The Rack Bistro in Victoria

This place used to be one of my favorite! Dont know what happened in the last year,but its a let down. The last 2-3 visits the service has been bad, food as well. We were there this evening after a long time of not going and sat there for 15 minutes,no menues, was given to us ,no one came to take our drink order, no we will be right back with you they clearly saw us,the place isnt that big...Nothing!!! I understand you can be busy,but at least acknowledge that we are there,smile do something. We simply left. This is the 2nd time it happens...was a disappointment.

Good food, good service, solid atmosphere and decent prices. Somewhat sports-oriented which can get a little rowdy sometimes.

Good was acceptable, restaurant was full of teens at the time, family friendly but not exactly in the sports bar aesthetic.

My boyfriend and I are regulars and I have to say this is my go to place! I love the food, the drinks, and all the entertainment they provide (trivia nights, music bingo, taco Tuesday) to mention a few. I have never had a bad experience in the 3 years I have been coming here and we visit once a week! I recommend the rack to everyone.

Limited menu.

First time we had been in a little while. My son frequents the Rack for wing night and raves about it all the time. Last night we all went to dinner. We started with the Canadian flat bread . AMAZING! Husband has the pulled pork linguine. Stated best pasta he s ever had( obviously besides my delish home cooking ). I had a burger and onion rings and OMG . I could have just eaten the biggest plate of those delicious devils and the chipotle dip! . My son has the beef dip and highly enjoyed it. We live near by and we will make more stops to grab a bite of your tasty menu! Keep up the amazing job.

The worst beef dip ever! Dry chewy grizzley beef. I should have asked if the onions were grilled or not I guess thats my bad I just thought if you had a hot sandwich they would be. House aux jous. Not regular beef aux jous? very strange flavor profile. The most unseasoned Caesar salad Ive ever eaten very little dressing with almost no flavor. There was so much wrong with all of the food at our table theres no way the waitress could have fixed it for us. Someone at our table had a burger and they said it was very good the Frys also were very good. It was very loud and clattery making it difficult to have a conversation at our table. I think they could build some soft surfaces into their decor to help muffle some of the noise. Parking: There seem to be enough parking but we got there after the other businesses closed during the day it may be different Kid-friendliness: The kids got coloring book and crayons and they really enjoyed the mac and cheese it is hard to find a place where theres something on the menu of the kids will eat.

Had a fundraiser event at the Rack tonight and we had a great time. The service was great, the staff were friendly and on top of things even with a very busy, full restaurant of families. The food was great and the environment was relaxed and fun! Thanks for a fun night!

Always go here for Taco Tuesday! Such a good deal and the tacos are pretty good, some inconsistencies on the portions for them but when youre pumping out that many its bound to happen. Some inconsistencies on the mixed drinks Ive experienced as well but that can be expected based on bartenders. Other than that no complaints. Literally only had the tacos here for food but am wanting to go on a regular night, its just hard to beat $1 tacos

Had a chicken fig clubhouse. This sandwich was incredible . Never figured fig would work on a sandwich, but hell it did!!

There are 3 dog friendly picnic tables at the back by the parking lot. The rest of the patio is at the front and dogs are not allowed.

Had the oppurtunity to visit the Rack Pub / Bistro yesterday and I can honestly say it did not dissappoint. The steak sandwhich was perfect, the beer perfectly chilled and the staff were great. Will definitely be back.

Love this place. They are all so friendly and make us totally feel safe here. And the food is awesome. Next time Ill have to order something different as I always get the same thing!

