Good food and wine. My smash burger wasn t a smash burger though.

The grilles salmon was great, service was nice, ambience a bit fancy schmancy but prices are fine.

Rude hostess. Booked a window table, got a table with a pillar. Sticky menus. Steaks, duck & seafood was mediocre. Overall a waste of money. Find somewhere else.

As I was awaiting my harbour plane I went to Milestones for a quick dinner. I ordered the filet mignon. They brought out a sirloin instead and then charged me for the filet. The sirloin was cooked perfectly and quite tasty but clearly the server and chef dont know their cuts of steak.

The view from this restaurant is even better in the evening during the holidays, we got to enjoy the Parliament house and the surrounding are all lighted up. Everything we ordered were delicious, they have amazing chicken wings for their appetizer! The service was slow due to the Santa Parade that just ended (we came from that parade too). As everything moved very fast, our server, Stephanie forgot to put in our appetizer request, but once she realize it, she handled it so well and we just really pleased with our overall experience. Can t wait to be back there next time we are in Victoria.

We had an amazing meal (steak sandwich with fries and salad), awesome beer (winter ale) and perfect kids menue with free icecream. Food quality and taste is unique! Our server s name was James, he was so cheerful and positive, his comments helped us choose what we desired, and his positive attitude made us happy and happier with our choice of restaurant! When we left the restaursnt not only we had amazing meal but we felt so happy and delighted! Clean delicious with magnificent view of parliment and harbour. Washrooms were meticulously clean! This became our regular place to eat out! the price is reasonable compared to the wuality and location.

Our server, James (from James Bay) was incredible. Funny and efficient and the food was great! All around good night.

Beautiful place, very nice atmosphere. But food was overpriced and lacking. For our party- two out of three meals came out so salty that one needed to be returned. Due to its location is a tourist place, wont be back.

I kept getting pop ups on fb advertising their new menu,Im not a fan of this restaurant but I was hopeful, I ordered the crispy fried chicken, omg GROSS, batter thick,slimy congealed soggy, NOT freshly battered and fried, out of a box,re warmed and NASTY

We loved the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Chilled Seafood Cobb Salad entrees, and the Spring Salad made a great appetizer. This is one of the best spots to dine with a view of Victorias inner harbour. Our server was helpful and provided great recommendations. The carrot cake was probably the best Ive had, and the ganache was also delicious.

Reasonably priced food that is simply delicious! Definitely try the Bellini! The service here is more than just basic friendly, these are really nice people who take pride in what they do. I will definitely come back!

One of my favorite restaurants in Victoria, since 1998 I visited this restaurant, now I went with my family. The lady who served us as a waitress was very kind, but the hostess was very cold when she received us. I dont know what would bother her because her treatment was very strange, but well That wouldnt ruin our stay, the food was very delicious and on point, thank you very much Milestones for existing!!!

Mid af, terrible service and the bartender can t make drinks to save their life. Place would ve died ages ago if it weren t for the location. So many better options in the same price range or lower that don t taste and present like they re right off the Sysco truck. I keep forgetting how absolutely piss poor and pretentious this place is every 5 years or so but not this time. Never going back.

Milestones has become an anchor in the rough seas of Victoria dining. It meets my criteria of a great restaurant with character, good food and reasonable prices. And while the dining scene has changed incredibly over the past few years with new social-dynamic staffing issues, shutdowns, supply chain problems and economic uncertainties, Milestones has weathered these with aplomb... Ive been taking my wife here for her birthday for many years, and shes been serenaded by German tourists, congratulated by staff, rewarded with sumptuous desserts and accompanied by friends and family through these milestones in her life, but we our patronage has always been matched by the good service, great food, super scenery and reasonable prices... And that last one is really important: I feel that the prices that Milestones charges for their meals are entirely justified by what you get, and thats refreshing in this era of most restaurants raising their prices to keep afloat and yet not raising their service or food to match those dollars... And we all know that dining out has been a luxury experience for many people, no matter where you dine!?! Ive never sent a meal back here. Or regretted my meal choice. Or dealt with surly staff. Or complained about the view or parking... I just had a great experience... every... time... I... go... Consistency can be underrated, and this place is my anchor.

Great food. I love that they have some decent plant based options, including crispy tofu as an addition to salad. Great service, but very, very loud. Conversation was really challenging. Vegetarian options: Decent selection of vegetarian and plant-based options, plus the ability to make some dishes vegan with substitutions.

