The Landmark Oyster House is located in the seaside fishing village of Victoria By The Sea, in Prince Edward Island. We are Island owned and operated. We are a lively Oyster House serving the freshest PEI food from land and sea with a variety of oysters to choose from. Our staff are professional, and we pride ourselves on amazing food, vibes, and service. We can't wait to meet you for the first time or see you again! Marly & Greg Anderson
You go for the oysters! You can order 1 or as many as you want! I had never had an oyster so I started with one. So fresh.
The Hot Lobster Roll was EXCELLENT! The lobster was incredibly fresh, flaky, and perfectly prepared; and the caesar salad on the side was delicious. Cute atmosphere, and lovely staff too. Defiantly a wonderful place to visit.
Loved this restaurant.....perfect table for two with the smell of the ocean coming in and a warm environment. Food was lovely and service excellent....not too much...not too little.... Will definitely be returning. Next time I'd have the seafood.....this time had the burger which was delicious....very filling.
Omg THE BEST in every category!! Met the owner Marlie she is so sweet really cared. Food 100% perfect. The atmosphere felt like home and more. Dinner plates were first class!!!! So excited to come back.
We dined here the first evening in PEI. This restaurant had a cool vibe and was very welcoming. Loved the decor and the fact that a house was converted to a restaurant. Our group ordered a number of items. Everything was tasty n the seafood was very fresh.
My husband and I enjoyed an amazing meal while staying in Victoria a few weeks back. The atmosphere was relaxed and polished. We sat out in the screened in patio which was lovely. Our meal was amazing, much of it suggested by the very kind and knowledgeable waitress. The cocktails were cold and delicious, the oysters were fresh and I really enjoyed the house made mignonette. We had the special curry and coconut milk steamed mussels, the beet and pecan salad and the fish tacos with the potato salad. After all that amazing food I was disappointed that we were just too full to try any of the amazing desserts. My only complaint about the Landmark Oyster House was that the food and atmosphere was so great that it set such a high bar for any of the other restaurants we tried while in PEI. I sincerely wish I could have enjoyed a second meal there. Until next time!
We dined here the first evening we arrived in PEI. This restaurant was warm and welcoming. The seafood was out of this world fresh. It's definitely one of the best places we dined throughout our vacation. Great food and service.
I had a lot of oysters from different restaurants during our PEI trip and theirs were the best I had! And food portions were very filling. They also have nice washrooms and even have bug spray and sunscreen.
This place gets high marks. Very friendly staff and amazing food and drinks.
Awesome friendly vibe and chef accommodate all of our dietary restrictions! Amazing and delicious lobster roll. A must go to if you are visiting Victoria!
Dietary restrictions: They accommodated my food allergies and were great about it! The burger with Bourbon BBQ sauce was amazing! Food
Shall I say, freshest oyster in PE!!! It s a MUST TRY
Great food !!!
Have a seafood chowder and taste awful. Fish look like rotten for years. Would not recommend
OMG thats a 10/10. Will go again for sure Food : 5/5
Excellent food and service!
Nice little find to discover seafood. We chose the seafood chowder. We did not regret this choice, the plate was filled with beautiful pieces of fish, mussels, etc. A detour that is worth the flavors we discovered.
We travel to Victoria, PEI every year, and during our week of vacation we dine here at least three or four nights, the food is simply exceptional! The service is incredibly friendly and professional. The cocktails are delightful. As someone with food allergies, they are incredibly accommodating and compassionate! This restaurant is a must stop for anybody visiting the area or staying in Victoria. We give it five stars, and are always impressed each and every year at how sublime the food is, the friendly employees, and the joyful atmosphere! Vegetarian options: Incredibly accommodating for any needs. Dietary restrictions: I have both celiac and an allergy to dairy. I always have a variety of delicious foods that are safe to eat. Kid-friendliness: It s a warm family atmosphere!