I had suggested this place to my friends as a go to try. First off I d like to say our server was phenomenal. A very pretty lady with dark hair down to her back. I wrote her name down and can t find it sadly but amazing woman .service was impeccable. So here s the thing about the food I did notice. It comes up as 1 of top 5 places to go for lunch but all the reviews lately seem to be mixed. And when I read through the reviews, many people said that there was previously a wait to get in, but it was like a bit of a bowling alley once I went - there was one table of 6 people and a few couples. I got the chicken strips and I got so many I was actually profoundly shocked and they were delicious and they have their own honey mustard sauce they make there. My friend ordered and chose the same Caesar side as I did. Sadly, It was visibly obvious she gets hers heaped with cheese on top but Mine looks like it s had a lot of cheese fall off on the way out - not supposed be different for a side on her plate and mine. Here s the issue with the salad - make them identical kitchen staff! It would ve been at least another star but the salad/Lettuce was room temp as was the dressing, which they make I believe - on a hot summer day sitting on the patio I want to have a crisp and fresh taste a good salad delivers on. I was so disappointed. One lady had Benny on the go I think it s called. She said it s not the number one Hollandaise she s ever had but very close. So from what I had & the cost of it, you do get your moneys worth but heads up owners/management of the Rack Please please don t serve warm salad with Room temperature dressing. And make sure if it s going to the same table to make things look at least close to similar. No one wants to be the person that got less of a good thing. . .We all want to know that we re getting our moneys worth. No pics as I left abruptly when I wasn t feeling well. I got a tummy ache after eating and had to leave to go home Not implying anything about getting quite sick quite fast. I m just putting it out there as my experience.

The Rack graciously hosted a burger and beer fundraiser night for our local JDF lacrosse team. The Rack team was very supportive and accommodating, communicated well, and generally cares for their community. They put on a fun evening of music Bingo and everyone had an enjoyable night. The food was also fantastic, thank you to the owners and staff at the Rack for hosting such a great event, we will be back.

After a trip to Costco, this is nice place for lunch. It wasnt too busy at 1 pm on a Monday afternoon. We shared the chicken taco salad and it was very tasty and a little spicy.

Sadly, I was not impressed, mostly with the atmosphere, although the menu is wanting too. I do see some additions to the menu posted online that sound appealing, so maybe I will try again at the Cedar Hill X Road location, specifically the beef stroganoff. I am not a fan of the Westshore location that used to be The Checkered Flag (went there with my parents)....its food also wasnt great but it had MUCH better decor. It was followed by Mo:lé breakfast restaurant that I never tried, although I had been to their downtown location and enjoyed it....too bad it didnt survive. Maybe there was another restaurant there before The Rack too....Im not sure? The Racks Langford space is cavernous with little redeeming esthetic value, and the ambient noise is TERRIBLE. I went there with my son, a millennial, and he agreed. The service was sub-par, the food not desirable, just OK, and the atmosphere terrible. MUCH prefer The Log House Pub, right across the street. I have also tried their new location on Cedar Hill X Rd. That restaurant was owned by a friend of mine back in the day, George Acs. His Hungarian Village was there from 1977-2003 almost as long as 1550s! Memories are short. Relating to current dining trends, 1550s was WAYYYYY better than the The Rack in terms of food and ambiance. I frequented 1550s multiple times a year. To be clear, my son and I were at the Langford location last year, and I was at the Cedar Hill location about two months ago. Service has been sub-par at both locations, seemingly provided by newbies who have had no training, so its not their fault. No follow-up, had to flag them down etc. I have a lot of experience as a server so what I witnessed is not excusable. I would give the Westshore location another chance, but I cant stand the ambient noise and bare esthetic, sorry. Maybe Ill give the Cedar Hill X Rd. location another chance...maybe....but I wont be stopping in regularly as I did at 1550s or the Hungarian Village.

Its a good place food is good, weve only been once and it was awesome. Unfortunately we have tried to go multiple times but theyre always closed for private events.

Our team did a fundraiser at the rack! Burger, a Beer and music bingo! It was such a fun night!! Thanks to all the staff for creating such a fun atmosphere for everyone!! Our team had a blast!!!

I have been there twice The first time, I had fish and chips. I didn t like the fish and chips. The chips tasted salty and the fish didn t have any salt. Second time was today. I had pasta + wings and it tasted amazing

Never been here before but had friends visiting from the US and we were looking for some place different for an evening dinner. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The linguini recommended by our server was the best we have ever had. The service was excellent (although maybe get some cherries for the drinks :) There was a slight issue with the noise level since the Vancouver Canucks hockey game was on and there were a number of enthusiastic fans but it was still a wonderful evening and a successful experience. Definitely will return. Wheelchair accessibility: One of our party uses a walker due to a recent accident and they were very accommodating

Nice place, good burgers, and good drinks!

