Excellent service and tasty food! Brussels sprouts are a must side, and we really enjoyed the butternut squash ravioli and bolognese. Good sized portions, too.

This was an enormously good find. Our server, Zack, was awesome! We ordered the carrot appetizer - awesome! The Saltimbocca was our main course. This was again awesome! The flavor explodes in your mouth and just makes you want another bite. The whole experience was exceptional!

The food was okay

Me and my friends went to this restaurant for first and the service was so disappointing. Server was not at all interested in serving us.

Service was terrible our server simply never appeared and didn t until another staff member noticed that we had been abandoned. Bread (also forgotten, arrived mid meal) was also horrible and definitely not focaccia as advertised. Seafood pasta was flavourless (um no sauce??) and the salmon was drowned in olive (purée i guess??). Maybe the pizza is great - I wouldn t know - but definitely the most disappointing meal of our trip to Victoria.

We had a wonderful charcuterie board, spaghetti with meatballs, seafood linguine, and pizza here. The wine was great. So was our waitstaff, and the patio too. We will definitely come back here to eat when we visit Victoria again.

We had a pizza and the seafood linguine, husband says the pizza was fantastic, I was disappointed that my linguine came from a packet. I m a bit of a pasta snob, so I fully expected fresh made pasta. Aside from that the seafood was delicious.

The pizza was excellent, surpassing my expectations. The spicy oil added amazing flavor to the pizza.

Is Italian pizza naturally hard? Did you heat the frozen pizza in a wood-fired oven? This is my first time trying wood-fired pizza like this. I put some salty, hard, basil-like green leaves on the margherita. Definitely not basil! As for the pasta... they used the seasoning as sparingly as possible. It looked fancy on the outside, but it looked like convenience store food. It s not even worth giving two stars. The dishes are cleared so quickly that it feels like they are asking us to leave quickly, which makes me feel bad. Still, I tipped 18%. I really regret writing this review.

Can I give 6 stars?! Amazing! Cannot thank the staff enough for making my son s birthday. They went above and beyond to ensure that he had an awesome night. The food was perfect and they didn t treat the kids any differently than any other guest. Food was excellent and perfect for a big group and they made sure everyone was taken care of including bringing out the cake. Lovely place for a cozy dinner! Amazing butternut squash ravioli!

Tried the double order of squash ravioli and it was tasty.....for about 3 bites....then it got really boring both in flavour AND texture. Essentially, I was served squash purée in between 2 sheets of pasta in butter sauce with a few nuts on top. This is not a dish that should be offered as a main unless you make it more interesting to eat. Where are some braised greens? how hard would it be to toss a few nice chunks of roasted squash to add some colour and texture to the finished product? Some broccoli ni? Look at the picture! Its so colourless and m-eh looking. What happened to food presentation? This dish needs some finesse! Btw, the pumpkin seeds in the pic were added by me for some textural differentiation as it became a chore to eat once the filling was gone and i was left with what felt like eating cooked sheets of lasagna. Food that you go out for or order in should be fun...not boring. Right?

Came in sat at the bar . Was greeted the moment I sat down . Carlie was on the bar and severed my drinks and gave suggestions on wine right away . Ordered food to go and it came right away and was amazing . Carlie was so great and made the whole experience seamless. Can t wait to come back ! This place is awesome !!!

I had one of their new cocktails it was a gin and hibiscus I think....it was really resfreshing and wonderful tasting.I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was a huge homemade ravioli, the sauce was so creamy and flavors were amazing. The caprese salad had really nice tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, they must have used truffle oil it was the best Ive had from any of the Italian spots Ive tried in town hands down. The desserts werent anything to write home about to be honest.

