My eldery mother goes here with her dog and Jonathon always takes such good care of her. He is very patient and knows she struggles getting the door open with her walker, so he greets her outside where she sits sorts everything out for her. This act of kindness is rare and my mom has finally found her little place that makes her feel comfortable. Thank you Jonathon!

Had a latté and a slice of orange cranberry pound cake. Latté was in a disappointingly small cup but tasted good. Cake was very stoggie like glue so def wouldnt reccomend. My friend had a muffin and it was stoggie too. It was impossible to have a private conversation even with music playing. Its a cute place with seating outside as well so we headed out there to talk more privately. Location is great if youre visiting the beach. Too bad about the baking though.

Weird ... No bathrooms on site, nor anywhere to wash hands prior to eating, which seems like a health hazard in and of itself. Didnt stay due to the lack of such basic services.

Interesting little coffee shop with a good selection of food items with a nice atmosphere and great selection of classical music playing. Wish I could of just sat inside or outside and relaxed to the music and enjoyed my coffee and sandwich.

Even after moving back home to Alberta, I still try to recreate the breakfast wraps at Olive Olios every weekend. Its a must stop any time we visit Victoria :)

Calm classical music and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere are features of this little gem at Cadboro Bay. Specialty coffees (even the drip coffee) are very good and the quality of savoury items and baked goodies is excellent. Everything is fresh and prices are very reasonable. Olive Olios has become a regular haunt of mine.

Such a great spot. So nice to find a local coffee shop, run by a local guy! Excellent service, very good snacks (muffins arent made in house but are excellent). This has been our go-to spot during this Covid mess. Excellent location with lots of free parking. Best place to meet up for coffee in the Cadboro Bay Village area. And I heard the owner has been at this for over 35 years! Amazing. Well done.

One of the best Lattes and Americanos I have had in a very long time. Hand pulled shots and perfect natural sweetness from the espresso. The store only allowed one customer at a time but the speed of which the barista was able to serve drinks was very impressive. Worth stopping in for!

Best coffee and the scones are to die for!

An absolutely lovely experience every time I go. The owner is a really special guy who plays wonderful music which sets a perfect atmosphere and hes very open to interesting conversation. The lattes with oat milk are delicious and a definite recommendation anytime. Thank you. A special place.

I stopped in for the first time today and this will now be a new favorite place. I had the most delicious scone ever! The owner is super friendly and has been there for 25 years. Wish I had discovered sooner and skipped Starbucks all these years.

Nice small selection of eats. Had the curried yam peanut soup with a ham and Monterey Jack sandwich. Very tasty. The service was very nice and I didnt have to wait long for the food.

A local coffee shop with character. Located in a beautiful nook in Cadboro Bay, kitty corner from Starbucks... Unlike Starbucks, this cafe has flavourful espresso, and ambiance. The pastries are delicious, offering gluten free and vegan options. Perfect place to get a coffee to take on a five minute stroll down to Gyro Park and the beach.

Just a short walk from UVic, Olive Olios serves delicious coffee as well as reasonably priced and fresh made baked goods. The service was also very quick and friendly.

Olive Olios is one of those little tucked away neighbourhood cafes. Coffee is always hot, indoor or outdoor seating & delicious sweets or savouries for a light lunch. My curried vegetable samosa was delish. Close to Gyro park for visit before or after.

When ever I come here I always get the breakfast burrito and the London fog. All of the drinks and meals are delicious, but this is probably my favourite. Here you can get one of the best breakfasts in Victoria, especially considering the reasonable price. If youre looking for somewhere to get a cozy, fulfilling meal and a tea remember to come here!

Nice little coffee shop with nummy baking but my cappuccino was terrible. 1 out of 10. After I watched how the espresso was made and no wonder. She didnt tamp the grinds so the water ran through in like 2 secs.

Decent tea, but pretty pricey! 3 stars because there were very few choices for alternative (dairy free) goodies. Furthermore there were not too many options for alternative milk choices.

So happy to shelter here on a windy day. House made light lunches are a reprieve from fast food with a nice selection of baked goods and beverages. Summer brings a large patio and people watching. The dog can sleep in the shade under your bench!

Stayed in downtown Victoria (Im from WA state) and this was by far the best meal I had all week. We happened to stumble upon this place driving around since it was pretty rainy. Granted, I only had the tortellini salad, a pastry, and a latte but the tortellini itself was to die for.

This is my go-to place. Theres no better coffee in the city. Their selection of fresh to order sandwiches and soups changes daily. I most often just get whatever combo is on offer. They also have consistently offered menu items (e.g. veggie breakfast burrito, beef and chicken empanadas) that are consistent for a reason. Each time I am there, which is very often, I am consistently impressed. Impeccable service. Also, while not something everyone cares about, their musical selections are always on point and at a comfortable volume for chit chat. If I could give this place a trillion stars, I would.

Great little coffee shop. I like the samosas and the veggie breakfast burritos. Its a nice place to go in the summer for the patio, and because of the proximity to the beach, or in the winter for a hot chocolate. The patio is dog friendly (I dont have a dog, but I like seeing the ones that visit there). Parking is a bit tight out front but theres more behind the building.