Food was okay, but nothing special to be honest.. went for brunch and got the grizzly Benny.. waitress forgot to ask how we wanted our eggs,ended up getting 2 different kids.. not her fault. But the caramelized onions were really just fried onions, hollandaise sauce wasnt too great.. and didnt get many potatoes, which werent too great either.. heard about this place for a long time but maybe would go back again.

We visit the restaurant regularly but last night was deplorable ! Two out of three meal came out. Five minutes later the third came out We were asked how everything tasted- um, well literally the plate just got put down on the table and ours is now cold waiting, but no we said okay 20 oz of chicken in the chicken tender meal is not accurate -lucky if it s 4 oz, and burnt Drunken noodles with no sauce is really hard to swallow: wait is that because they put it on the noodles and realized I asked for it with rice, cold rice and double protein means 3 oz of chicken in total? My beverage was done before the meals came and I am asked if I want another when the meal is done. Thankfully there was water but you could have made more sales if you cared about your clientele And it was not busy so I m not sure what s going on but we were very disappointed Did we still tip 20%~ yes but will we go back- not sure on that one

What a great location for a teenage sports team and family to refuel and have fun! We were in Langford for a BC Girls Volleyball tournament and left dinner rezo s a little late. I checked in with the hostess and she was not sure of bookings for the next day, and said the owner would call me to confirm. Jasmine got in touch and confirmed she had room for our group of 30, and kindly offered some complimentary apples for the players, which were gobbled up by our hungry teens. The food was great - pirogies, Club, jerk chicken, breakfast for dinner and many more tasty meals were enjoyed by all. Skip the chain restaurants nearby, and try local! The Rack Bistro doesn t disappoint!

Was busy. Seated right away. Water came out. Then 10 minutes of being ignored by staff. Then we tried to flag them down. Tables around us were being served. So we left. Too bad, because the menu looked good.

I was there for a birthday party and got s drink when i sat down, the waitresses offered a refill after 30 min but i wasnt ready. Didnt see her again for 90 min and by then Id decided i was going to go to a different restaurant to get food. I left starving. Unless your drinking alcoholic drinks your invisible to the staff

I loved the taste of the burger but wish I had more fries the house lager disappointing but I found another beer I enjoyed didnt get asked how the meal was but service was reasonable overall :) wings were small and not crispy

The wings were terrible I wouldn t even get them on wing night for $10. The music sounded like an American country bar and way too loud. The door was always open making it freezing cold in the restaurant. Not impressed.

We came here with our daughter s volleyball team for a team dinner. The staff were very accommodating with a large group and the service and food were fantastic.

I hadn t visited the restaurant in a year or so. I tried it out with my niece today, the food was gross and the service was lackluster to say the least. There s lots of other good choices in Langford and I ll be choosing those places from now on! Sad to see it go south.

We visited The Rack Bistro for dinner with my daughters sports team plus their families and we were all impressed by the quality and variety of food. The menu has something for everyone, from burgers and sandwiches, to salads and pasta, to wings and nachos. I ordered the steak entre and it was a generous portion with great flavor and jus. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We all enjoyed our meal and our time at the Rack Bistro, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual and satisfying dining experience. The Rack Bistro is a hidden gem in Langford, and we cant wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

Unmatched taco night!

First time here , all pretty fair

The Saanich location doesnt have a website, facebook page or any social media, so I have to review the under langford location, but this is for SAANICH location. Food was mediocre; minimal fries as a side or main. Wrap was over salted, underflavored. Breakfast food was OK. 1.5/5 Service was server dependent. One was horrible. Messed up drink orders multiple times, didnt come back, bills were a mess, etc. Second server was better, but was still at the bar chatting to bartender rather than serving. 0/5. Atmosphere was actually good. It was a trivia night and that aspect was great! The other tables were friendly. 5/5 Im not sure if this is better or worse than monkey tree or Maude hunters, but a far cry from 5th st, fernwood, or anything downtown. I cant see ever going back other than for one of their special nights (wings or $15 burger/beer). If everything is bad, at least be cheap.

