Asian Noodle House is definitely a go-to for fresh, quality and well portioned Chinese food! My favourites are beef and broccoli, ginger beef, and their house special fried rice. Whenever I have a craving I automatically order these things. I have yet to try other things on the menu as I m obsessed with these. The rice comes loaded with goodies and it s amazing how much they stuff the container with! The ginger beef is so crispy and flavourful. The beef and broccoli is oozing with saucy goodness! It is just take out, so it s such a great comfort at home meal!

Ordered Beef Chow Fun. It was so overcooked the noodles were disintegrating. It was terrible.

We ordered 1 shezwan beef, 1 chicken shezwan and 1 veg style chowmine. All noodles were soaked in sweet chilli sauce and toped with a lot of vegetables with less meat. Waste of money and awful taste. Please dont eat here. Disappoinment is assured in this place.

Ive been curious about the food here for a while and after ordering the spicy chicken noodle soup and the Korean style noodles I can confidently say that the food here is trash. Medium spice is bland, barely any flavor. The chicken is not real meat at all. If it is, it worse than McDonald s quality. It visually doesn t even look like real meat. All the veggies in noodles and soup are overcooked where they are almost mush!

I realise it was New Years Eve but, when you phone earlier in the day to have it ready for a certain time then you have to wait outside for 10 mins just to get in and pay then wait for another 1/2 for the meal to be ready. Meanwhile they are still taking orders. Really bad planning and I will not be going there again.

We ordered food eRly for a later pick up. When we arrived food not ready..had to line up ,pay for food thrn line up again for pick up. We waited 45 min. Food was good. But not a good system

The fried rice is super bland. Wonton soup is too salty. This is not authentic Chinese food. They dont have dine-in service anymore. Its just a counter taking orders and the dining room is just storage.

First time ordering from this place it wasnt horrible but it wasnt stellar either. The delivery was prompt for the Wonton Soup and Szechuan chow mein. The Wontons were pretty fantastic but the broth was lacking, there was a single piece of broccoli that just took up space. The Szechuan chow mein was unexpectedly sweet, decent spice, however I was hoping for a more savoury option. I wish their menu had descriptions so that you could more of an informed decision. Noodles were soggy and falling apart by the end. The portions were sizeable and good value for your money, veggies were crisp and fresh. Ill give it another try another time.

You cant go wrong with this menu. We typically get a selection including Crispy Ginger Chicken, House Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, Beef Chow Fun, Dry Garlic Pork, Deep Fried Prawn, War Wonton, egg roll. We have tried many other lovely things on the menu and they were all delicious. These are our favourites.

we dont try anything special, but what we order we like it. always get their food twice a year. on our anniversary (28th now) and wifes birthday. we have done that for probably 20 years. everyone has different tastes, but for us they are the best in westshore.

They got me hooked just from egg rolls. Their chicken chow mein, honey garlic pork, and cashew chicken are always delicious.

I ve been so good. Eating healthy exercising not drinking. But it s my 45th birthday. So I asked for a treat Ginger beef broccoli and beef tofu and mixed veg and wings. I was so looking forward to crispy fried ginger beef. Unfortunately this was the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth. And not kidding, just gross. Thankfully the broccoli and beef was great. Wings on the other hand were small dry and scored a 2 on the flavor scale. Unfortunately this isn t our first disappointment with the Asian noodle House. We have ordered noodles multiple times and the vegetables seem to be getting less and less in the orders. The quality has gone down hill in the last few years. This was our last attempt at a great meal here.

Dinner for two is $40. Why is it priced so ludacris?

First time ordering and definitely not the last. We enjoyed all of it. The spring rolls are amazing but a little overpriced at 2.75 each and they are small. We got chow mein, fried rice, beef and broccoli and s+s chicken balls, so delicious! Used Door Dash and it arrived quick.

Finally! Moved down here a few years ago to the valley. Up our way there has been nothing but disappointment in the Chineese Food game. Asian Noodle House was great. Everything seemed fresh. Noodles and rice wernt oily. All the sauces on the dishes were full of flavor. Will be our go to when we are in the area. Well done.

I was looking forward to eating here. Took the scenic drive to it only to find out it is closed due to holidays. Too bad it didn t say here that they would be away until July 27/23.

