If you are reading this, please move on and choose a different pizzaria. Completely unreliable service. We ordered 12 pizzas a few days before our sons bday. I went to pick them up at the time we agreed and they were no even open. They left us hanging with 18 children and over 20 adults with no food. No appreciation for their customers.

The pizza is not good and the service is very bad. The waiting time is long and the edges of the dough are almost burnt. The quantity of pizza ingredients is small.

Was woken up at 2am by 7 consecutive calls from this location, and I didnt even order anything.

You seriously need to focus on consistency . Every time I order I get a different result . I have just about had it with your shop .

Edit: pizza is good, but I felt unwelcomed to place an order over the phone by an employee so I used skip the dishes instead. Im sure it was just late and the employees were tired and stressed. I left an unfair review and wanted to adjust it.

This is the worest restaurant I have ever seen in the world. They will sell cheap pizzas for 10$. Which they will store for so many days. That which will cause u foodborne illnesses. don t buy pizzas from this garbage restaurant. And also no respect to people. owner was completely stupid. avoid buying pizzas from this restaurant and save your healths.

Sarpinos provided pizza for a curling event I was hosting at the nearby Archie Browning Centre. I was very impressed with the pizza and the service!! It was delicious, well-organized, and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and made the entire process seamless for us! Definitely the best pizza place Ive dealt with for a larger event

Only sent 1 pizza through delivery even tho they state its buy one get one free.

dude I ordered some midnight fettucine alfredo here as a last resort ....and as I lifted the lid of the container in high anticipation, I realized in despair that it was sauceless :O BONE DRY NOODZ WITH NO SAUCE!!!!! I wallowed in sadness for 1 min then made my own sauce and it was heavenly and now I will never order fettucine again as I have discovered the secret to diy fettucine happiness lies within my own 4 walls it was an extravagant and eye opening experience 3 stars for sarpinos effort and rip $20 lmao

Boneless chicken wasnt boneless, was also soggy. Parm bread sticks were not fresh, not enjoyable. Calzone had no cheese in it, on the app it says it includes cheese and one of the options is extra mozza Implying that it comes with it. The quality here has fallen and thats the last time I order.

Tasty calzone! Ordered online; it asked for tip option so I tipped. When picking up and paying, the total including tip came up on the machine then it asked again for tip on THAT total. I was worried my tip did not get on to the bill so I tipped. Looking at my receipt the online tip was included in the subtotal. Poor service or a total accident? Either way, really brings down the value.

Delivery unavailable at 11:30 pm. Website incorrect. Not open for delivery until 1 am or 3 am per website information.

placed an online order for takeout at 9:00pm, when the location is clearly listed as open. My credit card was charged, I was instructed to pickup my pizza, and when I arrived the location was closed, and nobody answered the phone. The next day there were two charges on my credit card, and they still wont answer the phone.

I used to love the pizza here but now I make the effort to go to a different Sarpino s location. The head management of Sarpino s needs to take a real look at the issues facing this location and why the franchisee is failing. I m not sure if it s due to a staffing shortage and they hire the only people the apply, but my goodness are the staff completely awful. I ve never seen any worse customer service than anywhere but here. They would be better off looking into hiring teenagers from the local high schools who would care more than who they have hired right now. This location s interior and design is just as run down as it s current business situation. Sarpino s Downtown and Langford are well worth the drive to avoid this complete failure of a location. Those franchisees should either buy out this location; or to prevent further bad public relations for the Sarpino s brand, Head Office should permanently close this location as I believe there is no more opportunity for recovery in the community. Sarpino s is a good brand with good products; however, this location ruins that brand image.

This used to be my favorite pizza ever. I d order it 2-3 times a month & it was always perfect. Great deal for 2 medium pizzas/ 2 pops/ 2 sauces for $22 delivered - after tip $24. When I d call they would always ask The usual? and knew me by name. Crust was thick and pan fried. Sauces were obviously made it store. Toppings & cheese were plentiful. I moved away and sadly the past 2 times I ve ordered since returning have been a huge disappointment. I can only assume the owners have changed because prices are way up and quality and portions are way down. Both recent cases the crusts were super dry and thin and I swear looked like cheap store bought crusts you d buy that taste like cardboard. Cheese was dried out. Sauce obviously was premade. Toppings?? What toppings??? Everything was what I d normally consider extra extra light for toppings. Honestly a complete joke if it hadn t cost me quality prices for Little Caesar quality. At least there is only be paying $5 and know what I m getting. Friendly regular staff were gone and replaced with people who don t seem to take pride in their work. Obviously the new owners saw a successful business & didn t think anyone would notice if they started cutting every corner in the book. I will never return. Id love to know what became of the previous owners & their take on what s become of a once great local pizza joint. If they have a new restaurant, id love to support it. Edit: It s been over a month since I wrote this review and despite the below customer service emailing me that they d emailed the Esquimalt location who would supposedly address the issue I ve had no further contact from them. I even emailed them again to say as much no response. Continued poor customer service - just the veneer of customer service.