Nice location friendly service but they do not respect their happy hour. We have arrived around 4:45 PM. We had a server wait until 4:55 to take our orders and then ran the clock to past 5 PM. She then she cancelled our orders saying we re past 5pm! I say these practices deserve 1 star. I updated my review to 5 stars because they don t deserve bad reviews for one mistake. I look forward to enjoying the new location and taking advantage your generous offer in response to the above issue. Any chance that I can try use it at the cedar hill location?

I went with my daughter and two grandchildren (9 & 5) on a Friday evening for an early dinner. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before we were asked for our order. Meanwhile another table was seated beside us. Their order was taken a good 5 minutes before ours and they had their food long before us. My grandchildren ordered chicken strips and fries. The strips were of the frozen variety as were the fries. Everywhere we go my grandchildren order this same meal. There are always 3 to 4 strips and plenty of fries. These orders were 2 strips only and very few fries. My daughter had a burger. She said it had a very thin patty and was more along the lines of a fast food burger, not a restaurant burger and was $20.95! She also got very few fries. I, on the other hand had the starter of pulled pork tacos and they were meaty and very good. This is the only reason that I gave the food 2 stars as I would recommend them. After waiting some time the waitress came over with the machine for payment. I then said that we had actually wanted to see what they had for dessert. She said in a very negative tone that that implied that she wanted us out of there, We only have New York cheesecake and handed over the machine for payment. We were stunned! We actually all like cheesecake and would have ordered it. I can only guess that because we didn t order alcohol she wanted us out of there even though they weren t full and no one was waiting. We wound up going elsewhere for dessert. It was a very disappointing and strange experience.

Went for breakfast, I had Bennie s, wife had Waffles. Food came, no utensils (had to ask for) wife s waffles came without syrup (had to ask) she had requested a side of hollandaise which arrived tasting very sugary sweet, explained and requested a new one, new one arrived tasting very heavily of vinegar (inedible). Ate what we could and left (hollandaise still on the bill) Won t be back, to many other options available to bother with this.

We had a good brunch here on a Saturday. The service was quick and friendly. Our meals were very well prepared, tasty and just right. We didnt feel rushed and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

The owners are incredible people. They are involved in the community, fundraise for those in need(cancer,firefighters,local families, local sports ect). The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and care about their work. Every person I talk to I try to hype this place up. Ive been to a lot of restaurants over the years and nowhere compares to this place. I cant tell you how much I love this place. I recommend getting a reso if you want to try a Tuesday night after 430pm, as they are packed for taco Tuesday(dollar tacos and 5 dollar margaritas?!). Ill see you there! Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut, walnut and dairy restrictions. They are always accommodating, and Paige their bartender knows her stuff about allergies. If you have something concerning, speak up and they will do everything they can to make sure you have a good time here.

The food was terrible and the atmosphere is really weird. Tacos came out cold and were slathered in southern ammerican style bbq sauce and then topped with a bunch of Mexican toppings. It made for a really strange, nasty taco. We did have good service which was really appreciated.

My wife and I ordered out our meal. I received a very soggy fish and chips, i noted that there was no condensation in the box. The coleslaw was basically cabbage with a single drop of dressing on it. My wife has the Maui bowl had soggy rice (usually an indicator of too much water when cooked), the sauce and all the food was real salty otherwise no flavor. It is annoying for them to ask for a tip when you do the ordering and pick up your own food. Not going back.

Food and atmosphere are amazing. Staff are very friendly and the owner is the man. Went for lunch on new years day and our meal was surprisingly comped by the owner (as was everyones meal that day). This place is the real deal.

My husband and I may be late to it, but we just got introduced to Music Bingo and we love it! Victoria s -okay, Langford s- The Rack Westcoast Bistro Thursday evening MB was awesome. Half price bottles of wine, really yummy food (their coconut rice would have been worth the drive all on its own!) and an evening of good company and damn decent music. What else can one ask for? Special thanks to Cole and Jasmine, proprietors. Great work!