If I was to build the best north American take out Chinese food meal in the West Shore. I would order the chow mein from here. It had a good ratio of noodles to bean sprouts and was well flavored. Other than that I cant say the rest of the dinner for one I got was great.

Ive been trying to stay on track eating well, working out, and avoiding drinks. So, I decided to treat myself and ordered a bunch of stuff: ginger beef, broccoli and beef, tofu with mixed veggies, and some wings. I was really looking forward to that crispy ginger beef, but honestly, it turned out to be the worst thing Ive ever tasted. Im not kidding, it was just gross. Luckily, the broccoli and beef dish was pretty good. On the other hand, the wings were small, dry, and barely had any flavor its like a 2 out of 10 situation. Sadly, this isnt the first time weve been let down by the Asian Noodle House. Weve ordered their noodles multiple times, and it seems like theyre skimping more and more on the veggies with each order. The quality has definitely gone downhill over the past few years. This was our last attempt to get a good meal from there.

I love the people at this restaurant. And the food is great. But the prices have skyrocketed so much that I don t even order from here anymore. I 100% get that food prices have risen, but the rise in cost doesn t match the increases. It really sucks as I would order so much more with reasonable prices, but now instead of ordering fairly often, now I am not ordering at all. I wish them all the best, but I cant justify the prices.

Sooooo.....first time ordering and eating after hearing good things about the place. And we just kept forgetting to order there, and would drop by QF and get their takeout, which is ok... BUT then we finally did it! We order from the mysterious Asian Noodle House....AND it was VERY good. The chow mein noodles were almost perfect (I mean whos perfect right?) And the teriyaki chicken had LOTs of chicken and the veggies were tender with a bit of crisp to them which is great. The wonton was great but just throw in some green onion for colour otherwise very tasty. Oh and lest I forget, the dinner for 2 should be called Dinner for 2 Nights! Lots of food, and we ate alot. So thank you ANH for the sneak attack food which was a 5/5!

Ginger beef has a nice texture and flavor. My wife and kid liked the rice dish, but Im not sure on the mystery meat in the supposed chicken dishes. Overall did not enjoy and wont be eating here again

Weve ordered 3 or 4 times from them now and every time it was GREAT FOOD. Fresh crisp vegis...and great quality selections of meat also. Great quality for your money. Even the leftovers the next day tasted great. I would highly recommend the Asian Noodle House to all my friends & family.

The food at this place used to be so good before and during Covid lockdown period but the quality has become bad now. I took different items from them, twice, in last one month but the taste is bad. Very bland and like boiled food just mixed with a common gravy ( without any spices) and served. Teriyaki chicken or sweet sour chicken, almost same taste with less chicken and more veggies filled in. Chowmein is like plain boiled noodles. Seems either their chef has changed or they are into cost cutting! Wont recommend anymore.

Service is horrible got hung up on twice then yelled at. If I could put zero stars I would, but that wasn t an option.

Hung up on twice while ordering the lady who answered didn t know how to use the phone and was very rude which in turn made me be rude back We were trying to order delivery they didn t take our address and then when I called the third time after being hung up on she was very rude and argumentative We will never order there again

We were very disappointed! We ordered out a huge order so we could try a variety of their foods. The flavours were okay at best. Deep fried prawns were terrible, they had too much batter! The chicken chow mein was flavourless. For a family that loves wonton soup, each of us ended up pouring ours out. Service was good though, but sadly the food was not.

We were pleasantly surprised! We ordered chicken Chinese chow mein, sweet & sour chicken balls, sweet & sour pork, wonton soup, egg roll, & Almond chicken. The food was so good! Chow mein was full of flavour, the chicken balls were moist and not crunchy, the pork was tender, wonton soup was delicious and not salty! Really really good!

Authentic delicious food

Food is solid but they always severely under estimate how long it will take for the order to be done. 45 minutes? Means 60. 60? Well that means 90. Honestly would rather them just be upfront with wait times and I d give them a higher rating.

