Dined here several times over the years and never been disappointed with the food. Always excellent and reasonably priced too. Was completely blown away by the service at our last visit, and it really sets this establishment apart. Everyone was attentive, professional and friendly. Glasses never empty, plates cleared immediately, our server was funny and engaging, and knew the menu well. Highly recommend.

Quality Italian Food and a definite must try when stopping in Victoria! My family tried various pasta dishes, etc. and everything is always on point every time! Not to mention the soft warm bread served before your main course!

This is an incredibly beautiful and cozy restaurant, tastefully decorated, for me the best in Victoria so far. Even though we went without a reservation, we were shown to a table after a short wait. We were also provided with drinks while we waited. The carpaccio, the leg of lamb and the creme brulee were to die for. The highlight of the whole evening was the service (unfortunately I forgot the name). We were looked after perfectly and every question was answered professionally. She was incredibly warm without being pushy. It was an unforgettable evening, thank you

My wife and I decided on the spur of the moment to go for dinner and hadn t been to il Terrazzo in 20 years. It was a total success. The service, food and atmosphere were CD outstanding and is our new favorite restaurant in Victoria. We will definitely be back very soon and for every special occasion to come.

Awesome fun staff, great food and impressive service. I swear these guys are water ninjas. IF you blink, your glass is suddenly full again. Their house bread and topenade is fun to share, although its so good, you really dont to want. Every menu item is great and the portion sizes are beyond fair. You certainly wont leave upset. The price is very reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect for making business deals, taking out a date or enjoying some time with friends. Make reservations in advance to skip the long lines. Amazing?

I ve eaten here three times now. The positives: wonderful atmosphere and nice staff. I rate the food 1/5 stars, as I haven t once finished my main. Im not a frequent reviewer (esp. negative) but felt obliged to leave one after my latest meal and after seeing the ultra high rating. I had pizza tonight, with completely bland crust. It was nothing like you d expect from an Italian pizza dough it hadn t risen at all, had no yeasty flavour, and tasted under salted. I at least expected nice quality mozzarella cheese on top, but this pizza just had a thick layer of what tasted and felt like superstore cheese, or what you d expect on a convenience store pizza. I couldn t taste any tomato sauce under the cheese, so it tasted like subpar bread underneath lots of cheap cheese. And my bar for finishing my meal is low - even the same crust with a tastable amount of tomato sauce and a few pieces of proper mozzarella would have been enough. Regarding the other dishes Ive had: I think Il Terrazzo likes to deviate from traditional Italian cooking (show any Italian person a photo of the dishes in the top reviews and the name of the dish, and I bet they d laugh/cry) and that s fair enough. But their deviations do not come close to hitting the mark for me.

The sevice, wine, and food were all excellent. We had the Pollo Appollonia (with prawns and fusilia), and the sauce was perfect. We paired it with a reasonably priced 2015 Sangiovese. Highly recommended

Such a great experience and food

We have a staff holiday dinner here each year. The food and the staff are unbelievable each and every time Ive been here - whether its a family get-together or a work dinner. My only critique is the openness of the layout, which does two things: -its a fairly loud room -the washrooms location forces you to walk through the pass Overall, this is a really tough restaurant to beat!

Today our experience was remarkably different than past experiences. Waited twice as long for our food while the table next to us arrived later, ate and paid before we even got our food served, even though we were ready from the get go. My food was lukewarm at best while the other plate was scalding hot, maybe they forgot to enter the order. Service was meh, got a terrible table even when I reserved a whole month in advance, maybe this should ve given the impression this was an important date for us, not that they asked, had to skip dessert as we were running late to another commitment. Disappointing night

