Rude staff, stale pizza, but YAAAAY its open late.. Edit four years later: in shocked this place is still open. Its HORRIBLE. Head up a block to chimac its such a better option. Or dude... If you really want pizza youre better off going to second slice or the cheap place on Douglas. This place is complete trash.

I work at the club around the corner and even though they were closing/closed they still offered to make me my food which was lovely. It was a busy night and I hadn t eaten in over 6 hours so It was lovely that they were kinda enough to make it for me!

Some of the best gluten free pizza I ever had in my life. Will definitely use them again. Update on Aug 25, 2024. I unfortunately had forgotten who I ordered the gluten free pizza from before and called tis place. This gluten free meat lover pizza was so delicious I thought this must be illegal since again this how delicious this pizza tasted. I called the store just now at about 2205 to congratulate them. I then went to post a review and discovered that this was where i previously purchased pizza 9 months ago. The price was also very good at $56.68 and it is worth every penny. At our organization we get people cleared to enter the US that need US entry waivers and we do extremely well financially. Hence the price tag is no issue. I will also say that if anyone balks at the price posted here, that person needs to get a job or just work harder and earn more. This price is 1000% worth it and I tell people the same thing that balk at our waiver prices: You gotta pay for quality and if you cannot afford it then just stay home.

I have ordered pizzas from the joint several times in person over the years. Always great pizza with heaps of toppings & to compare it to Dominos is like comparing a gourmet burger joint to McDonalds. The pizza is very good but I can not recommend ordering delivery. I just ordered a pizza for delivery for the first time from The Joint & it took over an hour to arrive & was luke warm at best if not room temperature. I dont know if the delivery driver was mute or didnt speak English but he never said a word to me when I spoke to him & paid & tipped for the pizza. He carried the pizza to my door in its cardboard box with no insulation. Overall, a big failure for delivery. Cant recommend delivery but the pizza is great if ordered in house. If youre down on Wharf St. pop in & odder a pizza. Dont order delivery. Dietary restrictions: Allergic to onions. They have always paid attention to my orders.

This is just a road side stand basically so there is no searing area. However, for a quick late night bite its amazing. Very unique and amazing tasting poutine! Great Mac and cheese you can add any toppings that you wish. The size was bigger than we had expected. Dietary restrictions: There are various options to add or remove toppings to cater to vegetarians and those with allergies.

Orderd a 18 inch pizza and it was only 17 inches when I measured it and not the best looking pizza won t order again unfortunately as was looking forward to it as only place with 18 inch pizza in Victoria and that s a standard size in uk and the pizza box it came in was barely 18 inches so it s not just that pizza all there 18 inch pizzas are not 18 and are 17 or smaller and I asked for extra cheese and it didn t even look like there was Extra cheese as you could still see lots of sauce I am extremely disappointed and will never be buying again It s just overrated Pizza. That doesn t even look that good to be honest. Second slice or local Pizza look/tastes better. And they actually 16 inches when they say they re 16, unlike the joint Pizza

The food is great. But I will say this last monday I was in the restaurant very late with some friends after the club. Some man in the restaurant probably in his 30s began completely undressing himself. He was naked. I left the restaurant and barfed outside. My boyfriend went back inside to ask the employee about it and they said they hadn t seen this happening. This place is really small and I m quite shocked none of the workers had any idea that someone was literally getting naked inside.

I just learned the ownership changed hands a couple of years ago.The current worker / owner is personable and provides great customer service. However, it is not the same artisanal quality flavored pizza that the original owner served. The company name should change with new owners when the same quality products are not being used. The previous owner used fresh bbq chicken which was the best. Trading off fresh chicken for processed is much a disappointment. The mushrooms, pineapple and bell peppers were fine. Actually, the pizza was better when eaten cold. This used to be the best pizza in town. Lucky for me there are still some pizza places about town that I prefer.

Tastes like everything comes from a can. Not awful but not memorable either. Think of Costco pizza but with 1/3 of cheese

Good Gluten Free Pizza

The Joint makes an excellent gluten free thin crust vegetarian pizza and it comes in two sizes which is unusual for gluten free. Love the tomatoes and feta cheese. Just the right amount of saltiness from the feta. Have had this pizza three times in the past month! The business has been taken over by new owners who are very friendly. The restaurant is in an old part of town. Was very clean however the washroom needs a bit of help!

Pizza/toppings was average but slightly above average price. Probably best during peak times when food is moving fast but the slices I had at kid afternoon didnt seem very fresh.

Worst pizza I have had. Burnt tomatoes and dough feels like frozen pizza dough. I ordered Maddi Veggie and barely eaten a slice. Sides were burnt and pizza was tasteless. I could only taste frozen dough and burnt tomatoes. 0/5

Dietary restrictions: This was the only dairy free pizza I could find at 2 AM on a Wednesday night. It s good, just a bit expensive. The Southern Belle pizza is very spicy, which was a welcome surprise. Maybe it would be less intense with regular cheese to cut the spice instead of Daiya, but I didn t mind. I usually drown my pizza in hot sauce anyways.

Ordered a Hawaiian pizza. Received a thick, tasteless dough covered with canned tomato sauce, cold cut ham, canned pineapple and sprinkles of melted cheddar for an extravagant price... I hate to dunk on small businesses but you guys have to do much, much better.

Okay, let me start by saying I ve been in Victoria my whole life and I ve only had the odd slice here and there which has been great from The Joint. But ordered delivery for the first time and while the ingredients were fresh, dough really delicious, amazing texture and proportion to ingredients .every single thing I got was so salty I could barely eat it. I am not someone why is scared of salt, infact I usually salt food even when people don t think it s necessary. Maybe it is a one off, and I will probably give them another try but Joint, just thought I should let you know! Should be the best later night deliver place! (Also fyi delivery was prompt, pizza was fresh, delivery guy great)

Went here with my husband last Saturday night after going to a live music concert at a local bar. This finished the evening off perfectly! we tried their new garlic sauce pizza and practically ate the whole thing and their wings were fire! Next time I visit Victoria this will again be the night cap location. Ps PLEASE keep making the garlic white sauce pizza!!! So good!

