I usually like supporting Ma and Pa businesses, but not when they’re taking advantage of their customers. This was my second time ordering here, and I have to say, the disappointment is almost unbearable. I ordered a small beef and onion pizza and an order of wings—six tiny wings—and the bill came to nearly $38. For that kind of money, you’d think you’d get something filling or at least satisfying, but what I got was a pizza that was starved of toppings and wings that barely registered as a snack. I picked up the order myself, which, in most places, comes with some sort of discount, but not here. After finishing the entire meal, I felt like I could eat the whole thing over again and still not be satisfied. For the price I paid, I should be full, or at least close to it, but instead, I’m left hungry and frustrated. I don’t know who’s saying this is the best pizza ever, but they really need to get out more. The pricing here is ridiculous, and there should be a bigger discount for ordering just one pizza, rather than feeling like you’re forced into buying two just to make it feel worthwhile. After 15 years of working in the industry, I can’t help but shake my head. Six little wings for this price? It’s outrageous. Now I understand why, both times I’ve been here, the place has been completely dead. The value just isn’t there, and with prices like this, it’s no wonder people are staying away. I will say, the staff were very friendly, and the service was great, but that’s not enough to justify this kind of gouging. Unfortunately, I have to give this place a heavy two upside-down pizzas.
I have ordered from here at least 10 times in past few months. Pizza is excellent - best I’ve had in the Westshore - quality ingredients and chock full of toppings. Price is more than fair and folks there are fantastic. Funny enough, I just picked up 3 slices from Local across the street because I was in a hurry and didn’t want two whole Pizzas. It’s a decent place for a slice or two and I’d certainly return for that, but it is not remotely the same quality as Mad Greek. So, I am dumbfounded that Local is rated 4.8 and Mad Greek 4.5, and they are not even remotely close in quality. Something’s wrongs with that picture.
I was charged unexpectedly and unfairly for toppings and service. Quality was subpar. I have attached a photo of my receipt as well to illustrate. I ordered two small pizzas and two raviolis. Total price $56 before tax. I only ordered normal toppings not premium, and was charged for them anyway. One pizza was supposed to be double pepperoni but came as pepperoni and salami. The other was Italian sausage and caramelized onion. The caramelized onions were just onions COVERED in sugar, the entire pizza was so sweet it had to be thrown out (I did not expect onions in caramel) and to boot they charged me 1.95 for onions, and another 1.00 for the same onions at the bottom of the receipt. As well as 1.95 for the sausage that was said to be a free topping on their current website. How can you charge an additional $5 for “free” toppings a small pizza and not expect me to write this review? And you charged me twice for the same sweet onions! Aside from the toppings price there is a fuel fee that they did not mention when I ordered. I am fine with paying a fuel fee, I understand it and half expect it these days but please put a disclaimer on the website or tell me on the phone. This is minor. As for the quality of the food, I was disappointed. The pizza crust was fine, but as mentioned the onions were so sweet that an entire pizza had a new home in the garbage. The ravioli were clearly processed and delivered to them from a food service, not made in-house, as they taste remarkably, and I mean REMARKABLY like the legendary chef boyardee’s. The sauce on the ravioli was pretty good though I’ll admit! All in all I was quite upset with my order, since I was given the wrong toppings on one pizza, triple charged for 2 free toppings on the second, and served a $31 plate of canned ravioli.
Mad greeks makes the best pizza subs on the island. I haven't found a pizza sub that even comes close. I try and get at least 2 every time I'm down from nanaimo
My new favorite! The dough is lovely, crisp, and rich with nice deep flavor, the whole pie is delicious, very well seasoned and weighed down with big chunks of juicy ingredients 😋. After running around completing errands late into the evening and starving for pizza this is the perfect life saver!
I don’t want to sound mean but the pizza I got wasn’t that great. I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas. One of the pizzas was very over cooked making the cheese pretty burnt. I don’t normally complain or write reviews. Also the pepperoni they use is weird. It was so small, over cooked and shriveled up. I would not order from here again unfortunately.
Great quality food! We eat here regularly and it never disappoints. I had the baked lasagna and it tasted like a homemade lasagna. My husband had a bacon and feta pizza. The crust was well cooked, it had plenty of cheese, and the ingredients they used made the pizza amazing! Much better than the chain pizza places in town!
I've been enjoying The Mad Greeks Pizza for a handful of years now. 10/10 . Such friendly service. I managed to grab a couple of pizza subs before I flew back to Calgary. They're always so consistently good, and when I popped my remaining sub in my air fryer to reheat, it was the second coming. I Love this place, you will too. Enjoy

Id Like to consider myself a regular by now... Owners/staff (in store and drivers) are always kind. Food is always consistent and generous. Were big fans of their baked pastas amd salads (incredible Caesars). I always recommend their shop! Bonus *locally owned and operated business!!*

Man, what can I even say about Mad Greeks that hasnt been said. Immaculate pizza. Delicious, delicately crafted pieces of edible artwork that cradle the hearts and stomachs of the drunk and insomniac, the late night employee and the college student cramming for a final. Mad Greeks is the absolute pinnacle of family owned comforting food, and they know it, and I adore them. Beautiful food, excellent service, the sweetest staff this side of the Mississippi. Never change, Mad Greeks. Never change.