We went to Il Terrazzo because of the reviews. We were not disappointed. If you are looking for a little different type of experience than your run of the mill restaurants, you should try this place. The restaurant entrance is tucked up into an alley. We must have looked lost, because a nice woman told us the entrance was there. Once inside we discovered a sort of eclectic restaurant jammed with tables. Not an uncomfortable crowding, but more like a big happy family gathering, with everyone smiling and engaged in happy conversation. After being seated, we were treated to some of the best service we have had in a long time. We wanted for nothing. If the server was not around the facilitator/helper/busboy was. The food was excellent. Although the restaurant sort of gives off the home Italian vibe, the dishes had some interesting and very good twists. We were up from Washington. Next time we head up to Victoria, we will hit Il Terrazzo again for sure. Make sure you make a reservation. There was a wait list. Il Terrazzo only does rezos a max thirty days in advance, so if you are headed in from out of town, plan appropriately.

I have great pride in east coast food but when I say I was blown away by the food in the west coast is an understatement! The meal I had at this restaurant was by far the best meal I can ever possibly recall having it so incredibly tasty!. I talked about this meal my whole trip to Victoria and will highly recommend it to anyone I hear traveling there. Edit: It has been ver a year since my review and visit I will be returning in November and can say that I have been still raving about this restaurant! Can wait to return middle of November.

If you are lucky enough to get a reservation, Il Terrazzo is excellent. If you are visiting Victoria, you may want to make a reservation before you leave home for your visit. The food & service are as good as you can get. I had the veal shank, which was very well cooked with a very nice sauce. The seasonal vegetables were just a bit over cooked, but very tasty. The eggplant lasagna was the star dish of the night. I am not a big fan of eggplant, but I tasted and loved this dish. The halibut was also excellent, cooked to perfection. The Capreze salad could be the best I have had. The wine list is very good, and the sommelier chose a perfect Italian Barollo wine for our meals. (The wine was $140, so factor that into my cost per person.) Vegetarian options: Excellent eggplant lasagna.

Delicious food in a busy but surprisingly intimate setting. We loved it.

After dining at Il Terrazzo for the first time this past week I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining. Their menu has many options and they can accommodate dietary restrictions. The service is definitely above average and was a nice treat after having poor service at so many other restaurants lately. The staff are super friendly and hi it of their way to make sure you are comfortable and having a great time. The restaurant is in the old part of the city and exhibits old brick walls decorated with an assortment of rustic elements. An interesting calm, comfortable old world vibe envelopes you as you come through the door. The restaurant was packed when we arrived so I was pleasantly surprised when they brought out our order so quickly. The only downside to the evening was receiving my plate after alerting the staff of a dairy allergy. They brought out a delicious piece of fish with some vegetables but totally skipped adding a carb. Some potatoes or maybe some pasta with basil would have been nice. All in all the food was delicious and they have a top notch section of wine and spirits. I can unreservedly recommend Il Terrazzo to anyone wanting a pleasant evening out! Dietary restrictions: New specific with your server and ask that they substitute instead of omit parts of your meal.

Like the other reviews say- the food is excellent but i will not go back as you are jammed in like sardines- me and my hubby went and we were tightly squeezed in between two tables We couldnt talk as the people on either side were so close- there was no privacy If your going to go out for a romantic dinner- i would pass on this place

Last evening we had 5pm dinner with my wife, our daughter and friend. Unfortunately, I had a fall while walking to the restaurant and suffered some facial cuts and a very sore shoulder. I did not look pretty coming in. I must compliment your staff for looking after me. From your front desk staff who provided me with bagged ice several times, paper towels to Allison who was our waitress for the evening. Everyone went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and ok. On top of all the attention, we had an absolutely fabulous dinner. The salad, lamb chops, pasta and desert was beautifully presented and delicious. Much appreciation for the wonderful meal and 1st class service. The restaurant was full and deserving of all the support from its customers. Thanks again to your staff for making it a memorable evening in spite of my accident. We live in Vancouver we will be back.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Victoria! The food was absolutely amazing, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance is so cozy and beautiful. I was truly amazed! Not the best pizza, by any means, prefab crust? Not cooked enough. Server was sacchrin sweet. The cocktail was tasty but all that ice, it was gone so quickly. The set up for the bathroom is weird. I had to walk through the pass were bartenders and servers work. Good for tourists more than foodies, Id say.