I recently had the misfortune of visiting this bar in Victoria, and I must say, it was an exceedingly disappointing experience. The menu was alarmingly limited, offering a scant selection of dishes, and the portions were shockingly small. This establishment certainly does not deserve to be labeled as an Italian bar. The service was far from satisfactory. The waitstaff seemed utterly untrained in the art of customer interaction, lacking the basic courtesies one would expect. It was quite disheartening to see such poor service in a place that is rated so highly. To make matters worse, our visit to Victoria for a long weekend, which we had eagerly anticipated, began on a sour note due to our unfortunate choice of this bar. The high ratings and positive reviews it has garnered are grossly misleading. I regret wasting our time and money at this establishment and would not recommend it to anyone seeking a genuine Italian dining experience. We had dinner here on our trip to Vancouver Island. What a place! Our server Lee was also the bartender, and she loved our table, as we were having so much fun! The food was fantastic, the wines available are many and varied, and just a great place to have a higher-end dinner. Recommend highly - make reservations!

Food was good, nothing spectacular. Biggest complaint is how run down the restaurant is. Washcloth in the bathroom ceiling hole. Ripped vinyl benches to sit on. So much gum under the table I almost vomited. Unexcusable, no reason thats not part of the side work for the servers. This place could be excellent with just minor changes. Cleanliness goes a long way with the prices theyre asking for on the menu.

Cool place. GREAT food, beautiful atmosphere and very good service. Well priced and easy to walk to. Tiramisu is a great way to end the night!

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the frutti di mare and was delighted to find there was actually a ton of seafood in it. I find restaurants often skimp on that kind of thing, but not at Fiamo! The atmosphere is great too. Highly recommend!

I m sure this could be a good place to eat, but they really missed the mark tonight. Ruined our last night in town. This place came recommended by a local server. Great ambience, and service was also great at the beginning. We were a little disappointed in our appetizer, but C est La vie. Then we waited a LONG time for our main. (We thought 50 mins- hostess stated 30) When the waitress finally checked on us and I mentioned the wait, she was rude & snippy- mentioning that they had a big party upstairs, and reminding me that we had already been served our appetizer .(condescending)As I have worked in food service, I was immediately annoyed- because being busy is not an excuse. It s a Friday night on a beautiful April day. Customer shouldn t have to suffer bc you can t feed your seats. And I immediately became defensive. By then I was raging, and my husband and I were debating on just walking out. Disappointing food finally arrived- husband s pizza a little burnt, and my pasta flavorless. Afterwards, the hostess came by and was very sweet by asking how our experience was, and adjusting our bill by removing the appetizer. By then the 4 top behind us had walked out after sitting there for approx 1 hour and not being helped at all. I always tip at least 20%. I tipped nothing tonight. It honestly hurt me to do that, but this experience truly ruined our last night, and the waitress s attitude was unacceptable.

The restaurant definitely has a good atmosphere. We ate in the outside area and even though it was a cold day we were warm thanks to the outside heater. I was with my toddler and baby and I dont think its a family friendly restaurant. They didnt have a kids menu and appropriate cups/Straws for kids. The staff seemed surprised to have clients with kids. But the real problem was the food. We ordered a pizza and spaghetti with meatballs and everything was so bland. I would say the food was tasteless. No salt. Very disappointing and expensive... I was expecting a delicious meal and it was not even close to that. Kid-friendliness: No

Service is great, staff are friendly attentive and helpful. We had pasta and it was good, but I have had better. Pretty traditional North American takes on classic Italian dishes. Portions are generous though. Atmosphere is romantic. Nice for a date night.

Did the $55 Dine Around menu with friends last night and was quite disappointed by the quality and portion sizes. Had the whipped ricotta appetizer, duck breast main, and panna cotta dessert. Duck breast was quite small and not tender. I should have went for the $45 menu and had some filling pasta instead.

The service was nice, the carbonara was really good, the bacon on it was nice. The pizza was good too. We ordered a margarita in the happy hour and it was 90% alcohol, so strong, not enjoyable.

Excellent food but squirrel sized portions.

