An combination of new-fashioned and traditional Chinese rice noodle restaurant.
Doesn't look much from the outside but a surprisingly warm and pleasant interior. Friendly service. Dan Dan Noodles are THE thing for a blustery November day. Fresh and tasty and satisfying. Well worth a visit. Note: I saw another review claiming the food was over-salted. That was not the case with our two plates. They were seasoned just right. No, I'm not a smoker.
Cute noodle shop. The noodle soup was okay. I tried the beef brisket one. It was around $19 CAD.
Both the wonton rice noodles and the beef brisket rice noodles were way too salty. The wrappers of the wontons were dry, probably pre-prepared for too long. The service was fine.
Had a great experience here! The service was wonderful, and staff were very kind!!!! And even pointed out the wontons were not veggie after noticing the veggie hotpot was ordered. The food was delicious! We ordered, the vegan hot pot, veggie dumplings, delicate vegetables, taro scallion pancake. The food was well flavoured and not overly salty for the most part The inside was cute, my only wish was the music playing inside wasn’t radio music. Something a little more authentic to the vibe of the restaurant would really elevate the experience
I’ve never had Guilin noodles before, and it was definitely a unique flavor to try! The portions are quite large, even sharing this with my partner, we couldn’t finish all the noodles. I happened to notice the same with other tables where all the toppings & meat were gone but there was still a pile of noodles left. We also tried the spicy wontons, pork dumplings, and cucumber salad. Everything had different flavors than I expected, but probably cause I typically have only eaten Szechuan or Hunan style Chinese food. The service & ambiance were okay. Nothing stuck out to me, but I’m glad I tried something new and it’s fun to see a restaurant with such a unique style of cuisine.
I’m updating my review, this is my umpteenth time here and it gets better and better!! How have I never visited his amazing establishment until 2024, it’s a hidden gem that needs to stay this way forever so I can enjoy it all to myself! The Dan Dan Noodles were off the chart amazing and seasoned perfectly, fried potatoes were little bites of heaven and the pan fried gyozas were some of the best I’ve had - and I’ve eaten a lot of dumplings in Asia! The service was polite, not overbearing and a perfect vibe to arch the environment. And the establishment was spotlessly clean, which for me, is a must in a restaurant. I can’t wait to go for a 2nd visit!! Finally the service is some of the best I’ve ever had, amazing doesn’t begin to describe it :$
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Victoria always offers delicious food and great service! I tried two new kinds of chicken, and my friends and I were all very satisfied and loved it. We will definitely come back for them again
had dinner along twice here in April, wasn't busy at all. Their #1 Gui Lin Rice Noodle combo was delicious & very satisfying, better than the Dan Dan Combo in my opinion. Will definitely come again with family. The interiors is well decorated, and some seating area were scarified for deco items, respect that. Room to improve: was struggling with the delicate straw and milk tea drink cup a bit, :)
The beef stew hotpot noodle is really amazing if you like spicy, authentic Chinese food.
Declious and comforting especially on rainy days. Lovely staff. My go to is the vegetarian Momi Mix rice noodle soup!
Delicious, authentic noodles! Lots of soup options, some you cant find anywhere else. Friendly service and good seating.
Food was honestly terrible. Both the noodle and dumplings were the worst. Dumplings were not even cooked. 4.4 review is very overrated
What a wonderful place, where you can eat soup. Everything is so tasty and so rich! Great cute place to get soup. Everything is very tasty and SOOO much! A great nice place to eat soup. Everything is very tasty and sooo much!
The food was crazy salty and I have a high sodium tolerance. Besides that there was nothing exciting about our food. We ordered pan fried dumplings, the chili dumplings, popcorn chicken, dan dan noodles , a mixed veggie salad and a cucumber salad. Our waiter was nice though.
Lovely spot for dine in. Love their soup noodle.
Guilin rice noodles are delicious and standard. The boss is very young and the store decoration has an artistic atmosphere. You can also buy paintings on the walls. Whats even more interesting is that the bosss wife graduated from the philosophy department and cooks with her soul. If you have a chance, we can talk about life.
Could be a off day for them but the food tasted terrible. I would not recommend it because everything we ordered was not good. Cute restaurant tho.
The rice noodles are not bad. Compared to rice noodles, fried rice is average and more expensive than rice noodles. It is not recommended to eat fried rice at this restaurant.
Loved the Guilin noodles :) very authentic!
Delicious, Guilin rice noodle set and braised pork rice noodle are both delicious
We really enjoyed the food. The noddles were very tasty and the brith was not too salty. The boba was not that great.