** UPDATE: Its been 6 weeks and still havent heard from anyone, besides the reply to this review. Honestly, so shameful. Isnt anyone embarrassed? ** Called two days ahead to place a large pizza order (11 pizzas) for my son s birthday party. Despite the website/Google info saying they open at 1 pm on Sunday, the man I spoke with said it was 2. I asked if there would be anyway to get the order done by 1:30 and he said sure, no problem, that he d come in early. I should have known better he almost didn t take my name or phone number! Come the big day, my husband dashed out to get the pizza while I set up at a rec centre we d rented for 3 hrs. When he got there, it was closed. No lights, no movement. They didn t answer their phone. Meanwhile I have 35 people with no food. We ended up going to Panagos for the same order and were charged an extra $100 for it!! The most disappointing thing, however, was that we d paid extra at the rec centre to have it on Sunday, so my husband could be there. Then, instead of seeing our 3 year old celebrate, he spent most of the birthday party trying to remedy the food situation. It took 2 hours after Sarpinos opened to get someone on the phone. An employee said he didn t know anything about the order. I asked him to please have management call me and no one did. Horrible service, no accountability and came very close to ruining my son s party because they forgot or disregarded our order. I ve been ordering from this Sarpinos for over a decade, but this incredible lack of professionalism has closed a door for me.

Total chaos and disorganization. Cannot recommend. Online order was missed when I arrived for pickup, and it took ages for them to actually make it while I waited. Workers seemed very disorganized and were yelling at each other. Then they made one pizza with the wrong toppings so it was another long wait to remake it correctly. Finally, I tried to pay with cash and they didnt have change... Luckily I had my credit card with me. Only positive was that the pizzas themselves were not bad to eat.

Over cooked and very tough gluten free crust. Not much flavour. Pepperonis were the best part.

Sarpino s deserves better reviews. I ve ordered several times from them and the pizza is always hot, fresh and tasty. It s definitely better than most delivery places and the crust is good by itself, which is rare. I actually like that the sauce is a bit more sweet versus being acidic and too salty. The tomatoes really shine through. I suppose it s all a matter of opinion but if you re getting delivery pizza, it s a good option and the service is quick.

Gave this place a try on a whim. I walked in and it looked a bit like the front area was still being out together- just had that sense but I don t know for sure. Still, nothing bad. Staff greeted me immediately, directed me to the menu sheet- I had the sense that I wasn t the only one who had needed to be pointed to it. I ordered, they gave me a 15 minute estimate on a small pizza with pepperoni and bacon. Price for that and a drink was $15.99 (fair in my opinion). I left, did some shopping, came back with time to spare. Pizza came out on time. Got it home, ate it. It was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but good. Sauce was a little sweeter in some spots but the bacon and pepperonis were divine. Crust was at that right level of cooked to not be too hard or soft. All in all: seems like a great little place. Sort of place I d be fine to order from once a week or so.

Have had good and bad experiences, overall mostly positive. Dont trust the business hours if going late though :)

Ordered late lastnight, they probably made me the best pizza Ive had there in the last 15 years so 5 stars. Side note you should definitely include a frosting with cinnamon sticks you still get the 5 star because pizza was fire (pesto chicken lover) get it well done.

Worst pizza I ever had from Sarpinos won t be ordering again. I didn t realize they were under new ownership, the last owners were excellent and the pizza was so great. Don t order from Sarpinos on Esquimalt Road.

Sent an incorrect incomplete doordash order with the driver and didnt offer any compensation or resolution to make us whole. Terrible customer service. This was my first and lasy time buying from Sarpinos.

Id avoid this place. The pizza was a joke, just flatbread with toppings. The parmesan sticks were essential the same bread they use for their pizza with powered cheese, and the boneless bites were factory made chicken tenders.

Donair: 0/10. Literally only had 3 slices of meat. Pepperoni Pizza 5/10. Cheese and pepperoni are salty but the sauce balanced it. Customer service: 0/10. Condescending and rude.

Great pizza. Had ordered a gluten-free pizza. While driving over to pick it up, they called to inform me they were out of gluten-free. Since I was driving, I didnt take the call. When I arrived they apologized and immediately made my pizza with regular crust. Then gave it to me for free since I had to wait. I wouldve happily paid for it, and after getting it back to the hotel, it was delicious. Will eat there again next time Im in Victoria.

Great pizza. Got the Hawaiian special. Best bang per buck compared to large chains that hardly give any cheese. I am most happy with the amount of cheese. How done the pizza was. Great pizza all around.

I regret not taking pictures as my meal was NOT as pictured at all and didnt even have the right ingredients. The Halifax donair was hardly edible. It had 3 slices of frozen low quality donair meat. and was overloaded with green peppers ( which dont even go on a donair ) and white onions - its supposed to be red onions but either way, TOO MUCH. The Cinnamon bread was a stale, dry pizza crust with icing sugar lightly glazed... no Cinnamon and not even close to as pictured. It was so bad we threw the whole thing out after one bite.... that I spit out. Overall, the food from Sarpinos is unedible garbage. I would NEVER order from here again. If I could give less than one star I would.

