I visited your Langford location on Sunday around 1:00 PM, and you had already run out of brisket. This was mentioned to our group when we placed our order, and on top of that, we had to wait 30 minutes due to a glitch with the ordering system. A manual order process would have saved time. We watched our friends eat, then they watched us eat overall a frustrating experience. I ve had a much better time at your downtown location, so I hope these issues can be addressed.

Excellent food!

Had the most delicious melt in your mouth ribs, beans, tots, and brisket meal. Not too smoky or dry. You can really taste the passion and love they put into it. Parking: All around the right side to the back of the establishment theres plenty of parking, and a shinny new bike rack right out front. :D Kid-friendliness: Plenty of tables, picnic tables, and chairs, the chairs inside were very comfortable to sit in, all around family friendly, and fast service.

Amazing place with the best BBQ brisket Ive ever had. Its so dam tender and juicy your teeth can take a day off. Try the pit beans a side and dip everything into it. Great place great vibe excellent food.

Just in Langford for the evening and we googled good bbq and am I ever glad we did! The place was so nice, the waitress was amazing and the food was some of the best bbq I ve ever had! I ll be back to try the chicken burger someday for sure!

I LOVE this place. The majority of the menu is gluten free, including the fried chicken. The puddings for dessert are amazing and the cocktails too. We always receive exceptional service but a special shout out goes to Lex for her awesome drink mixing skills and for being so great with the kids- we definitely noticed the whipped cream mountain on the pudding!

Everytime we go to Jones its always like the first time. Friendly and accommodating staff. Brisket was amazing and pulled pork was to die for!

Sign said seat yourself. Had to ask for menu from server walking by after 10 minutes. After 20 minutes, no one even came to serve us. End up Walking out. Not getting my business if you can t even do the basics.

Whether I am eating in or doing take out Im am never disappointed!! BEST pulled pork poutine in town! 100%! Dining in service has always been very friendly and food is prepared quickly!! Food : 5/5

The food tasted great, but the Mama Platter ($75) was actually 50% coleslaw. Total ripoff. The staff also seem angry with the world and we didn t feel welcome at all. Also why am I tipping? I ordered from the counter and had to clear my own dishes no one asked if we were enjoying the food. I m sorry as great as the bbq was, it s not enough for me. I would suggest skipping this unless you do takeout. Kid-friendliness: NOT kid friendly. At least not preschool age.

Last night I place an Uber Eats order. My fried chicken dinner was not include in the bag that Uber delivered. I was very disappointed so I called to find out what happened. I was given the excuse that they had new staff and were very busy. This is no excuse for forgetting the fried chicken meal. In past I gave a 5 star review for Jones. Sure new staff and busy. But if someone isnt review all order that are being packed by new staff till they are up to speed. Sure they offered to fix the situation so I could order a new meal. But then Uber clawed back a portion of the meal cost. It was already get late for dinner. So I opted not to get a replacement. I have spent $100s of dollar over the last year with Jones and I dont feel like this situation has been sorted. If they want to make it right then fix the situation with Uber Eats.

Here for one night in Langford and decided on BBQ. Pork ribs, brisket and pork butt were delicious. Amazing selection of sauces. So appreciate the employee...wish I asked her name....who brought us a sampling of every sauce. She couldnt have been more kind or service oriented! Highly recommend!

This is one of my go-to spots if I dont feel like cooking or just in the area in general. I always get the big crunch chicken burger, and its literally falling out of the bun as the piece is so big! Ie had plenty of other meals and dishes and nothing I can complain about.

I got most of what l ordered, but was missing some items .disappointing to say the least. The food that I did get was not terrific. It was very loud, and service was lacking. We took a friend there for his birthday, and none of us will be back.

Food was meh brisket was dry for smoked brisket it fell apart but not in the good way. The fried chicken? Well Im 80% sure thats a pre made frozen piece of chicken that was refried which did not taste rad at all if Im wrong please feel free to correct me. The slaw was bland but added malt vinegar to it and it was much better! Fries were chewy and probably were sitting for a while. Server was great. Atmosphere was ok Not really for me but others may enjoy it more.

Was in town for the lifesaving national championship over the weekend, we were starving after being on deck 12+ hours Saturday. Checked skip nothing tickled our fancy hopped on Uber eats found Jones BBQ. OMG. I own a smoker in Alberta, Im a butchers daughter, I do my own high end bbq, Im fussy about bbq. Jones had amazing brisket, the pork butt was excellent and their jalapeños sausage was sumptuous. Teen had their baked beens and we both loved the corn bread. We both devoured our meals, more food than we should have, but man alive, it was so damn good. Then finally a food coma kicked in with sheer exhaustion .. night night dreams of amazing dinner just eaten. Thanks, J&B

Perfect treat for a rainy day. Lots of space on the heated outdoor patio. My partner and I split the Mamas platter for 2 and still came away with extras for later. Was good to sample everything Jones in this way as neither of us had visited before and didnt know what was good. Turns out all of it was good! Friendly staff, fantastic service.