I have had countless lunches/dinners here and should have written a review sooner. In a sea of big box stores and corporate franchises, the Rack Bistro feels undeniably authentic. Great food and genuinely friendly service makes this an easy choice when I have business meetings on the Westshore or brunch with my family. Independent businesses like the Rack are so important to our community and its always a pleasure to pop in. Parking: Easy to park and easy to get to.

Never going again. Me and my husband are cooks and just for today we thought we could go out and enjoy something new. For the money they spent to make the place they didnt bother spending any money on getting good cooks. Steak; raw, grey, no seasoning, on bland mashed potatoes surrounded by a few broccoli and half a pepper? That is not worth 36 bucks. Maui Chicken bowl; dry, bland, veggies steamed not cooked well, no seasoning, no sauce, mushy rice, 5ish tiny peices of chicken? Confused if they know what Maui Chicken is... Our waitress, was amazing. I would have given her a tip in a heartbeat but she wouldnt take it. Give her a raise please! All kitchen staff should be ashamed for sending out these plates. Please have a kitchen staff meeting when your chef arrives. If you like hospital food, go here. I dont mean to make that sound like a bad thing, but if youre looking for a meal worth spending the money, this isnt it. Sorry not sorry.

Got a steak and it was not cooked well at all . It was unseasoned barley seared my wife s food was bland she had their maui chicken and it was bland flavourless with no sauce dry chicken and barley any chicken at that. It was like fancy looking hospital food. Who ever owns this restaurant just want to make money and has no intention on actually making any good food come out of it. Make the place look fancy charge way to much for terrible food.

We had our girls hockey team come to the the rack and bistro. Cole and the crew did an amazing job. We had 50 people attend, the food and service was amazing. Thanks again Cole and crew! Kid-friendliness: Great environment for all ages.

The Rack owner and staff hosted our u15 B Langford softball team for a burger and beer fundraiser tonight! Complete with a music bingo and prizes that everyone enjoyed. The food was fantastic, the waitstaff was amazing with our very large group and the atmosphere was perfect!!!

Very accommodating. We had a fundraiser there last night and the whole staff was great. Food was great ( homemade burgers!). Cant say enough about Coles generosity. Langford is lucky to have the Rack !

Cold, unseasoned food for our whole table. Staff were very friendly, but they were probably a couple servers short and service really suffered due to that. With so many choices in town, I dont think wed go back here again, unfortunately :(

Stopped into The Rack for a late night meal and drink. Enjoyed two delicious Ceasars & their Chicken Flatbread. The Flatbread was to die for!! It was perfectly cooked and the honey drizzle took it to another level. Service was top-notch and atmosphere was very welcoming. Will be back!

This is often a go to for brunch, however this visit the food did not impress. Over cooked hasbrowns (on everyones table). The entrance way, and general housekeeping could use a bit of attention. The entrance way had a build up of debris from outside that had not been cleaned up in a while. And the glass on the inside door was smeared with many greasy hand prints. (And we visited first thing in the morning). Windows still had xmas snow designs sprayed on....time for a wash by March. Service was great. No complaints there.

Went with a group of 5 on Sunday morning around 930. It wasnt busy inside, nor did the restaurant seem short staffed. Food was sub par, nothing came out hot, 2 of the Bennys ordered with poached medium eggs came out with solid (hard) poached eggs. 2 of us had the basic breakfast (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast) - food was cold and only 1 strip of bacon on each. Not until the very end when we were paying did our server smile. We noticed none of the staff was smiling during our visit. Room for improvement @ The Rack.

It was a great place for lunch I had their chicken fig club and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely good taste and value. Their taco nights are super cheap but totally not worth it personally as you pay for what you are getting with 1.00 tacos so dont expect a good taco otherwise their regular menu minus the specials are pretty great.

Had a nice meal at The Rack this week. Breakfast sandwich had lots of flavour and tasted fresh. Service was slow, but very friendly. Will be back.

