Amazing Bannock burgers!

They have a high score for a reason. Amazing burgers. Ive tried them all and havent had a bad meal yet! I recommend the salmon burger personally. A tad pricey but what isnt these days? Worth it though.

Wow...cant wait to go back. Visited as the clouds dispersed. Had a sunny table while we waited for our fresh salmon and banock bun burger (drool) and fresh salmon and clam white chowder (again with Banock) Highly recommed!

Insanely tasty. Best burger in town. I travel a lot and when I do people ask me what Canadian cuisine is like and I pretty much say the only people who know what theyre doing when coming up with anything unique is the natives because when I show them poutine even just looking at that brown sauce makes them sick lmao

Delicious & indigenous

I LOVE this food truck! The staff are super nice, service was great, the atmosphere is lovely! The food was incredible! Ive been having a hard couple months in my life and Im not even kidding the Indian taco made up for it.

The salmon burger was phenomenal, and I don t even like salmon all that much well I guess I do now lol! We had salmon burger, bison burger, chowder and salad, all top notch. Very friendly staff, I see that they really take pride in what they do. Arguably some of the best food in this area. Coming back for more!

All I can say is, absolutely excellent all around. Staff have AMAZING energy, food is delicious, and a lovely little atmosphere. Highly recommend trying the Bannock bites. Chowder is on point 5

Today was such a great experience. Road our bikes from downtown on the E&N out to the Songhees food truck. Gorgeous spring day. Amazing salmon chowder with bannock & a bison bannock burger. Both were absolutely delicious. Guys in the truck were super cool. Great area with picnic tables to sit in the sun and enjoy our meal. We will be back and plan to bring friends. What a fabulous experience.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Had the Salmon burger. Salmon was so tender and flavorful. So good I came back the next day to get something for my partner and I. They had a special Hot open faced Turkey Sandwich on special and gave it a try. They were generous with the amount of turkey and the gravy is really good. The bannock bun made it really taste like a full Thanksgiving meal. I was also impressed with how tasty the fries were. 10/10

Songhees food truck catered my work event, Im vegan and all they served was a salad. Is this 1995? I should note they were notified in advance, this was not a last minute accommodation.

Incredible food, service, people and atmosphere. Go support them as much as you can, sit outside in the sun and eat well.

Such a lovely spot. They have a covered picnic area but the cover is glass so you still feel the sunshine. Food is great. They serve wild salmon and bison among other delicious things. I was surprised at how good their fish and chips are. Honestly the best fish and chips Ive had in years!

Holy...SMOKES the bison bannock burger is so good! Imagine the happiness from your 6th birthday party, or the first sip of a cold beer on a hot day... Would recommend and go again. Dont even waste your time. Make it your first stop when you go to Victoria.

I had the Bison Bannock burger with fries the Bison burger was very tasty had all the right fixings and stuff the fries nicely seasoned the drink was really nice Ginger ale finally made my way here and did not disappoint Was A nice meal and would recommend it the menu had great options price was good, good portion

Update: Stopped by again, this time for their hot turkey sandwich. OMG!!! It was absolutely perfect! Amazing gravy, perfectly cooked and seasoned turkey, delicious stuffing, and cranberries on a nicely toasted bannock. SO GOOD!!! Absolutely fantastic food! Staff are super friendly! The food is fresh and hot, and everything tasted delicious! Everything is perfectly cooked and crisp. Picnic tables to eat on were clean, which was wonderful! We highly recommend stopping to eat here. High-quality restaurant food served from an easy to access food truck!

Worth the trip! We drove across town to try out their legendary bannock burgers, chowder and crispy fish. We finished it all with nothing left to spare. Highly recommend the cod burger, and chowder. The crispy fish was cooked to perfection and my normally picky son ate it all up! My daughter said the Songwich was great and she would happily go back for more. Service was friendly and prompt. The dining area was charming outdoor picnic tables with a nice shelter to keep the sun and rain off. A great place to go with the kids.

Excellent Food

I dont normally write reviews, but I recently got lunch here and I was blown away. I thought the service was lovely and I really enjoyed sitting on the picnic benches under the pergola. However, it was the food that really blew me away. Everything was so fresh and tasty, yet simple. Having worked closely with a chef, I could tell there had been an extensive amount of thought put into the food. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you!!!!

Good service and food if and when they are open, as a community band member it seems to be on a work when they feel like or when ever they get stock in kind of schedule...

Order the halibut fish and chip, it was so very good. The chips where nicely seasoned. And the halibut was huge and batter was a nice thin layer over the fish, that was also seasoned nicely. The Bannock was large and fluffy, with a nice berry jam. 5 starts all the way

Wholesome, fast, hot, loved trying the bannock. Side kale salad was awesome. Fish and chips were an excellent portion.

I live near by and have always wanted to try this. Well, I am so happy I did. Their bison burger was phenomenal and the breakfast sandwich looks amazing too, I will he back. Do yourself a favor and try out the Bannock Bites too, they are very delicious!

Amazing food from Songhees Food Truck (across from the DQ on Admiral). Really easy to get to from the E&N bike trail. We had the salmon burger and bison burger which were both so delicious. We will be back!!!

Excellent food, quality and service. We went here for a late lunch. I got a salmon burger with half fries and salad, my husband got the bison burger and everything was perfect. The burger was the best salmon burger I have ever had and the bannok bites are delicious! Highly recommended!

We ordered a bison burger and a salmon burger. Both were awesome and the fries were great too. Of the 2, I think I was more pleasantly surprised by the Bison burger that I stole a bite from from my husband, but I dont regret my choice of the salmon burger either. Most memorable for me was how good their bannock bread works as a burger bun. It is just a little more chewy than burger buns, making them hold their shape better. But they were still very soft and easy to bite into. We also appreciate that they had 2 picnic tables with umbrellas set up on a rainy day and provided us with good quality napkins and wet wipes :) The price means its not something I can eat every day, but will definitely go back when I crave a good burger.

Service was fairly quick for the amount of people there. ordered the bannock bites, plain bannock and clam chowder. All the items came out very tasty. There s plenty of parking there and some picnic tables if you wish to stay and eat or take it to go. Recommend this food truck

Just tried their bison burger today, holy hell what a treat. Wicked handmade patty, not over dressed (just a nice grainy mustard for sauce leaving the meat free to be enjoyed without over-encumbrance), and the bannock bun was the icing on the cake, it really held the whole thing together way better then a traditional burger bun. Truly lovely treat.

The only place to buy bannock in town. The fries are good, and the bannock desserts are perf.
