Over easy eggs means you flip the egg over on the grill not steam it with a lid. Theres a noticeable difference so theres no need to convince me.

I ordered the Satay Chicken burger from the Testing Menu . Unfortunately it didn t pass the test. The burger arrived underdone and was raw in the middle. The server offered a new one, but I didn t want to risk it and had a burger instead. I understand mistakes happen, but was surprised when the check came nothing was adjusted. I was a little concerned for the next day or so, if I would get sick from the raw chicken. Added: contacted the email [email protected], as requested, with no response. Either they are so busy with complaints or just posted the comment to make the public think they care.

We spent the late morning weekday visit talking about our poor experience. My $19 breakfast was dull, minimal, nothing like the photos. Medium eggs waaay undercooked, unacceptably. All our food was cold. The wait was long yet the place almost empty. Server, friendly enough, came to ask how things were, but get this: didnt wait to hear our response. Jaws dropped. We judged that the manager wouldnt be any better, but I did report details on their feedback site. Shame that such a pretty building is so poorly run; might help if it looked like a h3ll hole, tbh. Many better options nearby; we will never be back.

I stopped coming here for breakfast 6 months ago. 6 meals in a row I had to send back my eggs because they were so under cooked I was afraid to get saminila. The upside is they do know to cook smash browns.. this wasnt one bad meal.its been an on going problem. Im done , I will never be back. Ps the servers are still great.

We order white spot about once/month. Always get the same things. Usually fairly decent but lately we notice they are nickel and diming for every little thing. Now charging a 0.25$ bag fee, lol. Youd think that would be covered in the $25 charge for a burger and fries. Also, you get endless fries dining in. Order out, and they barely fill the container. Ordered 2 burgers and fries and one was about half full...for $25, really? Also, you pay extra for a side of gravy but its hardly enough for the sad serving of fries. Again, nickel and diming on gravy? Sad white spot...please just charge more (than $25 for a burger and fries) if you need to but dont nickel and dime customers on gravy...and a bag charge, really... Sad...

A taste of home when visiting from Alberta! White Spot always beats out BP for family meals in a kid friendly place. This one is designed nice with kind staff. Food was just as to be expected, nothing wow but homey and comforting. Kid-friendliness: Staff were so kind to say do you want the second part hinting at ice cream without actually saying it. Made saying no without whiney kids so much easier! Nice touch.

To go milkshakes are something that everybody needs in their lives..

My partner and I came here for breakfast, our server was Rita and she was absolutely amazing! I have a few food allergies and Rita was ON IT! The manager printed out the ingredient information and came to the table to go over it with me. They truly cared! We will most definitely be back!! WOW WOW WOW! Amazing!

This is one of my favorite lunch stops, good food and a friendly vibe make this an easy choice. You can go for a light snack all of the way to a full meal, and there is a wide variety of choices!

my plate of spaghetti with shrimp was perfect, but my partner ordered a steak medium rare and he received one well done, he would have ordered another one, but it took him so long to come back to see us to see if everything was ok, he ate the rest of the plate and not the steak

Very slow service. They seem to rarely have the prawns for the prawn and avocado bowl and use baby shrimp instead. Nice people and fair enough price point if you disregard them not having items that are on their menu.

So we were in for dinner last night after spending 9 hrs. in Emerg, so you know how we were doing! Turn off the air, it was freezing in there last night. Lots of people going back to their cars to get sweaters and coats but anyway we had a nice time after that day! Our server was a short redhead who was on it, whatever we needed. And it was all pretty good happy to say. Came time to pay the bill and we had an old Christmas gift card for $25, sweet! Bill was just over $60 and change. So our server took the $25 off the top and told us it was $45 left. OK being tire and not thinking of it I said ok here s my card and paid! We left and got in the car, talking about how nice it had all been and our server is running up to us saying she had accidentally over charged us $10 and returned it! We were both blown away by this, I think lots would have just slipped it in their pocket and called it a night. So we didn t get this woman s name but thank you so much for the honesty, totally brightened our day! This woman is definitely a keeper and thank you again! Vince&Anne

Usually I love this place but horrible service this time. Server was cranky from the second she came over, I get people have bad days as I am having one right now so I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. Asked a few questions and she didn t seem too enthusiastic, we proceeded to my order and I ordered an appy and asked if I could also please get a pirate pack her response was seriously no you cannot . No explanation. No mannors just nope you can t have that and looked at me to order more. I also ordered a shirley temple and it came with no straw currently stirring with my fork because I have no energy to deal with careless servers who don t give a damn about their job. Disappointed and feel disrespected. Would ve at least liked a reason why instead of a direct and rude answer. It s not even busy in here right now! Start of happy hour on a Thursday at 2:15.