Assistant manager, Athena was very helpful and knowledgable about the menu for a 80th birthday Party that I needed some food for. I was very impressed with the ease of ordering and pick up the meal. I live in Vancouver and the birthday party was in Colwood Vancouver Island. Highly recommend trying their delicious menu. 5 Stars!

I had a great pork butt and brisket 2 meat plate. I enjoyed the pit beans and tatter tots. Nice southern decor and a beautiful patio. Service was good and the place was clean. Can t ask for much more. Thank you Jones. I will be back for another meal.

Most people write about meat for good reason. However, I want to comment on amazing taste in the pickles and the cornbread. So delicious. And the homemade lemonade could not be improved. Highly recommended!

Feels like it may have taken them a bit to get their footing, and understandably so, but they are absolutely at LEAST on par with the Victoria location now. And that is saying a LOT. How can you duplicate perfection? Clearly they ve figured it out. Insane! They ve also improved on the only things the Victoria location is lacking, bigger/more comfortable dining area and better location/parking.

The platter was coveted with hot spice in everything. My husband cant eat spice.Thae drinks took 15 minutes Service was nonexistent. We couldnt eat.So asked for a refund manager said they must have spoiled spice on player. No apology But still charged us for our drinks. Never again

Rub used on the ribs wasnt really to my taste. Brisket sandwich was good but could have used more actual brisket. Great fries. Did not enjoy the beans with meat drippings at all, very greasy. Very small choice of beers and they were out of the only decent one. Counter girls were a riot lol.

Eager to see what Jones had to offer and overall we were impressed. The meat was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the ribs and my partner loved the sausage (which I also thought was delicious, and had a nice kick). But we both found that the sides could have been better. I did not enjoy the coleslaw (bland) or cornbread (it was dry and grainy) and we both found that although the beans tasted great, they were undercooked and some still hard. Otherwise, an enjoyable experience

Friendly service, their brisket sandwich is unrivalled

It was only ok. The pulled pork was dry and way over sauced probably to try and hide how dry it was. For the prices I expected so much more. The atmosphere is good , clean and inviting. It does have a dive feel but in an ok way. Small amount of parking. Decent variety of adult beverages and pop. Small portions for the price .

Excellent BBQ. Enjoyed the brisket sandwich. Lots of smoked brisket piled high on a soft buttery bun. Simple with pickles and homemade BBQ. The simplicity is the pickles are excellent and the BBQ sauce just right. Not thick, not too sweet and not too much. Very much enjoyed it. The beans were excellent as well as the coleslaw. Fries were so crispy and delicious. Sitting outside in the covered patio on a picnic table was excellent. Fast and friendly service. Will return!

$98 for 3 of us including tip. We each had the 2 meat plates with pop. Healthy sized portions. All three of us had brisket as one of the meats. One of the 3 plates had considerably less brisket than the others. Smoked chicken thighs were tough and dry. Coleslaw was terrible, extremely bland. Pit beans great, potato salad good. This is my weekly takeout spot, for authentic Texas style barbecue. Can t go wrong with anything on the menu but the meat plates are the best value. Try the brisket & ribs! Also sandwiches are 1/2 price after 8 pm with purchase of a drink.

Food and Service were beyond amazing. They indoor seating is a little cramped, but thankfully, they have plenty of outdoor seating thats heated as well. Will definitely be going back. Their brisket was by far my favorite, but everything tasted delicious.

My husband and I both had the brisket sandwich with a shared side of tater tots. The brisket was very tender, perfect smoke and the sauce was delicious! The tater tots were crisp, no greasiness! Staff and service great!

Got takeout - Food was cold. Paid $20+ for a sandwich with a big hunk of beef bone in it. Almost split my tooth. Bottom bun of the sandwich was like a sponge filled with grease. Also, didn t get the tater tots I ordered. Lives up to the stereotype of the new BBQ place in town, sad.

Ordered sweet tea they gave me 3 options not sweet half sweet and sweet I ordered sweet but it wasnt sweet at all they offered another pack but if were starting at bland I doubt another pack is going to change things Ive spoke with others they all agree if your going to offer 3 levels of sweetness it should be sweet please use real sugar and make a new sweet tea whatever youre using isnt working.

We got what amounted to the platter for 2. Plenty of food for 2 people but apart from the sausage.. incredibly bland! No sauce (it was self serve so to reach their own I suppose) and no detectable spices. It was the strangest bbq we ve ever had as everything seemed to be cooked well, and could have been tasty, but lacked any and all flavour. I guess I d recommend the slaw, it was done well and maybe the spiciest item on the plate!