We ve been ordering the dinner for four for years. I love the option for wonton or spring roll. And it s solid every time! I read through some of the reviews and I was surprised to see some of the 1 star reviews. Maybe it s just what was ordered that sucked? Who knows. All I know is the dinner for four is amazing. We will order it everytime we re craving some Chinese food. Highly recommend

Food is fantastic; this is our go to place for Chinese food on the Island. Besides the recently closed Dragon Gate (still really sad that the staple of Oak Bay is no more), the other restaurants fail in comparison. However; my reason for not giving a full 5 stars is the wait times. And whatever times you are given; add an additional 25-50% of that time. This includes pick-up as well as delivery. As some have said; I wish they would give honest wait times. Clearly if this is constantly happening, theyre aware of the actual time it takes for the food to be prepared. The owner can sound kind of rude on the phone sometimes, but its just two people that run all the orders, so I think its just stress in the busy hours and I dont think its meant.

The best food to date the sweet a sour sauce was spot on. The pork crispy but tender. Beef and broccoli was favoured perfectly. And not over cooked. I hight recommend these people. But my only concern is customer service on the phone.

Best Chinese food

Avoid this place at all costs. My family and I innocently ordered from them. After eating the food we were all sick. Our 5 year old contracted food poisoning and she was sick for a whole week with vomiting and diarrhea. I suspect this place is one of those Asain restaurants that doesnt follow the proper sanitary procedures.

My husband and I stopped here after a craving struck us. It was cold and rainy outside and we were feeling pretty hangry and chilly, so we were COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by how quickly the delicious food arrived. We got Wor Wonton Soup to share, he ordered Korean Spicy Noodle with Combination meat and I ordered Japanese Spicy Udon with Beef. We were halfway through with our bowl of soup before our entrees arrived. The service was great, and the restaurant itself was tidy and pretty quiet. Theyre also available on Skip the Dishes! We will definitely give them more of our money!

I recently ordered from them and became ill, so did my whole family. I checked the VIHA website and they had a recent inspection with a critical violation: no sanitizer found in their dishwasher. Never will I order from them again. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

Great food great prices and quick for take out

First time. Arrived just as they opened on Saturday noon. Menu is comprehensive without being overwhelming, prices reasonable service fast and friendly, the food was outstanding. Wor wonton soup, sesame honey chicken and beef chow mein .large servings piping hot and oh so good. Will be back for sure!

I only ever order the shrimp egg rolls for pickup. They are delicious. The staff have never really been very friendly though. Edit. Called today to order the egg rolls and they no longer contain shrimp. No substitution for the shrimp just no shrimp. Also the price stayed the same. Not impressed. Wont be going back I guess...

We ordered from there twice. The first time they double charged my girlfriend and it was a headache to get our money back. The second time I ordered chicken rice and chicken wings, and the chicken wings were missing out of the two items that we had!!!

Best crispy ginger fried beef ever!

I m not sure how this place keeps its doors open. I ordered 4 dishes for takeout and they were the most bland, flavorless examples of Chinese cooking I have ever come across. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was the worst Asian food I have ever had anywhere. It was bland and flavorless, drenched in grease. My stomach took 24 hours to recover, and the leftovers were tossed out. Could not be paid enough to do this again.

Tasty, Tasty, Tasty! I cant find anywhere else thats half as tasty in the area. The Sweet and Sour Pork is actually crunchy and flavorful. Love the option of Wonton soup or Spring rolls. A lot of places manage to make dry, tasteless chow mein. Its usually the last leftover dish eaten, but not with the Asian Noodle House! So glad they are still open during Covid-19!

Can you say YUMMMMM?! Holy we loved this food so much! We picked up, did have to a little longer than we expected, but thought it was well worth it. Don t get scared off by the kinda sketchy outside. It was delisshhhhh!

MSG WARNING!!! I gave 4 stars because they have good service an the food is good. Lost one star because what looked and tasted like MSG was sprinkled on my dry garlic pork. I took for granted that the restaurant owners understand that most people dont want MSG and I had not asked them to omit it. They were very friendly and answered questions about the menu. I think this place is great and I would recommend them but if you are sensitive to MSG remember to ask to not have it put on your food. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the MSG.

The menu is on line but you cannot order on line, you still need to call your order in. I called on Sunday of the long weekend and my order waa ready for pickup within 25 min.