Went in for some late night drinks last week with a group of about 10. We were told at the beginning there would be an 18% gratuity because of the group size, so I didnt add a tip when I paid. After I paid I went to the bathroom and the waiter told my partner I didnt tip, and asked if she would tip him. She was pretty embarrassed and didnt tell me until after we left. I feel bad if there was a misunderstanding and the 18% wasnt added to the bill, but I think it couldve been handled better by the waiter.

Amazing experience at Fiamo. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable with our newborn and the food was fantastic in fact we ate there 3 times in one week because we couldn t get enough. The atmosphere and staff were amazing it s a must try restaurant. Thank you Cole and staff! We will be returning soon.

I am shocked by the good reviews of the restaurant. My group tried two pizzas, chicken Parm, pasta roses, and two apps and everything was underwhelming. Food was bland and mediocre. I would save your money and go elsewhere. Ambiance and service was lacking.

Our servers names were Leah & Evelyn, both super friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to go during our stay in Victoria. Cam, Levi & Tim were the fabulous people responsible for our pizzas, they were delicious! Casual vibe and great food with great service, very much recommend!

I remember coming here before I had moved to the island and i was really impressed! Came back after I moved here and the Carbonara was very memorable. Ate here for my birthday recently and left almost thinking I should ve went somewhere else. Ever since moving here in 2021, the food has tasted and looked different and now i find the same Carbonara very salty & because of this, hard to finish. Not sure if kitchen or management has changed since

I went to Fiamo with my book club, knowing it was an Italian place and I wouldnt be able to tolerate 99% of the menu items. But I wanted to go to Book Club! I told our server (Zach) about my very restrictive dietary needs, and without any expectation of accommodation. Zach was very reassuring and the kitchen was able to provide a wonderful meal that I my body could tolerate! It was delicious and the service was wonderful. I want to send a HUGE thank you to Zach and kitchen staff for taking the time and putting in effort to create a dish for me. I know commercial kitchens are busy chaotic places and special requests can be a real pain during a busy dinner hour. So again, thank you so much for making on little person feel included amongst all your busyness. Dietary restrictions: I am on a Low Residue Diet (no fibre, dairy, meat, chicken, grains)

I have only had one pizza from Fiamo so if might not be an accurate assessment, but the pizza I had was one of the worst Ive had in Victoria. The crust was dense chalky and pale, the toppings were dry and bland.

We came here on a Saturday night without reservation. The hostess said it would take 20 minutes. 35 minutes later, we noticed that everybody was arriving and immediately getting a table. So, we asked and she had forgotten us. We ordered Arancini for starter, a seafood linguini and one pasta with ragu. Everything was just ok.

A great place

Fiamo is a cozy yet chic Italian restaurant. Inside the restaurant is romantic, dark, and moody: perfect for a date night, evening cocktails, or having an intimate night to yourself. They have a closed patio as well as an open-aired one though unfortunately it wasnt open when I visited. Leah was our server who was methodical in how she went about the steps of service. Amy also stands out to me in her role as a support staff/host. Overall, the staff were quality: laid back but also seemed to care for their work. I came for a Sunday night dinner so regrettably, the pasta dishes werent available reducing the choices in entree. However, their rotating specials of the day were a nice addition ensuring greater variety. This also implies they utilize seasonal ingredients and come up with new dishes in addition to the set menu-- probably more fun for the kitchen staff too! I ordered their special of the day: Eggplant Parmesan ($26) which was delectable. I loved the addition of roasted vegetables (including potatoes, broccolini, sweet peppers, and carrots) to brighten up the otherwise heavy dish. I would recommend this place for those in Victoria and craving a good Italian meal with a charming atmosphere :).

One word Amazing

We ate dinner outside on a beautiful day. The evening can be chilly but we sat right under the heater. It was perfect! My husband had their beet salad and loved it. We shared some brussel sprouts and they were soooooo good...very crispy on the outside and very flavorful. We shared a pepperoni pizza and the meaty one (cant remember the name) Both were delicious but the meaty one had a nice spice to it. A great dinner to end the day.