I went here with my mother and aunts 5 years ago. They each have different dietary restrictions, and it was no issue for everyone to be accommodated and thoroughly enjoy their food. I went back last week with my wife who got the oysters AND the mussels and I got the charred haddock and boy we ll be talking about this meal for a long time! Yum! She said the oysters were the best thing she ate our whole trip. Friendly wait staff and lovely atmosphere. Love this place. Dietary restrictions: Easily accommodated allergies (gluten, shellfish, dairy)
We had a really great meal here tonight. Chowder was delicious, great mussels with red curry/coconut and charred haddock. Nice atmosphere and gracious service. Well worth a drive out to Victoria by the sea.
Delicious food! We had great oysters, mussels, and a salad. Kind and prompt service.
Great spot for an afternoon lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious.
Good food and excellent customer service by Veronica. I had Mussels and Oysters. Oysters available on that day: Sand Dunes, Colville Bay, Fortune Bay.
We come to Victoria every year for a week and always eat 3-4 times at the Landmark. By far one of the best places to eat in PEI!!!!!!! Dietary restrictions: My wife is GF/DF. She eats here safely and is able to have something different every time! Not typical of most restaurants we go to!
We had lunch at Landmark Oyster House. The food was incredible, the service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Big thanks from B+B at Sunbury Cove Winery PE . Highly recommended
If your passing through and want to check this place out i promise you wont regret it.
Everything was just perfect for me and my friend. Spectacular
In our opinion, Landmark has the best oysters on the island and the best service too. Jasmine was our server and she is amazing. We had her last year and it was great to return to her this year! The atmosphere is cozy, posh and unique. We came for oysters and drinks but would like to come back for a meal. The spinach dip was homemade and delicious as well. Cant wait to come back next year for dinner on our next visit to PEI.
We highly recommend this restaurant! Dietary restrictions: This restaurant has several gluten free options. Food : 5/5 |
Might be the best restaurant experience weve had in PEI. The quality of the seafood was top tier with some of the best oysters on the island and it was nice to see local farm to table ingredients (Soleil farm greens in the beet salad). Amazing service and food was incredible. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone look for some of the best food the island has to offer.
Everything was delicious. Oysters, linguimi and shortcake. Polite, courteous and efficient service. OK atmosphere, music not too loud but it was a little hot. I still loved it!
Awesome place!!service was great! Food was awesome! My wife and I tried the oysters and the seafood linguine was delicious!
Fantastic place. Really good food (and very GF friendly). Atmosphere is impeccable, and Jasmine provided amazing service!
Best meal on the island!
Everything was very good
Stopped here for oysters a beer while visiting Victoria, PEI. The oysters were great as was the service.
My wife and I had supper here. We started with the baked oysters and they were fantastic. I also recommend the Mac & cheese.
By far my favorite spot in PEI. The hot butter lobster rolls, oysters and bloody caesar are a must !
GREAT place for local seafood. Not too fancy, but fantastic food and atmosphere. Enjoyed oysters and haddock. Desserts were great too.
Best Oysters in PEI!
This is the second time we have had dinner at the Landmark. My husband is an excellent cook so we rarely eat out but when we are on the island The Landmark is now a must. The fish is fresh, the creative sides complement the main dish and the atmosphere is cozy. The kitchen graciously accommodated my need for a gluten free meal and the sampling of different raw oysters was amazing. Thank you, Landmark, for providing such fine fare.
Best Mothers day meal ever.
Food was amazing and the sangria was delicious. I am so lucky to be a local and come back again and again
Perfect dining experience (we chose to sit in the sun, outside the front doors). Delicious food and fantastic service. Best place weve eaten at so far in PEI!! Im gluten-free and they had good options. Some Vegetarian options are off-menu. Vegetarian options: More options off menu Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options
Our experience was truly memorable the mussels, fish tacos, dessert - the very best so far on PEI. The server was so attentive, and the owner was very engaging. We will definitely spread the word when back in Ontario
would give six stars if I could, nough said.