Great food and the music play list is fantastic!

Gotta say, I loved the atmosphere and the vibe but the food was a bit off the mark. For the salad we had the goats cheese and poached pear which was tasty, but just didnt seem as though it was put together with care. The calamari was tasty, well put together and on point price wise. The frutti de marre was a total let down at $40. The serving of pasta was small and there was absolutely no seafood in it. 3 shrimp, 3 pieces of fish and a scallop or two. The sauce was totally off the mark as a white wine sauce with cream, as what we got for a sauce was basically a cream sauce with no wine. I lived and cooked in Italy when I was younger so I have been exposed to Italian home cooking. Maybe it was a bad night but a bit disappointing for a $200 bill for two.

My friend and I were there hoping to celebrate my birthday and preparing for a lovely evening. However, we had a really disappointing experience with a server - Michael- who treated us (two women) in a very condescending way suggesting we were ordering drinks for free and even when we clarified he was wrong would not back up. We tried to inform the manager/owner who was quick to defend the server I would be very surprised that he said that . We left and fortunately had a lovely evening just steps away at Perro Negro were the service was exceptional.

Overall, a disappointing experience. The vibe of the place is good, but the tables are set very close together, making it feel like shared seating. The appetizer was nice, but the main course was quite a letdown. Ive tried Italian food in Italy and many other countries, and unfortunately, this didn t measure up everything was overly sour and lacked authentic flavor.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic and the overall service was great!! However, the food was quite salty even though we requested low sodium or no add on salt on every dish.

Had an unbelievable night and my dinner was delicious

We were recommended this restaurant by someone who lives in Victoria- who said this was their favorite restaurant. We decided if a local recommends it we had better try it, however we forgot to make reservations and found ourselves in a predicament. We ended up going on our last night in town (a Friday) and hoping to get in at the first come first serve bar which has 10 seats. Unfortunately the bar was full when we got there at 5:45 but we were able to put our name on the wait list for a party of 4. The rest of the restaurant was all folks who had made prior reservations, which are available up to 30 days in advance. I m so thrilled to report we were able to secure bar seating for 4 around 6:20 and we were definitely not disappointed. The server Eric and bar tender Barry were both great and made our experience enjoyable socially, and the food was incredible. Definitely fine flavors and unique options that you don t really see other places. They have an extensive wine list and some fun cocktails as well as beer options and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. We got the AGLIO ARROSTO e GORGONZOLA as a starter which all four of us thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the MELANZANE al FORNO and the SPAGHETTI al FUOCO both of which were exquisite. The flavors in both dishes sparkled and I can t wait to go back and eat there again the next time I m in Victoria. If you re looking to go I definitely recommend reservations if you want to ensure you get a spot.

November 2024... We realized as we arrived for dinner tonight that while we absolutely love visiting Victoria, our first order of business is booking a table at Il Terrazzo. So book early, arrive hungry and have one of the best dining experiences youll ever have. The food is as always simply brilliant, and the vibe of the restaurant is perfect, ... but the experience-maker is the restaurant staff. Every single time we have been wowed by the people who truly make Il Terrazzo sing. Thank you everyone -- from the hostess who held the door and made sure we had a terrace table we liked, to our knowledgeable waiter, Michael, with just the right amount of enjoyable interaction, and all the diligent support staff -- Eccellente! June 2024. Returned with the family. Simply excellent. The seasonal halibut was possibly the best preparation ever, and the scallopini di maiale remains my favorite. This is what every restaurant should strive to be. [from September 2023] Our favorite restaurant in Victoria. Still wonderful. [from September 2022] Best meal we have had in Victoria this week. Such character and warmth! Strong recommend on the calamari, Marco Polo pasta and tiramisu. Wonderful! We will be back.