My wife had our anniversary dinner there. I was surprised to get a table on a Saturday evening with such short notice. Great service and food was good. I have been dinning there many times over the years. The burgers are smaller but good. Best yam fries I ever had. Draft beer a bit over priced. $9.50/20oz. My local pub it is $7.50/20oz. Atmosphere very nice. Great for special occasions. Go during Happy Hour. We saved $5.00 on each meal which makes up for the overpriced beer. Parking: If you can find a free parking spot on the street during a busy time then you are very lucky. Paid parking at the harbor is $3.00/hour and there was plenty on a Saturday night close to the restaurant.

I recommend steak! The atmosphere is nice, and if you want to sit by the window and eat while looking outside, I recommend making a reservation.

Friday night in Victoria is difficult to get a table at a good resturant, we did and so glad we did, front desk was on it, server was on it, food was on it, beer was great,thank you Parking: 5-10 minute walk from the lower harbour is easiest

My husband and I stopped by Milestones for lunch when we were visiting Victoria. I was expecting your typical mediocre tourist food, but the location was nice so we decided to try it anyway. We were very pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of the food. We had an avocado and feta cheese appetizer that was served with chips (I think), and I had mussels for my main course, which were wonderful! I dont remember what my husband had, but he enjoyed it. And our waiter, Kieran, was perfect. He was attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommend!

I really love their California spring salad and their 1989 burger is great! Ask for James, he was our server and he is awesome!

For starters I watched a glass with ice of water literally explode in my wifes hand, spilling all the water on her lap. She was soaked ! and No she did not drop it. It actually shattered ! Our waitress looked at my wife as if she dropped the glass and dont believe her. Manager comes over to ask if everythings ok. We are the type of people that dont like to make a scene even though my wife did get a small cut on her arm. They clean it up and we proceed to eat. Now Im not one to look for any kind of discount for what just happened but at Cactus & Earls they would of done something for the inconvenience of my wife having to walk out of the restaurant and back to our hotel soaking wet. On top of this we order a to go order for our daughter back at the hotel. We checked the order before leaving at the door and noticed there was no spinach that came with the dish. We spoke to the front lady at the door and literally told us she was busy and would try her best to find out our waitress. We waited 10 min only to flag her down ourselves as I could see she was still sitting multiple people down and wasnt even looking for waitress. Eventually our waitress apologizes for the missed spinach and takes our meal back to the kitchen while we wait at the front. We waited for about 15-20 Min while we thought the meal was being remade as was discussed to only have the manager bring back the same meal that we gave them and said sorry we dont have anymore spinach. I had mentioned to him now this meal has been sitting with you for 20 plus minutes and all we got was Oh sorry about that . And walks away. We leave the building and then once more realize they had no utensils in the bag. Had to go back in the building and then now the manager says he would refund some money. Little too late dont you think !!! Where was that offer when my wife got soaked. Bad Bad Service ! This is the first time Ive ever written a complaint.

A nice place to eat by the Victoria Harbour. Great service and great food. Didnt have to wait too long. The coconut curry mussels dish was delish! 1lb of mussels - enough for 2 people to share and maybe add an appy. Hubby had the wagyu burger that had onion ring and bacon on top! It was a two hander for sure and quite good.

The most unique and best steak sandwich I have ever had anywhere in the world, warm potato salad was good too and all at a reasonable price for Victoria by the harbour.

The food is good and I enjoyed their outdoor seating but it took over 30 min for the bill to arrive after the table was cleaned off. The cocktails are delicious.

Our company had a conference and we wanted to entertain 65 staff and franchisees. We approached Milestones last minute and they were able to accommodate us in a private room downstairs. The food and atmosphere was great and Pat and her staff took great care of us. We highly recommend this location.

Our wait staff, Jade, was fabulous. We had a group of 7. Great service, great food. Next time we are I. Canada we will surely come back. Thank you for giving us a great experience.

Yesterdays dinner left us with wonderful memories. The hospitality and enthusiasm of the waiter James infected us. He even provided advance service. Seeing that we were from Asia, he took the initiative to bring hot water and chopsticks, which moved us deeply. , James is a very good employee and will bring a lot of customers to the restaurant.