Food is pretty good, but dont expect to get what you order on the menu. They bring out what they want, what they have cooked, or whatever the cook feels like giving you. Then when you ask about it the response is were out of beef, peanuts, bamboo shoots, and soy beans so we substituted chicken, potatoes, green onions and capers. Enjoy!
Delicious!!! We were a party of 10 and all of us loved what we ordered
The food was very tasty. The place was extremely busy but the service was still pretty good despite that. Reasonably priced. My only complaint is that my meal was a little oily. Im not familiar with this kind of food though so that might have been my fault for ordering an oily dish, Im not sure. Overall I really liked the place and would definitely go back.
Do not get the slushy! Its barely flavored Ice, with big chunks of Ice too for a really expensive Price. Highly disappointed
Fantastic food. Would come back
Fantastic noodles. This isnt your typical Chinese restaurant nor noodle place. Much more authentic, great noodles and combo dishes. Tastes just like when I lived in China Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free options - they specialize in rice noodles!
Very delicious and complex flavors. Staff was incredibly kind and friendly.
Great stop for some delicious food with a very pleasant atmosphere. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but it s very nice in the inside.
On my last night here in Victoria, I m so glad we had dinner at this restaurant. The food was terrific, the atmosphere was just right and the service was terrific. Every dish that my girlfriend and I had were amazing.
One of the greatest restaurants I ve visited in the city, incredible food, quick and kind service. I invite all my friends here and try to spread the word as much as possible, it s a rare gem!! Vegetarian options: Decent amount of vegetarian and pescatarian options
That s just a little bit of beef for 13 dollars
Small portion, expensive, not recommended
Ordered a couple milk teas to go. They were great! Got normal sweetness and our teas were flavorful but not sickeningly sweet like most other bubble tea places make them. And for the size you get, which is a pretty big cup, the price is quite good (in USD it was about $5.25 per tea). Photo for size reference (they fill it almost to the very top).
The waitress is nice, the music is good and the meal is delicious!
Very expensive and very tiny portions.I paid 10$ for like 5 pieces of dry tasting meat. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this restaurant.
The food was so good! Highly recommended! Very well serviced! Very traditional taste ! just home! Located in heart of Victoria Chinatown! So much better than Vancouver China town. I feel shameful for Vancouver city how they manage our Chinatown!
Got the Fragrant Spicy Chicken and Potato pot. Incredible flavours and polite and friendly service staff.
The food is just so so, to an Asian people like me, this is not the best Taiwanese/Chinese food I have tasted. The dumpling is the worst, the side dish are the best.
I like the decoration of this store, the environment is very quiet and comfortable. food is also delicious
lovely restaurant, tasty food and good price.
Delicious rice noodles, hot and sour
Delicious, plenty of portions, and good service. On average, I have to wait half an hour or more before I can eat every time I come here. I hope this can be improved.
Loved the veggie hot and sour noodles! With the soup and their recommended way of eating it, really felt like two getting two meals! Super underrated spot in Victoria.
ordered every time I come, its really delicious
The new beef stew hot pot is 90% made of unpalatable fatty meat and has no taste. It is the most expensive dish and I feel very speechless! The beef stew pot is 90% flavourless fatty meat that I can hardly swallow it and it is not worthy! (There is no personal subjective exaggeration in the above)
My friend brought me in when I was visiting her in BC. LOVE their cute little space! The rice noodles are delicious, and the side dishes are also very Chinese, highly recommended.
This meal should only be found in heaven, how many times can it be eaten in the human world. Delicious~
The rice noodles are smooth and delicious, the pigs trotters are soft and glutinous, and the milk tea is also good.
Yummy food!
Very good food and nice service !
The noodle is amazing, the side plate is very special, good taste.
I was surprised by the quantity of food, the noodle I bought looks like it is for baby.
Only a handful of times have a eaten food that has blown me away to the level that Momi Noodle did. I ordered the Guilin Marinade Noodle and Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and I completely cleaned my plate, leaving myself a little too full but more satisfied than I have felt in years. I was a little disappointed that the popcorn chicken didn t come with crispy basil leaves, but as Momi isn t a Taiwanese restaurant, I ll give it a slide, it was very crispy and delicious nonetheless. The marinated noodle was the star of the show though. The brisket was crispy and tender, as was the pork belly crunchy and juicy. The noodles were perfectly al dente and when they mean marinated they truly mean it and they had a depth of flavour that was divine. The add-ons took everything to a different level though, particularly the fermented green beans! Lastly the broth that came with the noodles had a marvellous depth of flavour that soothed me to my core! This was my first visit but will hardly be my last.
My noodles had all this for 13.50. I am very impressed. Very tasty.