Came in for dinner last night and it was very well cooked. Lots of people enjoying the atmosphere, great place. Unfortunately it was a little to spicy for the us, we got the mama platter. The sausages were incredibly hot/spicy , same as the ribs and chicken. All perfectly cooked, super even smoke in the ribs. That brisket was absolutely delicious!Unfortunately probably 60$ of the 75$ platter went in the bin.

Real Texas-style Bar-B-Que!! Almost like being in Austin Standout for me - Pork Butt - but home-made sausage and Brisket also great. Great Pit Beans include meat - almost more like a chili con carne. Tip - Happy Hour 8-9 every day - sandwiches half price with a boozy drink . Parking: Limited but can park nearby (across road) Kid-friendliness: Outside covered patio with heaters. Wheelchair accessibility: Ok the flat, tables inside have chairs so ok - outside normal picnic tables so less accessible.

Tasty BBQ ribs and chicken, plus the pit beans are fantastic. Two meats and one side with generous serving size for $21 is a great value.

Wow, try walking down the street and not walking into this place once you get a whiff of the BBQ as you walk by. Its a little pricey for a lunch, but the quality of the food is well worth it and the portions are big, meaning it will probably be your only meal that day. Great local eatery.

This is one of the best BBQ places Ive been to, and Ive experienced RibFest in Ottawa! The Big Crunch Chicken Sandwich is phenomenal. Ive tried the meat plates too, and there isnt one item that doesnt deliver. Highlights are the brisket, sausage links, and chicken thighs, pit beans, and cornbread. You wont be disappointed! Update: They now have breakfast and I have no idea why they dont have people lined up out the door on a Sunday morning. Went right at opening, and it was quiet. My companion got the chicken and waffles, and I got the standard breakfast, but there wasnt anything standard about either of them. Amazing flavors and portions made this our new go to breakfast joint. Prices were great for the value. Run! Dont walk!

BBQ Rib Tacos were excellent!

One of my favorite spots in Langford for a quick bite. I mostly order the house salad, but we ordered the Christmas dinner for 2022 Christmas, and it was fabulous, tasty and huge portions. The brisket is to die for! In my opinion this locations is even better then the Victoria Jones.

Everybody s**** on Walmart for being a terrible company, but its one of the most friendly and welcoming stores to shop at. Im always greeted when I enter the store and the staff are always nice and friendly to me. Jones could learn a thing or two about making customers feel welcome and appreciated. The food is great but the staff appear genuinely unhappy and annoyed to be working here.

We love Jone BBQ to begin with but they just did all the food for our wedding and it was the absolute best. The care and attention that went into the food and presentation was no less than their individual services at the restaurant. The food was second to none and every single person at the wedding was blown away by the amazing meal. The service and assistance leading up to the event was exceptional and they made it easy as could be! Even the day of the wedding, their communication and assistance made it a dream. The serving sizes were on the larger side & the meats were very tender, but my family & I (6 of us) all expected more flavor in the meats. We also didnt expect as much heat as there was in the sauce that was drizzled over the big crunch poutine & brisket poutine.

Food was really good and staff were friendly. I got the brisket, pulled pork, potato salad and cornbread. The meats were super tender and flavourful. The potato salad was good but a bit too much salt. Cornbread was touch dry but flavour was good. Not 100% sure which bbq sauce i grabbed as the bottles arent labled (just a sign of what they have) but it was good too. Definitely recomend and will be back

Also Im sure they changed the recipe on their coleslaw, Im sure they had apples in it before. Anyway, wasnt pleased with my meal today! Only have it a 2 stars today.

Best BBQ on the Island without a doubt. Brisket is truly unbeatable out here. Menu is great, lots of options for food and drinks. Sadly the last few times I ve been, the ribs have been much dryer than they were at the Cook St location. I m a big ribs guy so that s been a disappointment. Everything else has been outstanding though.

walked in the restaurant it was dead, (never a good sign) anyways ordered about 80 dollars worth of food and it looked good when arriving but the taste wasnt there. The food and plate it was severed were ice cold. wouldnt recommend Food

Stale buns, no crispy cheese (not as advertised), extremely fatty and tasteless meat, not enough sauce, and cold sad tater tots. Felt completely gross and disappointed after eating. Never again.

I love this place! I always share the meat plate with a friend, its more than enough.....if you have not tried it, go now!

The wife and I decided to visit the Langford location. It was my first time at a Jones. I got the brisket poutine, and my wife had the taco with fries. We were treated very good, and the meal we had chosen was superb The portion size was on point, and even bigger than what I was expecting. We went to tip the woman who served us, but she refused. That was a first. She even gave us complimentary desserts! We will definitely be coming here again, as the food and service was absolutely top notch If you love meat, this is THE place to go and eat it. 8/5

Never been here! Had to try! Did it deliver? Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh!!! Food was yummy and the staff were cool!