Who would not love their bellinis? We went to this restaurant to try that. We tried to order food but unfortunately, when we came to the restaurant, most of what we would like to try was sold out. We did not want what we ordered that day, but it was all worth it. The staffs recommendation did not disappoint us. The Wham-bam shrimp was a 9 out of 10. It was a 10 but it took time before it was served to us. The pesto chicken asiago was good but nothing is surprising about it. I will update this review when we come back. The restaurant served mouth watering dishes and we will definitely come back to try more.

This was the first time in a very long time since We have been to this restaurant. Where it went Bad is that once we had ordered our drinks, our waitress had spilt my drink on me when she brought them to us. She was very quick and cleaning up, but didn t ask if I was OK, just brought napkins just to clean up the pop over my pants and then down into my shoes once I kinda got myself cleaned up. I sat back down the waitress came back to take our order, she asked the two ladies what they wanted, and then proceeded to walk away without even asking me what I wanted. The only thing I was disappointed with is that they either one didn t discount part of my meal or offer something on the house to apologize for this. To me, this is just a tourist trap or they don t care about the service. Just care about getting you in and out and getting a tip.

We had the pleasure of dining here twice. Located in an excellent position. All the dishes are excellent, the staff is very attentive to finding solutions for food intolerances, Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian ravioli with nuts, cheese and apples.

The good: Great waterfront location with views. Food was pretty good (I had the steak sandwich, kids meal options for mine were plentiful. Everyone is friendly. Bad: Maybe it was a bad night for the server, but waited 20 mins for our drinks after ordering them. 3 of the 4 main courses came out before our appetizer and the 4th main came 5 mins later. During our meal, 2 different servers brought over random food that wasnt ours. Everything seemed very disorganized.

For a tourist place we ate really well even if its not great cuisine nor a cozy place... the spicy salmon wrap very good and very spicy... very good Caesar salad and an excellent Burger.. so I recommend because no disappointment.. service a little cold but as long as the product on the plate is correct...

Baja fish tacos and halibut are not normally tasty, I havent had such good food in a long time and the sangria was neat and fresh with that warmth, highly recommended if you go to Victoria. Rant first Lunch Monday afternoon No steak knife given on ordering the steak eventually Knife placed with handle hanging off the table end by a blond girl who was more concerned with her appearance and how she walked than actually serving One beer took an age to arrive and the froth all but gone leaving that lovely large gap at the top which is a result of sitting still for several minutes waitress had lied saying she had just spoke to the barman and it s just getting made no clear up of used glasses on table (I had to hand the empty glass to the waitress after a semi full one arrived ) food was actually quite good recommend the steak Dishes were collected while 1 person was still eating and a knife had fallen off the collected plates back onto the table where it remained NO TOILET ROLL IN EITHER MENS OR WOMEN TOILETS I counted 12 staff members mostly young blonde girls in black skimpy shorts and black tea shirts high heals and no eye contact even from 3 feet away In summary. a big bit dissatisfied and the recruiter should have a serious look at themselves for what they should want in a waitress 3/10 awful!

sat on patio July 10th, had their wobbly umbrella fall onto me spilling all drinks onto me . Server didn t care or address it and our happy hour menu drinks ordered between 3-4 pm were full priced.

Great experience for our large group on a busy Saturday. We had dedicated servers who were excellent. Beautiful location. Parking: Parking is difficult, nothing nearby. Find a pay lot and walk in.

Food was outstanding! Service was slow, and appetizers coming out were even slower but tasty. The staff was very friendly but could have provided insight to us that the kitchen was behind, as we would have forgone our apps and just ordered dinner as we were on a time crunch. All in all, I would go there again if I was in the area.

Promising menu - but a huge disappointment. We had a late lunch here, restaurant was no more than half full. Service was pleasant but extremely slow. My daughter s vegetarian Tofu dish was served with a lump of chicken! My Wife s vegetarian Caesar salad had a piece of bacon in it! My steak was well done even though I had asked for medium-rare. Icing on the cake - no customer WiFi!! Somethings seriously need changing here.

By far the best patio in Victoria to hang out and watch the harbour activity, have some drinks and try some of the tasty menu items! The Thai Mussels are amazing! On a really hot day, we love going up top to the food truck Street Eats and Hooch for the tastiest lime margarita slushies! Service is always amazing, as is the food!

We had pictures of sangria on the patio at night. The patio had fire space heaters, and lit by string light. Amazing view of the legislature building and harbour. The sangria was delicious.

Always a great option for dinner as its located at an amazing spot downton. The atmosphere is great, and with a pleasant view of the inner harbour. They have good menu options and a nice array of drink options.

