Victoria moaned!

Loved Part and Parcel in the past, now, not so much. The Grilled Cheese sandwich was delicious. The Peruvian fries were flavourful. The Caesar salad version with the Radicchio lettuce had no ingredient to offset the bitterness, so it didnt quite gel. The servers were excellent as usual. The music however was offensive in its volume, content, and detraction from the dining experience. When we asked to have the music turned down, they complied. However it wasnt enough to remedy the unpleasantness. The server described the restaurant as the cool kid on the block, edgy, and alternative. There is so much good music out there that would reflect this image and genre. However, the music we heard did not. For example, one album being streamed was by a band called Wet Leg. One song on the album was entitled Piece of Shit. An apt title.

The chef here is good at cooking food.

A cozy night with colleagues had me trying several other dishes than my automatic go to favourite broccoli sandwich. Everything was delightful and the service was friendly and knowledgeable. You guys are a great team. Dietary restrictions: I find the sourdough bread that you use is good for me as I am often gluten-free, a sensitivity not an allergy. I m also lactose intolerant and the options I ve listed above are all dairy free and delicious. I only come for the broccoli sandwich. It s my favourite!

We opted for the two person tasting menu. Everything was wonderfully prepared and artfully presented. Standouts included the hamachi crudo with nuoc cham, the gnocchi with carrot goat cheese sauce and the coconut cream dessert. Even my meat and potato guy was in. It was a great date night!

This is our most beloved date spot -- relaxed, seasonally celebratory, unflinching quality in every respect. Even the quote on the inside of the bathroom door has made our lives feel just right. P+P is a piece of us now. Vegetarian options: So many great veggie options that allow the seasons to SHINE! Dietary restrictions: we dont have any, though from industry experience I can say the menu is diverse enough to host something for everyone. Parking: the intersecting roads to Quadra often have ample free evening parking -- have never had trouble finding a spot within quick walking distance. Kid-friendliness: went for lunch as a solo mama with two babes under four { + pregnant with a third } + it was beautiful! we shared kamut chicken sandwiches + cookies + the babes were treated to house lemonade. I felt the staffs patience, respect, + celebration of lil ones enjoying their food.

I ordered for delivery but wish I had gone in so I could of thanked the chef in person, do yourself a favor and try the broccoli side. I also enjoyed the chicken sandwich but after tasting the broccoli side I could of also ate the broccoli sandwich and congealed myself in broccoli Ecstasy. Ill take my leave now. This place is a gem. Great concise menu with fun offerings. Sides menu means even picky lil kids can have a delicious lunch. Drink menu is dialled too. Hasn t been in years and just as good as I remembered.

I ve been coming here for a number of years. Always great service with unique and fabulous food.

We were welcomed with wonderful service and yummy food. For dessert we shared the brownie and paired that with the creme de cassis aperitif. It was a lovely way to finish the meal.

Part and Parcel has been our favourite for almost two years now. They have an inclusive menu that will have something delicious for everyone. The charred broccoli sandwich is our favourite do not miss out especially if you are vegetarian. We did notice a few months ago the sandwich shrunk to a bunwich size, but we were happy to see it in two big halves again!

Broccoli sandwich is always good but its very expensive and it would be nice if there was a side included.

Food was good, chicken sandy lived up to the hype, but wait staff should be a little more clear and not imply sides are included with your order. A half a potatoes worth of fries shouldnt cost that much, lets be real.

Part and Parcel features beautiful local food presented in a cosy and charming restaurant. Its one of our absolute favourite places to eat or drink in Victoria! The staff are wonderful and friendly souls who contribute so much to the good vibes of the space. We had a marvelous time ordering their entire menu deal with a group of friends once, and each consecutive dish amazed us more and more. Everything we have ever tried has been delicious - although I always had trouble convincing myself not to order their chicken sandwich. Well worth trying one of their amazing appetizers with your meal, and they have a lovely drinks menu and great specials as well! We no longer live in Victoria and we so dearly miss this neighborhood gem

I ordered two fried chicken sandwiches and a cola, and when my food was delivered, there was a note attached from the staff that said we ran out of cola, heres a root beer and a cookie! it was so cute and the cookie and sandwiches were amazing!

