were not available. The service was awful. We had to ask whenever we wanted water, and the staff only came over to tell us that what we ordered was unavailable. Maybe the reason for this was because we were a group of 8, so there was a mandatory 20% gratuity?

The pierogis here were tasty enough; an order of squeaks was finished quickly, although surprisingly lacking a bit in terms of flavor. I would recommend branching out to the more adventurous options as I imagine they would be a bit more exciting. Im not sure I would personally search out this place again during a visit to Victoria, but I think there is plenty to enjoy here and the spacious, casual dining area should be able to accommodate larger parties easily enough. Papas poutinerie was excellent as well and my favorite part of the meal.

Wow! I was looking for a place with good poutine, and I sure did find it! Theyve got several versions of Canadas national dish. I chose the spicy one. Great taste, great heat. Good selection of Canadian beers and the atmosphere was great.

Absolutely phenomenal, authentic borsch! I dont think Ive ever even seen borsch on a menu, and had very very low expectations but was at least hoping itd be somewhat similar to the real deal - It. Was. Spot. On. Amazing!

Best pierogi Ive had! Thin wrap, creative and tasty stuffing, pan-fried to crispy perfection! Small plates at a reasonable price, so we were able to try a couple of different flavors, even when we were not very hungry. The server recommended their most popular options: hulk smash and 24/7 both were very good!

We went there on a Friday night while out on the town. Its a great place to go for a drink and get some unique flavored pierogies. I would like to know how it is for lunch.

Really good! We came here for a late night eat an hour or two before closing. Staff was super nice and accommodating and food was really good! I have a lot of dietary restrictions/allergies and they had food I could eat without any negative reaction! Great playlist playing too!

This is the absolute best restaurant. Service was 10/10, food was 10/10 amazing. We talked about selling our place and moving closer so we could eat here more often. Keem was the best server and made sure we had everything we needed. Any time we are back in Victoria, we will absolutely be back.

We had Sult Pierogi Bar do the catering for our work christmas party. The food was great and the meal worked well for the many different food preferences our people had I would recommend for a function that needs a great meal.

Probably the best meal out I ve had all year. The Parmesan Pierogie plate had delicious bites of various things and the flavours worked great. I stuffed myself accidentally it was so good and can t wait to go back and try more of the dishes.