Wouldn t change a thing about our experience. Sat on the porch and enjoyed a blueberry ale, splitting the scallop dog and Caesar salad. My partner had the red ale and some oysters also. Every detail down to the china was on point.
I can confidently say the food was excellent as we were a party of 7 and everyone had different dishes all of which were delicious. Beautiful restaurant in a seaside town. Service was first rate.
Its been awhile, but stopped for supper while touring with a visiting cousin...we spent quality time there as youngsters while vacationing at our grandparents. My companions ordered the fish tacos (thumbs up) while I chose the fish cakes. The best I have eaten anywhere, bar none! Four out of five for atmosphere because it was a bit cool...remember this is mid-April on PEI. Well be back!
Cute spot. Nice architecture in the town.
Food and staff were awesome
This was my second visit and glad I decided on this instead of something in Charlottetown. They had a prix fixé special one starter and two mains for $55. These were full size portions I couldnt eat it all. I had Thai mussels starter. Fresh tender local PEI mussels in a lightly spiced coconut milk broth. Fish tacos had a nice citrusy garlic sour cream aoli with crunchy cabbage greens and lime juice, served with potato salad. Jerk chicken boneless breast suprême-style was lightly spiced (I usually go for eye watering scotch bonnet heat) nicely moist meat. Served with red cabbage salad, some leafy greens, and mashed potato. I didnt have oysters this visit but tried a selection last time. Super fresh only tasted of the sea and the oyster.
This is a must visit on the island. Beautiful harbour front view just minutes away, perfect for catching PEI s famous sunsets. The oyster house itself is seemingly a residential building turned into a restaurant. As a result, the atmosphere was very intimate and homey . Perfect for a date night. Oysters couldn t be fresher if you had picked them out of the ocean yourself. Lobster roll was also noteworthy, but don t forget to get an order of their mashed potatoes. Best I have ever had. I usually keep my reviews brief but this place is one that you write home about.
Very pleasant little restaurant! We stopped by in the afternoon for oysters and a beer and had a great time. The waitress was very nice. The covered patio is very comfortable. I also really liked the fact that they had supplies in their bathrooms such as moisturizer, sunscreen, feminine hygiene products etc.
Just great!
WOW! This has been the highlight of our eastern trip. Searching for top PEI oyster spots via Google I saw a nod to Landmark and the quaint village of Victoria by the Sea. Food, service and atmosphere far exceeded expectations. I think we were fortunate to arrive at a relatively quiet time, on an early June Sunday mid-afternoon,;so I would recommend confirming a reservation ahead of time. Fresh oysters on the half shell with homemade mignonette and other handcrafted toppings were plump and delicious. Lobster rolls, haddock special, and salads were spot on. Our one (of three) who is not a seafood lover decreed these to be top notch nachos (Cala is a nacho connoisseur). Friendly, fastidious, and fun service topped off the experience. We are from Ontario, but will definitely find an opportunity to return to Landmark Oyster House. Kid-friendliness: Children were welcomed warmly, catered to and treated like all customers. Fantastic family experience - especially for seafood lovers.
Excellent dinner, I wish we could have tried everything on the menu! I had the fish cakes and my husband had the braised beef rib. Both were excellent! I also had a non-alcoholic PEI beer which is a really nice option when youre pregnant! And we shared a dessert all for less than a 100$. Great food at a great price. Would strongly recommend.
I had an excellent meal here, hard to beat freshly shucked PEI oysters and a big bowl of PEI mussels.
Shelly was wonderful, her service was top notch. My brother and I spent 4 days on the island and the Landmark was definitely a favorite. The oysters were fantastic, plump and sweet. Lobster roll was one of the best ever. Linda s Caesar salad with lobster was so flavorful. Dinner was totally superb. Definitely will talk about this meal for a long time to come.
Late afternoon cocktails.
Such a great little spot! Food was excellent as was the service. Great atmosphere. Their oyster shucker is fantastic. Each one was perfect. Salmon board was outstanding with a lot of food. Server was very kind! 10/10
Great service ..food was really tasty ..I had seafood linguine .