Service was great, but the charcuterie board was sad. It felt like they had transferred sliced meat from a Costco platter to a $28 cheese board. With all of the incredible local meets and cheese around, this platter missed the mark. Brussels sprouts were great though and I ve been back since this original review - pumpkin ravioli is a hit!

I got food poisoning from there special pasta I got very sick. I would not recommend this place.

Arrived after 11 when the rest of Victoria had shut down, . The food was great had the house wine. We ordered the charcuterie, fried brussel sprouts and a pizza but thought the pizza was smaller than it should be even compared with Vancouver pricing. Overall would come again!

Fabulous dining experience. Having never been in Victoria, we combed through lots of reviews and dinner suggestions. Fiamo exceeded our best hopes. Everything from the very nice menu, quiet atmosphere, excellent wine list and outstanding specials made deciding on a choice a challenge. Fortunately, we had a top notch server in Leah to guide us every step of the way. Her wine choice was spot on, like all of her recommendations. We are only in town 2 nights, we may just have to go back. You will not be disappointed in this wonderful establishment.

Its a very good restaurant. The basic dishes are a bit too salty for me. The ingredients are a bit inspired and can be said to be unconstrained. It has a wonderful feeling of silly sago with dark soy sauce. It s not fun, my intestines are so red

Only fully white families are seated outside. Everyone else can be wait-listed, so they can shuffle you off discreetly. Plenty of empty tables, yacht quality white people, hostess would rather choose to ignore you than allow you to sit inside.

We came here looking for Italian food. We were greeted very warmly by the gentleman at the front. And every interaction with him was friendly, hospitable and welcoming . As soon as we met our waitress the service went downhill. My in-laws are from overseas, and are in their 70s so they ask lots of questions especially items that may not be on the menu. On the menu of the restaurant itself it says if there are dietary restrictions or special request they would try to accommodate. It s okay if things are not possible. But it s the attitude of the waitress, which was dismissive and detached that got to us. And how disinterested she seemed in making us feel welcomed. She would ask a question such as, would you like for a reciept and my father in law would say yes and she did not even hear him, because it seems she just wanted to retreat from the table as quickly as possible. I hate to make assumptions, but the waitress seemed young and possibly had not had a lot of interactions with senior citizens or people of color. So she absolutely made our experience at this otherwise beautiful restaurant memorable in the worse way. When we left the lovely male host was again cheerful, and we wished the service as a whole reflected his attitude as soon as we walked in. The food itself was lovely particularly the ravioli! And the atmosphere and decor was unique. Just a shame, because it was our first time, and we will not be returning simply because of how inhospitable our server was.

Fiamo is one of my favorite places to eat in Victoria. The food is excellent and served professionally. The wine list is extensive without being overwhelming. And its just a lovely place to spend an evening with your favorite company.

Great pizza! we have the arancini balls and they were quite possibly the best i ve ever had! This was our first dinner while visiting victoria and if it weren t for going and trying new places i would have 100% returned!

Ordered beet salad - was ok. We then ordered the Aranchini balls not very good sauce. The seafood linguini was pretty sad: tiny scallops some shrimp and very salty. My chicken parm the chicken was dry and the plain pasta was very salty. Would I go again or recommend - nope.

Authentic Italian food with big flavours and beautiful presentation. New Orleans vibe. Lovely patio too with a variety of gluten free options. Big car park beside also. Service was fab too! Fiamos is like a secret find for Happy Hour. Grapefruit margaritas for $9, built shafts for $6, and Prosecco on tap for $7. We had all of those and more! Food is quality Italian. Service at the bar was fun.