Terribly slow service for a place which wasnt busy. Also, let your staff know that we could see them making fun of the customers who just left.

Stopped here for breakfast in the island. Was busy so kinda slow service but the food was good and staff was friendly.

We were a large group and our server was superb! My only disappointment was the Chicken Broccoli Cheese dish. There was too much bread crumbs and not enough cheese. It made the consistency of the dish grainy and not creamy. Typical White Spot decor.

I would not recommend the lettuce wrap, I sent mine back couple pieces of lettuce and a pile of chicken.

Ordered for pick up... Do not recommend! $100 for a few super leathery overcooked burgers and fries was bad enough. But to find out tons of stuff was missing when we got home, pretty frustrating. Wont be wasting money here again. Not to mention the same order used to cost around $60, come with drinks, and actually be delicious. Twice the price for half the quality! And you dont even get everything you pay for or a drink to choke the burgers down. Save your money!

Last night my friend and I went to whitespot after our winter formal and it was absolutely amazing! Our server Shae was the sweetest, and treated us amazingly! The fettuccine alfredo is beyond amazing and don t even get me started on the garlic bread. Shae made sure that we were always content and even went out of her way to find out a question I had. Overall a great experience!!!

I ve ordered many times from this location and I always order the penne bolognese. This is the new way they are saving money by not even putting more than a tablespoon of sauce, very disappointing when you are sick at home. Had to put my own pasta sauce on it to save the meal. Not worth the cost of the meal.

Food is great, but when we sat down at the bar area, the bar was covered in food crumbs and spills. The server actually ASKED us if we wanted the table wiped down. I would have thought that was a given. (She didnt wipe it down in the end). We ordered the food, and after it came, we had to ask for napkins and cutlery. She brought napkins and cutlery and just plopped it all on the table in front of us in a pile. We set our own place settings. What ever happened to professional servers in restaurants? Nice building, good food...servers could use some training. All in all, the server was friendly, and checked on us half way through. Nothin beats a triple O burger

How can you run a restaurant with no fries

Always a great meal. This is a wonderful location.

Online order one day in advance, everything selected and neatly printed on a receipt. I even received a confirmation this morning that the order was submitted, pickup at 5:00; how could this go wrong you wonder? Arrived at 5:00 and asked about order and the teller pushes a few buttons and looked surprised will be two minutes. 20 minutes later the bags appear as if they just started making it after the teller pushed her buttons. Opening the bags and one of the burgers, all the condiments, the coleslaw and probably other things were missing.

Food was cold. Asked for more hashbrowns, came so late we were ready for the check. No coffe refill. But prices like in first class restaurant At the end the meal was for free, at least. Those chains are all the same: safe where they can (staff, food) and charge what they can to pay the shareholders. Go to family owned restaurants - if there any left....

We had a VERY long wait to get served, LONG wait for the food the the potatoes were under done, and we asked for different ones but finished our meal before they even got to the table so just asked yo pay our bill.

Overall a good experience, White Spot has come a long way in changing their reputation and it shows

We were seated at a table with wet chairs and table top. Asked the person seating us if the napkins on the trolly were clean and if so could I use a few to wipe the seat off. She was unsure and left to go get a napkin. She came back and handed me 1 napkin to wipe the table/seat dry then walked away. We ordered drinks and extra water was forgotten. Food was good no issues but we had to ask for cutlery and napkins and the extra water. Once our meal was complete our empty dishes sat on our table until it was time to pay. No offer to fill drinks again.She was still tipped $17% but I dont think we will return.

Woah man it was a shock when the bill was paid for. She said it sounded like Im having a hard time over the phone when doing pickup order. in which I am having troubles but was still ready to pay anyways. Very kind hearted and thank you so much. Sorry to have to edit my review after several negative experiences. Breakfast a week ago was cold for everyone in our party and the bacon was microwaved to show leather. Today we had lunch with friends. They were not busy at all. We were one of 3 tables occupied. Burgers were cold, fries were both cold and overdone. The worst was that my husband ordered a Legendary with a Classic Plate. They just brought him a burger and fries. The server was very nice and said it was her fault, so we asked if we could just get a couple zucchini sticks on the side. She went and talked to the manager who said it would be another $3.90. The Classic Plate add on is only 3.99, how could the zucchini be 3.90 on its own? For that matter, they could have thrown in a few zucchini sticks to make up for their mistake. Doesnt matter...its clinched the fact that we will never dine at White Spot again. Its not the amazing restaurant it used to be. Our server was very nice...thats the only positive I can offer.