Pizza was okay, wings took way too long to make but turned out alright. Customer service was horrible, not attentive what so ever. The cleanliness was also not well maintained either.

Hardest working pizza guys in town, I m a regular customer because I get off work at 1 am and it was my option for late night pizza, but after ordering for a while I m confident in saying this is the best pizza in town and they treat me like family. Highly recommended

Pizza came out fast and was tasty, if a little dry. They have my favourite soda EVER (stewarts) and that was sadly warm as the cooler broke. Overall highly reccomend

Ever since went under new ownership aka cheap foreigners, the pizzas are smaller and price is larger (shrink-flation), and of course they wouldnt even honour the coupon I had. Cuz theyre cheap. I was going to get two pieces of pizza. Now Im getting none and not going back. So much for customer loyalty. I DID go there for years. Not anymore.

Gluten Free rice crust pizza: The best GF pizza I have had lately, a large GF pizza is a bit up there in price but really it is worth it. The sauce is sweet but not too sweet. The aloha is the best in my opinion. They treat all GF pizza orders as if it were an allergy etc. I have never felt sick after a pizza from there for reference. I trust it and continue to order from the Joint.

VEGANS BEWARE. Came all the way from Van for this place. Specified I was making a custom pizza due to being vegan, preoceeded to order a small vegan pizza, Daiya cheese, plant based pepperoni etc, the pizza maker handed me my pizza and said here s the vegan pizza , turns out it had real pepperoni on it, and they were out of plant based pepperoni, which is why they most likely gave me the meat option, most likely thinking I wouldn t notice. It was nice for them not to charge but a pretty thoughtless action at best. Very saddened and disappointed.

I ordered online with intentions of having a pizza party for a co workers last day. I recieved an order confirmation and $150.00 was charged to my credit card. Well after over an hour, nothing has arrived so I checked my confirmation and it changed from confirmed to order did not go through. To make matters worse, I tried calling The Joint MANY MANY times and no one answers the phone. Absolutly rediculous. Ill be sure to spread the word to Never order from this place.

Ive been eating slices from this place for 23 years. Ive eaten pizza all over the world (including NYC and Rome) and they have the best crust I have ever come across. They have some combos we all know and some far more creative ones, too. Do yourself a favour, and hit this joint.

The best god dam gluten-free pizza I ve ever ever ever had! Disappointed I had to travel thousands of miles for this but man was it worth it!

We went here based on reviews, but after looking around and checking with a few patrons, we decided to leave. First, it appears quite dingy and dirty. Second, there are only a few booths and tables and they were grimy. This place seems to be oriented to takeout. Third, when I asked a few patrons what they thought, the answers were along the lines of It s okay rather than any raves. Finally, they only serve thin crust.

The Joint has delicious unique pizzas. I usually get a healthier pizza with whole wheat, basil pesto, and veggie potato toppings but make no mistake, the bread is fluffy, the basil pesto is savory, and the toppings are very satisfying. I sometimes get other pizzas like the veggie beef taco pizza or a typical veggie-meat and cheese and I am always pleased with how great they taste. I always feel welcome going into the pizzeria and I am happy they have a variety of vegan options.

The first time my wife and I hit up the Joint, the za looked and smelled so good that we bought enough pie for the next three days. Not to be missed!

I worked one shift as a Delivery Driver here, and they took 2 months to pay me for it! A very odd situation where Jeff kept making weird excuses like my chequebook isnt here or Im sick and cant think. I warned them that what they were doing was illegal, and finally after writing me a POST-DATED CHEQUE (for December 1st) they finally gave me the $120 they owed me... man, it was more work just to get the money than to actually work the shift! XD Im never ordering from or trusting this place again. yall can do what you want, but I feel obligated to share this. there are waaaay better pizza places in Vic e.g. Famoso, Standard Pizza, Fiamos, etc. <3

Latenight drunken pizza from here SLAPS. Someone wrote my name on the wall in there and I have gotten a lot of weird texts in the last couple of years. Unsure who did it, but provided for some great laughs! They are by the slice or whole pie which is great. Friendly staff and they are never rude! Will continue to eat here when I am drunk off my rocker.

Nastiest pizza I ever had. Paid $20 for 4 slices of pizza. Tasted old and stale, we found hair in one of the slices.

Dont like the whole wheat crust. Otherwise great pizza, just stick to the regular crust.

Quite possibly the very best pizza in all of Victoria, in my opinion. Everytime Ive been here the staff are friendly and serve with an enthusiasm that is hard to beat anywhere else. Very highly recommended for the quality of product and service.

Great calzones! I picked a strange assortment with pear, pulled pork and chicken and it tasted fantastic!! Definitely will be ordering from here again!

Plenty of parking out front, easy peasy to stop and grab a slice unless youre like Ken Murray and find driving a real challenge. Fortunately they always have slices available so I didnt have to be subjected to a whiny missive from Ken about how slow the service was or how much of his precious time was wasted because his pickup order wasnt ready when he stopped in to grab it. If Ken actually lived in Victoria and not Langford, he might be less irritable and might leave some Kinder reviews for struggling small business in Vancouver who are forced to endure his poor reviews and arrogant entitlement as they try their best to remain in business during a global pandemic that has resulted in countless businesses closing.

Their pizza is great, in fact, the joint pizzeria is better than I expected. I ordered the 14 custom pizza with the pineapple and chicken for about $26; A bit pricy, but worth every dollar.