A shop with a very authentic taste, the small plates and rice noodles complement each other perfectly. Awesome! Very authentic! I really like the small dishes and rice noddles together!
We were very disappointed by our first dine in experience here. The photos online are misleading. For the price you paid you d expect a larger portion of meat but it was all small shredded pieces for $20. The broth was cold and very salty, there s no real flavour. One set of noodles was very soggy. For the price we paid it was very steep, not worth the money we paid. Won t be coming back.
For one adult and one child, the quantity is very large. We cant stop eating, really tasty for us
Burnt potatoes, spicy taste, and a piece of meat, this is definitely a magic weapon for dinner, super delicious
Rice noodles are ok. The handwriting is completely tasteless
A perfect day starts with a good breakfast and ends with a delicious dinner. I really like the rice noodles and snacks at this restaurant.
Loved the food and experience. The beef pancake made me homesick for Beijing.
The taste is very good, the soup is rich, a paradise for meat lovers, it is unstoppable
My favorite braised pork rice is so delicious! must be ordered!
Too too slow...
Hot and sour, the fish is tender and delicious
They are so disgusting, the kitchen staff would play with the rice noodles spinning around in their hands when they were free! The boss also asked the employees to take the basins containing the ingredients and wash them with rags. And one time the fried dumplings were not cooked at all and the meat was pink. The boss said that this is how their meat is meant to be. They are so disgusting that the kitchen staff circle rice noodles around their hands when they are free! The boss also asked the staff to wash the dish cloths with the ingredients. And once the dumplings were not cooked at all, and the meat was pink. The boss said that their meat was just like that.
There aren t many takeaways you can order on the island. This is my favorite restaurant. It s exquisite, affordable, and delicious.
Great food , nice taste, nice setting
I had a delicious hotpot on the weekend. It was full of color and aroma, and the spicy kick was perfectly blended with the softness and aroma of the meat.
This place is such a gem, food is delicious and was such a good deal!
Went here for hot pot with pork knuckles once and it was delicious but forgot to bring my phone to do a proper review. Revisiting today for their pork belly rice noodles plus pork knuckles. Delicious and filling. The server was very prompt. Definitely recommended for a decent meal to enjoy. Parking: On street parking or Centennial Square Parkade. If youre opting for the latter, keep your eye out for 1st hour free parking stalls
Nice food, solid vegetarian options. Staff went out of their way to accommodate us!
Cute rice noodle place close to Chinatown, only downside is that the food was served a little bit cold
Dan Dan noodles are delicious!
I was really surprised by the fact that this place has so many good reviews. Me and my partner never had such a tasteless Chinese dish. We had wonton soup which tasted like water and bullion cube and dan dan which tasted like spicy express soup. Food
Although it is different from our Yunnan rice noodles, Hua rice noodles are still my childhood memories. They are full of texture and delicious!
Amazing! A lot of vegetarian options!!!! The flavours were like an explosion, between their house made chilli oil to the their fresh scallions, and even to there amazing variety s of boba and plain tea. They also had great condiments like dried soy beans and spicy bamboo that came on the side of their ramen. Their servings platters were also beautiful! And to add to all of this, they have a different kind of noodle for their ramen. It is a bit thicker and more filling. But, there s even more, the service was top notch and was very nice and seemed more like a friend than a waiter. To conclude, if you are thinking about going there, just do it!!! Vegetarian options: Quite a few that had tofu and other proteins along with veggies.
Not bad!
So good! There s so many generic Asian food options around town it s nice see something with a great personality & vibe and tasty and authentic food. The Don Don Combo was unreal. Server was a little underwhelming but still a great stop.
Overall, my experience at the restaurant was just okay. The place had a decent ambiance and setting, and I must say the service was great. However, the food didn t particularly stand out. I ordered the Guilin Hot & Sour Rice noodles and the Braised Pork Rice Noodle. While the noodles were fresh, and the soup was decent, I found the flavors to be somewhat underwhelming. The Braised Pork Rice Noodle was slightly better, but I still felt that it lacked a bit of depth. Additionally, I noticed there was only a small amount of meat with the noodles, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the price is ok.
Absolutely delicious noodles and dumplings. Cucumber salad was awesome too. Great vegetarian options! Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian/vegan options!
Really love their dandan rice noodle. Best spicy noodle in the town!
I dont know why the noodles have to be boiled till they rot... White rice and medium cooked... It s really not delicious...why are the reviews so good? ..
They gave us the left over rice so the rice was just chunks. Noodles are like a mud. Overall bad food.
I ordered pickled cabbage fish noodle. The fish meat is delicious and the taste is very satisfying, but it is a bit spicy. If you are not spicy fans, you need to ask the waiter to add less spicy. And the drink is so good, can help relieve spicy.