I went for dinner with reservations. Quite easy to arrive, the place has an incredible decoration and vibe. The food was excellent I had a breaded pork and cheese pasta, and the sampling desert. Everything was delicious, with lots of flavours. The house Prosecco is a great choice too.

Sat at the bar, Eric was excellent. Advice on the wine, attentive and friendly to each of the patrons. My carbonara dish was excellent, the foccacia was perfect and the chianti was delicious. I travel for work and eat in restaurants almost daily, I immediately made reservations for the following week with friends and family. Outstanding.

A really great place for an evening out. The atmosphere is great, cozy and fun.

An absolutely FANTASTIC dinner! I had butternut squash cannelloni in a coconut curry topped with a sizable salmon & crab cake, arugula, and a mango salsa. He had pesto spaghetti with sizeable homemade meatballs ringed in red sauce. We ended the night with the dessert sampler - scrumptious tiramisu, refreshing lemon panna cotta, and fudge balls rolled in dried coconut. We sat on the back patio, which was protected from the wind and cold but still let in plenty of light. Brick walls, plentiful flowers, and vibrant decorations tricked us into thinking wed actually gone to Italy. Our server Neil was attentive, informative, warm, and professional. We were thrilled to have chosen this wonderful spot for our first wedding anniversary dinner.

We were hungry. The food was superb. Tapenade, Funghi, Fusilli, and Marco Polo all extremely flavorful and satisfying. Crème brûlée and the best lemon sorbet, a great mix of dessert flavors. We were very happy.

The atmosphere and decor are spectacular! I am 60 yrs old and well traveled. I can honestly say that Spaghetti Carbonara is the best dish I have ever been served!

Food was tasty, atmosphere was amazing, but minus one star because the drinks were lacking in terms of cocktails and the fish was a little fishier tasting than I expected for this sort of place. Still really good though! Would recommend a visit, but maybe go to a cocktail bar after. Vegetarian options are lacking, but my friends loved the steak on the carbonara Vegetarian options: Not very many, but the ones they have are tasty. Would recommend looking elsewhere unless you re really excited about the pasta. Pasta was great

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND This is a great place to visit because it is chic, atmospheric and, above all, TASTY. Service at the highest level, we received the dishes very quickly and all at the same time even though the restaurant was completely full. I will go back there every time.

Opted to try this place on a recommendation from a co-worker. The owner went above and beyond to get us a table when I ran into her in the afternoon doing a walk by. She obviously puts her heart and soul into the place and it shows. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the ambiance was perfect. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would.

Heard good things and had to stop by while visiting Victoria, been back home for months and cant stop thinking about the carbonara. 100% recommend!!! The tenderloin was cooked perfectly and the spaghetti was amazing. Never liked carbonara before that but ever since I havent been able to stop staring at the photos. The tiramisu was also the best Ive ever tried!!

Absolutely the best restaurant in Victoria. Charming atmosphere, impeccable service, and perfectly constructed dishes. Dont miss the salad with crusted portabello slices, or the broiled scallop/ smoked tuna appetizer.

This Italian store is really great. The environment is romantic and emotional. I ordered seafood noodles and grilled venison. The taste is absolutely amazing. Especially the seafood pasta is delicious beyond my imagination. I think this is the best Italian restaurant in BC, but it s a pity that it s in Victoria and not Vancouver.

We visited on a rainy night and received a warm welcome. Our table was next to a fireplace in a wonderful room with windows above, giving it an outdoor vibe. We started with a Panzanella salad which was fresh and well-dressed. I had Spaghetti Carbonara which was one of the tastiest pasta dishes I ve ever had. It was spaghetti with bacon, peas and parmesan in a creamy sauce. It was topped with slices of beef tenderloin, done just right. My wife had another pasta dish, FruttI di Mare della Casa which was a mixture of seafood with tomatoes and leeks, also in a cream sauce. She kept saying how good it was. For dessert we had coffee and an affogato with brandied cherries, which was a great finish to our meal. The service was excellent and unobtrusive throughout the entire meal. Outside we met the owner who was graciously greeting patrons and asking about their experience. This was a perfect dinner date.