Outstanding service and fantastic foods.
Attentive service, such a cute and well decorated spot and the oysters are on point! The warm lobster roll is also amazing and they have a good cocktail selection. Highly recommend the detour.
Wuaint eastcoast eatery bursting with down home hospitality. Food was spot on and the place was absolutely charming!! Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids, mine are hyper and this place was great
Chowder!!
Some of the best oysters I ve ever had, and the lobster rolls (both the cold and hot ones) are incredible. Shelly was such a sweet server, and I can t wait to come back
We had an amazing dinner here while on a girls trip to PEI. The seafood chowder was the best Ive ever had. We also enjoyed their beet salad, burgers with bacon jam and the fish tacos were best on the island. Id definitely return!
I was really sad I didn t get to try this restaurant as it was the first on our list for oysters in PEI (travelling far from Ottawa for this - first time in the east coast yay!) We arrived at 7:00 and were told they were full for the night (closing online is 8pm) though there were some tables available inside and the two seaters outside too. The delivery of the message also was very curt. They may have been sold out but that s not what we were told. Judging by the reviews it seems the food is absolutely amazing, but given their popularity they should clarify comms to set expectations and avoid disappointments as I m sure many patrons travel from far to try their food (something like an online booking system, or a first come first serve and often sold out before close kind of message).
Very warm little restaurant where all the staff are kind and welcoming. Everything we ate was excellent. The scallops were cooked to perfection, the oysters delicious and what about the clam chowder which was simply the best I have ever eaten. Thank you for the excellent service and all the accommodations for our children. A favorite that highlighted our visit :)
Oh by JOVE! We had SUCH a great meal at Landmark Oyster House! No one else in my party was interested in oysters so I just got one each of the three options they had and all were delicious. The scallop dog sandwich I had for my main meal was INCREDIBLE. My mom proclaimed her lobster roll the best on PEI. My daughters got burgers and raved about them. On top of all the yummy food, our waiter was so charming. He had a great sense of humor and took good care of us. Oh and the decor (we ate on the porch) was so so charming. I HIGHLY recommend Landmark to anyone who is headed to Victoria by the Sea! Kid-friendliness: I was there with two 11 year olds, a 13 year old and a 14 year old and our server was so kind to them.
TO.DIE.FOR We run Bed & Breakfast/ Cottage (Coastal Escape PEI) just 5 minutes away, and have been sending our guests here for 5 years. Here is why This place should be on PEI To-Do list 100%. Food is beyond delightful, and your host will always welcome you with a smile.
A fantastic find in the middle of the quaint Victoria by the sea! Oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious. Chowder was fantastic and the service and atmosphere were exceptional. Will go out of our way to return!
I went here for oysters, the baked oyster was very good but the PEI bourbon burger was the best hamburger I have ever eaten. Just amazingly well cooked, perfectly seasoned. I almost went and kissed the cook.
My husband and I had an excellent experience at Landmark Oyster House during our honeymoon! The food is fresh and quickly served. The staff is friendly and the bartender Cody, who was waiting on us, treated us to a complimentary dessert. I had the fish tacos and my husband had the bacon bbq burger. Definitely recommend and would come again!
We ate lunch here on the way from Halifax to Charlottetown after crossing the bridge. The food and service were excellent. It was in a charming house in a charming town. Parking: Street parking and a short walk depending on when you get there.
Amazing experience! The food is absolutely delicious. It is a must-go in PEI! We had a dozen oysters and the traditional lobster roll which were both to die for! The atmosphere is great as it is right by the sea dock, the employees are very friendly and full of energy. I highly recommend going!
The fish cakes and traditional lobster roll were spot on!
AMAZING EVENING We had an amazing experience at the Landmark Oyster House. The food was perfect (beautiful Charred Haddock, delicious oysters and the fresh greens) and Alex was funny, interesting and welcoming. That restaurant is a must on PEI!