The worst food ever! Not worth for every penny. The white rice was the last thing left, very stale and lots of lumps! The Dandan noodles had broken crumbs and the side dishes were not fresh. We spent $148 on the most horrible food! How could it be so unpalatable? ! Even the plain water provided had a strange smell.
The food delivery was extremely slow. There were not many people in the store and there were not many takeout orders. It took more than 40 minutes for the food to be served. The rice noodle soup was almost cold. The spring rolls in the set meal were all cold, especially as shown in the picture. Don t order the white meat with garlic paste (are you kidding me???????)! Dont step on the trap
The taste is okay, but can the noodles and soup be served separately when the noodles are taken out? When the takeout is delivered, the noodles in the soup are almost rotten, which is really disturbing.
I prefer to eat dry than soup, one bite of rice noodle and one bite of soup.
Decided to try a Guilin spot, Momi Noodle, in Chinatown. Make sure to ask for their homemade chili oil. - Guilin marinated rice noodle (A1) ($14.95) - huge portion of noodles. Broth was light, well rounded. Pork had a nice skin crackling, beef was tender. Favourite of the three. - Dan dan rice noodle (A4) ($15.95) - broth was very plain. Prefer the traditional dan dan style over this version. - Sour cabbage pork belly rice noodle (A12) ($18.95) - a mix of noodles to give some contrasting textures. Broth had a mild, sour note. Okay but nothing special. Decent fare at MN. 3.5 stars.
Overall great meal, great service and reasonable prices. If we had a longer stay in Victoria we would definitely go back!
Amazing restaurant! The food is amazing for everyone a good amount of vegetarian options and some vegan options. The eggplant dish is amazing!!! The staff are always friendly and helpful explaining the menu. Highly reccomend for anyone visiting Victoria!
The food is served very slowly, the portions are very small, the meat is very hard, not authentic
I ordered Beef Brisket Rice Noodle, the beef is so hard to be chewed, and Sliced Braised beef, which has only 4 pieces of unchewable beef with some carrots.
The food is just ok. The service is terrible. I will not come again
Spicy tofu paired with rice noodles is irresistible, so delicious
I ordered three items: Guilin Hot and Sour Noodle Bowl ($18.95), Spicy Pig Ears ($9.95), and Secret Scallion Beef Pancakes ($11.99). The soup of Guilin Hot and Sour Noodles is warm and the noodles are cold. The soup is poured on top of the noodles, and the whole bowl is even lukewarm. After pointing it out to them, I took it in and heated it in the microwave. Not to mention that the spicy pig ears were a very small plate, half of it didnt have pig ears, and the other half was shredded carrots and cucumbers. Only sporadic minced beef can be seen in the secret-made scallion oil and beef pancakes. It is said to be secretly made. It tastes no different from the heated frozen scallion oil pancakes.
Loved the texture of the noodles and all of the toppings. Overall the food was great however I wish the broth was just a bit more flavourful. Its like 95% there - still really good!
Stellar dining! tasty noodles, welcoming service. Already looking forward to my next meal.
To me, it was just okay. The texture of the noodles felt like it was overcooked. Cucumber salad was great, but other sides were average-ish. Fried noodle didnt really have much flavor either. Interesting to try, but since there are lots of other options in Victoria, I cannot see myself revisiting this place.
Delicious food with a super cute restaurant. Honestly this is some of the best food weve had in Victoria. This Chinese noodle spot has a bunch of delicious noodle options as well as plenty of sides/appetizers. I would recommend their popcorn chicken as a starter before getting noodles for a main dish.
Everything I had (ordered in) was outstanding! Definitely my new go-to spot.
Amazing food, from the noodles to the veggies, the portion of meat was very decent. I took a large one and I was stoked at the quantity i got for the price, the bowl was the size of a bucket. Super satisfied
We came here with Xiaohongshu, thinking we could have a great meal, but we didn t expect to step on a landmine. We ordered a beef? Rice noodles, a beef and scallion pancake. There are only a few pieces of beef in the beef rice noodles, and the rest is white butter. I thought it might just be an example. Unexpectedly, when the beef and scallion pancakes arrived, I was shocked. The whole plate of pancakes looked just like in the photo, with only white beef and no red meat at all. I don t know how this restaurant survives with such fierce competition in Chinese food in Greater Vancouver. Maybe it s based on fake reviews? We followed little red book and found this noodle place in Victoria. We thought we were going to have a wonderful dinner. We ordered Beef noodle and Beef fried pancake. The beef noodle was just so-so, There were just several red beef meat in the noodle soup, the majority was just fat white as snow. We thought this might be just a rare case. But our jaw dropped when we saw the beef fried pancake. Shown in photo, there was no red meat at all but just some white fat. We would never return.
