Ordered via uber eats and picked up right away and then drove to a friends house 2 minutes down the road and unwrapped the sub as soon as I got there and already the bread was soggy and off putting. After reading through reviews I see that’s a common issue. The bread is quite a bit thicker than subway but it’s quite dry and dense, so too much bread honestly. To have such a thick piece of soggy bread for $18 when there are so many other options out there, in the Colwood plaza alone, is not great. I will say that there was a lot of meat in there, but I can’t see myself ever eating here again when I can get a fully loaded meat and veggie sub from subway for $5 less.
The subs were amazing and well stacked. I bit on the expensive side, but you taste the quality cuts. Only complaint, no change table for the baby. But still worth a try.
From the USA so I’m very familiar with this chain. Food was as expected, decent. Seating was a bit lacking but they are new so I guess folks are excited to try. The biggest issue was waiting 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches at a fast casual food service. I would expect that amount of time for full service restaurant. Hopefully they’ll hire more staff as it seemed one person was making all the sandwiches with the cashier running over to help when she could. Tables were also dirty but I imagine they were too busy to come clean them.
It is our second time eating at Firehouse subs restaurant and both time has been amazing. The staffs have been great, especially Preet. I had an issue ordering online to get an offer and Preet did not hesitate to get me the same offer in the store. The subs were so tasty. I highly recommend it.
First time trying firehouse subs. The staff were helpful and welcomed everyone who came in. I ordered an Italian sub and added some hot sauce from their hot sauce bar. The sub was crispy and flavourful. They even delivered the subs to our table. Thank you for the great experience well done to the staff working today 🎉🎉🎉
Good food, but service a bit slow! Staff are friendly, but the wait times to get a sub can be a bit long even if it isn't crazy busy. I don't find the subs to be soggy, but they aren't exceptionally crispy either. I find the bread is a bit softer (than say subway), which i personally like! Have been waiting for it to open, so was excited to try it. Staff and the owner are very friendly as well!
I absolutely loved my sub from here! It’s one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Everything was super fresh and service was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends and family.
When the STINGY layer meat doesn’t even cover the length of the sandwich then it’s hard not to feel ripped off spending $20 on a sandwich. Terrible value.

Food is fine. The staff is terrible. They look at you like they hate you for being there. Theres no friendliness. Their body language says they hate working there. The girl making the sandwiches in the back was loudly complaining about me to her coworker. Get some people who have some respect. I will not be visiting this place until they start hiring some Canadians. We all know why these businesses hire foreign workers.
I was super disappointed You have ruined this franchise The whole firehouse subs story is based on real firemen who wanted a place that server high quality meats and hearty sandwiches Really sad as I ve eaten at locations in Ontario that piled on the meat and made them hearty Here I could eat 2 larges just to fill up My son finished his then went to burger crush as he too was still hungry after eating hi large sub It shouldn t cost a man $30-$40 just to be full

Waited 30mins in the lobby with 3 others who seemed just as annoyed as me for a 20$ sandwich that was a 6/10 at best. Never gonna waste my time and money here again
Good food, but has screwed up my order 8/10 times ive ordered. Staff dont seem to care, quantity of ingredients is highly variable with no consistency.

Had the most amazing service from Preet and Anmol!! I love firehouse subs and theyre always the absolute best. So lucky for have them here at Colwood Corners
Asked for no onions. They hid raw white onions on the sandwich. Completely ruined and tainted the entire sandwich. I threw up. I will never go back to this place
Bread was perfectly soft and fresh. The steamed meat and cheese almost melts in your mouth. Veggies taste fresh.
Was told I couldn t get there thanksgiving turkey sandwich cause they haven t thawed the meat from there freezer and it was 2pm why advertise it if the meat is still frozen

Subs are actually delicious. The staff, however, are actually completely incompetent. 70 dollars wasted on a delivery missing every topping and paid add-on.
Messed up the order, on par with subway. Maybe it s the cooking technique but a soggy sandwich for $15 is a lot

The place is poorly managed. I wanted to love this place. Both my fiance and I were waiting for them to open for a while. When they finally did, we ran to try them. First try, horrible service and wait times. We chalked it up to them just opening. The next time we did an order online through their app. The app at the time didnt allow us to buy fountain drinks. So when we got there, we wanted to get a drink. Took them forever just to punch in for a fountain drink. Really annoyed me. This final time, food was soggy, tasted off and was missing half the vegetables it says there should be in a fully involved. Needless to say, we will not be going back any time soon. This place needs some serious attention to management and trainings.