Just went here for lunch. Had a cup of fish soup, which turned out to be more like a bowl, pretty good size, and a lobster roll. Service was great, very friendly and efficient. Food was great. My wife said that her oysters were the best shes had on PEI. The location is certainly out of the way, but its very much worth the drive. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. I think wed go back but were staying 30 km away.
Oysters are fire!) The freshest, freshly caught)
This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal. The smallroom settings, music, decor and delicious food with a great menu add up to a good time. The staff are friendly and courteous, adding the welcome of PEI.
This was one of our favorite restaurants in PEI! The food is delicious- best seafood chowder and lobster roll I had on the island. The oysters were phenomenal too. The location is super cute and quaint in a Victorian home. Highly recommend stopping here!
We enjoyed our lunch very much. I had mussels, although good, they lacked a bit of flavour therefore the 4 stars.
Exceptional. Best food I ve had on PEI. Warm welcoming atmosphere and terrific service. Price wise about the same as everywhere else so a great value as well!
Most delicious! Super friendly staff. Fun decor and fire and cosy wool blanket throws on the porch.
My wife and i love to dine, we are foodies. This is by far our favorite. The charred haddock is absolutely amazing!! Cooked to perfection everytime. Excellent service and the restaurant itself is very cozy and inviting. Make sure you make a reservation as this place fills fast. Thank you Landmark for the excellent service. We will be back!!
My wife and I will always remember our trip to PEI and especially the cold and rainy night we went to Landmark Oyster House. We didn t have a reservation and there were no tables available BUT the manager Cody and his team were only too happy to transform their little outdoor patio into a cozy, romantic and yummy dining experience! You don t always find this level of Hospitality but we found it here! Thank you!
Awsome food! Quaint village for a walk after your meal:)
Very pleasant staff, fast service, great food. I would definitely recommend a bowl of their seafood chowder.
Delicious food and delightful service!
First raw oyster & they were delighted. I highly recommend them and the fish tacos...yum!
Very helpful staff, and amazing oysters. Heated screened patio which makes outdoor eating super comfortable, even in shoulder season.
Had the haddock special. Excellent!!
Service, ambiance, and food are excellent. Love this place!! Cant stay away.
Best spot on the southshore (all shores?!), bar none!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Highly recommend the place.
The best cuisine weve had on our NB and PEI trip so far. The baked oysters, steamed clams, scallops and fish tacos were great. The lobster in the lobster roll was also great but the preparation was very simple, only mayo. Wed like to see a plate with scallops and lobster that doesnt involve a roll. Overall a great experience!
Adorable little spot, some of the best food i ve ever eaten
My first visit and I loved it! The charred haddock was simply delicious! As was the strawberry shortcake. Service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely be back!
Loved everything about this place! From the cute little building and the wonderfully polite greetings to the absolutely amazing food! I have nothing bad to say. We got the smoked salmon board and it was delicious, mains we got the fish tacos and the charred haddock and they were the best weve ever had! Dessert was an apple crumble which was also delicious, very reasonably priced for the portions and quality of the food!!happy I found this cute little gem!
Incredible food and even better service. Even coming in late and close to 9, all staff was super friendly and accommodating. Wish wed come more nights! Thank you for such good service Landmark Team!
Best seafood pasta I have tasted anywhere!! Amazing food and service! Favourite meal from our whole visit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a lovely meal, amazing service and atmosphere. If we come back we will be returning.
This place is really special and homey. The oyster selection is amazing and all the food was delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely return if were ever back in PEI.
The best meal that I had on my trip to PEI. All food was made with love and very fresh.
Fish tacos with next to nothing in them a rip off of the premium kind!!! The table in front of us had the same thing with the taco shells heaped full and we order them with nothing in them this was a go to place for me , I sent people there and we took out of town guests there tonite but will never go back or send anyone there!!! Being a retired chef with 40 years in Hotels people ask me all the time where to go and this will not be one of the places I recommend anymore!!!!