Absolutely love the atmosphere at Momi Noodle, the tree inside the restaurant just adds a unique touch. Now, lets talk about the food the Beef Stew Claypot is just out of this world! The beef is tender, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth. And the soup? Wonderful! Its rich, hearty, and complements the beef so well. Cant wait to come back and try more dishes!
I really like the side dishes here, perfect for a dinner party with a few people.
I saw the new clay pot braised chicken and ordered takeout to try it. The chicken is very tasty and the potatoes are soft and fragrant. The addition of mushrooms and carrots not only enriches the taste but also increases the texture. I still like coriander, but I don t like it. You don t need to add coriander
Really great experience! Loved the food and service :)
Great restaurant in a great setting, with a very nice interior ambiance. I highly recommend the hot and sour rice noodle and beef pancakes for their delicious flavor.
Open late and one of the only spots in the area that serves dinner. Tried the fried pork noodles. It was okay, but not super exciting. The pork was overcooked and the veggie to noodle to veggie ratio was unbalanced.
As soon as I opened the lid, the aroma was overwhelming. The chicken was soft and tender, and there were also my favorite mushrooms. My favorite way to eat it was to pour the soup on the rice. It was so delicious!
The guilin noodle is very tasty, but too little meat and too much noodles. The sauce is really good though. The dan dan noodle is a little spicy but also very good. Definitely recommend to try at least once
Loved it here! Food was great but also the staff were attentive and friendly.
Amazing food with good vegetarian options. I ordered the Guilin Marinated Combo and had them make it vegetarian.
Slow service. Not recommended. Don t go
This place is not recommended. First, the food was slow to arrive - the drinks took a long time to make and there were not many customers. Secondly, the rice noodles with hot and sour taste do not taste hot and sour, and the fried soybean is not fragrant. Finally, the quality of service needs to be improved. Last time, I ordered Dan Dan noodles, the picture looks delicious, but it was not. Im not going back to this place again......
Best rice noodles in town, and they even have plant based options. Highly recommended
Was able to pop by for lunch and I am hooked!! Ordered the Braised Beef Noodles and I was transported back to Taipei!! So good and great service!!
So good. Service was friendly, food came quickly, and it was all delicious. We ordered A1 along with the cucumber salad and fried potatoes. Highly recommend everything.
Excellent food, glad to have authentic choices like this in Victoria
Excellent and fresh. We enjoyed our family dinner.
I know noodles. And these are good. They are rice noodles, the thicker kind that you d normally find in a Yunnan style Crossing the Bridge dish but the overall dish is different. Good price point. Good service. Good vegetarian options.
I ordered delivery for rice noodles, slush and chicken appetizer. I selected rice noodle options for two of them but did not get them. Taste was bland, noodles were soggy and mango slush tasted just sugar water. Popcorn chickens were chewy and just soaked in oil. Honestly very disappointing..
Delicious!!! The best food in Victoria!!
Great little spot for noodles and some tasty side dishes. Definitely a great addition to the Victoria food scene.
Wow, another great gem in the heart of Chinatown. We ordered three soup noodles and all three were so delicious. I highly recommend this place.
Its quite salty and oily. Its not terrible. Not healthy for sure. My stomach didnt like it afterwards. Good service. Wont be back sorry.
Dont like it
The rice noodles are delicious and the environment in the store is also very good
Fantastic food and friendly service. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and a side of potatoes- delicious! I will be back! Often.
Ordered multiple dishes from this restaurant: Taiwanese chicken popcorn, Dan Dan rice noodle, Tofu rice noodle & fried spring rolls. All dishes were very greasy, and there was remarkably little flavour to any of them. Very lazy execution, and I couldn t get through any of the dishes with my partner. (Giving two stars because their delivery came fairly quickly. However I would have much rather waited for good food instead.) I m really not one to make poor reviews online, but I see the high overall rating of this restaurant on google and I can t understand why. Maybe due to a lack of many of these restaurants on the island & it s central downtown location? There are certainly better takeout options, including Ox King, which has phenomenal Dan Dan noodles in particular. I highly recommend visiting them instead.
wonderful place, and love the rice noodle
Fresh food, love their appetizers, cucumber salad is really nice.
Went there for lunch today for the first time. Excellent Mapo tofu, really great flavours and very good rice noodles. Also very helpful that there are some vegetarian dishes on the menu. I ll go back to try the braised eggplant next. Ambience very nice too, and the guy serving us was so friendly. It s in the former MoLe space on Pandora.