Celebrated our 17 year anniversary here last night! Wonderful atmosphere, complimentary drinks to start and then the most delicious food! The staff were so kind and attentive. Thank you and our compliments to the chef and staff for an unforgettable experience

Best pizza

Good service

As a person who works in customer service, I can understand why servers can feel stressed and such on busy days. However, me and my friend when for dinner on a Monday and felt that the customer service was extremely poor even though the restaurant seemed slow at first. As we went, the hostess asked us what we preferred when it came to seating and we said anything that may be nice and breathable. She sat us in a corner inside the restaurant and we were kind of iffy about it as the whole restaurant was relatively empty (as again it was a Monday) but we brushed it off. We were first served after 20 minutes, we asked for recommendations, and the server seemed out of it. After 25 minutes she gave us our food and just walked off. At the same time, beside us, a group of 5-6 white people who dressed relatively uptight were first seated then given service right way. Moment later, surprisingly they got their food and drinks quickly. Me and my friend were heavily frustrated at this as by that time, we were already done with our food and wanted to order dessert and take out boxes for our food. We waited for nearly 30 minutes (and that server didn t even come to check on us for anything). I personally had to eye her to get her attention and then was given the boxes and the bill; she walked off again. We couldn t even bother waiting another 30 minutes to even receive a card machine so we just left exact cash with no tip and left without getting anything else. I genuinely think it was because we both were wearing relatively casual clothes and also we are poc; considering mainly the whole restaurant was of white people. In the moment, we didn t think but of it as we both worked in customer service as I mentioned and how demanding the job is. However given how slow the restaurant was, we thought now it was unfair. *apologies for the long read, just wanted to put this out there for any poc people! *Edit/Update: The owner had reached out to me and resolved this situation quickly which I have appreciated greatly.

We were out late night for my 40th birthday shenanigans and stopped in around midnight to get some drinks . We ended up staying for so many rounds and some absolutely amazing service. The manager working was so freaking lovely and she made the whole night feel extra special with some VIP treatment. What an awesome experience! And the night before me and 30ish work friends showed up unexpectedly for drinks while waiting for a work function across the street and they graciously found room for all of us and made us some amazing drinks too. Overall, if you are looking for amazing ambiance, incredible food and drink, and service that reminds you of what a dining out experience is supposed to be - go here! Won t forget the amazing people here.

I don t think I ve ever been to a restaurant where the staff have been so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and atmosphere was nice as well!

Quite possibly the best Italian food weve had! The Roseline di Pasta was excellent -- its similar to rolled lasagna. You can order two or three, we did three because we were sharing. The Saltimbocca is a stuffed chicken dish with an amazing sauce. It was all so good. Were really glad that our group had planned to share our meals, the standout was definitely the Roseline di Pasta. Hayley was our server and was so much fun, she has such great energy.

Disappointing all around

Liam just served me and my grandmother and was so kind! lovely lovely time! if we lived here wed definitely be back :) the arancini was what we had to start, super delicious, and our mains were the butternut squash ravioli and this other pasta I have no clue how to spell. It came out quite great!!!

Waooo what a good place to eat and have a very lovely evening. We got there before 8 amd got seated right away,after that big line outside. Staff was very friendly and helpful,we came to celebrate my wifes 30s birthday and they made oir time there very special,Ambiance is really cozy, background music very enjoyable,not that loud. Our waitress Candice was super nice.thanks for ur service, Food was delicious,we had Pasta di mare,raviolis,rice balls,drinks,everything top of the line. I have to say if u are looking for good food and a great place to celebrate special occasions,this is ur spot.

Amazing experience sitting at the bar enjoying Happy Hour. The warm olives are bathed in a citrus sauce warmed up perfectly. The meatballs are perfectly done, bathed in a beautifully balanced tomato sauce complimented with the the brussel spouts with a garlic aioli sauce. Service was excellent, warm and inviting.

Fiamo feels like home to me. Ive been going to Fiamo ever since I moved here almost thirteen years ago. They serve delicious food and drinks. The staff and owners are so friendly and accommodating. Its one of my Victoria favorites!