One of the best Pubs around, great food and great beer, for me best beer around. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic local place with nice, countryish vibe and great, reasonably priced food. And their daily specials are really good. They have great vegetarian options too! Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options, and not just to check a box, theyre legitimately good. Kid-friendliness: While theres something of a bar vibe, its definitely family friendly! Theres a full kids menu and the staff are very kid friendly.

Best place to go for Taco Tuesday! They have the most adorable little tacos for only $1. When is the last time you got something for only $1??? To be fair, you will probably eat 8 or more of them. I tried the coconut Margarita - very tasty. I will try the mango one next time!

Cozy, casual country vibe, excellent service. Visited during slow hours (2-4PM). Food came out relatively quickly, lots of options in the menu, something for everyone. Not much luck with the alfredo, but the burgers and sandwiches hit the spot. Delicious fries. Relatively clean space. Includes patio seating, opted for indoor as we had been out all day to stay nice and cool.

I love a business that helps out the community!!! Plus excellent food & drinks!

We just had our Burger and Beer fundraiser at the Rack for our U8 hockey team! These kids have such big personalities and are a crazy bunch of kids and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. The food was delicious, we all had a great evening and we fundraised for the team at the same time! This wasn t our first Burger and Beer at The Rack - and Cole and Jasmine welcomed us back this year without hesitation! Such a great place to enjoy a team event! I ve gone back on music bingo night, ladies night and even had a big group accommodated last minute for my birthday! A great place to add to your regular evenings out! I can t say anything bad about any of my visits at The Rack - if you haven t dined there you re missing out! Their dedication to the community and ongoing fundraising events is more than generous - it s outstanding and selfless. We appreciate you!!!

The roasted yam, date, beet with feta was very disappointing. At 17.95 it was a rip-off

We held our holiday party and Cole and his team knocked it out of the park. The food was amazing, the service second to none and the place looked festive and welcoming. I cant recommend The Rack more highly. Thank you for welcoming the eXp team to your lovely establishment and providing us with such an awesome time. 10/10 do recommend.

Outstanding food at reasonable prices. This is my neighbourhood restaurant and I m trying to eat everything on the menu.

First time eating here and I was really excited since I want to support local, but the food did not warrant the price point. $22 for a teriyaki rice bowl that s barely larger than the size of my hand. Pierogis looked and tasted like the frozen bagged kind you d get at any grocery store, and chorizo oddly not cured at all (tasted like they grilled a hot dog in some taco seasoning). Overall flavour was just alright, but the quality of ingredients and portion sizes certainly aren t worth it. 2 stars for the rustic, pub-like atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. Maybe the burgers and drinks are what we should ve gotten instead.

Great place for breakfast with attentive staff and good food

Terrible restaurant, sat in the restaurant and the waitresses are not even coming to serve talking with their friends in a corner. Food didn t feel fresh. There was a live guy singing for a few minutes and that was atleast the nicest thing. Definitely not going back

Left hungry and hoarse. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated promptly. I had the breakfast poutine. I wasn t asked how I liked my poached eggs but they came a pleasant medium and the potatoes were well cooked and crispy. While the dish was tasty, the bacon and cheese curds were barely detectable. The hollandaise sauce ran a little on the vinegary side but not enough to complain- could happen to anyone. The portion was entirely too small. I arrived starving and left still hungry. In terms of ambiance, the place is well laid out and well decorated. The noise level, however, was off the charts. It may be the acoustics of where we were sat. The place was busy & loud. I had to yell through most of my breakfast to be heard by my friend. I left with a hoarse voice. Felt like I had been at a nightclub all night. I will say the wait staff was friendly and clearly working flat out. They did their absolute best on a busy morning. I d give it another chance but I might snack before I arrive.

The Rack hosted a private event last night in its space and the place looked gorgeous, the staff were amazing, and the food was delicious. Lots of room to dance and a really lovely patio added to the whole experience. Was a great place to celebrate!

Amazing local owner who went above and beyond to host a celebration here for a firefighter and his wife. Love to see a local company supporting the community. Excellent food, service and live music.