The food was absolutely delicious, and our waiter Carson was very helpful and charming. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, a little noisy (very popular place) but not too much.

Every time I take a weekend trip from Seattle I always make reservations at Il Terrazzo for dinner. Excellent food, but the ambience is one of the main reasons I keep going back. Sitting on the patio on a rainy night, next to a fireplace, cannot be beat.

Excellent restaurant. Nice meal, good glass of wine. Because the quantities in Canada are always large, both starter and main course are shared. Particularly attentive service by David, the other staff are also friendly and attentive. What was special was that there was NO disturbing music!!! In short, a very pleasant dining evening.

I hadn t been here in over a decade and always had fond memories of this restaurant. However I was sadly disappointed by the food and service. We ordered the scallops and they were over cooked. The server brought us new ones quickly. We asked for wine recommendations and the server sent over someone that was ok with recommendations. The food was average and I was expecting better. The atmosphere is still lovely as a remembered.

Have been coming to this place for 2 years now and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is great and the the service is excellent and the food has always been great. However, I went again last night and the Caesar salad was incredibly disappointing. $16 for lettuce, and a few croutons. There are a lot of great things on the menu but I highly recommend not ordering this or changing the recipe!

I had heard great things about Il Terrazzo but it far exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfect the atmosphere, the food, the service. I had the Marco Polo linguini and it was heaven. Best pasta I ve ever had. My boyfriend had the tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection in the most delicious peppercorn sauce. We were both surprised to find such a fantastic steak here. The wine list is extensive and the cocktails were to die for. We will definitely be back.

On Sunday my wife and I came here to celebrate her birthday. We are out of towners and were really looking forward to it. Upon entry, I couldnt believe how beautiful the restaurant was. The atmosphere was romantic, trendy and beautiful. We got seated and the only reason why I am not rating the service 5 stars is that it took about 25 minutes to have someone get out cocktails and take our order. I feel like this was unusual though for the place. Otherwise, the service was great. I noticed too that perhaps the owner (maybe its a husband and wife business) was very involved with seating people, seeing people out, and also guiding people to the bathrooms and wiping off counters. I was impressed because it felt old school - very classy. Now the food - omg, all home made, absolutely delicious. We started with the focaccia bread and the spread (to die for, house made bread). Then the insalada caesar which was just so good - oil based dressing and just super authentic. Then I had the FRUTTI di MARE della CASA which was a seafood linguine and my wife had the SPAGHETTI CARBONARA which was done with beef tenderloin. These both were the best pasta we ever had in our lives - it tastes so authentic and rich. Great portions, worth every penny. Highly recommend coming here if you are visiting Victoria and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious food. Wonderful atmosphere and top notch service. We didn t have a reservation and were with my very elderly grandparents (in their 90s) and they accommodated us despite being full which was very sweet as they have limited mobility

It is expensive but definitely worth the price. Ordered calamari, seafood pasta and lamb shank all were exceptional and services were great. What I would expect at this price point!

My partner and I had a wonderful anniversary dinner there. The service in the restaurant was so outstanding, the food quality was really good. Especially the dessert we ordered, the portion was very big and tasted so good

The decoration is beautiful. The food is not as good as the rumors. Its just okay. It doesnt quite match the price. The service is very slow and always ignores the ladies in the same company and defaults to talking to men.

There are a lot of amazing restaurants downtown Victoria, but I would say that the mix of our server (Chris), the taste of the food, and the beautiful industrial European setting really sets Il Terazzo apart the goat cheese appie, halibut, seafood pasta and tiramisu. Wow!! Absolutely spectacular. This is the place I will absolutely come back to time and time again. if I could give this six stars, I would!! I eat out a lot, and this was one of the best experiences I ve had in a very long time.