Mussels were delicious. Lobster roll was very light. Service was friendly.
We were invited to a show at the Victoria Playhouse, so Caroline made a five pm reservation for four at the restaurant. We were seated immediately upon arrival and were soon perusing the drink and supper menus. Caroline decided upon the Charred Haddock, Crusted Pan-Fried, House Made Tartar, Creamy Tangy Slaw, while I was Interested in the Beefeater. Slow Roasted Shaved PEI Beef, Horseradish Creme, Swiss Cheese, Crispy & Pickled Onions Our party ordered the Oysters as a starter, five oysters and slices of baguette served on a bed of lettuce while I started with a side of the Dill Potato Salad, that would also accompany my sandwich. The creamy potato salad was wonderful! Red skinned new potatoes served with enough onion and dill to give it life and each forkful was lovely. I was supremely happy that I had another serving to look forward to with my entree. Caroline offered me a piece of her charred haddock, and I was a bit surprised at the crisp blackened coating that topped the morsel, and as I crunched through into that white fleshed fillet I thought perhaps I d made a mistake in my order, that is until I assembled the bun and took a bite. That creamy horseradish, pickled onion, cheese and brioche was the perfect vehicle for delivering succulent roast beef! This is a five star sandwich that I would love to have again. In fact, I m already trying to come up with an excuse to visit again. Caroline and I swapped halfway with our desserts. The apple crumble was moist and sweet served à la mode with a scoop of ice cream drizzled in caramel. She had chosen the white chocolate lemon cheesecake to start, and I found it to be a delightful rich lemon dessert, and that half was the perfect amount for me. I truly loved the cheesecake and would have been quite content sharing a slice between two. All in all the food and service was excellent and I can t praise the food enough. Caroline agrees that she loved the food, the company and the entertainment. A delightful evening out in Victoria. Thank you!
Good meals, and too expensive
Delicious food and the service was excellent!
Amazing seafood and great service
Dropped in for oysters, fish tacos and beer. The food was great the service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable.
Everything about our dinner experience was STUNNING!! Incredible spot!
I guess you need reservations... No indication on the website of this. When we arrived at 6:15 pm, we were told they would have a table available at 7:30 pm and to come back then. When we got back at 7:20 pm, we were told there would be no tables available at all for the rest of the night. Disappointing customer service experience. Wish we could have tried their food. Would recommend the restaurant implement online reservation system and waiting list for walk-in tables.
These folks do everything just right with a sure touch for balancing flavors
So, so delicious! My friend and I stopped here for a late lunch, we had a short wait and were seated in the screened porch. Chilly day, but they had blankets and a heater and it was very comfortable. But y all the food! I had the scallop dog, the scallops are like butter and everything else on it worked so beautifully, amazing Caesar salad on the side. My friend had the haddock, which was also like butter, just melted in the mouth. Very cute, charming place, wonderful service, too-notch seafood. Wish I could have tried everything on the menu!
Fabulous food. Service was excellent. Definitely a do over.
Excellent service by Karina. Very good food from the diverse menu. Oysters and lobster roll are a favorite.
Lobster Mac&cheese was very rich and filling. oysters were great
One of the best on the island!
Very nice place and good food
Love the renovations. Delicious dishes. Friendly staff. We made our next reservation before leaving. I highly recommend.
Good food, friendly staff
Wonderful! An anniversary treat!
Fantastic food, amazing atmosphere and the best service and hospitality a person could ask for!
Incredible service , food puts creative spins on some old time classics and is a relaxed and comfortable environment. Do yourself a favour and make your reservation now. You DO NOT want to miss out.
There isnt anything bad on the menu. Its all great!
Great oysters and very delicious food. Highly recommended.
very nice place ..clean and nicely decorated ...didnt go to the back bar area but the front area was very inviting
Service was great, the lobster roll was delicious! And the potato salad was really yummy
Wowwww, woww, wowwww, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. The taste is excellent, everything was excellent, the waitress was super nice, thank you so much. THANKS
Amazing menu and service! My new favourite restaurant on PEI!