The pickled fish noodles are particularly delicious! It s very suitable for those who like spicy food or have strong tastes. The portions are generous and the cashier lady is very nice. I ll come back next time! The pickled cabbage fish noodle was amazing, had some good time with my friend here.
The first time I ate rice noodles, the rice noodles showed a thin and long, slightly translucent texture, and the taste was soft and fine. An amazing experience for me
Delicious pork belly noodles, excellent service! It was my first time here today but I will be back soon!
This is an amazing rice noodle shop. The rice noodles are cooked just right and can be said to be crystal clear, unlike the noodles in many places that are broken into pieces. The taste is also very good. The side dishes are beautifully stir-fried, and the seasoning may be a bit light for some people, but you can feel that a lot of care has been taken and the hard work is not bad. But here comes the problem. This restaurant has some strange combinations of good noodles and good dishes. For example, dry stir-fried vegetables are paired with noodles without soup, which makes people wonder how to eat them. I tried eating rice noodles and vegetables in one bite, and I also tried mixing the vegetables into the noodles as toppings, but nothing worked. Maybe there are some other positions to be unlocked? All in all, I recommend ordering the noodle soup, it is quite delicious. Finally, when there are many people, the food service will be slow.
Absolutely incredible. Rich complex flavours. Super delicious. We ordered delivery and well defs have to try dine in now. Dandan noodles, Dumplings, garlic pork belly, it was all amazing!
Wow this food was just great!! Really recommend the mapo tofu
MOMI NOODLES IS THE BOMB. Fist off the decor is amazing, secondly noodles are soooooooooo goood. Also the spring roles are delicious to! Super friendly, fast service. Great restaurant
Great food. Nice music. Good vibes. Get the pig ears!
Delicious. Come again next time
Excellent prices, excellent portions, tremendous service. If I could eat here every day I would
If we lived in Victoria I d be here all the time. Welcoming friendly service. Fantastic food. Had the Hot and Sour Noodles and the Chilly Spicy Wonton with sour plum drink. Expertly prepared and just delicious. Want to try everything else on the menu now!
this place has quickly become one of our favourites and Im almost too embarrassed to admit they know us by name! My partner has a few allergies and theyre always able to accommodate! Love love love this place, my favourite noodle spot in Victoria!
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very cute. Seating was spread out. We ordered Dan Dan buddies and steamed dumplings. The noodles were spicy but good and the dumplings were the perfect amount for one portion. Don t forget your Boba tea, it was delicious.
Jummy! Good service would go back.
Ordered the A1 traditional noodle. The amount of broth given was a joke. The soup container was filled up 20% of the way and extra soup would be $5. I had to throw away the rest of the noodle since there was no soup. I do not recommend this place at all, unless you want noodle with no soup.
Very special noodles, unlike anything Ive had before. After asking, I found out that it is Guilins special rice noodles. Its delicious, thanks to this store for letting me taste a different Chinese taste
So delicious and service was amazing
Had a great dinner with a friend. We sat for a few hours catching up and we werent rushed out the door after we were done eating. The staff are all very friendly and kept making sure our waters were topped up.
Awesome noodles and dumplings. Staff were great as well!
The flavor is rich and the mouthfeel is delicate. love this restaurant
Compared to eating various noodles abroad, I still prefer Chinese traditional rice noodles. Every rice noodle is full of ancient wisdom
Kind staff and great food. They brought over a small plate of noodles for us to sample for their new menu item which was really sweet of them. Cozy and decorations are lovely.
I love the vibe in this restaurant, they serve in-house bubble tea alongside any dinner items you would like. I got a Lychee slush with a chicken noodle bowl and popcorn chicken on the side, it was all super tasty and the portions are huge. Definitely appetizing and filling, would recommend to try it out!
This is the best noodle place we have enjoyed in Victoria. The staffs are super friendly, and the food is amazing. You must try if you are near by!
We ordered a Hot&sour combo and a Dan Dan combo. Very impressed with the presentation of the food. The taste of the various components were good too, but the rice noodle itself was quite bland. Wished there is an alternative - a nice chewy flavourful flour noodle.
Best rice noodle I have ever had for a while.
Awesome noodle spot. 2 vegan combo options. Got the #2 and loved it, all the toppings were amazing plus some tasty salad sides and a spring roll. Would recommend!
Amazing noodles perfect spot for lunch!
Got the brisket and radish noodle soup. Broth had zero salt in it, super bland. Beef was seasoned properly but there was only a comically small amount of it in the dish (see photo).
Dandan rice noodles are super delicious! I can actually find such a delicious rice noodle shop on the island. I highly recommend it. I will bring friends to eat together next time. The peach green tea is also delicious.