Our server was friendly and helpful with food suggestions. Shared plate was separated and plated in the kitchen. Also gave us info on the area. We were there on holiday. Good local beers.

We went to White Spot today for the first time for brunch and it was amazing! Everything was cooked so perfectly! The eggs, the bacon, everything! Was so delicious! Our server was so lovely and fast and friendly. The interior is really beautiful too. The lighting and wood interior was pretty. There was no wait time but the place was bustling, with ample staff to match. Was nice to see all the staff wearing orange shirts to recognize Truth and Reconciliation day. The mimosas were SO good and even the coffee was great! Just really impressed!

I like how there is an entirely different area dedicated for mobile order pickup.

The Thanksgiving dinner was absolutely disgusting. Definitely a rip off. I think you ever used powdered potatoes. So gross

Chose to have our family Thanksgiving dinner here this year. Very disappointing. Meals were leuk warm, fake gravy, instant mashed potatoes, big portion of carrots with a couple of broccoli, no butter or seasoning. Out of wine glasses, out of fettuccine noodles. This was 4pm at beginning of dinner hour. Wont be back Dinners at soup kitchens on the news looked much better.

I ordered the new lemon chicken salad. The bowl was stuffed with so much lettuce I couldn t mix it to get to the bottom where the cukes and edamame was. The picture shows a big chicken breast laid on top. I got about six small squares of chicken with no taste. There was only 1 craisin in the salad. A big disappointment. Won t order this again.

I want to share an experience I just had at this location. I came in at 9am Nov. 2 2023 for brunch with my mother. When we were seated we asked if we could be some where that was not in-between two groups as we both have hearing loss and would find it hard to talk. The host hesitated and said ok. I will stat that the restaurant was not busy, if it has been i wouldnt have said anything. We were taken to a quieter spot and sat down. We had time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted and than waited for the server to come take our order. As we waited another customer was seated two tables away and withing minutes they were served and a drink came for them and they order food. All the while we sat there still yet to be asked if we wanted a water or coffee. Multiple servers walked by and looked at us but not one of them stopped to help. After 20 minutes of waiting we decided that we were leaving. As we walked out we told the hostess that looked surprised but didnt say anything. We hardly go out anymore with money and the economy being the way that it is. This has left a bad taste in our mouths and Im not sure if or when we will go back.

Have been going to White Spot since the first one was built ( in the early 60s )at the old Town & Country mall & it is still great. I was at the Langford store on Nov 1st & the Duncan store yesterday. Had the Farro salad & both were great. Also my grandson works at the Langford store. Vegetarian options: Farro salad is awesome Parking: Lots of room..

Every thing was great except the table we sat at was in a outer area and had no heat lamp Above it so a bit chilly.

It is pretty good for basic food. The service tends to be a hit or miss. And the atmosphere would be better if they would stop cramming everyone together in one section, leaving the majority of the restaurant empty. Would enjoy being able to hear our conversations, rather than everyone elses due to pretty much being on top of eachother.

The food was good, when we finally got it! We sat for almost an hour after ordering before we got our meals..well 4 out of 5..my husband had to wait even longer as they totally missed his order..we had to twice request missing items that were supposed to come with the meals..i spilled my water all over the table and used all the napkins we had to clean up as much as possible untill we could ask someone to bring some towels...they eventually brought handfulls of paper towels..we didnt have a problem with cleaning up the mess..it happens..but its the staff that wanders around in a zombie like state totally oblivious of their surroundings..at least 4 staff members walked right past our table while we tried to flag them for some help..non of these people seemed to have no interest in, and in no hurry to do their job... in my observation the job was to clear up tables for next customers..the problem is ..theres four that i could see doing that job and one waitress practically running circles around the others..we ran out of time and to leave before my granddaughter got her pirate pack ice cream dessert ..this was a requested location for her birthday lunch, and it was not a good experience all around..mind you, the floor staff were not rude, but they were very neglective..the waitress was very nice and apologetic, but no restitution was offered, and was rejected when i requested something to rectify it..the bill was over $100, i could have made my granddaughter macaroni and cheese at home for $2...I dont think we will be back anytime soon

One of a few restaurants in Langford that offer a breakfast menu at 10am. I have fond memories of this restaurant chain but over the years been an OK establishment. Call it a result of COVID, high prices, staff turnover or shrinking sizes but increasing prices. To me, our server today was mediocre. Breakfast entree prices carried between $15-$22, which is what I believe to be the average when compared to Fountain Dinner, Floyds or My Chosin Cafe. What stood out as expensive was coffee or tea at $4.29 a serving. I did add a gratuity to the bill but there was potential for a much higher percentage. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking in close proximity a d access to restaurant from ground level.