Amazing culinary talent!!! Everything coludnt be more fresh and all items are home made from the coleslaw to the ice cream. Absolutely the best dining experienve ive ever had all ive travelled all over Canada. What a hidden gem!!! Ill definetly be returning. Great price point as well.
Fantastic. Food was amazing and the attention A+. We will definitely go back.
Tasty watermelon cocktail w a delicious plate of mixed local oysters & thoughtful service - nothing has changed. Txs so much.
Awesome food and service.
Delicious seafood dishes. Server is nice. Fair price.
Food and Service was top notch! We enjoyed everything about our experience. Already planning our next visit.
We enjoyed a really great meal here. Some of the dishes we ordered include the oysters, nachos, and pasta. All were delicious and well-prepared, and the staff provided friendly, knowledgeable service. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in Victoria.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and decadent oysters. Thank you !
We had the seafood chowder and the scallop dog. Honestly, it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice too, and the waitress was kind and did an excellent job. We ordered two oysters to try it out, and even with such a small amount, she took the time to explain the different types of oysters and made sure we were not missing anything during the tasting.
really bad experience
We got very disappointed. As it s one of our friend s birthday, she really wants to have oyster, we called before coming the restaurant, the receptionist told us that they have everything(oysters, lobsters and so on). So we drove half an hour to this place. When we arrived, the receptionist told us the restaurant is full! The kitchen is full! No more orders! No dining in! No take out! It s not their stated closing time yet, and we did called before we came. The receptionist didn t let us know the kitchen would close early. We came to PEI for travelling, we love PEI and would like to come back visit it in the future, but definitely never to this restaurant.
The staff are very friendly and service is excellent. It is very busy but yet they are attentive. The food was wanderfull. Flavorfull, a good variety. The oyster bar has a good variety. Look forward to going again
Really great food! Everything homemade and super friendly staff Casual dining but some of the very best we have had on PEI Definitely wanting to come back soon
Well, this is a must place to stop and dine. It is close to the Confederation Bridge ( PEI side). It is a cozy place with a friendly staff and great seafood. Good parking. It is located in a beautiful little village in Victoria by the Sea, PEI. A must place to visit. I t may stay open until November!!! Please check though online. This little seaside village is absolutely beautiful, with picture card scenery.
Phenomenal experience each time! Welcoming staff with great energy make the visit to this fine dining restaurant even more wonderful! Food prepared to perfection and served beautifully plated! Gluten-free options are part of the full menu! Too much for one sitting so I had leftovers from both meals I enjoyed there which was terrific! Best ever!
Fabulous food, lovely service, and the most amazing desserts!! Perfection in carrot cake and triple chocolate cheesecake.
I love everything about the Landmark!
Stopped in last weekend after touring the south shore and finding out all other restaurants in the area are closed for the year. Such a great cozy place with amazing food and drink and staff. Can t wait to go back!
Phenomenal experience. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Local oysters were unbelievably delicious. Would go back 100%.
Cannot recommend this place enough. The service was excellent and the food = outstanding!!!
Fantastic dining experience! The food, service and atmosphere were all top shelf. Discovered this Island jewel at the end of the season and will definitely be back next year. Highly recommend the scallop linguine.