Tasty food (we had dumplings and the A2 MOMI hot & sauce rice noodle vegan style), friendly staff and good value for money. Highly recommendable!
Our time in Victoria, Vancouver island was limited so we decided to go to Momi Noodles as we were in the Chinatown area and through the window, saw how well-decorated Momi was. We were happy with the quick service and how efficiently we were served our food. For lunch, we got the Guilin marinade noodles and also the curry fish ball noodles. We were impressed with both and how generous Momi were with garnishes. Both noodles were delightfully sapid with wonderful textures. The curry fish ball just had the right level of heat and the Guilin noodles were packed full of mouthwatering goodness. The tasty food, coupled with the top-notch service, makes Momi a fantastic restaurant. Delicious food and I highly recommend them!
Delicious! I had no expectations going in but found myself coming right back with friends. Flavourful and bright. Vegetarian and vegan options. Very nice :)
The appearance/presentation of the noodles and the combination of toppings are very appetizing, but unfortunately the rice noodles are too soft, the taste is a little bland and the soup/gravy served is not hot enough
I passed by by chance on a rainy day and was attracted by the warm decoration of the store. There are many choices of pasta in the store, and the taste did not disappoint me. I never thought that I could still taste the authentic taste of my hometown on Victoria Island~ I personally recommend the Dandan noodles and Xiangxi Bandit Chicken Noodles, and the honey milk tea is also delicious! recommend:)
Best noodles in Victoria! Every component was so flavorful. Highly recommend. I will be back!
What a pleasant surprise for us. We have probably walked by this place dozens of times. Checked it out today for lunch. Nice combo of noodles and various toppings. I had the mapo tofu. Quite different; in a good way. They have a hot pot thing that we may try next time. We will be back!
Excellent food. Comforting and tasty and every bite!
Terrific place. Great food very friendly staff. Seems like a hidden gem. Just a great experience. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options! Dietary restrictions: I have a bad reaction to garlic but my partner loves it. We were both extremely happy. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids here. They were also well behaved :) Wheelchair accessibility: I walk with a cane and had no problems. Easy access and plenty of nice flat room to maneuver
Simply put the best hot pot in town. Service is kind and very welcoming. The food is on point, tasty and delicious . Highly recommend.
Delicious noodles! Each noodle dish comes with an assortment of sides (nuts and various fermented veggies). I got the Dan Dan combo. In retrospect, it would have been plenty of food without making it a combo. Generous portions. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs!
Sorry but this is not the Chinese food that I had in my mind. I don t know why but maybe because I used to go to a restaurant in Amman and it was one of the best so that what I saved for Chinese food. So it didn t meet my expectations. The service is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the the amount of the portion. The bubble tea is a great option. But I would never come back if I am going to go to Victoria.
Delicious noodle with good service.
Nice unique Chinese noodle options that Ive never had before. Kids loved the dumplings and Wonton noodle soup (yangchun style noodles are like ramen noodle style). Great that they had vegetarian option for their feature noodle dish! Very clean, lovely art/decor and furniture. Awesome!!
The food was pretty mediocre, I definitely wouldn t recommend this place. Also they had a photographer handling my food before it was served to me, it made me uncomfortable because of the pandemic. Bubble tea was great though.
I love how the cashier is really attentive especially since my sister has a peanut allergy. Very good service, feels like a family run business restaurant vibes!!
I know this is a noodle place, but their bubble teas r so amazing!!! I tried matcha flavor and black milk tea. I highly recommend the matcha milk tea if u r a matcha fans. The matcha taste not too sweat or too bitter. And also the black milk tea is not too sweet. I love it. I ll definitely go back to try other teas.
The quality of ingredients are fresh and tasty! I really like the side dishes, and the soup! The service is really nice, two girls are friendly and interesting! The bubble tea is also very similar to the milk tea shop made its worth to try this authentic rice noodles restaurant!
Very flavorful soup. We really enjoyed our lunch here. We will definitely come back to try the other items. Service was great!
I saw in the first comment that there were large pieces of meat, I only had a few very small pieces of meat, four small plates of pickles and a very salty soup, it was too salty. Of course, I mix the soup in the rice noodles. I put all the things togeter. The milk tea is delicious, but the rice noodles are mediocre.
Best chinese noodle I had in my life! Strongly recommend.
Such a cute little shop. Went in didn t except much but the foods was great. We ordered A1, A5 and some side dishes and appetizers. Drinks also great. The lychee black tea was so yummy -> Highly recommend <-!
The best rice noodle shop on the island
A little shop with a strong sense of heart and home. Delicious and efficiently prepared food. Great place for dates.