Not informed in advance of mandatory 20% gratuity... Forcing customers to pay 20% tip regardless of the service and on top of already high food prices is an insult and I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience. From the hostesses to the waiters, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The views of the government building and part of the marina out of the wall of windows were a stunning and fantastic way to end the night. The modern interior is simple and elegant. The food selection was fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of drink options from cocktails to mocktails to the different wines that would satisfy any customer. Highly recommend.

Poor service. I called right at open today at 11:00 am on a Monday to try reserving a window seat for my girlfriend and I tonight at 7:00, first they said they could do 7:30, I said that s fine. Then they changed their mind and said they might not be able to get us a window seat after all. Pretty disappointing

We went for dinner on a Saturday evening, we were a group of ten without a reservation. We were friendly accommodated and informed about the 20% mandatory tips for large groups. we got in at 19.15 and got our food at 20.45. probably they were understaffed, as we waited long for the food and I had to go to the bar and get my coke as the waitress kept forgetting about it. food was good, however not worthy for the wait.

Everything we ordered was delicious, reasonably priced and scenic, and we were happy to have the best birthday here!! :)

Situated in the inner harbour of Victoria you ll not only have good food and service but wonderful views of the harbour and harbour life. Enjoy people watching and ships coming and going while either enjoying the exterior patio or inside out of the west coast weather. Brunch was delicious eggs benny and avocado toast. An easy way to spend the morning.

Although Ive felt its been declining....normally its a pretty decent option. But just had a medium rare filet mignon served charcoaled on one side. The free dessert offered was weak, when we were not eating dessert.

Not impressed they took away the only reason I ever went to Milestones...the crispy brussels that were the #1 top sellers of the entire menu. Thank goodness Fiamo (open late) and Lure (in the Delta Hotel) have AMAZING crispy brussels. Try them, you wont be disappointed!

We got a last minute reservation as our group was visiting from out of town. The staff was so accommodating and made it work with our party. The food was amazing and a great value. Although it was dark I could see how great this would be to sit and enjoy during the day.

Ella was an EXCELLENT server, incredible customer service. The lost star is only because the bellinis are far inferior to what Cactus Club whips up. Sad!

We came into Victoria with limited time from a cruise ship and found this place. The service was great the food was even better. The server as knowledgeable, professional, prompt, and had a friendly disposition. I highly recommend anyone to visit here if they are in town for a short time or if they live in the vicinity.

Ventured into this renowned spot recently and was thoroughly impressed! The restaurant offers a captivating ambiance, complete with stunning vistas of Parliament and Victoria Harbor. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, and every dish served was a culinary masterpiece. A definite must-visit for those craving an extraordinary dining experience.

Very cool establishment! One dish cost about $30, dessert (cheesecake) $10, lemonade $5. A little expensive, but the portions are very huge, we just barely ate it. Well, the main feature of this restaurant is the view. If you want to sit by the window with a view, you need to book in advance. The staff is very friendly!

Lovely place to celebrate a special Birthday! Beautiful view of the Inner harbour and the Legislative building. Delicious food, great service and reasonable price! Their dessert Dulce de leche cheesecake was out of this world. We had an Excellent service by Leanne. The manager Ram was quite friendly. We highly recommend this place.

Food was fine, just not worth the price. My steak was tough, the steak knife had trouble cutting it. One of the meals at the table didnt come out with everyone elses and it took a long time for it to arrive. All and all, great view of the harbour but there are much better places to eat downtown.

Great restaurant for lunch and dinner, big or small groups. Been here a couple times and have enjoyed the food. The location is great, with views of the inner harbour (I would recommend sitting outside in the summer). Staff are always friendly and service is great. Location! Location!! A perfect location for an evening dinner overlooking the inner harbour and legislature. We enjoyed a three-course dinner including hot honey chicken skewer, followed by the crispy shrimp noodle bowl and chimichurri sirloin. Very delicious and portion sizes were big enough we had lots to take home. The desert was a scrumptious creme bruille topped with raspberries. The service was fabulous. Parking: Parking was $4.95 for 2 hours after 6.

Went there with family this evening. The meal was excellent. The service from James was outstanding. Will return at our next opportunity based on the service alone. The food was not great. The steak was over cooked on the outer edge and dry. The fish was dry. The place was full and lively, but the overcooked food killed the ambiance.