It is a very happening place for dinner time. The wait time was 30 minutes on a Sunday night. A specialty limited menu restaurant with amazing service staff. The food took a while but was worth the wait. Ambiance was faaaantastic, and people kept pouring in even at 1 AM

Fabulous food, friendly staff!

Late night date night! We enjoyed a salad, 2 pizzas, and cocktails. The pepperoni pizza with honey drizzle was the perfect mixture of sweet, spicy, and savory. The cocktails were great and the ambiance was very nice. The only downside was having to be sat at the bar since there were no tables available but it wasn t bad.

The most incredible brussel sprouts ever. Only had a few appies and glass of wine. Very friendly service and quick kitchen.

Quick service on a Wednesday night during happy hour. Our server was attentive and friendly. The warm olives and caprese salad were delicious; however, the margarita pizza was a little bland in flavor but the crust was nice and crunchy. I would visit again but would plan to try a different pizza.

It was just okay. Had the mushroom pizza. The white sauce was bland. It could have used more seasoning all around. Service was good.

I absolutely LOVED this cute Italian restaurant! My friend and I were looking for something to split (we weren t too hungry) and this pizza was perfect. We both got the sweet pear cider ( Happy Meridale ), this pepperoni pizza, the panna cotta, & the cheesecake. Everything was literally AMAZING. Presentation, taste, and price were all 5/5. It seems like a super fancy restaurant, but my friend and I weren t kicked out for wearing our hoodies and jeans While the lighting was a super dim, it was still an amazing experience and I will certainly be back! We also had a really nice waitress

Came in for a friend s birthday tonight without a reservation Hailey our sever made it a really special night for us, to the point we didn t want to leave when the meal was over. Her level of servitude is leaps and bounds above what s become the norm in Victoria. She was fun to chat with and had us laughing every time she came to check on us. Big thank you to Hailey! Will be back soon!

I think about the Duck Wings often haha. Great place for eats and drinks. Great to go with friends - booth or bar anywhere is a great spot to sit! Pizza with the pepper oil also yum!

Very beautiful restaurant, with music, lots of entertainment, but the pizza left something to be desired, hard dough, no sauce and little flavor

Some of the dishes looked amazing. I however, am lactose intolerant and struggled to find something without dairy. I chose the Oricchette Pugliese which was very disappointing. The pasta was undercooked and chewy and there was almost no sausage to speak of. The flavor in the broth was nice but definitely wish I had gone with the spaghetti.

People were super friendly. Nice vibe and lively in the weekend. The pizza was excellent.

Went here after a comedy show and were hoping to have a decent late night meal. If you like balls, this place is for you. Aside from the pizza menu, they had other options but they were lackluster. The meatballs and rice balls were what we ordered and they tasted exactly the same because they were served in the same tomato sauce that was a bit too acidic for my taste. But that acidic flavor overpowered any flavor of the food items. Also ordered the Tiramisu and it was meh. Didnt taste any espresso so was disappointed... Maybe all the flavour and creativity is saved for the daytime menu items but we wont be going back there for a late night snack anytime soon.

It great cause its open late. But it is not necessarily my go to for Italian cuisine. The service is always great. I cant knock the food but I would say that I prefer other places for this genre of cusine.

We had the most amazing experience with Téa, our bartender. She is personable, sweet and professional. She hasn t been bartending long but she makes exceptional cocktails and has great recommendations if you are exploring. Makes the best margarita.

The atmosphere is fantastic. Very comfortable and cozy. Amy our server was amazing. She made great wine recommendations along with entrees. Our expectations were exceeded. The food was more than delicious. Will definitely be back.

The only thing I want to eat for the rest of my life is the Brussel sprouts. Do yourself a favour.

I had a great time at Fiamo Pizza and Wine. The service was amazing. Super fast. I shared a pizza, had half main plate and an individual desert. The food was great, just the tiramisu that I didnt love it. I reccomend Fiamo Pizza

Great place. My $42 steak dinner had way too much fat. Other than that no problem.