Thank you so much mad Greeks. This is by far the best pizza place on the island. Prove me wrong !! My family has been coming here for pizza since you were opened in 1986. It has only gotten better over the years. I got the amazing Zorbas special is a #1 favorite and the delicious and fresh Hawaiian pizza. Yummy!!!! So good!!! Both pizzas were Amazing as usual! Krispy sausage on the Zorbas makes me feed our addiction. Not too much pizza sauce but just enough.

Everything is delicious! I get the baked pastas and love the cheesy bread and wings, The greek salad is fresh as can be and they dont skimp on the feta. YUM! The meatlovers was stacked and filling. I will always come back as long as i live in the area!

Really delicious pizza, made to order, has a nice family business feel to it. It was a really busy night so I had to wait a bit (~10min longer than they said) in the shop for pick up, which is the only minor criticism, but this was on a night where an alternative pizza shop told us it would be a 2 hour wait! So overall this is a really good pizza shop. I especially liked the pizza sauce and found it generous with meat and cheese but not in the way where all the toppings are falling off. Good balanced pizza construction. Prices were good value for the amount of food.

Orded a mediterranean pizza and a chicken gyro to go. Was very tasty, the pizza was a fluffy thicker crust with plenty of toppings and the gyro was also well loaded with lots of fresh veggies. Food was prepared very quickly and it looked like one of the owners was cooking in the back and the other took our order.

Mad Greeks was the first pizza place to offer 2for1 pizzas . The one thing that is great about Mad Greeks is that they have a wide variety of foods to pick from. Mad Greeks is also open the latest. If you are a night owl snacker or your job ends late at night as a bartender, for instance, they are still open after 2am. I will definitely keep going to Mad Greeks after the bar closes for late night pizza on the way home, and its usually a small cheese pizza.
If you support local you ll never ever go wrong with Mad Greeks. Friendly, punctual and never a bad experience with food or hospitality. My go to pizza and donair shop. A true Langford original. Cheers !
Been going here for 20 years and there food has never changed it s still taste great and is one of the best around the langford area . Friendly service every time especially if you have gone there as much as me your treated like family .There definitely one of those family owned businesses that you would wish for them too stay a family business and not franchise out or sell out because they would never be the same if they did .

Always open when I need them, super friendly, amazing pizza, and always fresh. If you are ever stuck with hunger in the westshore at 1am, definitely call them. I cant wait to try the other items on the menu. A couple of guys were waiting while I was there picking up pizza swear by the donairs. :)

Just the worst communication any restaurant could have. We ordered pizza for delivery. But instead of walking up the stairs and knocking on the door they called. Then decided to turn around because we didn t answer the 1 phone call.. Then after we called back they said we could come get it from instore although we were drinking Just bad service all around. Highly suggest just not even bothering with this restaurant. The lady was just extremely rude at the end. Chances are this company won t accept the fact their systems super weird and off. So oh well. Lost business and we will tell our experience to everyone we know.

Pizza is always delicious! But my family and I laugh every time at the way they cut it, there is massive slices and super tiny slices which is a huge inconvenience when sharing and having to cut pieces yourself. Perhaps the staff need a refresher on slicing the pies!

We hadnt been here previously, and wanted to try a few things. We had the Double Cheeseburger pizza, and the one with Feta Cheese Olives and Fresh tomatoes - it was the best pizza wed had in years! The best! We also ordered the Baked Lasagna and Baked Spaghetti - the garlic toast was sinful, and both pastas were perfect! We definitely know where well order from next time. Ive only been here once so I will update if my opinion changes. I just would like to note that this little shop does an amazing job. They had my order ready in 20 just like she said over the phone. The price is good considering the quality of pizza and Im over all thrilled with the food/ service. They could add the prices to the menu but other than that there isnt a negative thing I can say .
My wife and I ordered a donair and pizza late Saturday night. My wife enjoyed her donair but the pizza was so salty and made me sick. I phoned the manager to him know this. I would never recommend ordering pizza from here. So disappointed!
Surprisingly dissapointing. The pizza sauce is basically flavorless, maybe hunts or something generic. The fettuccine noodles were overcooked and oversoaked in flavorless fettuccine sauce with congealed pizza mozzarella on top. Plenty of other options in the area that are much better value for the quality. OVERALL on the low side of Average.
I ordered 2 pizzas for the first time from mad greeks. We found both pizzas to be EXTREMELY salty. I saw a previous review that stated the same thing but I thought we would try it anyways. I m not sure if it s the sauce? But yikes! Won t be going there again.