Great pizza

The staff is rude and lazy. But the price is right, and it s on my drive home from work. HOWEVER, they kept my change one time without asking me, and my most recent trip was also my last. They forgot the Parmesan bread sticks, and I had to stand there for 10 minutes while they made them . And burnt them. They didn t offer me any compensation or anything. I won t be back.

My pizzas i ordered were burnt.., the green peppers were slim to none and the salt and pepper wings were uneatable. They also forgot my 2 pops in the order. I will NEVER eat from Sarpinos again because they dont take pride in their work and especially if you have a deal coupon they do an even worse job as you dont deserve their best.

Sarpino s is great and I eat from there all the time. Word to the wise though: If you are ordering wings, the wings are all the same. They are very good for sure, but no matter what type you order, they all come as basically the same salt and pepper wings and whatever sauce you want just comes on the side. Wings should be advertised that way then as coming in only one flavour (salt & pepper) with sides of other flavours (bbq, hot, etc;) available.

I used to love their pizza, it was my favourite pizza place ever, I would recommend to everyone. I am lactose intolerant, and they were the only place that would make a really good pizza with a dairy free cheese without charge extra for it. Last 2 times I ordered, the plant based cheese is from a different brand that doesn t melt. Just very disappointed! other than the cheese, the pizza still good.

Asked for my receipt from the delivery driver he hesitated not wanting to give it to me, I felt that was suspicious. I confirmed the price and sure enough I was overcharged. I called they acknowledged that I was overcharged but refused to refund me the money telling me they would give me a discount next time I ordered. The pizza was cold but good. I would not recommend and will not order again as I feel I was intentionally overcharged.

We have ordered pizza from many different pizza outlets in Victoria, but we now order only from Sarpinos, as we find theirs is the best by far. Wonderful crust, and plentiful fresh toppings. The Italian Deli pizza is the best!

This place is my favourite and dare I say it I think it s the best pizza in the city. I ve had the pleasure of eating at many pizzerias in town and for this type of pizza this is easily the best. I have eaten it lots and it is almost always absolutely amazing.

This place has changed a lot. The pizza used to be very good. I cannot describe what happened but something did happen...to the quality!! I also have to say that I am grateful my delivery driver did not have booze on his breath. I havehad a driver come more than 9nce with boozy breath...not cool

Pizza has potential but isnt quite there. Biggest issue is the sauce. For some reason its extremely sweet, like candy sweet. Changing the sauce alone would probably kick it up a star given its a $10 pizza ready in 10 min.

Staff hide behind mounds of boxes preparing food without masks. Once spotted or coming out to the till they put it on to pretend like they are wearing them. Will not return there.

I ordered the chicken Caesar and chicken strips. On the website, you can see in the image of the fingers that they are real fillets from the back of a chicken breast. What I got was bleached, flavored, processed chicken. I called, and the young lady who answered was both nice and helpful, and offered me a free order of something next time. Looked at my salad..... same kind of chicken, and no bacon. It says it has bacon in the menu online. And in the photo, it clearly shows grilled chicken. Its all so misleading. I basically paid 20 bucks for some Romain lettuce, parmesan, and dressing. Probably never going back. The two stars are for the nice young lady on the phone.

I dont know what has happened I used to love Sarpinos and would order 2-4 times a month the last 3 times the pizza was all sauce I ordered a Hawaiian and I kid you not I counted 25 pineapple pieces I think maybe 1 piece of ham per slice and very little cheese they must have a new owner this was a large pizza the original owner would not have put up with this

Pizza was amazing. Some of the best pizza Ive had in Victoria. The woman who took my payment on the other hand... I paid for my $40 order with a $50 bill and she counted out my change and then kept half of it to tip herself rather than letting me decide what a proper tip was. I hate change enough that I likely would have given her the whole handful but I wasnt given that option. I doubt Ill be coming back here, which is a shame since the pizza was so good.

I never tried Sarpino before but after trying Sarpino in Esquimalt i must say this location is the best and Staff has great knowledge of Taste..

We ordered chicken wings, they were fresh and flavourful, served differently then pictured, means picture shows wings coated with sauce, vs actually sauce was served on side. But still good.

I have picked up here as a customer and I have also picked up from here as a delivery driver and I find it to be unacceptable that they are supposed to give enough time for people to show up for themselves to have the food ready but when you get there at the promised time and have to wait over half an hour it is absolutely unacceptable as a delivery driver or a customer

One of my favorite pizza places

Respectfully, I do love their pizza however, since new owners took over, little things have changed which amount to less value for same or more dollars. Not complaining however, for myself, I will try the place on Jacklin Street to see if it is the same there. Have been a long-time and loyal customer here but am no less disappointed with some of these changes made and probably will not be back because of them. Thanks!

It is a small, run down pizza joint. The proprietor was very friendly and polite on the phone and in person and they had a good deal on pizza: 2 large pizzas, 2 toppings for about $25 (including tax). The pizza quality was pretty mediocre and was less enjoyable (hard/crunchy) when colder. It was average for what you pay for but not awful. There are 2 other local pizza businesses within a block so I will try both others before returning.

The only pizza place that said they were open until midnight and actually were. Great for a late night at the nearby hospital when everything is closed, good prices too