My partner and I always love to get dinner here when we are on the island. Definitely my favourite restaurant in the city! The restaurant has great ambience, and the food is always delicious! They have an extensive list of wines from all over the world, and very knowledgeable staff who always give great recommendations. Went for dinner here last night, and we were served by David. He was absolutely lovely, and took amazing care of us. Every single time we come here we are so happy with the service provided, and every different server we have had here always hits it out of the park for us. Definitely recommend stopping here for a meal if you are in the area, we are huge fans!

It had been a while since Id been back to this place, but when my partner groaned PASTAAAAA for their birthday I knew what to suggest. The food was phenomenal across the board, just such rich and complex flavours and it was agony to decide on what to go with on that divine menu. It was supposedly a foregone conclusion that the star of our night would be the food, but we have unanimously agreed that it was our server Josh. He was so monumentally helpful and fun, taking the absolute best care of us the whole way through. That job is not easy, and he made it all feel so effortless to be exactly what we needed in each moment, and he has just the warmest genuine laugh. I wish I had more to give him, and this establishment is well-served with him as one of the faces showing your patrons that this place is more than just phenomenal food. Thanks Josh

Excellent pasta! Large portions. Great value and even better service.

We didnt have a reservation so sat at the bar. Our server/bartender was great. The sommelier was also super helpful. The food was delicious- even the complimentary tapenade was amazing. Update: Made a reservation this time and had a lovely seat in the dining room. That space is so charming and beautifully laid out. Shared the mussels and calamari as appetizers, and had the seafood linguine for a main. Everything was just as good as before!

We ended up here by chance, because a restaurant we had actually chosen was already closed. At Il Terrazzo we were able to take a seat at the bar. It was pleasantly busy. Nice atmosphere and a very friendly and helpful waiter. Really delicious Italian food, great! Dietary restrictions: This is taken into account, everything is freshly prepared, so that is also possible.

Portion of the food is pretty decent, however, the Frutti di Mare is pretty oily, and bean and sausage in CASSOULET di CARNE. I used to come at least every other month or so, but now I wont call them Italian cuisine anymore, really.

I booked our reservation weeks in advance, thank goodness. For a Wed it was busy so the service was slower. My wife and I ordered the Caprese Salad. It was delicious. For our main we had the pork tenderloin over pasta. It was a generous portion and was excellent.

Fantastic food excellent service we were seated at the bar immediately. Eric at the bar was amazing best bar service I have ever had treated us very well. The atmosphere is outstanding brick walls great art and the place is a buzz! I would Deffinitly suggest the baked fusilli colugo di manzo it was to die for and the poppets della casa sam loved. This is an amazing place! Food was increíble and their Tiramisu is the best I have ever tried. We went to celebrate our anniversary and the athmosphere was perfect. The service was good, the meal was reasonably priced and the portions were generous. However, the taste did not meet my expectations. I gave it five star because there is nothing wrong with the restaurant. But it is quite ordinary. I don t understand why people are crazy about it. Parking is extremely difficult in the area.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner

Our first time in Victoria and we were so happy to have found this place. Absolutely some of the best food I have ever had, and the atmosphere is so unique and wonderful. A wide variety of food, wine, and drinks. We sat at the bar and had Tyus as our bartender/server. We found out that he had only been there 6 weeks but he was honestly the best server I ve had. I m a server myself and he was very personable and attentive and really made us feel welcome even on a busy night. We will definitely, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Victoria as a must!

Yan was our server. He is the newest server. He was OURSTANDING!! He was prompt at just the right time. He refilled my wine glass just when ir needed it. Liam was our busser and how kind and professional. We may never have the opportunity to eat there again as we live so far away, but what a wonderful experience. Ans, the food and wine was the BEST OF the BEST. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Last night was my 2nd time going to this restaurant. The 1st was 9 years ago and back then it was sublime. Yesterday however was a complete disappointment. After drinks arrived we ordered and the food was at the table 5 min later. It wasnt hot, zero for presentation and almost tasteless. I had to request salt, it was that flavourless. The 3 of us happened to all desire pasta. One dish had twice the portion than the other. At a restaurant of this calibre you dont get off the hook for mediocre food. I can make exceptions to speed, service and other variables but not the food itself. Sad.