This is one of my favorite hidden gems. The food Is always delicious with unique flavors and presentations. I definitely recommend the fried kamut chicken sandwich with their special fries and a jungle cookie.

I recently dined at Part and Parcel while visiting from Vancouver. I had the black lentil and kale salad which was outstanding. I was so delighted Ive tried to create my own version which hasnt reached the level of deliciousness as I experienced at Part and Parcel. Ill keep trying! The brownie was also amazing - experiencing the tiny pink peppercorn with the whip cream, huckleberries and chocolate ganache was a celebration. Ive told many friends on Vancouver Island to try your restaurant and I will be back to try other items on the menu. The server was attentive and knowledgeable and placed us in the front window seating which was charming. Bravo all!

Horrible food for $81 /2 people. I ate 1/3 of the Kamut chicken sandwich. Some fries but asking for ketchup was apparently an impossible task. Clearly I wasn t their ilk with such an inquiry. When McDonalds would have been more satisfying ,,,

I didnt love the wine that was featured, a little too geared toward a specific taste. The booth we were in was very cozy and made for easy conversation with our dinner mates. Been going to part and parcel for a while now! Love the food and the vibe, but have to express my disappointment with the change in both the chicken and broccoli sandwich size. It felt much smaller than the past and now comes with no side. I understand the prices of everything is much higher now but I would rather have paid more for the older version. Still amazing food and a great place to dine, I just likely won t be making a trip in for those specific dishes anymore :)

Good flavors with decent portion for a premium price, and friendly but molasses-slow service that chatted amongst themselves with backs to the front of house. The Charred Broccoli Sandwich was bright and the broccoli is very charred... maybe burned to some. Parisenne Gnocchi was creamy, rich, and comforting.

I have been ordering the charred broccoli sandwich for YEARS and loved it every time. However, on Saturday evening I opened up my beloved sandwich to find a tiny bun about half the size that it s been for the past 3+ years!! SO disappointing. I realize that grocery prices have gone up but this was just such a big change. I wish they had given an explanation and even given the option to pay more for the full size sandwich that they normally serve. At the very least they need to update the photo on the website.. The sandwich remains delicious . But has shrunk down to a bunwich size.

We were late because of circumstances beyond our control, no problem, the service, the food, the drinks were all great. We were not rushed, service was well timed and we had a great evening.

I like this place! Bright and minimal, reminded me of spots in Plateau or Mile End in Montreal. Menu shifts so hard to make recommendations... broccoli sandwich is always a good start, coming from an omnivore :p

Weve been to this restaurant several times. So far in 2024 we went once in January and once in February. Its in our neighborhood and it never disappoints when it comes to service, food taste, and friendly staff. HOWEVER, on our recent visit we were disappointed to see the food portions had significantly changed on some of the items we order regularly. We usually get the broccoli sandwich which in the past was a fair size and came sliced. You could easily share with a partner, which is what we liked to do - order two meals and split half and half. On our recent visit in February, just a few short weeks since our January visit, the same sandwich was the same price and came on a small bun which wasnt cut and couldnt be shared. You also have to pay extra for fries ($5) and there wasnt even a good portion of fries. The other item was the gnocchi which is delicious but again the portion was on a much smaller plate. $100 later, neither one of us was full. There was another time we ordered a tuna entree which came as thinly sliced tuna on a plate with a few garnishes. At that visit we did inform the staff that this isnt an entree and shouldnt be advertised as such. She said some dishes are light entrees, but for nearly $30 it seemed unreasonable. Unfortunately, given these experiences, we wont be back since its no longer FAIR value for the cost. Its disappointing for us too since we love eating at local places that offer quality food. But it needs to be fair value.

Most amazing food - such a wonderful surprise. The menu looked intriguing online but was even better than I expected. We did the whole menu option (was $235 at the time of writing) for the five of us. Each dish gave us enough of a taste to satisfy us as we shared them around the table. From charred broccoli to elk, the range was fantastic. Great value in a small venue with a charming server. The food was high end and the room itself unpretentious. Have already recommended it to friends and cant wait to find an occasion to go back again.

This was one of our favourite places to dine out in Victoria, and we were so lucky to have gotten in for a beautifully decorated Valentines Day dinner. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was the most delicate, filling, and exciting meal we could have asked for. Our server was a delight, and made the whole experience all the better.