I was visiting my brother in Langford, and decided on @the_rack_bistro for brunch! I got the breakfast poutine ($16), which was basically a breakfast hash with hollandaise and cheese curds! There was so much cheese it was almost too heavy, but I never complain about too much cheese I really liked their hollandaise, it was creamy and light, yet flavorful! Potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly. Others ordered the West coast Benny ($15), Prairie boy scramble ($17), and the Traditional Breakfast ($9.99). All were good portions and we enjoyed the food. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant and the food was great! Parking was a bit difficult, but otherwise a good brunch spot!

Ate here last Tuesday. Got the tuna bowl. Got food poisoning so badly not even fifteen mins after eating. Paid my bill, puked in public, got home and called the restaurant. Told the management. They didn t give a hoot. So if anyone was puking last week, that s probably why. Won t eat here again.

Came out because of high rated rewies and was left disappointed. Ordered Mojito and Fish and Chips. Mojito was so watered down that i dont know if they just forget the rum. Fish and chips were tastless, soggy and came with the most bland corslaw i have had in years. Over all, this place is overrated. Oh and 17% minimum tip option, great tottaly justified... Not.

Had a great meal and good drinks at a reasonable price. Also had a great musician on and couldnt have enjoyed it more.

I ordered two breakfasts and a nacho to go and these cost me over $40. The breakfast is only two pieces of over cooked bread, sausage and two eggs which is $15 plus tax. The eggs were not soft as I asked but almost hard. Won t be there again.

Quiet place with reasonable prices and good service. The pasta was spicier than I thought but was tasty and a good sized portion too. Not a ton of options but your mainstays.

Amazing food, staff and atmosphere

Was just here for brunch and ordered the breakfast poutine. They never asked how I liked my eggs (they guessed correctly), but there was no flavour to it. Ive ordered this at other resurants and they tend to add spices to avoid it being just potato cheese and egg. Nothing special and over priced for what we got honnestly. Servers were friendly.

I got salmon for take-out and it was absolutely delicious! Vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was amazing.

The Rack has good food and allows dogs on the patio, but not the real patio, we dog owners get the picnic tables beside the building where we forgotten about more often than not. Take right now, I have been done for about 10-15 minutes and still no server in sight...sigh!

Came here for my sisters birthday and Im going to be very honest. it was the most worst food I have had also the same went with the 8 other people at our table. We ordered appys to start them came out cold and over cooked. I ordered my daughter chicken nuggets and fries and they came out hard as a rock and burnt which my kid did not eat them. I sure dont blame her for a 6 year old she knows that her food was not good. Our main finally came out after waiting a long time and most of it had to be sent back because it was cold or burnt or undercooked. Even the table beside us all there food was horrible i never seen a hamburger bun so burnt and hard it bounced of the table like a rock. Needless to say it was our first and last time coming here. Even my sister left here Im tears because nothing went right here. Such a huge disappointment.

Other than the interior decor nothing was good about our visit to the Rack. Service was dismal the food was not very good. Even the table next to us complained about their Bennys being cold. The food made us all not feel very good about an hour after eating it. would never return

How is this place even a restaurant the food was absolutely disgusting.

Love this restaurant so much. We go often and have even had our staff Xmas party there. Staff are friendly, owners are fabulous, the place itself is very nice and the food is always really good! If you haven t been, definitely check it out!

Langford location. This was not our first our first time here, each visit was a little less great. The food started out amazing 7 months ago and last night was bad. Greasy over cooked chicken burger, its like the cook is afraid of chicken. The beef burger wasnt much better. Everything is put together sloppy and amateur looking. The burgers come with fries and you dont get many. Portion size has gone down this past few months. Beer glasses have a soapy residue and that affects the quality of the draft beer. That was our last visit. The atmosphere is more bar as opposed to a Bistro. The dimming of lights is so 80s dive bar, turn down the lights so you cant see how bad the food looks.

A few craft beers. Lots of locals. Not a destination pub but if you are in the area, it works.

We will be back!