This is my favourite restaurant in Victoria. The service is great. The place is cool. The food taste awesome. Credits to the kitchen staff. Just this year 2024 however, and I am not sure how long ago, the portion of the food has noticeably decreased. I believe management has changed but the change in food servings will definitely impact many customers. The bread that usually was free has also now changed. This is not to ruin the reputation of this great place but to hope that the owner(s) will bring back what was lost. We will still go there but will cut down our visits until we find another place we might prefer better.

Beautiful hidden location, food was worth EVERY penny and we didnt feel rushed. Wish I lived closer so I could go more! I had the Carbonara with steak and the portions were fair.

Definitely need a Reso to get a seat! Everyone was very friendly and it was extremely wheelchair accessible! The food was great, we started with the calamari, my partner got the lamb and I had the Carbonara. The carbonara has lots of flavour. If you don t like salt I wouldn t recommend just because the bacon makes it quite salty but not in a bad way. The steak that comes on top is plentiful and high quality! Absolutely recommend coming here for a night out. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible as well as a single bathroom on the main floor.

Food was amazing, the place, very cozy and romantic, specially patio site. It was my birthday and we ordered desserts, which had 3 pieces of different cakes, they were delicious. You definitely have to reserve your spot, because they always busy, but its worth it.

Mediocre food seriously! Yes the interior is nice and that s what sells this restaurant. If this is the best food that reviewers have eaten and think is Italian, that s highly doubtful and have to wonder where these reviews are coming from.

One of my very favorite restaurants! My daughter and I shared the caprese salad, fussili bolognese pasta, venison and pork scallopini entrees and the best tirimasu dessert! Great wine list as well...a must for an amazing dinner when visiting Victoria!

I went to this place a long time ago, but I remember it being delicious, so Im posting a review late. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and there were quite a few customers. The interior was also cutely decorated. I liked the moist texture of the aperitif bread, and it was delicious dipped in balsamic sauce. I ate the menu recommended by the server, and it had steak on top of ravioli. The portion was plentiful and it was recognized as a delicious restaurant! It was so soft and flavorful, it was worthy of being chosen as one of the best restaurants of my life.

I had the best seafood linguine I think I ve had. Perfectly prepared pasta with delicious and sweet scallops, tasty prawns and halibut. Sauce was flavourful without being overpowering. Crème brûlée was delicious, and authentic. Cocktail was fab. Great staff and vibe.

We have been here once before, and that was a year ago. I remember we were blown away by how good the food was, we had calamari, lamb shank and the seafood linguini, and I absolutely loved the calamari and lamb shank, which is why I ordered them again this time, along with the smoked tuna scallop seaweed salad and the halibut fusilli. But the food is, unfortunately, very mediocre this time. The calamari tastes old; the smoked tuna scallop seaweed salad tastes decent; the lamb shank seems to have a whole different sauce, and it s very greasy; the halibut fusilli is alright. Not sure if there s been a change in the kitchen staff, or just change of food supplier that caused such a big discrepancy in the quality of food. Our server seemed to be really busy, that he wasn t able to attend our table much, and we had to wait for a good 5-10 mins before we could place our order; while the last time we came, our server was very attentive and played a huge part on our positive experience here. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience this time.

The ambience here is great, it really feels like you have been transported to Italy. Given that, it can get a bit loud, and the tables are not that far apart. However it is a very romantic and exciting atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. Every dish was rich in flavor, and even the olive tapenade was incredible. We came for a romantic dinner during our vacation and we only wish we lived close by to come more often. I absolutely recommend this restaurant! Ps. Make reservations!