Ordered for delivery, didn t come. Call the restaurant an hour and a half later, they insist I said pick up. I think I know I can t pick it up. The lady argues with me on the phone and looks up my account to see how many times they ve delivered in 10 years. Like, seriously, this is how they do customer service . They refuse to say sorry or admit any wrongdoing on their part, let alone offer any kind of discount for my cold pizza the lady says she ll deliver that s been sitting there for 1 hour. I m so angry and hungry. I m a loyal 10 year customer and a GREAT tipper to the drivers ( I ve NEVER picked up from there ) but I m never ordering from that rude b*tch again.
Seriously LOVE this pizza! It is absolutely amazing, loaded with fresh ingredients. If I have one negative, it is that they dont have dry cured pepperoni, only the thick spongy stuff, so I opt for ham instead. Highly recommend!

The is a Langford classic. Right near Darcy s and open late. They put out food that hits the spot every time. For pizza their 2 for 1 combo with their quality is hard to beat by other local pizza places. It definitely helps to know what you need before ordering since their menu isn t the simplest.

I love this pizza place. Its the only late night yum yummy pizza thats open after 10pm. Its open until 1 am. They serve desserts and drinks/pop in cans and 2 L bottles. They have 2 for 1 pizza and pasta deals. My favorite is the chicken alfredo. They also do delivery.

My wife and I are always on the hunt for what we like to call good-sh*tty pizza, which is pizza that offers the classic Pizza Hut look without the guilt, stomach cramping, and regret later. Weve tried Villages, Ali Baba, Pizzability, and countless others - always feeling like its closer to the sh*tty side of the line were walking. Dont get me wrong, we like a flat crust thats been cooked at 900 degrees or higher with a nice glass of Chianti but when you want beer and pizza (i.e. hungover, drinking, moving day, long day with the kids, too hot to be in the kitchen, etc.) something on flat crust just wont do. It has to have a secret sauce recipe, good quality meats and veggies, a nice, thick crust with a crunch on the outside and soft on the inside it doesnt feel like were asking too much of the pizzerias but to date, I guess we have been. That is, until we came across Mad Greeks. Now, with the name and 2-for-1 prizing, weve written it off for years. Last weekend I finally decided to read the reviews and was pleasantly surprised - super friendly and accommodating, holy smokes these guys make good food, and my personal favourite mouthgasim!!! Why, yes Michael B, mouthgasim indeed. This pizza is damn good. The pies had just enough grease, fresh toppings, tangy sauce and were cooked to piz-fection. Give them a try, if they dont exceed your pizza expectations than I can conclusively say that you are in the wrong, not them.

I ordered 2 donairs,there was no meat a couple tomatoes and sauce.There was more bread than anything else.I will never order from them again.Very disappointed.

Love their pizza. always get a vegetarian one and a meat one and both are so good. I think one of the owners rings me up at the till every time and is super nice.

OMG..Im posting this, almost regretting eating that last slice of pizza. That is not a negative thing to say because the three other slices before it were so delicious, I lost my mind, my stomach couldnt tell my mouth to stop eating. Now were all almost uncomfortably full but Im still happy, no regrets here at all. First time here since moving into the neighborhood and it definitely wont be our last. Toppings were plentiful and fresh, even the kids were impressed with the thickness of the pie compared to other pizza joints they have been to. From the woman on the phone to the gentleman at the counter, everyone was polite, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place and location, not sure if there are other locations, I got a family vibe in there and I believe they have been here for a few decades. So at this point my stomach is crushing my lungs and its hard to breath, I need to stand up...

Googled best pizza in langford and mad Greek came up; first time trying their pizza and wow!! Im a huge pizza lover and have been dabbling around different pizza places and I have now finally found my new go too pizza place, great service as well, highly recommend!!!
First time order from Mad greek pizza. I ordered a mediterranean pizza with jalapenos. They have no price list online when ordering. Now i know why as I would NEVER have ordered there pizza knowing to the door it would be $40.00 thats is just not right. Its not that great to be honest and unfair. Taking advantage of people during this time is inexcusable. Shams on you