Bit overrated. Went here on a friends recommendation. Food was ok but seemed like they were trying too hard to simply make it different. The rude greeting by the hostess maybe turned us off a bit as it set a negative stage to the meal (and was not just us she greeted others the same way ... maybe she was just having a bad day?). The waitress was great though.

This brunch spot in BC is the best Ive had! Located away from downtown, its surprisingly popular. The kamut fried chicken with pickles and cilantro is a delightful fusion, and the pork belly rice bowl has a seafood rice-like texture. The crispy outside and tender inside of the pork belly are exceptional! The only downside is that the tonka bean iced latte is too sweet, but there arent many coffee options

You have to know a local to find out about this place...and once you do youll want it to be your secret too. Our group had one of everything and EVERY dish was fantastic. Well selected drink menu. If you are a foodie this is a must. The atmosphere is warm, natural and inviting. Our server, Annie was welcoming, friendly and one of those people who made you feel she was really happy you were there and that she was there. This will now be my go to for every trip to Victoria. PS. Youve go to check out the door in the bathroom. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian choices Dietary restrictions: I believe there are options for anyone.

A hidden gem, must go when in Victoria

Highly recommend this place! From the inviting ambiance to the delectable shared plates and impeccable food presentation, our experience was top-notch. The service was exceptional, and the chef even personally checked in on us. Cant wait to return next time Im in town!

Amazing food and phenomenal service!!!

I have wanted to go to this restaurant since moving to Victoria, as I d heard so much positive feedback. We shared a couple of appetizers that were okay. (Shishitos, chickpeas) In our party of four, my son and I were very pleased with our meals (charred broccoli sandwich and fried chicken sandwich, both with fries), while my husband and other son chose a fish special and a pork entree. The latter two were tasty enough, but sooo small in comparison to the sandwiches. The flavour was good, but not worth the price for the meal - more like an appetizer. They felt really disappointed. It would have been nice to know ahead that the non-sandwich entrees are very small, with not a lot of protein and no complex carb to make up for that lack of protein substance. Decided to skip dessert based on dinner experience. Oh- our mocktails were good. Wine was too pricy for us. Benches are cold and very uncomfortable (even some cushions would help) and service was fine, but not particularly friendly or helpful. Our server could take us or leave us - whatever. I don t like to write any negative reviews, and I really wanted to love this place, because so many of my friends do. Based on our experience, I d get a takeout sandwich from here again, but doubt we will be back for anything more. Vegetarian options: Def loved the charred broccoli sandwich

Went for dinner here a few weeks ago, and it was really great. Im going to go out and say... a little pricey for how much you get. But it is upscale, intentional, well thought out, delicious food.

First time here. Met a friend for happy hour. So wonderful. Its got a euro bistro feel with nice natural light. Service was wonderful. The happy hour menu was interesting. The food was so good. Asian fusion. We shared the fries and I had the chickpea panisse. Absolutely melted in my mouth. Also really neat cocktails. I had the gin tea with local ingredients. Just a great way to spend a few hours. Totally recommend, though Id think reservations would be a good idea. Its a small place.

I seriously did not think a person could become addicted to a sandwich, but here I am. Whatever you do, go to PnP and get their charred broccoli sandwich. It is literally life-changing! Unique and absolutely delicious brunch options.

(Retaining my original review for archival purposes, but posting a new review and rating.) Forget it. This place has gone down the drain. The menu items are the tired same-old, same-old dishes from years ago (e.g., kamut fried chicken, charred broccoli), or look interesting on paper but on the plate are just bland and have none of the sense of fun of the original place (e.g., the flank steak, which costs an obscene $33), or just copied from elsewhere (come on, the pork belly with tamarind is a Foo staple). Even the dining room now looks old and run-down. (My original review appears below.) The kitchen must have changed hands recently because its not the same place it used to be. The food is still good and very well-executed, but there is less of a sense of fun, adventure, and whimsy on the menu. Flavour combinations are great but conventional and unsurprising. Prices are still very reasonable.

Such a great find! Tapas-inspired plates of unusual and delicious flavour combinations. Attentive and courteous service. We will certainly be going again and recommend it for a pleasant dining experience.

