Panago Pizza in Victoria

An update. I contacted Panago at the executive level. I reviewed my experience and I was given a credit for the original purchase amount. When I went to the nearest Panago to use this credit, the outlet refused to honour it. What else do I need to know about this one star business? Review from 2023. Went back to Panago in Langford after a year. Placed a walk-in order for a large Panago Classic, multi-grain crust, picked it up and drove it home. I reheated it for family pizza night, and the first three of us that tried a slice just stopped. The pizza was inedible. The crust was tasteless, but the sauce and red onion were not. The sauce was thin and over-seasoned with thyme or some other herb, and the red onions were overwhelmingly sharp...not prepared properly...and the total result was inedible. One bite for each of the three of us and into the bin it all went. So disappointing. As a 30 year customer of Panagopolis and now Panago, I am shocked. Review from 2022. I like the pizza from Panago...but I had an eye-opening experience lately, had a large order from a different Panago outlet. OMG. They actually put generous amounts of each topping on the pies! The Langford outlet, clean, efficient and prompt...but the toppings are sparse. How sparse? I joked that the toppings were placed on the pies with kitchen tweezers, artfully placed minimum amounts of each topping. Apparently not a complete joke. I took photos of the Esquimalt pies and compared them to my last Langford pie. Which will be my last Langford pie. Response to owner. I am a walk-in customer. I dont bother calling.

Although the pizza is good, the new $5 service fee comes out of your delivery drivers tip.

Placed an order for delivery was told it was available. Then received a call back 5 minutes later and told that it was not possible. Perhaps Panago should work on the left hand talking with the right hand. Since I can t reply to the comment from the owner. I m curious about the incorrect email address you shared for me to reply to. Was that a typo? Or from a third party respondent??

I couldn t believe my eyes when I saw that every person making a pizza was using their hands with no gloves!! Scooping up every ingredient with their bare hands

I was pretty satisfied with panago pizza until today. The pizza that I brought home was cold and dry, and I am having stomach the whole evening.

Order was ready fast and error free. Staff greeted me upon entrance with friendly demeanor.

We had some pizza on the weekend after a day of cycling and it was exactly what was needed. The vegan options were great. Would recommend!

I always have good service here. Only once have they messed up which was the last time I went. It wasnt a big deal as I got a Hawaiian when I wanted a tropical chicken. But wasnt worth complaining about.

Total garbage. Frozen pizza from the grocery store is better.

Ive been eating panago pizza for as long as I can remember. And it still tastes the exact same. Ive come to rely on their taco pizza and the Good old original Hawaiian, gotta have that jalapeno ranch dip And you got yourself dinner and usually lunch for the next day. If you can resist sneaking those last few pieces out of the fridge in the middle of the night.

Fast, yummy and great service

I got 3 pizza there yesterday, 1 was supposed to be gluten free and unfortunately it wasnt. I went back today and they were amazing. So professional and polite. They gave me a full refund and apologized at least 3 times saying there was no excuse and it was unacceptable. You dont see customer service like this much anymore. Wonderful staff. Will definitely go back.

We ordered online for pickup and when I arrived multiple staff greeted me. The person who took my payment was friendly and efficient and on seeing I was struggling to carry everything, immediately began to help and carried my order out to the car in the pouring rain. I never expect much service-wise at fast food type establishments, and it really surprised me (enough to leave a review which I ve never done for a fast food type place). The pizza was really good too and we very much appreciate the many great vegan options!

Useless service. No sense of whos in the lineup. Absolutely abysmal management. Made us wait for more than 1 hour as the person did not put the name in the list after promising delivery in 30 minutes. Poor skills.

Terrible food poisoning from the pizza ordered last night.

$94 for 4 pizzas!! If you are going to spend that kind of money go to My Chosen Pizza or even Mod Pizza, which would have cost less. Havent been to Panago for years and now I remember why. Lacking in toppings and flavors and the price is outrageous.

If you have celiac disease this place has cross contamination in all the ingredients. But if you have no allergies its open late and tastes just like a pizza should without a lot grease

Absolutely delicious pizza one of the if not best pizza chains in Canada I have tried just about everything on the menu and it was phenomenal, my only critique would be the chicken nuggets which very old and stale

Delicious pizza, quality ingredients, young cheerful team behind the counter that almost makes you want to work there. The only downside is they pretty much never run any interesting deals or promotions.

Best pizza!

Philly steak pizza. Large. Pulled out a fairly long 10cm hair out while eating it, wedged under cheese. Steak pieces in the pizza very stringy and hard to chew. Been a life long customer of panago, but after this location, not gonna be doing panago again. If a long piece of hair like that gets in their food, not too hard to guess what their prep standard is.

I couldnt believe how good this pizza was. My family ordered a deluxe Hawaiian and a steak and cheese. They were both so yummy. This might be the best pizza in town. Would definitely recommend this Panago.

I just love the chicken bites with the honey mustard sauce.They are awesome.I ordered the ultimate Canadian pizza with bacon a barbecue sauce,it was also mouth watering.The Hawaiian pizza wasnt to great,it needed more cheese and toppings.Delivery was fast and no complaints there.Overall I would recommend this place.Very satisfying food.

Pizza came fast, which was great, but I was really disappointed. I ordered the deluxe hawaiian, which is supposed to have double ham & pineapple; unfortunately they cheaped out and skimped on both of these main ingredients. Ill just make it at home from now on, properly and for a fraction of the cost.

This particular location was wonderful and when my pizza was ready they kept it warm while I ran into bulk barn nearby.

This Panago is great! Our school works with them frequently for hot lunches and fundraisers and Jinny and her son James are always quick to respond and very nice to work with, they often go above and beyond. We also order pizza from them personally, we have a peanut allergy in the family and the staff always put my mind at ease...and the pizza is delicious!

Panago is my go to place for pizza. Especially like Tropical Hawaiian. This location has been consistently good. Friendly staff.

Ordered pizza from here only twice. Both times multiple items were forgotten. When we called back the manager was so incredibly rude we were amazed she still had a job. We will NEVER ORDER FROM PANAGO AGAIN!!! I sincerely hope the staff receive more training. Offering a 5 dollar credit to appease a customer missing multiple items just doesn t cut it, especially after waiting over an hour.

Theres a guy in there I believe his name is Steve he was very nice an knew his stuff.

Pizzas are always dry and lacklustre but maybe people like that.... I gave it two stars because it s one step up from box pizza at the supermarket. Pizza felt expensive when compared to other places, particularly Romeos. Service very mediocre. Always seem to get served by young people who act as if they wished they were elsewhere. And the last time I phoned in an order for pickup the person on the helpline just mishearing and I hadn t a clue what they were saying. Having said all that my kids love this pizza.

Very friendly staff, and so so fast! Yesterday we ordered three pizzas and they were ready in ten minutes! Amazing! The veggie korma pizza is one of my favourites. Lots of good vegetarian options, including vegetarian meats and vegan cheese. I tried the vegetarian meat once and it was a bit tough, but I think thats probably to be expected... and the gluten free crust is great - it doesnt have seeds in it so its much closer to being like a real pizza.

Please treat your staff nice please . Food is great but they dont deserve to get treated like slaves.

Ordered some pizza from this shop, great experience! Reasonably priced, quick delivery, and nice staff too boot! The owner Jinny was especially kind and made me feel welcome again. I know where I m going to for my next slice! 10/10 would definitely recommend!