Lunch at Landmark Oyster House was a highlight of our first trip to the Island. The restaurant itself is charming with an outdoor patio, smaller rooms inside and a cozy small area at the bar to choose from. We were lucky to get seats at the bar where you can watch your oysters being shucked firsthand by Marly, the owner nonetheless. The food is outstanding I think because of a talented chef but also due to their commitment to using only the freshest of fresh ingredients. Salads (we had green and beet) were perfectly dressed with fresh pea shoots and the best lettuce and goat cheese we had on our PEI visit. The oysters are outstanding - plump and so fresh you would think they came right from the dock after you order them. Beef Dip came with a homemade jus ( no powder here) served on beautiful bread that was the best we have ever had. There is plenty to choose from including beef tartare, a pot pie, chowder of course, quiche, fish and meat dishes. (The desserts looked amazing........next time). The selection of wine, beer and cocktails is far superior in quality than found in most rural/seaside establishments. I cant say enough about this beautiful restaurant. The prices are fair, the portions are perfect and the overall experience is a lasting memory. We cant wait to go back! Penny and Ian
Food just okay. Does not justify price tag.Short rib was fatty and the chowder was non descript. Service was good.
Great value, menu, food quality and service
New owners are doing a fine job. Delicious.
Fried oyster poboy sandwich is amazing
Excellent food, but not the place to go if youre in a rush.
Such a beautiful quaint spot in Victoria by the sea. Service was great and the food was fantastic. The Short rib is a must try!!! Highly recommended for both visitors and locals!!!
Wonderful food and wonderful staff
Delicious fresh oysters, the cocktail sauce is great. Service was attentive and prompt. Definitely recommend checking them out
Beautiful new Reno and delicious food
Great meal and atmosphere. Family run restaurant with fresh farm to table food. Put the exclamation point in our PEI vacation.
Fantastic evening at the Landmark! Awesome service from Bridget. Fish chowder was incredible, fish cakes were pan seared heaven and the smashed potatoes devine! The peach melba dessert is made with homemade sour cream ice cream ...you gotta try it! We cant wait to go back to try more of the menu.
Visited here twice. Some of the best chowder Ive had on the East Coast. The staff are asking and very friendly. It is honestly a small gem in this picturesque little town. Its a must visit.
Food is excellent. A few of us opted for non-seafood options as we had a lot of seafood over the past few days. The mushroom pappardelle was delicious (kids loved it), balanced by a good amount of vegetables. The short rib dish was one of the best we had. The best salad was fresh and dressed perfectly. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff.
Delicious as always, love the blackened haddock and the meat pie is great!
Lots of variety
Excellent food with friendly service. Highly recommend.
We had the Pan fried chicken with lobster and the Fish cakes with the mashed potatoes and the greens it was a amazing ps to any one want to know what MP means it Marked Price. If you are coming here make a phone call in advance a few days ahead to make sure you get a sit in side
The fact that there are more locals than tourists is proof of the deliciousness. Whatever you eat is delicious.
This was a great find with excellent home made food.
Very good food!!
Lovely atmosphere and great service and food, Ill be back.
Baked oysters and beet salad were amazing. Husband loved his meat pie, but should have asked for more gravy.
Excellent! Everyone should go!
Landmark Oyster House
Lobster and hospitality so good you will remember it forever.
Finally got to the Landmark Oyster House in Victoria Wednesday evening. I went through the door with sky-high expectations, Id heard amazing things from others who had visited Greg and Marlys newest adventure, and I wasnt disappointed! I was greeted inside the door by bartender Kieran, who showed us to our table. Manager, Leslie, was delightful and attentive. Mom and I were celebrating, and wanted to try as much as we could, so after a drink we decided on both the bruchetta toast and the beet and goat cheese salad with Maple vinaigrette to start. Both were delicious, but if I had to pick one Id say the bruschetta toast with my favourite. We had both the blackened haddock and the short rib for dinner, and while both were good the rib was the star of our entire experience. Tender, melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly cooked beef served over buttermilk smashed potatoes and seasonal roasted veg. Simply amazing. Chef Kayla nailed it. We were absolutely stuffed after our first two courses, but couldnt leave without trying at least one dessert. The lemon square with short dough and raspberry coulis was perfect. Incredible food, top notch service, cozy, elevated rustic atmosphere ... It was perfect from start to finish. And we even got to wish Miss Piper a Happy 6th birthday Congratulations Greg, Marley and team! I will be back next season for sure!
Well, lots of tourists. The food is good but expensive.