The food is amazing. We trued several dishes, and they were all superb.

Went with a couple friends and we ordered everything on the menu so I can confidently say that every damn thing they make is utterly delicious!

This used to be just the best, best place. But as the prices have gone up, the portion sizes, service and atmosphere have gone down. I just cant bring myself to spend $36 + tax for two small (albeit tasty) sandwiches with no sides and staff who were rude to me for accidentally missing the please wait to be seated sign and daring to enter the restaurant. Nobody told us the specials, everything was rushed, the vibe in there has totally changed. Bummer.

they made a broccoli sandwich taste good. that s all i need to say. i m gonna say more though. our server was beyond friendly and everything was very reasonable priced. i got the fired chicken sandwich which was incredible but everything else looked amazing

I cannot say enough about how fabulous the food is here. Some of the most creative and delicious food I ve ever had. It looks like art, and everything I have tried was amazing. Who knew a broccoli sandwich would be the key to culinary heaven? I first learned of them with a fervent recommendation that I had to try that.., And the staff are friendly, and seem genuinely happy- a sign of a very well managed place. Great casual atmosphere, but classy and comfortable. Every person I have brought here raves, and craves their food. Vegetarian options: Amazing All of them Parking: Free parking across the street (mini-mall), and plenty of free street parking. Wheelchair accessibility: A place I would bring any wheelchair or walker user. No steps, helpful staff, tables that can easily accommodate a wheelchair.

The food is delicious, and like nothing else. Always thoughtful, beautiful and tasty! Vegetarian options: Unusual, Delicious Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to adapt the table if you use a wheelchair, or are using a walker.

My friend and I were very disappointed in lunch today: two wilted, tasteless garden salads, one with a hair in it. Ugh. Chicken add-on was good, as was the service, but overall, awful.

Every visit reminds me that I need to come back more often. Lots of options, both food and drinks. Wine special is a great price always and delicious.

Great haircut, wrong colour though

We ate here for lunch and had the malt fries as an appetizer. The soba noodles were flavorful and complex, the grill cheese was gooey with abundant cheese, and the kamut chicken sandwich was delicious. I appreciated that the coleslaw didnt include mayo. We ordered the cheesecake for dessert, which was not as firm as New York cheesecake but firmer than Italian style cheesecake; great texture. I would eat here again.

Amazing! I went twice and the food was delicious! We tried many dishes and all tasted great, many new flavours I loved! Service was also great and the place is cozy and cute! 100% recommended :)

Mediocre food. Not sure if the various dishes are supposed to be tapas style but certainly small portions and rather bland. Seats could do with some cushioning on them for basic comfort reasons. Wine was ok as was the cider and cocktail. Server was busy but reasonably attentive. Pricy for what it is. Will not be back.

I love this funky little restaurant- have been several times over the years and most recently twice this fall. Happy to say the food is still delicious, the drinks tasty, and the staff, fantastic. Just have the charred broccoli sandwich- sounds weird I know, but is just so so good!

Quaint little spot with lovely staff and pretty solid food. I must say though that $17 for two eggs and a bit of toast is really pushing it. I had the turkish eggs and left feeling quite hungry. Opt for the sandwiches, bennys or bowls when having brunch.

Had brunch today, first time visit, food was excellent, service was fast, well be back.

First time at this place and overall was generally disappointed with the service, food, atmosphere and price. Unfortunately we encountered a surly server and the hostess was no better. We waited a while for our food that was poorly presented. The kamut chicken sandwich is essentially coleslaw with a thin piece of chicken on a bun for $18 and the broccoli sandwich is overpriced for broccoli with special sauce on a bun. $4 for tea served in a small 250 cup was 1/2 filled with hot water. I was afraid to ask the server for more water. She asked us if we wanted dessert but basically she decided for us...do you want any dessert, you probably dont....After I paid the bill, I realized that she charged us the incorrect amount ($10 more, wrong table). She corrected the error but never apologized. Walked away and said bye. 18% gratuity is a big ask for this type of restaurant. Wont be back even if someone else paid.

Place went downhill quick. Mid asl. Service was great tho but food just tastes gross now, disappointing.