I recently dined at Milestones in Victoria. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was friendly. However, I ordered the penne pesto and was disappointed as I couldnt taste any pesto; I even had to confirm with the waitress if it was indeed a penne pesto. On a positive note, the kids meals were enjoyable. While the prices were slightly high, my overall experience would have been excellent if not for the pesto letdown. 3 stars.

TLDR: too many great restaurants in the area to fully recommend this place. Staff and ambiance were great, and honestly the food wasn t too terrible. My partner got the sirloin steak and I had their winter special lobster ravioli. The steak was good (minus paying 10$ for mushrooms and butter), but the lobster ravioli was disappointing. Not only are they not made in house, and barely have any lobster, but one of the 5 ravioli I got was just completely empty. Just disappointing when a 34$ dish was factory made. Also didn t receive bread that would have made the dish at least more filling and was charged for it. We had the strawberry haze, a cucumber smash and an espresso martini. Great drinks, except for the martini which was extremely sweet. When I brought up the bread not being served we did get a steep discount which was thoughtful, and definitely smoothed over what was turning out to be a underwhelming experience, but with so many restaurants around the area I don t think I can recommend this place other then getting a starter and a few drinks.

More than not kid friendly, the hostess went from owning the place to making it one of the worst experiences our family has ever had.

Was there on Monday with some customers and 5 of my staff. I have to say it was the worst meal any of us have ever had. We all ordered steaks and they ranged from gross to inedible. This is the second time I have taken guests there and this has happened. Will not do that again.

Went and was semi forgotten, had a drink, and left.

25 min wait at table before server came over. Burger bun was untoasted with cold garlic butter.

We stayed at the Marriott and walked over based on the reviews. Milestones had a ton of different options on the menu, and the food was delicious! Would highly recommend the passion fruit mule, which had a great twist to the classic mule. The views were great, but the only downside was the sun that was glaring and the heat coming off of it. Only recommendation would be to put some shades up against the windows, to help prevent some of that light. But again, amazing place to eat with delicious food and excellent service.

Foods were genenrally good, the chicken was a littler dry for the portellbela chicken pasta. Ambience and the location is unbeatable as its next to the harbour.

Great happy hour spot downtown! I came here twice - once seated outdoors during the summer, and once on a regular Fall evening indoors. The happy hour (3-6pm) is a great deal, especially for drinks! Our picture perfect Bellinis were actually really, really good! The Milestones Craft beer on tap was also great, though most other drinks we had I found to be quite weak. Food was average. Salmon wrap was a small proportion, fried cauliflower was dry both times, burger was also bland and quite dry pastas were good but very heavy and oily. Nonetheless, servers were nothing but kind and attentive! We came here for the atmosphere and that was spot on - especially with a view of the harbor!

Beautiful restaurant with amazing views. Noticed the portion sizes dropped a lot to try and keep prices stable. This was most noticeable on the steak dishes where only a very small helping of veggies and potatoes were not the best quality and cold.

Been here a few times and enjoyed a variety of meals, from burgers to salads, appetizers to savory entrees. Its my go-to place when entertaining friends from out of town. The experience is always great, with excellent food, atmosphere, and service at this downtown Victoria gem. Notably, they have clean washrooms. The location is fantastic, close to the water with a very nice view.

On vacation in Victoria and decided to celebrate my wifes birthday here, after eating dinner we were surprised with a visitor on our table, a cockroach. I killed it and showed it to our server, the server said he sent a picture to corporate, so I hope thats the case. It honestly ruined our evening and made us feel very uncomfortable that we just ate there and it being not a cheap meal $120, lots of appetizers, I understand these things happen but if a guest at my restaurant came across a cockroach I would have comped the meal. There was no guilt, discount, or manager involved, just a remark about calling in an exterminator, we had plans of ordering extra so we could eat at our hotel (fairmont) all the food was thrown away after our experience. Given how this was handled is why I am leaving a 1 star and will not be returning to a milestones, I am highly considering sharing my video of the cockroach in the restaurant if this isnt resolved. Its a shame because the food was great and staff was friendly.

I ve been to milestones before in a mall but it s a whole new experience going to Milestones on the HARBOUR!!!! So much better. A great place to stop for a meal.

The atmosphere was very nice. Few if the parliament building. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about GF. One of the plates came out cold, but the Manager stepped in and made it right and amazing right away no questions asked. Must try while Vic.