I ordered rice noodles for takeout. They were excellent! The broth and noodles came in separate containers to combine, which took me straight back to when I lived in Taiwan. Absolutely delicious, and they were very expediant in making them! I will 110% come back for more.
Cute and cozy place! Service were good. I had the traditional Guilin rice noodle which was delicious, and my friend s hot and sour rice noodle was amazing! The pickles were sooooooo good! I will be back and try another items definitely!
The taste is amazing, the taste of Guilin rice noodles in my memory. I ll order more tomorrow
Very authentic and delicious noodles, excellent service!
there are only 4 broccolis in this little box, but it cost $3.5
Great food. Was very pleased how the setup was. Great atmosphere to go for a nice bowl of noodles. I would definitely go back and try some of the other dishes. Walked by it every day before catching My bus home. Glad I took a chance and stopped in. Highly recommend.
Lovely place to eat! The inside is gorgeously decorated, the service was so lovely and just overall a lovely experience. The food itself was amazing as well, so bright and colourful and you get to assemble the food yourself! We also got boba which was lovely, best tapioca pearls I ve had in awhile. Would definitely recommend, and will be back!
I picked up two bowls of Guilin rice noodles. I was really confused when I got home, just like this??? Why not call it pickle rice noodles? Basically, all I ate was pickle rice noodles from beginning to end. The fried soybeans had been left out for too long and the skin was hard to chew. The beef and pork inside Its really Mediocre, the portion is very small, and the half bowl of soup given is tasteless. I just regret it now, why didn t I eat Vietnamese noodles??? Or I could just cook my own snail noodles I won t go there again. Capital AVOID!!!!!!!!
The egg powder is amazing
The hot and sour noodles are super delicious~out of this world! There are other side dishes~ Love this hot and sour rice noodle, good choice!
Momiiiiii!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Definitely one of the best rice noodle I ve ever tried in Canada. Served in a nice portion but the taste is even better!!!!! The hot and sour is a must!!! All kinds of drink available just unbelievable!!!!!! Overall great environment, great food and nice employees!!!!!
Authentic Guilin rice noodles are finally available on the island! So delicious! ! ! The boss is from Guilin! The taste is extremely authentic! I ate it for several days and never got tired of it. Every item is super delicious! The store environment is also very good, clean and bright, and the service is excellent! The lady is very gentle and patient in introducing the menu. Now it is my favorite restaurant on the island!
Ordered takeout today. Very good food. I got the marinated rice noodle and fried potatoes. Full of umami and flavor with a hint of spiciness. Service was great. Quick and super convenient. Absolutely delicious, I would recommend eating in or getting takeout.
The dining environment is good, the pigs trotter rice noodles are delicious, and the milk tea is also delicious! Next time I ll try Guilin rice noodles, I heard they are the best rice noodles on the island!
The pigs trotters noodles are amazing, and I feel like Ive gone back to China to eat delicious food. I originally thought that there was only Vietnamese rice noodles on the island, but I didn t expect that I could eat such delicious Chinese rice noodles on the island. I missed it so much! It was so delicious! If you want to check in every day, I highly recommend their side dishes. The noodles are very chewy.
Ive been here several times and the experience has been great every time! I have eaten their Guilin rice noodles before, and they are very delicious! This time I came to try other dishes and it felt great! I didn t expect to have such good Chinese food in Victoria!
The taste is pure, the price is reasonable, and the service is enthusiastic. I recommend everyone to try it!
Delicious!!!!
The taste is average!
Amazing spot with relaxed vibes but excellent and attentive service. Very well decorated and quite possible some of the best broth flavours in Canada. Our server ran around the block to return my girlfriends ID she left on our table! We were blown away by everything. 10/10 will be returning!
We had the house special, A1 meat and noodles, which turned out to be somewhat tasteless, even with all of the salty fermented vegetables that one is supposed to add to taste. It was a disappointment. The chicken wings were also uninspired. The broccoli was tasty, but it could ve been so much more. The one shining star in what we ordered was the chicken soup with ginger, which had good flavour and was very satisfying. I am not sure why Momi Noodle House gets such good reviews overall, but I think it needs greater attention to recipes.
Good noodles, very authentic flavor. (I lived in China for a year and a half). I tried The Dan Dan rice noodle, its says spicy, but for a Mexican is not spicy. I will said 3/10 spicy.
Hmm mixed feelings because I m not very big on rice noodles and this place seems to specialize in it. I would say it would be great if they offered a few more signature dishes that were more typical chinese/asian. Also, i didnt notice the how to eat sign until i was on my way out. It s funny even in vancouver you wouldn t find places that are specialized in doing rice noodles this way. Yummy potatoes!
